Belinda Alpha is another second gen spare from the Alpha Legacy. You may remember meeting her sister Bethany. Belinda is an elder with two grown children, one of whom lives with her. She also has a grandson. She's been working in Politics for quite some time and just this round reached the top. She'll be retiring soon so she got it just in time. Last round Belinda moved her new girlfriend in, who is unfortunately in the Criminal career, which could mean prison for her. Belinda's son Bryan has already topped his career and is now working on Woohoo 20. He's not overly successful at it - he's only got four so far.
Toby Grundstrom's household has always been chaotic. He is the son of Sadie and Sullivan Grundstrom (former Diva and Mr. Big). He has two sisters, Tanya and Tess, who he practically raised on his own because his parents could never really be bothered with parenting. They were so wrapped up in themselves and each other that by the time Toby was a teen, they'd decided parenting wasn't really their thing and took off to parts unknown to enjoy life. Once his sisters were grown, Toby married Renee (Tellerman) Grundstrom (daughter of Jodie and Komei) and they had three kids together: Mark, Melody, and Caryl. Toby and Renee divorced when their children were teens, and Renee moved out to live with her brother. She's deceased now and all three kids are grown, with Melody still living here with her father, since both she and Toby have the LTW of raising 20 puppies or kittens. Two birds, one stone, right? Recently Toby remarried a former townie, Dagmar, who is not only a vampire, but also much younger than his children. Melody can't stand her, but they co-exist for the sake of Roger, Toby and Dagmar's son, who is a child. Melody also got married recently, to her high school sweetheart, Marcus Hamilton (son of Marylena Hamilton and Gabe Landry), and they are expecting a baby. It doesn't look as though Toby will reach his LTW before he dies (I estimate he has four or five days left), but Melody might have time to get there. Plus, once Toby is gone, I'm sure that either Dagmar and Roger or Melody and Marcus will move out.
Ryker Jones is a former townie who has twin daughters with Katie Tellerman, but is now married to another former townie Audrey. Both Ryker and Audrey are werewolves. Ryker works in Culinary, though he's never done well at moving up the ladder; Audrey is currently working in Athletics, though she's looking to switch to Business now that she has her online degree. Though they don't have any children together, one of Ryker's twins, Darlene, lives with them, along with her new husband (one of her former professors) Phil McCullough. Darlene is a doctor and Phil is looking to get a Science job, but no luck so far. Darlene and Phil do not plan on having any children, which is probably good, since Phil is the same age as Darlene's father and might not live long enough to see any children grow up.
That's all folks! Happy Simming!

Ella Ottomas is the daughter of Gilbert Jacquet and Lila Ottomas. She's an elder with two brothers and three children: Austin, Sydney, and Richard. We met Austin at Uni and Sydney at Briarwood. Richard is a teen, who decided this round that he wanted to follow in his siblings' footsteps and attend boarding school. Ella had the money and Richard had good grades, so we sent him off as soon as he aged for the day. Ella hasn't been particularly lucky in love, but she is quite successful in her Dance career (she's almost topped it). I guess she'll be living on her own for a while, at least until one of her kids decides to move back home.
Katie Tellerman is the daughter of Jodie and Komei Tellerman. She has two living siblings and seven children, some bio and some adopted. Her three oldest are grown, she has one in college, two teens (one at home, one at boarding school), and her youngest is a child. While Katie has had relationships here and there, she seems to prefer being on her own, living her life and raising her kids the way she sees fit. She's been working in the Business career for a long time and is nearing retirement age. It's been a good job for her, however, because she's always getting bonuses which really helps when you're the single parent of a large family.
Patrick Davison is an elderly former townie, with no children. He lives alone in a house where he used to be a boarder, but when the elderly residents died without heirs, he inherited the house and their dog. Patrick isn't going to be around much longer (nor is the dog) and I'm not really sure what to do with him. He doesn't really have any friends or love interests (he was originally moved in as someone's boyfriend, but after they passed, he became a boarder here). If he dies before the dog, I guess the dog will placehold until someone new can move in. Otherwise, the house will become vacant unless he finds someone to move in and take over.

Tosha Go is a former townie who lives in the house that was owned for a long time by Felicia Roseland, who was also a former townie (she was once married to Cyd Roseland). Felicia had an extra bedroom in the house so she lived with a series of roommates who helped with bills and child care for her son Jasper. Tosha is the last of these roommates to move in before Felicia died. Jasper is currently at Uni and doesn't plan to return here when he graduates, so it's effectively become Tosha's. I have to admit that I find Tosha exceptionally boring. She's a vampire with the LTW to have a Golden Anniversary, which can never happen. She has no job as there's still plenty of money left over from when Felicia was here. She has friends, but no serious romantic prospects. I thought something interesting might happen this round when one of her friends invited her downtown for an outing, but all she did the whole time was stand around. Gavin Jacquet greeted her at least and they have three bolts, so maybe that will eventually become something? I'm thinking of moving in another roommate just to have someone more interesting to play here.
Next we have Wanda and Gabe Smith. Wanda has three children from her first marriage to Stephen Tinker: Melody, Cord, and Octavius. Melody lives on the commune and the twins are at Uni. In addition, Wanda and Gabe have two adopted sons together: Weldon and Amar, who are both teens. Gabe works in the Business career and Wanda competes in cooking contests for extra cash. This round they decided to adopt another baby, despite the fact that they can't afford to pay college funds for the four kids who still need them...and the fact that their two kids still at home are already teens...and the fact that Wanda is 68 and will be lucky to live long enough to see the baby grow to child. Normally I wouldn't allow someone as elderly as Wanda to adopt, but since Gabe is significantly younger and has the LTW to Marry Off 6 Children, I figured one more would really be beneficial to him.
That's it for now. Happy Simming!

Today we have Jessie Dreamer Tellerman Larson, one of my favorite sims. Jessie is the daughter of Brandi and Darren Dreamer and she still lives in the original Dreamer house, though it's been modified and added to over the years. You may be wondering just how many kids Darren and Brandi had. You already know that Brandi had three sons with Skip and Darren had Dirk with Darleen, but together they had another five: Celeste, Jessie, Drake, and twins Chelsea and Sasha. The youngest four are the only ones still living and Jessie is 81 this round. I've always liked Jessie, partly because her roots run so deep in this town, but also because she always perseveres even through the worst of times. As a teen, Jessie had a crush on her best friend Matthew Larson (son of Jason and Marisa Larson), but he never noticed and ended up marrying someone else. Jessie was pretty sad about that and rebounded to Matthew's cousin Brandon Tellerman (son of Jodie and Komei Tellerman). They got married and had a son Mason (he's in prison now), but then she caught Brandon cheating and the marriage ended. Not long after, Matthew's marriage broke up as well and he finally gave Jessie a chance. They got married right away, but Jessie also caught him cheating within days of their wedding, ending that marriage as well. Afterwards Jessie gave birth to their twins, Daniel and Brianna. With two disastrous marriages behind her, Jessie decided she'd never marry again, but still wanted to expand her family, so she adopted two more daughters, Brooke and Alyssa. She supported all five of her children by herself by working in Law Enforcement and eventually opening a home gallery to sell some of her father's work, as well as her pottery. All her kids are grown now, though Alyssa is still at Uni, and she has eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Daniel still lives in the main house with her and Brianna moved into the guest house after a recent breakup. Jessie is retired now, but continues to run the gallery. Daniel has the LTW to own five top businesses, so he's running a bookstore in town, which just this round reached level 10. As soon as his cashier (Lisa Ramirez) is eligible he will promote her to manager and start looking for a new business. Brianna is working in the Athletic career, which is tough to do as a vampire, but she just needs one more promotion to get to the top, so she's making it work.

Today we're visiting Jonathan and Demi Greaves. Jonathan is a former townie with six children: Evan Broke (who we met yesterday), twins Isabelle and Sydney, Lauren, Kylie, and Emily. Evan is the product of a long ago relationship with Jade Broke (who is now deceased), the three older girls (who we met at Uni) are from his first marriage to Ivy Copur (who died shortly after Lauren was born), and the two younger girls are from his second and current marriage to Demi (a former hobby lot director). Jonathan also has four grandchildren via Evan, but he hasn't had much contact with them since he and Evan are not close. To say Jonathan's life has been a struggle would be an understatement. After a nasty breakup with Jade in which she cheated on him and then cut him out of his son's life, Jonathan was so happy to find Ivy. I thought they'd be together long term, but the game had other plans. When the twins were toddlers and Ivy was pregnant with Lauren she invited some friends over for an outing (usually I have them go out, but she was super pregnant and couldn't leave the lot) while Jonathan was at work. Unfortunately the outing did not go well at all due to Ivy giving birth in the middle of it. On top of that, the negative mood hit at the end of the outing was enough to send Ivy into hunger failure and she died. No one in the house was old enough to plead for her, but I was able to save and grab a Servo from the bin before the girls got taken by the Social Worker. Poor Jonathan returned home to find he had a third daughter and no wife. He was a single dad for a while after before finally meeting and marrying Demi. They had two daughters of their own and are both now elders. Jonathan is Chief of Staff now, but Demi has consistently struggled in her Culinary career and consequently, doesn't make much money, which means they still struggle financially, especially with five daughters still needing college money. Though they managed to make the college fund payments this round, they're ending the round with just $740 in their pockets.
Next up are Hailey Cox and Evan Dreamer. Hailey is the daughter of Marion and Kennedy Cox. She has one brother, but also two biological half-sisters (Rhonda and Nadine) on Marion's side who were taken by the Social Worker before she was born. She has four children: Kimberli (who we met at boarding school, adopted), Hunter (adopted), Noah (the product of an affair with Alvin Broke, who we met earlier), and Brendan (her son with Evan, who was born this round). Evan (adopted son of Drake Dreamer and coincidentally the brother of Rhonda after she was also adopted by Drake) used to be married to plant sim Myra (who we met earlier) and they have two daughters together: Claire and Caryl. (They also had four plant sons while married, but they are not technically related to Evan.) Claire is at Uni and Caryl lives with Myra. If you made it through all that, what it boils down to is that only the three boys live with them. Hunter is a child, Noah a toddler, and Brendan an infant, but they will all grow up next round. Hailey has never had a traditional job; she's working on her sports hobby, so that she can start a home business in which she instructs others in sports. However, she's not there yet and has burned through all the inheritance left by her parents. Evan didn't bring much money in with him when he moved in (he and Myra were pretty broke), but he does have a good job in Oceanography. One income, however, may not be enough to support three kids, plus provide college money to three more.
Next up is Megan Broke. Megan is the daughter of David and Alicia Ottomas; she has three living siblings and twin sons (Jason and Travis) with her former husband Evan Broke, who we met yesterday. She's also a vampire, which made it pretty tough to raise twins on her own initially, but now that they're teens she's able to delegate some responsibility to them. Megan hasn't been particularly lucky in love. Her marriage didn't work out and then she got involved with Mason Tellerman just prior to his arrest and conviction. She's still carrying a torch for him and hasn't really dated since he got locked up. This round she took the boys out for dinner and I had hoped she'd meet someone nice, but despite there being a few eligible men to choose from, she refused to even talk to anyone other than her sons. Jason briefly rolled the want to attend private school, which I think is more about the cute girl he met who goes to Briarwood than a desire for quality education, however since he and his brother are only one day away from graduating I didn't really entertain the idea.

Today we'll meet Lakshmi and Evan Broke. Lakshmi is the daughter of Gabe Landry and Kendal Greaves. She has five siblings and six children from three marriages. I think I mentioned her briefly when updating her son Tyler. Her first marriage was to Mason Tellerman (who is now in prison) and resulted in three kids: Caryl, Ben, and Tyler. Her second marriage was to Gavin Jacquet (who we met earlier) and resulted in one son: Ricky. Her third and current marriage is to Evan Broke; they have twins: Declan and Tara. Evan is the son of Jade Broke and Jonathan Greaves. He has a whopping 10 siblings and four children from two marriages. His first marriage was to Megan (Ottomas) Broke and resulted in twin sons: Jason and Travis. Altogether that's eight kids, plus Lakshmi has a grandson as well. Caryl and Ben are adults, Tyler's a young adult, Jason and Travis are teens, Ricky is a child, and Declan and Tara are toddlers. Add to that three dogs, two cats, and a partridge in a pear tree and you have the chaos that is their life. Their marriage is shaky at best which is not all that surprising when you consider that they both cheated on their former spouses with each other and are now both having affairs with other sims. The only thing they don't have to worry about is money; they have plenty of it to go around, which is handy with so many college funds to contribute to. It remains to be seen if this couple can hold things together or not.

Today we have sisters Holly Andersen and Naomi Landgraab. They are the adopted daughters of Meredith Landgraab (daughter of Lucy and Malcolm, sister of Stephen). Besides each other they have five other siblings. Holly recently got married to Mallory Andersen (a former townie) and this round they adopted a baby girl named Hope. Holly has the 20 puppies/kittens want and is about halfway through it. Mallory is just starting out in the Education career, while working on her online masters degree. Naomi owns the rec center in town and is trying to earn $100K. Last round she discovered she was pregnant from a casual encounter and has decided to give the baby up when it's born.
Next we have Solveig Bachman and Ratna Platz. They're not married, but have been together for a long time. Solveig is a former townie who used to be involved with Justin Kim (they have twins together), then she married a townie, Remington Bachman, who went to prison where he died, and now she's with Ratna (also a former townie). Though she and Ratna never had any children together, Solveig does have an adopted son who moved back in after college. The twins live elsewhere. She and Ratna are both at the top of their careers, Politics and Medicine, respectively. Their current LTWs are to Max Skills and Earn $100K, so I've kept them working where they are. Solveig's son Todd is in the Intelligence field and is dating around, but isn't ready to settle down just yet.

Today we'll catch up with Lisa and Shawn Wong. Lisa is the oldest daughter of Stephen and Summer Landgraab (we met Stephen earlier); her mother died when she was a child and she and her brother Eric went to live with their dad and his long-time girlfriend Tess. Stephen and Tess have nine children together, which means Lisa has ten younger siblings. Shawn is the vampire son of Maura Wong and Matthew Picaso. His parents are the founders of the vampire lot I started a long time ago (before Vamps Gone Wild) when I wanted to get more creatures into my game. Shawn is one of ten kids (though one of his sisters died young; she wasn't good at being a vampire). Maybe this is why they've decided not to have any children, although Shawn does have one daughter that was the result of an affair he had with Brooke Larson. He's never met her and presumably doesn't know she exists. Lisa is at the top of the Intelligence career and is considering switching to Architecture once she uses up all her vacation time. Shawn is still working his was up the ladder in the Culinary career. This round they had a nice night out in Bluewater and adopted a puppy.
Next up are River and Meadow (Thayer) Todd. They are both former townies, so they have no family apart from their son Stone. River has reached the top of the Athletic career and will use up the rest of his vacation time before switching to Criminal, which could spell trouble for this couple if he gets sent to prison. The relationship is already a little strained given that River is a werewolf and his personality is not too nice, not to mention the fact that they've both been unfaithful. Meadow is working in the Science career and her LTW is to have six grandchildren. Hopefully they'll have at least one more child so that that doesn't fall solely on poor Stone's shoulders. For now Stone is just a happy child, having a blast playing with all his toys and his pets.
Next we have Sasha Dreamer's family. Sasha is the daughter of Brandi and Darren Dreamer (we met her brother Drake and twin sister Chelsea earlier). She has three remaining siblings and one adult daughter, Donna, who lives with her. Donna's father is Brandon Tellerman (son of Jodie and Komei), but she only me him briefly once when she was a child. Sasha's nephew Quentin (Chelsea's son) also lives here; Sasha raised him when his mother decided to join the commune. His father is actually Alexander Goth, who is now deceased; I don't think he ever knew him. Quentin has always been especially close to his Aunt Sasha, as well as his cousin, who is more like his sister really. Sometimes it's a real struggle for him though because Sasha and Donna do not get along at all and are always arguing about something. Recently Donna had an affair with Erik Swain which resulted in a pregnancy. Before the baby was even born, Donna had moved on with Orlando Centowski and decided to live with him. The house is not exactly big (only two bedrooms), so since Donna and Orlando are both vampires, they've installed their coffins in what used to be the den and built a very tiny nursery at the end of the hall nearby. Donna's daughter was born this round (she named her April) and she and Orlando decided to immediately try for another one. I don't know where they'll put the new one, but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Sasha may pass away before the new baby is born, which would free up her room.
Lastly, we have Tosha Futa, who is the widow of Alvin Futa. There was a significant age difference between the two, which meant that Alvin died when their two sons were still young. Tosha has raised her boys on her own ever since, occasionally dating, but never finding anyone she wanted to settle down with. Her oldest son, Bryce, is out on his own now and her younger son, Blake, became a teen this round. This is great news for Tosha, who can finally stop paying the nanny to watch Blake before school and then hanging around doing nothing all day. Not that money is terribly tight, but still. Tosha has a good job in the Science career, after already topping Medicine. I'm hoping she finds someone to settle down with soon, because by the time Blake grows up, she'll be an elder.

Pleasantview 7/23/20
Today we'll visit Zack Tellerman and his daughter Jenna. Zack is one of Jodie and Komei's kids (the youngest, I believe); only two of his five siblings remain. He has four children: his adopted daughter Jenna, two kids with Ella Ottomas (Austin and Sydney, who we met previously), and a daughter with Tamara Fuchs (Joy) who he tries to have a relationship with, but doesn't get to see often. Though Zack is known for his romantic entanglements, he's remained a perpetual bachelor his whole life. He seems to prefer playing the field. He did live with Ella for a while, but has never even considered marriage. Zack's daughter Jenna is much the same, despite not sharing his DNA. She has the LTW for 50 first dates, which is agonizing, but doable for her since she's a vampire. She's currently at ten dates though, so it'll be a while lol. She was fairly serious with Jonathan Ottomas for a while, but he ran into her while on a date with another guy and broke things off. Maybe they'll work something out in time.
Next up is the commune. I've mentioned it a few times before. This is a place where sims go (if they meet the right conditions) to live a simple life away from modern problems (and conveniences). Initially I had sims with LTWs of 20 Lovers/20 Woohoos and 50 First/50 Dream Dates, but it got too dramatic with all the boings and slaps. Actually a few of those still live here, but are elderly so I'm not kicking them out. I recently changed the rules to allow only those with LTWs for 20 Best Friends or 20 Pet Best Friends. This will greatly reduce the demand to live here and hopefully cut down on the crazy a bit. Residents of the commune are self-sufficient, growing their own food, fishing, making crafts, etc. Relationships evolve naturally and, while they may greet walkbys, they rarely leave the lot. Children born into the commune must follow the rules until they are old enough to decide whether or not to remain; if they leave they will have little to no contact with the family members who stay, nor will they have any money to start their lives with. Our current residents are: Chelsea Dreamer, Julien Cooke, Kelly and Lynn Broke, Polly Picaso, Melody Tinker, and Brittany Upsnott.
Chelsea is the daughter of Brandi and Darren. She has three remaining siblings and a son, who she left with her twin Sasha when she decided to join the commune. She's quite old and likely won't be with us much longer. Her primary responsibility within the commune is gardening.
Julien Cooke never managed to have any children before coming here, so his commune family is all he's got. He's also elderly and may not live much longer. Julien's primary responsibility is making pottery to sell.
Kelly and Lynn Broke are the daughters of Dustin and Angela. Their sister Amber also lived on the commune, but died of a mysterious disease. Their other three siblings are alive and well in Pleasantview. Kelly has an adult son from before she joined the commune, as well as two grandchildren she's never met. Lynn has a daughter with Armando Ottomas, who she was seeing right before coming here. She was pregnant when she arrived and Moon was born on the compound. Armando never met her. When Moon reached adulthood, she chose to leave and is currently living in the homeless shelter. Kelly does the cooking for the commune and Lynn paints for money.
Polly Picaso is the plant/vamp daughter of Jessica Picaso. She has two plant siblings, three plant children, one non-plant son with Kirby Bruty, and an alien grandson who she hasn't met. Since she's a plant/vamp, she's nearly invincible, so she's basically the placeholder for the lot should it empty out at any point. She may eventually fulfill her LTW of 20 Woohoos, but at the moment she's only at one, so probably not any time soon. Polly fishes and takes care of repairs.
Melody Tinker is, of course, the daughter of Stephen and Wanda Tinker. Her parents are no longer together, but she does have five siblings and another on the way between the two. Melody is one of the first to fall under the new rules and therefore has a LTW to have 20 Best Friends, of which she's acquired six so far. Her primary responsibility is digging for treasure to sell, but she'll likely be switched over to gardening when Chelsea dies.
Brittany is the newest member of the commune. She has the LTW for 20 Pet Best Friends, which is one I've never accomplished before, so we'll see. She has no family, having come here straight out of college, however she does have an outstanding student loan which she'll be unable to make payments on while she's here. I've decided that the loan will continue to accrue interest as long as she's here, but if she finishes her LTW and decides to leave, she'll have to start making payments. Otherwise, we'll consider it a default on the loan. Brittany's job is making floral bouquets to sell.
That's all folks! Happy Simming!
Pleasantview 7/22/20
Drake Dreamer and Bethany Alpha have been mentioned a few times via their children. Drake is the son of Brandi and Darren Dreamer. He had eight siblings, but only three are still living. Drake himself turned 72 this round. He has six children (two adopted, three with Bethany, and one alien), one of whom, Rhonda, moved back home this round after her recent breakup. He also has two granddaughters from his oldest son Evan. Bethany is a second gen spare of the Alpha Legacy. She had two sisters, only one is still alive. Her only children are the three she shares with Drake. Drake and Bethany have been together off and on for a very long time. Neither has ever been particularly faithful and their relationship has been a roller coaster to say the least. For a long time they didn't even live together because neither wanted to be tied down. I think, however, that they've finally decided to settle down and just enjoy their golden years together. Drake is retired now and Bethany is really trying to get that last promotion to the top of Culinary before she reaches retirement age.
Heath Lothario has deep connections in Pleasantview. His mother was Nina Caliente Lothario and his father was Daniel Pleasant. It's ironic that Daniel's only son does not bear his last name and Don's last name was given to a child that isn't his. Nina, Daniel, and Don are all long since dead, so maybe that's irrelevant at this point. Heath is an elderly vampire werewolf with two children, one from his first marriage and one from his second. You may recall Nadine being mentioned as the sister of Rhonda, who was taken by the Social Worker and adopted by Heath and his then-husband Jace. Heath is now married to Randy (London) Lothario and their son's name is Alvin. Nadine is grown with four children of her own, while Alvin just became a teen this round. Incidentally, Randy is a lot younger than Heath (for now), so he's kind of a trophy husband I suppose, and he's also a werewolf. Nina supported herself and Heath by running a clothing shop, which Heath took over after she died. After he became a vampire, however, it got too difficult for him to run, so he passed the business to Randy, which works out really well since Randy has the LTW to own 5 top businesses. This one is up to rank 8 I think.
That's all for now. Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/21/20
Today we'll meet Marvin and Vyn Gieke, as well as Brad Dreamer. Marvin is the plant son of Jan Gieke (grandson of Chester and Sarah). He's also a vampire, which is pretty interesting. He's married to Vyn (a former townie) and they have twin daughters (Raven and Regina) who became toddlers this round. Before moving here and getting married, however, Marvin lived with his cousin Myra Dreamer (who we met earlier) and helped raise her kids, one of whom is Brad (also a plant sim). They were roommates for a while before Marvin met Vyn. Brad was working in Culinary for a long time, while working on his online education, but now that he's working on his masters, he's able to take a job in Oceanography which is what he truly wants. Marvin works in Entertainment and Vyn in Science (which she reached the top of this round), though her LTW is to reach her Golden Anniversary. Unfortunately, she'll never be able to achieve her LTW with Marvin since he'll never be an elder. On a side note, Marvin and Vyn will likely be moving to their own place in the near future because the tiny townhouse they all share is not nearly enough room to raise the twins in once they reach childhood.
Next we have Wyatt Picaso and Noelle Dennis. Wyatt is the plant son of Polly Picaso (grandson of Jessica) and he has three siblings. Noelle is a former hobby lot director, who was involved with Justin Kim for a while (their son Marcel lives with Justin), then she rented out Lucy Hanby's upstairs apartment for a while. Noelle and Wyatt's relationship is very new, but going well so far. Noelle will need to do a lot of decorating to get the townhouse suitable for a non-plant sim to live in, especially considering they're expecting a baby. Both are doing well in their jobs (Wyatt in Oceanography and Noelle in Entertainment) so money shouldn't be a problem.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/20/20
Today we meet Paige and Lee Bruty. Paige is the daughter of Gabe and Kendal Landry (both former townies). She has five siblings and three children: twins from a previous relationship (with Thug Alvin Broke, who we met at the prison) and one son with her husband. Paige works in the Athletic career, recently became an elder, and is also a werewolf. Having been through a number of failed relationships prior to meeting Lee, I think she's pretty happy to be settled down, despite the fact that there's a significant age difference between the two. Lee is the plant son of Charles Bruty (grandson of Sandy). He has two plant brothers (one is Kirby, who we met earlier). He gets along well with Paige's twins as long as they don't catch any PDA between them. He's currently working in the Gamer career, but has a LTW of having six grandchildren. It's a good thing he's planning to have some plant babies once his son Shay is a little older.
Next up is Tamara Fuchs. Tamara is a former townie, who is now a single mom of four. By day she's got everything together, working as a doctor and taking care of her kids, but by night she's a hunter on the prowl, looking for any willing man she can find to keep her company for the night. Her first two children were adopted, but the younger two are the result of these liaisons that she seems powerless to resist. It's getting pretty expensive too. Saving for four college educations is no joke. Even though she makes good money, it's not nearly enough, and money's getting pretty tight. One of her baby daddies contributes to his child's education, which helps, but the other rarely does given that he's more broke than she is and he caught her with another man, which made him pretty upset. The good news is...she didn't get pregnant this round!
Stephen Tinker has had a pretty tough life. He and Wanda split up not long after their twins were born. He wasn't making enough money selling his toys, so he bought a little shop where he sells small appliances. Even that wasn't enough to keep him afloat financially and he wound up in the homeless shelter. Though Wanda remarried, Stephen has drifted from one dead end relationship to another. He had a one night stand with Tamara Fuchs which resulted in a daughter, but caught her with someone else not long after. Consequently, he's barely spent any time with his little girl. His oldest daughter Melody joined the commune and he hasn't seen her for quite some time. At least he's still close with the twins (Cord and Octavius, who we met earlier at Uni). Finally he was able to save up enough money to get a tiny apartment and he met the woman of his dreams, Lynn Bowman (former "college" instructor). When she found out she was pregnant, they decided she should move in with him. Their baby is due next round, but Stephen may not live long enough to meet him/her, as he only has a sliver left on his life bar. It won't be a picnic for Lynn either, considering she's almost an elder herself, and she'll be left with a baby to raise on her own, a business to run on her own, and a full-time job in the Science career.
Lisa Ramirez thought her life was perfect. She raised two children with her husband Checo, and was ready to settle into retirement with him, when he decided he wasn't quite ready to be old just yet and left Lisa for a younger woman. Now Lisa lives with her daughter Tessa and Tessa's boyfriend Toby (former townie). She works as an employee at a bookstore and tries to avoid Checo as much as possible. Tessa is caught in the middle. She loves both her parents, but can't let them be in the same room together. Not that she has a lot of time to worry about her parents since she took over the furniture store from her father. I think she's probably more worried about her own relationship, as it hasn't been going well lately. Her boyfriend is currently spending all his time working on his online degree, while she spends all hers working at the store. She also suspects he's cheating on her (she's correct) and it's causing a lot of strain. Of course, she did have a moment of weakness with her friend Joel, so she's not completely innocent in all this. I guess we'll have to wait and see how it turns out.
That's all for today. Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/19/20
Today we're visiting the Gieke family. I've mentioned before that the Giekes are another branch of plant sims apart from the Brutys and Picasos. Unlike the Brutys and Picasos, however, the Giekes became plant sims completely naturally. Chester married Sarah, a former townie, and they hac three children together. They were really into gardening and had a large number of plots and fruit trees. Chester was my first ever plant sim in game and his wife followed soon after. Their children (Dexter, Olive, and Jan) were teens at the time and they too ended up becoming plant sims and immediately aged to adult, which I don't think can even happen anymore due to some patch or other, because I've never again had a teen become a plant sim, despite actively trying. At some point in time I decided that the Giekes would run a nursery in order to supply the town with fresh produce. I built a lot with a huge greenhouse and moved everyone in to run a home business. I had each member of the family have one plant baby each to keep the family going. Sarah had already passed on by this time, but Chester ended up having one more plant baby, Martha. Eventually I got bored with the produce business and decided to integrate the family back into Pleasantview. We already met Myra a couple of days ago; she's the daughter of Olive. We haven't yet met Jan's son Marvin, but he'll be coming up in the near future. Most of the rest of the Gieke clan live together on the lot we'll visit today. Barney is the son of Dexter and he's very old. I wasn't even sure if he'd live through this round, but he did. Barney's daughter Agnes also lives here and is in a relationship with Martha's son Eugene (who is Barney's cousin, but technically not related to Agnes). Agnes has a son, Oliver, and Eugene has two daughters, Myrtle and Phyllis, and together they have a non-plant daughter Audrey, who was born this round. As if that was already complicated enough. Agnes' son Oliver and Eugene's daughter Myrtle are also in a relationship and have a non-plant son together, Edgar, who is also still an infant. If you're lost, don't feel bad, it's terribly confusing even for me. At some point the family will need to split because the household is bursting at the seams right now.

Pleasantview 7/18/20
Today we'll catch up with Rhonda Dreamer and Russ Bear. Rhonda is the adopted daughter of Drake Dreamer (son of Darren and Brandi). She has five official siblings, but technically she has eight. Here's what happened. Rhonda was born to Derek and Marion Broke along with her sister Nadine. She and Nadine were unfortunately taken by the Social Worker (this is the only time anyone's ever been taken in Pleasantview). Nadine was adopted by another family, but Rhonda was adopted by her Uncle Drake, which meant her uncle became her father and her father became her uncle. (Derek was Brandi Broke's third son, who she was pregnant with at the beginning.) After all this took place, Derek died and Rhonda's bio mom Marion remarried Kennedy Cox and had two children with him, Hailey and Christian. Therefore, Rhonda has five official siblings, but three others who she is biologically related to. Russ is a former burglar, who has reformed his ways and now makes a living from discovering new stars and planets while stargazing. As a result of all his stargazing he was recently abducted and gave birth to a daughter, Robin, who became a toddler this round. Maybe it was the stress of dealing with a baby that she didn't bargain for, or the fact that becoming a werewolf changed her personality, or maybe it was all the studying she's been doing to get her masters in Medicine so she can switch careers from Oceanography to Medicine, but Rhonda and Russ decided to call it quits this round. They haven't been getting along for a while and it was time. Rhonda will be moving back home with her father and his girlfriend once they've been played.

Pleasantview 7/17/20
Today we'll visit Alyssa and Chase Picaso. Alyssa is the plant daughter of Kirby Bruty, who we met earlier (great-granddaughter of Sandy Bruty). She has four siblings. Chase is the plant son of Polly Picaso (grandson of Jessica Picaso, who was the other original plant sim along with Sandy). He has three siblings. Interestingly, their parents were once involved with each other, resulting in a son together, Ray, which means that Alyssa and Chase actually share a half-sibling without being related to each other at all. Weird, right? Anyway, they also have an alien son, Troy (technically only Chase's), who is just a baby at the moment. They are both nearing the top of their careers (Alyssa in Culinary and Chase in Oceanography), so they have a decent amount of cash and could move to a nicer house than the trailer they currently live in, but plant sims don't really need much in the way of space or furniture and they're pretty content where they are.
Next up are a pair of roommates: Lauren Todd and Demi Landchild. Lauren is a vampire, werewolf, and as of this round evil witch. Lauren is a former townie who was married once, but her husband left her for Meadow Thayer. Recently she's been dating a married man and has discovered that she's pregnant with his child. She was planning to adopt a baby soon, but may have to put that off a while due to this new development. Lauren's roommate Demi is also a werewolf. She's been looking for Mr. Right for a while, but all she ever finds is Mr. Right Now. She's seems to have settled on Hayden Butler for the time being and moved him in. He's significantly older than she is; he has an adult daughter and three grandchildren. I guess Demi's not feeling too picky these days. Before the round had ended, she also found herself to be in the family way. The babies will be very close in age. If Demi and Hayden work out, they'll need to get their own place eventually, but for now I'm leaving everyone together.
Zoe Picaso is another plant daughter of Polly Picaso (we met her brother Chase above). She has three siblings and no children. She broke up with her long-time boyfriend not too long ago and since she had nowhere to go (her mother lives on a commune and she's not close to her siblings), she ended up moving in with her good friend Ty Tellerman (son of Jodie and Komei), who was elderly and needing help with his dogs. Ty died not long after Zoe moved in and left everything to her, so she's stayed on to care for his pets. She's working in the Gamer career and has started dating Frances Worthington. I don't think she knows he's engaged. Apart from him or her ex Russ, she doesn't really know any dateable men. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she'll meet someone while I'm playing through the rest of the round.
Finally, we have Myra Dreamer. She is the plant daughter of Olive Gieke (granddaughter of Sarah and Chester Gieke, the original plant sims in the Gieke line). Myra has four plant sons and two non-plant daughters with her ex-husband Evan Dreamer. Three of her four sons have moved out on their own, her oldest daughter, Claire is at LFT, and her youngest daughter Caryl became a teen this round. Myra has been working for a very long time to complete her LTW of raising 20 puppies or kittens. Primarily this has been done by adopting puppies/kittens, waiting for them to grow up, and then selling them off to passersby. This round she finally adopted the final two puppies she'll need to complete her goal. Even though she's 70, her bar is only slightly past halfway, so I think she'll live to see her dream realized. Myra's youngest plant son, Ethan, has the LTW of having 6 pets reach the top of a career, so he kept two of the pets Myra raised to achieve his goal. Unfortunately the pets were taken a while back and they've only been able to afford to buy one of them back. Ethan was finally able to find a job this round that doesn't require any education, so he'll hopefully be able to save up to get the other pet back soon. In the meantime, he's working on teaching Pansy all the commands so she can move up the job ladder quickly. It's interesting to note that this family lives in the trailer where Brandi Broke originally lived with her three boys. It's fitting because they're just as broke as she was, lol.
Until next time, Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/16/20
Today I'm playing Kenny Ottomas (one of the original twins of Samantha and Peter). He's the only one of his siblings still alive because he's a vampire...an elder vampire, grrr. Since I played the Ottomas family before the Seasons patch, Kenny thinks his father is Brandi Broke. Therefore, I made the decision long ago not to let Kenny or his twin Keith ever have children so the problem would die with them. Kenny, however, is determined to live forever. He has a beautiful house and a lot of money, but is super boring to play. He used to have several love interests, but they've all died off at this point. Now he's just dating Ella Ottomas (daughter of Lila who we met earlier), but it's not that serious. This round he slept all day, did a little gardening at night, and hung around doing nothing as I fast forwarded till morning. I told you, super boring.
Our next household is much less boring than Kenny. Partially because of Kenny (and the many other vamps overrunning my town due to "Vamps Gone Wild") I decided what Pleasantview needed was a Slayer. So I created one and named her (what else?) Buffy Summers. Buffy doesn't follow the rules of Pleasantview; her sole purpose is to hunt down and take out vampires. I give them a fighting chance by making her defeat them on three separate occasions before they have to die. If a vamp defeats Buffy in a fight, she can't hunt for two days, giving them at least that much longer to walk the earth. So far, Buffy hasn't actually killed any vampires, but a couple are close. A while back I had her adopt a child to take over the slaying business when he grows up. His name is Bill. Right now he's just a child, but he is working on getting his body skill up so he'll be ready when the time comes. This round Buffy was still recovering from a battle lost, so she couldn't go out hunting, but she made good use of her time by harvesting and replanting her garden. Next round she'll be back to work.
Finally we have Caryl Tellerman and her boyfriend Scott Landgraab. Caryl is the daughter of Lakshmi Broke and Mason Tellerman. We met Mason at the prison and one of her brothers (Tyler) at Uni. She has four additional siblings as well, due to her mother being married three times. She's the oldest and, to escape the chaos that was her childhood, she moved in with her grandmother Kendal as soon as she reached adulthood. She started her own business (a music shop where she sells instruments) and helped her grandma out with her five cats. Her grandmother and two of the cats have now passed away and she lives with her boyfriend and their son Billy. Scott is the adopted son of Meredith Landgraab (daughter of Lucy and Malcolm, sister of Stephen who we met earlier). He has six siblings and works in the Adventure career. He's also expecting an alien baby. He just had his first pop this round, so it'll be a while yet, but I adore alien babies so I can't wait.
That's it for today. Happy Simming!
Pleasantview 7/15/20
Today we are visiting Sharlene Ottomas and her boyfriend Joe Graham. Sharlene is a former hobby lot director and Joe is a former townie. Sharlene was once married to Logan Ottomas (Sharla's son) and they have a daughter, Claire, together. We actually already met Claire over at the prison; she'll likely return here once she gets out. In addition, the couple have a toddler daughter, Jessica and just this round they welcomed a baby boy, Randall. They plan to try for another baby right away next round (Joe doesn't have a lot of time left). Sharlene has a job in Law Enforcement and Joe is a stay-at-home dad, which means money is a bit tight on one income, but they're making it work for now. With an extra mouth to feed and potentially another, plus Claire, it remains to be seen.
Up next is the Orphanage! This is one of my favorite lots to play; I'm a sucker for an underdog and these kids really have it rough. I won't go into detail about how sims decide to give up their children because it's quite complicated, but suffice it to say that any "unwanted" children or true orphans with no relatives who can care for them end up here. This lot is technically an apartment lot with four units, but as with Briarwood, I consider them all to be living in one household. Obviously a group of kids needs a caregiver and so I've grown up a group of NPC teens and installed them in each unit as placeholders/caregivers. I set up a communal cafeteria on the ground floor which I was hoping would spawn a cafeteria worker like the one at Briarwood, but it got glitched somehow and not only did no worker ever show up, but the stove is unusable to anyone, which means the caregivers must prepare meals of cereal and salad, etc. If the place clears out of kids at some point I may try to redo it, but for now this is what we've got. Also on the ground floor, there is a library, a rec room, and two communal bathrooms. Out back is a sparsely furnished playground. The second floor contains the living units, which are made up of a room with six beds for all the children to share, a private bedroom/bathroom for the caregiver, and a nursery which only the caregiver has access to. Now on to the update. Just for fun, since the kids "don't know" who their parents are, I won't be passing that info along, though you may eventually be able to connect the dots when I play the parents and mention that they've given up a child.
Unit One has six kids (the max allowed per unit): Anthony Tellerman, Dale Futa, Maya Tellerman, Olivia Landgraab, Mari Alpha, and Kyra Broke. The caregiver is Michelle Kearney.
Anthony is a teen with a B average. His LTW is to be an Athlete. Lucky for him, he won't need a college degree for that because it's unlikely he'd be able to afford to go without earning several scholarships.
Dale is a teen with a D average and a job in Law Enforcement. His LTW is also for Law Enforcement, which he won't need a degree for, which is good because I consider a D to be failing and would not allow him to be accepted to Uni with that grade. (He'd still go of course, but would drop out.) He still has time to bring it up, so we'll see.
Maya is a teen with a B- average and a job in Gaming. Her LTW is for Intelligence, which requires not only a degree, but a masters as well. IF she gets enough scholarship money and saves up from her job, she just might be able to afford to go to college. If not, she'll need to complete the online degree program before pursuing a career in Intel.
Olivia is a child with an A+ average. She'll be a teen in two days.
Mari is a child with a B average. She'll also be a teen in two days.
Kyra is a child with a B+ average. She'll be a teen in four days.
Life is pretty easy for caregiver Michelle at the moment with no little ones to care for. I did notice that she's developed a crush on one of her fellow caregivers. My rule is if they fall in love with someone on their own or one of my other playables wants to have a relationship with them, I will let them become true playables and move out into their own lot, while replacing them with another former NPC.
Unit Two only has one kid: Jeremy Landgraab. The caregiver is Merlin Patch.
Jeremy just became a child this round, so there's nothing to report.
Merlin has befriended his fellow caregivers, but has not formed any romantic attachments to anyone.

Pleasantview 7/14/20
Today we'll meet Kirby Bruty, whose family is a little complicated, but so very interesting. Kirby is the plant sim son of Charles Bruty (grandson of Sandy Bruty). He has two plant brothers and five children (3 plant, 2 not). All his plant sim children are grown, but the youngest still lives with him in addition to his other two children, his long-term girlfriend Gladys, and his cousin Joshua. His oldest non-plant sim son, Ray, is from a prior relationship with Polly Picaso (also a plant sim). I really like Ray because even though he's not a plant sim, he still has some of the features, like angled brows and pointy ears. He kind of looks like Mr. Spock. Kirby has raised Ray on his own because Polly joined the commune not long after he was born. Kirby's youngest son, Kieran, is with Gladys. I should mention that Gladys has no family because she was made in CAS to run one of the "colleges" that I used before I had the Uni EP. Though they've been together a long time, they've never married, which Gladys is definitely not happy about, especially since she became an elder this round. Not to mention, she's the family's primary source of income (she's in Law Enforcement), though Dale (Kirby's plant son) also has a job as a Slacker. She's probably also not that thrilled about having to help raise Kirby's cousin, who is the son of Rosemary Bruty (Kirby's aunt), who is currently incarcerated. Joshua was the product of an affair Rosemary had with Landon Ottomas (son of Sharla). Landon is in a long-term committed relationship and was not keen on taking in his illegitimate son when Rosemary was sent to prison. Since she's not close with any of her siblings, she asked her nephew to take care of her son until she got out. She did get out briefly, during which time she lived with Kirby as well, but was sent back in for a second term after only a few days. Wow, that's a lot of backstory, lol. This round, in addition to Gladys aging up, Ray left for college (he'll be attending LFT), Joshua aged up to teen, and Kieran aged up to child.
Next up we have Erik and Tina Swain. Erik is a premade Uni sim and Tina is the daughter of Lacey Burb (daughter of Jennifer and John Burb) and Sayid Ramaswami (son of Priya and Sanjay Ramaswami). Since Tina was the result of a short-lived fling, she was raised by her mother alone and has never met her two half-brothers on her father's side. She met Erik at college and they moved back in with her mother just before she passed away. Erik is an Athlete and Tina works in Medicine. They have a toddler daughter, Katrina, and are planning to expand their family soon. They'll need to expand their house as well, since it's only a two bedroom and there's just no room for another child. Most of the yard is taken up with animal pens, because Tina's mother ran an animal shelter of sorts, in which she would adopt strays and then try to find homes for them. Tina has been too busy with her job and family to keep up with the shelter project, but maybe when she retires she'll want to pick it up again. Luckily Lacey left Tina enough money to build a nice second floor onto the house, so I'll probably work on that next round.
Finally, we have Amar and Melanie Kim. Amar is the son of Robert and Jan Kim (Jan was Robert's second wife). His brother is Justin Kim. Melanie is the daughter of Bethany Alpha (second gen spare from the Alpha Legacy) and Drake Dreamer (son of Darren and Brandi Dreamer). She has a twin sister, plus four other siblings. We met her youngest brother Jake at Briarwood Prep. Amar works in Culinary and Melanie aspires to be a Game Designer. They don't plan on having any children (they're happy being pet parents to their two cats), but that doesn't mean they won't have some at some point. There's always the possibility of abduction for Amar and Melanie might accidentally get pregnant while entertaining one of her many extramarital paramours. To be fair, Melanie didn't exactly have the best role models for fidelity growing up. Her parents were on again/off again throughout her childhood, and both continued to have multiple partners even when they were together. She probably thinks that's just how relationships work. Melanie had the day off this round, but spent most of it dealing with faulty robots (left over from when Robert was alive) that kept breaking and spewing filth or water everywhere.
That's it for now. Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/13/20
Thomas Bruty is the plant sim son of Sandy Bruty. He has four siblings and three children with his wife Elise (a former Diva): Noel (plant sim), Eve, and Ivy (plant sim). Technically Noel and Ivy are not Elise's children, as they were born only from Thomas, but I consider her to be their mother. Thomas works in Education, Elise in Law, and Noel is a Slacker. Eve is a child and Ivy a toddler. If they stay together, they plan to have one more plant baby when Ivy grows up. I say "if" because Elise has been having an affair for a while and, though Thomas doesn't know about it, his feeling towards her have degraded recently to the point where they're on the verge of divorce (if a sims relationship score with their significant other falls below 70/70 I make them break up). Thomas has a crush on another woman, but he had an outing with her this round and did not pursue any romantic interactions with her, so I don't think he's really serious about it. Elise seems to be blissfully unaware of the situation, as her score for Thomas is still strong. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens next round.
Next we have Justin Kim, son of Robert and Cynthia Kim. This family is complicated to say the least. Robert and Cynthia are now deceased, but they divorced when Justin was a teen and both remarried, providing Justin with a half-brother on each side. Justin is now an elder and he's lived a pretty colorful life, involving a number of different women simultaneously; he's not the faithful type at all. While he's lived with a few of them, he's never been married. He currently has 5 children (2 died before reaching adulthood), some are adopted, some are with the women he's been with. His oldest and youngest sons live with him. The other three kids live on their own. Justin owns the Rapid Racers Roller Rink in Pleasantview and he makes a decent living from it. His adult son Alon is a chip off the old block, running his own business (Pepe's Pets) and romancing anything that moves. He currently has one of his girlfriends living with him, Charlene Tellerman (daughter of Katie Tellerman {daughter of Jodie and Komei} and Ryker Jones {former townie}), but he hasn't even slowed down with any of the half dozen or so others. Alon has five children in total, some with his ex-wife, some the result of affairs he had while married. Charlene and Alon don't have any children together and, in fact, she wants to get married while he definitely does not. Charlene is content with the status quo at the moment, but if someone comes along who will marry her, she's likely to kick Alon to the curb. Justin's youngest son, Marcel, is just a child so he doesn't pay too much attention to the revolving door of girlfriends coming through the house. He spends most of his time teaching commands to his three dogs.

Today we have Armando Ottomas (adopted son of Sharla Ottomas, who is deceased). He has five siblings and four children. Armando is yet another vampire. Why do I have so many vampires in a row? Anyway, I've never really had a very high opinion of Armando, to be perfectly honest. His first love was Lynn Broke (one of Dustin and Angela's kids), but that ended rather quickly. He moved on with Lynn's sister Amber, which was a pretty jerk move. That also didn't work out and he eventually got back together with Lynn, got her pregnant and then immediately started cheating on her with Nadine Kim (a married woman). Lynn left him and moved to the commune where she is currently raising their daughter, who Armando has never met. Armando continued seeing Nadine, who he also fathered a child with, but since she was married her husband ended up raising the child. Next he started a relationship with a former pizza delivery woman, which lasted for a while until she found out he was still seeing Nadine and left him. At this point Armando decided he'd just adopt some children to keep him company and adopted a child and a toddler. The child (Steven, who we met earlier) he immediately shipped off to boarding school and the toddler is primarily cared for by a nanny since Armando can't be up during the day. He has plans to adopt several more children, but if he gets involved with a new lady those plans will change.
The next family has deep roots in the community. Nathan Dreamer is the son of Dirk and Lilith Dreamer. He had a sister, Summer, who died young (she was the mother of Stephen Landgraab's first two children). Nathan married Christine Tellerman (Komei and Jodie's daughter) and together they had three sets of twins: Alexis and Braden, Calvin and Delia, and Erin and Faith. Faith, sadly, died in college and Christine died of old age a while ago (Nathan turned 79 this round). After Christine's death Nathan went a little nuts and married a woman younger than all his children (Zena Goss) and they had a daughter together (Nevada). This relationship didn't last long and Nathan returned home, where his daughter Alexis still lives, with her boyfriend Alvin Broke (this is the other Alvin Broke I mentioned in the prison update) and their daughter Daphne. Alvin is the son of AJ and Darcy Broke, grandson of Sharla Ottomas and Jade and Beau Broke. Alexis has an adopted son from before she started dating Alvin and Alvin has a toddler son with another woman. Neither of them is particularly faithful, so I don't know what that'll mean for them long-term. They've been together for quite some time, so maybe that just works for them. Alexis' son Andrew is away at college right now and this round daughter Daphne decided she wanted to go to boarding school. They have more than enough money for this, so I sent her off at the end of the round. Apart from that it was pretty quiet. Alvin worked on some skills for his Adventure job, Alexis did a few makeovers (she took over her mother's home business salon when she died), and Nathan spent some time with Daphne before she left.
That's all for today. Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/11/20
Today we will visit Lila Ottomas and her son Gavin Jacquet. Lila has had an interesting past. She was initially a townie who Gilbert Jacquet hired to work as a cashier at his bakery. Gilbert was married to Mary-Sue Pleasant at the time, but that didn't stop him from pursuing Lila and having an affair with her. Since Mary-Sue was quite a bit older than Gilbert, she died not long after the affair began and Gilbert wasted no time in marrying Lila. They had three kids together: Ella and twins Gavin and Ryan. By the time the twins were born, Gilbert himself was rather old and he died when they were just babies. Let to raise three small children on her own, Lila went out and found herself a new man in the form of townie Gary Hourvitz. What Lila didn't know was that Gary was a Criminal Mastermind. He managed to avoid prison for a little while by paying for high priced lawyers, but was ultimately sentenced to 30 days. Lila was on her own again. However, before he left Gary had started restoring cars for the twins, which Lila decided to finish for them. She discovered she was quite handy with a wrench and even after the boys' cars were done, she continued to restore and sell cars for extra cash. Her kids eventually grew up and moved out and Lila dated a number of different men before deciding Keith Ottomas (son of Peter and Samantha) was the one for her. Unfortunately, she was still married to Gary, so Keith moved in and they had to wait until Gary got out for Lila to secure a divorce. They were both elders by the time they married and I expected they'd finish their lives together, but then Lila was unexpectedly bitten by a vampire* and everything changed. Keith died of old age, but Lila is still here, still restoring cars, still looking for Mr. Right. Her daughter is an elder now as well, with three kids, and her sons are less than a week away from elderhood. Gavin moved back in with Lila after his marriage broke up. He has a son (Ricky) who lives with his ex, but they're still very close. After moving home, Gavin bought the local farmer's market, which is slowly growing and beginning to turn a profit. That's good news because he had to take out a pretty hefty business loan to buy the place. Gavin hasn't given up on love (he's like his mom that way), but the women he's been dating lately haven't been too serious about settling down, so he's still looking.
*You may be wondering how so many people keep "accidentally" becoming vampires. Here's what happened. Way back when I was trying to get my first ever vampire, I read on the forums that you could do it easily by having another sim influence the Grand Vampire to bite the sim you wanted turned. I thought it sounded great and tried it out. Sure enough, it worked like a charm. What I didn't know at the time was that doing so would cause what I like to call "Vamps Gone Wild" to occur, in which the Grand Vamps bite everyone in sight every chance they get. It's not just the sims I'm controlling or even just playable sims, it's everyone from townies to NPCs, literally anyone who shows up on a Downtown lot at night is fair game. Now they don't do it constantly; it kind of comes in waves. They'll be really active for a while, then back off for a period of time, then it's back on again. Consequently, I end up leaving a household where no one is a vampire and coming back to it the next round to find someone's been vamped. Now I know it's easy enough to cure vampirism, but in Pleasantview sims have to play the cards they're dealt, so no cures for anyone. Unfortunately, my Grand Vamps seem to have sick senses of humor and especially like turning elder sims, which I hate, but I deal with it. When it comes to sims like Lila who have such interesting lives, I really don't mind that much.
Happy Simming!

Today we'll visit Heather Broke, who is the daughter of Dustin and Angela Broke. She is currently an elder, with four living siblings and four children. One of her adult children lives with her, along with his wife and son, while her two younger children live with their father, who Heather recently broke up with. She works in the Athletic career, but had the day off this round. Her son Hobart has a non-traditional career; he writes restaurant guides. I occasionally allow sims to do this, when I don't feel the career they line up with fits them or when I'm just sick of a particular career (like Culinary or Athletic). In addition, Hobart had a group outing with some of his friends, a date with his wife (he has the 50 Dream Date LTW), and completed one guide. His wife Charlotte (who is the granddaughter of Priya Ramaswami Landchild) had a group outing as well and worked on her online class. Charlotte, despite wanting to be a doctor, had terrible grades in high and didn't end up graduating. Consequently, she needed to obtain her GED online and has since been working on her degree. She finished the equivalent of her junior year this round.* Hobart and Charlotte's son Warner is only a child, so he didn't have much going on apart from going to school and doing homework.
*Here's how online school works: sims write a novel for each level of schooling they need to complete (one for GED, one for freshman year, one for sophomore year, etc.) They must pay $2500 prior to starting each novel (the money they get from selling the novel is similar to the grant money students receive in Uni, so I allow it). Sims cannot take a job in their chosen field until they have completed the necessary level of education, with the exception of careers that require a masters degree. For those, I allow them to take the job as soon as they complete the regular degree and start working in their field while completing their masters. Online students must complete two novels for a masters degree as opposed to regular Uni students who only need to complete one novel to earn a masters.
Next up, Stephen Landgraab and Tess Grundstrom. This is one of my favorite families. Stephen is the son of Malcolm and Lucy (Burb) Landgraab. He has two sisters; one of them is a vampire like him. Tess is the daughter of Sullivan and Sadie Grundstrom (former Mr. Big and Diva) and she has two siblings. Stephen and Tess have been together for a LOOONNNG time, but have never technically been married. I like to think that Tess is opposed to marriage on the grounds that her parents' marriage was all about them and never about their children. The couple has 11 children altogether. Stephen has two adult children from his first marriage (Lisa and Eric) who came to live with them after their mother died (their mother was Summer Dreamer Landgraab, daughter of Dirk and Lilith Pleasant Dreamer) and nine children with Tess (Charles, Shane, twins Dawn and Ross, twins Ray and Violet, Wesley, and twins Kate and Peter). Lisa, Eric, and Charles are all out on their own now, Shane is in prison, Dawn and Ross are in college, and the remaining five still live at home. Ray and Violet are teens, Wesley is a child, and the youngest twins become toddlers this round. Tess also became an elder, which means it's only a matter of time before this couple becomes separated by death. This round Ray and Violet both rolled the want to go to private school, but financially it's out of the question with seven college funds to keep up with and only one income (Tess is a teacher), not to mention the full time maid and the nanny that has to be hired to care for the younger kids while Tess works and Stephen sleeps during the day. Violet's want rolled away in favor of getting a job, which she did (in the Athletic career), but Ray is stubbornly holding out. They were supposed to have a family outing since it was Saturday for them, but with everything going on, plus having to wait until dark, it just didn't work out.
Next we have Aiden Broke who is the son of Dustin and Angela. He has four siblings and five children (Joel, Jordan, Cara, Jay, and Caryl). Joel lives on his own, Jordan is at Uni, Cara recently finished boarding school and moved back home, and Jay and Caryl are still at boarding school. Aiden is a retired Journalist who hasn't had much luck in love. He had his first two sons with former maid Lucy Hanby, only to have the relationship not work out. She left and took the boys with her. After that he adopted three more kids and sent them all to boarding school. He dated a bit, but never found anyone he wanted to settle down with. Recently he reunited with Lucy (she didn't find anyone else either, lol), but I doubt they'll move back in together. Cara decided not to go to Uni and moved back home to help her dad out and start an Athletic career. This round she decided to throw a party and invited some of her friends from boarding school and work. She has three bolts for Ben Tellerman who she went to school with, so I think something might develop there. In other news, ghost dog Henry (Aiden's former pet) tried his best to take Cara out and we almost lost her once, but thankfully Aiden saved her. Maybe Henry's upset that Cara brought a cat home?
Next up is Aiden's ex (and current?) Lucy Hanby. Lucy is an elder with two sons, Joel and Jordan. She also recently became a vampire, which I'm not thrilled about because I don't care for elder vampires. In any event, since Lucy will never actually reach retirement age, I've decided to have her run out her vacation time and then retire, which will allow her to sleep during the day without fear. Until recently Lucy had been "renting out" the apartment on the third floor of her home (I think I did actually have the tenant paying her via just keeping track of their individual money and transferring the rent over each week), but the woman moved out a round or two ago to live with her boyfriend. I considered moving in another tenant, but with Lucy poised to live forever now, I think I'll keep the apartment vacant until I decide whether or not Jordan will want to move back in. If he does the apartment can become Lucy's. This round Lucy didn't have much going on. She did roll a want for a puppy and if she still has it when I come back to her I'll probably let her do it since her cat is quite elderly and won't be around much longer (even though Lucy will be, grrr).
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/9/20
Today we'll be visiting the Prison where there are currently six inmates: Alvin Broke, Mason Tellerman, Rosemary Bruty, Claire Ottomas, Shane Grundstrom, and Alon Broke.
Before I fill you in on the sims who live here I should probably explain how the prison system works in Pleasantview. Anyone working in the Criminal career is subject to arrest and possible conviction every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The more money they have to pay a lawyer, the better their odds of being acquitted. If they are unlucky enough to get convicted, their sentence is 3 days x their job level, with parole being offered on a conditional basis after 2/3 of the sentence has been served. Inmates are confined to a 4x3 cell containing a couch, table, chair, toilet, shower, and trash chute. The prison warden is a Servo who has all the cell doors locked to allow him only, so that he can serve meals to the prisoners. I don't allow any other interaction between warden and inmates. So let's meet our prisoners.
Alvin Broke is the adopted son of Jade Broke (a former townie). He has five siblings and is the father of boy/girl twins who live with their mother and stepfather. There is another Alvin Broke in the neighborhood, which can be confusing, so I tend to refer to this one as "Thug Alvin" since he's a career criminal (he has the LTW to be a Criminal Mastermind), and will likely be in and out of prison for the rest of his life. This is, in fact, his second visit to the prison, where he has served 12 days of his 18 day sentence and came up for parole, which was granted. I will move him out of the prison at the beginning of next round and most likely into the homeless shelter downtown.
Mason Tellerman is the son of Brandon Tellerman and Jessie Larson (grandparents are Komei, Jodie, Darren, and Brandi). He has six siblings, three children (that he know about), and one grandchild. Mason began his life of crime fairly late in life (he finished his previous LTW) so this is first stay at the prison, despite becoming an elder this round. He was sentenced to 18 days, of which he'll need to serve 12 before being eligible for parole, and as of this round he has served four days. Though he hasn't technically been fired from his Criminal job yet, he likely will be, as most inmates do end up losing their jobs and having to start over when they get out.
Rosemary Bruty is a plant sim and the daughter of Sandy Bruty (who I made into a plant sim long ago to increase the plant sim population). She has four siblings and a young son who is currently living with her nephew. Rosemary is just beginning her second stint, having been sentenced to 18 days. This round completes her first day, so she'll be here for a while longer. Next round she'll become an elder, so she may never see the outside again.
Claire Ottomas is the teen daughter of Logan and Sharlene Ottomas (Logan is the son of Sharla; Sharlene is a former hobby lot director). She has three siblings. Claire was at boarding school when she got mixed up with the wrong crowd and began a life of crime. She was here once before already and was paroled after serving two days. This time she's been sentenced to three days and will again be up for parole after two days. She completed her first day this round. Interestingly being a Criminal is not Claire's LTW, it's just the random teen job that she took to earn extra money at boarding school. However, she wasn't in jail long enough last time to get fired, so she went back to her job upon returning home (she was expelled from Briarwood, of course), which unfortunately landed her right back here. She has still not been fired, but this should be her last time here nevertheless, as she's nearly old enough for college and will automatically lose the job upon growing up. She may not actually get into college though, since her grades are obviously tanking from not attending class. She'll likely have a long road of online classes in her future if she ever wants to become a Journalist.
Shane Grundstrom is the son of Stephen Landgraab and Tess Grundstrom (grandparents are Malcolm, Lucy, Sullivan, and Sadie). He has 10 siblings (we've met a couple of them in Uni, Ross and Dawn). Shane is a young man, just starting out in life, and not making very good choices. This is his first time here, but we'll likely see this career Criminal return again and again. He was sentenced to 3 days for pickpocketing, and will need to serve at least two before being up for parole. This round marks his first day. He has not been officially fired so he'll probably pick up where he left off as soon as he's out.
Alon Broke is the adopted son of Dylan Broke (grandparents are Dustin and Angela). He has four siblings. He was living in the homeless shelter before being convicted for the fourth time and sent here to serve a 6 day sentence with no possibility of parole. Unfortunately for Alon, he also recently became a vampire. The prison is not equipped with coffins, which meant having to survive the daylight hours on his own. He almost made it, but died of need failure just after 6 pm because he was too tired to eat and too hungry to sleep. RIP Alon.
That's all for today. Tomorrow we'll visit our first regular household in Pleasantview. Until then, Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/8/20
Today we are visiting Briarwood boys' dorm B which has five students (all teens except Steven): Steven Ottomas, Jake Alpha, Simon and Teddy Korman, and Glen Gray.
Steven Ottomas is the adopted son of Armando Ottomas (who is the adopted son of Sharla Ottomas). He has three siblings, but is the only child at Briarwood currently, which is probably a little lonely for him. Since it was Saturday, he was supposed to invite his father for a visit, but Armando is a vampire and couldn't come during the day. He may not have come anyway since the two didn't have much time to bond given that Armando sent Steven to boarding school immediately after adopting him.
Jake Alpha is the son of Drake Dreamer and Bethany Alpha (Drake is the son of Darren and Brandi Dreamer; Bethany is a second generation spare in my Alphabet Legacy* - her parents are Andrew and Aiyana Alpha). He has five siblings - all older. Since Jake wants to be a business owner, I don't have his want to go to Uni locked, but it is consistently there so he may end up going in the end. This round he did a little skilling and hung out with the other guys.
Simon and Teddy Korman are brothers (not twins). They are the sons of Alan and Brittany Korman (Alan is a former townie; Brittany is the adopted daughter of Jade Broke {also a former townie}). They also have a younger sister. They are both hardworking students who plan to attend college and until this round they were both holding down jobs as well. Simon unfortunately got fired from a bad chance card.
Glen Gray is the adopted son of Aiyana Gray (former townie). He has three siblings. Michael is also a very serious student who is planning to enter the Medical field when he grows up, so college is a must for him. He also works a part-time job to supplement his income since his mother is not wealthy and can't always afford to help him out. He got a promotion this round which was really helpful.
Finally we have the girls' dorm B which has four students: Tina Traveller, Caryl Broke, Kimberli Cox, and Madison Kim.
Tina is, of course, the daughter of Trent and Trisha Traveller. She is an only child and an orphan (I've played her parents in other 'hoods and have found them to be painfully boring, so this time I took them around to world to collect all the vacation memories, built them a beautiful house with a Bigfoot to look after it, and then killed them off - let's call it a plane crash). Tina has been at Briarwood since childhood, so she's one of the most well-rounded students skill-wise (students must earn one skill point per day). Interestingly she wants to go into the Adventure career when she grows up, maybe as some sort of homage to her long-lost parents? She won't need college for that, but she's still considering it.
Caryl Broke is the adopted daughter of Aiden Broke (son of Dustin and Angela Broke). We met two of her brothers in previous updates (Jordan Hanby and Jay Broke), plus she has two additional siblings. Caryl is planning to attend college and go into the Intelligence career. This round she spent time skilling, working at her part-time job, and hanging out with the other students.
Kimberli Cox is the adopted daughter of Hailey Cox (daughter of former townies Marion and Kennedy Cox). She has two younger brothers. Her goal is to become an Architect, so college is definitely on the agenda. This round she spent most of her time by the pool, chatting with anyone and everyone. She's quite the social butterfly.
Madison Kim has a complicated family tree. Her father is Alon Kim, who is the adopted son of Justin Kim (he's the boy in the original Kim family). Her mother is Nadine Kim, who is the adopted daughter of Jace and Heath Lothario (Jace is a former townie teen who is the son of Jon Smith Tricou; Heath is the son of Nina Caliente Lothario and Daniel Pleasant). On top of all that, Madison's parents (who are no longer together) have a number of kids with different partners, so it's hard to keep track of everyone. Simply put, she has five siblings, some she knows and some she doesn't. Madison wants to go into Politics, so college is definitely in her future.
*I sometimes like to do traditional legacies, even though the way I play is more or less legacy-style anyway. Bluewater Village is reserved for legacy families; no one else lives there, though all the shops and such remain. When I play the legacy families they follow whatever rules I've set for them rather than the Pleasantview rules, however all spares are sent to live in Pleasantview and thereafter follow the Pleasantview guidelines. Since I like to keep aging in sync, I still only play legacy families for one day at a time at the very end of the rotation, which means it takes a very long time to get through even a ten generation legacy. I've been playing the Alphas mentioned above for a very long time and we're still only up to Generation D! You'll hear a lot more about the spares and their descendants in the updates to come.
That's it for Briarwood. Tomorrow we will move to base Pleasantview, where our first household will be the Pleasantview Penitentiary. Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/7/20
Today we'll catch up with the students at Briarwood Prep, the private boarding school for children and teens. Let me give you a little background information about how it all works. If a student or their parent rolls a want for private school, this is accomplished by sending them to live at Briarwood Prep, where they live in dorms with other students (it's actually an apartment lot with four units, but I consider them all to be living in the same household), attend classes, acquire skills, and have social events. Each dorm has a Servo acting as a placeholder/caregiver for younger children. I don't do anything with the Servo other than have them conduct the headmaster visit needed to get all new students into private school; apart from that they just do whatever they want. Only students with a C average or higher can be accepted and the cost is $1000/day they will be attending, plus $3000/term in dorm fees (here a term is figured by life stage, so $3000 for their entire childhood and $3000 for their teenhood). Scholarships are also available based on the student's grade at the time of application, as well as whether they have a job or if they are an alien. All teens "graduate" high school at 8 days to Adult, at which point they are sent to Uni to either attend it or drop out and return to the regular 'hood to begin their adult lives. While they are at school, whether or not they attend class or do homework is randomized, so not everyone has an A+ all the time (children are always required to attend class and do homework since they are in danger of the Social Worker). At present I have 19 students at Briarwood (the max is 24), so it's pretty active. Incidentally, I should note that all households outside of Uni get played for one day only before moving on to the next.
First up, we'll visit girls' dorm A, where we have five students (all teens): Sydney Jacquet, Noelle Tellerman, Clarissa and Cybil Fancey, and Amy Broke.
Sydney is the daughter of Ella Jacquet Ottomas and Zack Tellerman. You may recall meeting her older brother Austin who is in college (see 7/2/20). She has a total of four siblings between her parents (Austin is her only full sibling). This round was Sydney's last day at Briarwood because she graduated with a B average and left for LFT. She spent her last day acquiring one last skill point and working one last shift at her job. Since it was Saturday (a day reserved for child sims to invite their parents to visit) the rest of her day was free for socialization and recreation. Next round Sydney will begin her freshman year at LFT.
Noelle Tellerman is the adopted daughter of Katie Tellerman. We met her brother Blake in yesterday's update. Noelle has a while yet before she'll graduate, but she'll definitely be attending Uni when she does because she's looking to pursue a Journalism career, which is one of the careers that sims need a degree for.* Since she doesn't have a job, Noelle spent her time relaxing this round.
Clarissa and Cybil Fancey, as you may have guessed, are twins. Their parents are Luc Young and Melissa Fancey (both former townies). They have a full brother, Jason, and two younger siblings (boy/girl twins) on their mother's side. Their mother left their father when they were fairly young, got involved with Goopy GilsCarbo for about five minutes, and now she lives in the homeless shelter with the younger twins. Luckily Clarissa and Cybil (and Jason) were able to live with their father, who has a much more stable lifestyle. At the moment both girls are planning to attend college, though neither actually needs to*, so we'll wait and see what happens with that. Cybil went to work, while Clarissa caught up on homework this round.
Amy Broke was a new student this round. Amy is the daughter of Annabeth (Broke) Copur and Abhijeet Deppiesse (Annabeth is the daughter of Beau and Jade Broke; Abhijeet is a former townie). Her mother is still alive and recently got married, but her father is deceased. She has one older sister on her father's side, who she barely knows. Since she's new here, Amy spent most of her time getting to know the other students.
Next up we have the boys' dorm A with five students as well (all teens): Jay Broke, Leo and Max Deppiesse, Aaron GilsCarbo, and Julian Delarosa.
Jay Broke is the adopted son of Aiden Broke (son of Dustin and Angela Broke). We met his brother Jordan Hanby in a previous update (see 6/30/20 #2). In addition to Jordan, Jay has another brother and two sisters. Since Jay is planning a career in Intelligence, for which he will need a masters degree*, his college want is locked in. He still has a few more days before he's ready to head to Uni though, so he spent this round doing a little skilling and hanging out with other students.
Leo and Max Deppiesse are the twin sons of Dylan Broke and Claire Deppiesse (Dylan is the son of Dustin and Angela Broke; Claire is a former Diva). The boys have an older sister on their mother's side and two older brothers plus a younger sister on their father's side. They are also Jay's cousins. Max's Uni want is locked since he needs a degree for Journalism, but Leo is not currently planning to go since he doesn't need a degree to be an Athlete.* They both have teen jobs and coincidentally they both reached the top levels of those jobs this round.
Aaron GilsCarbo is the son of Marylena Hamilton GilsCarbo and Goopy GilsCarbo (both former townies). We met Aaron's older sister Gabriella Hamilton yesterday. In addition, Aaron has a twin brother Garrett and 8 other siblings. That's 11 altogether. FYI, Goopy really gets around, lol. Aaron is new to Briarwood this round, but he started if off with a bang. He got a chance card promotion at his job, which led to him coming home early enough that he went back to his job for a second shift, during which he got another chance card that scored him $100. All told he made $480. Aaron does not have Uni locked, as he's planning to have 5 Top Businesses, and does not need to attend.* He did roll the want briefly, but then it rolled away, so he's considering I guess.
Finally, we have Julian Delarosa who is the son of Florence and Renaud Delarosa (Renaud is a former townie who I made take Florence's last name for some reason which I can no longer remember). His parents are no longer together and he has a younger brother on his father's side. Julian didn't have much going on this round, as he's also new and doesn't have a teen job. He does, however, have his Uni want locked because he's planning to become a Scientist which requires a masters degree.*
*All jobs are classified into one of four categories: Needs No Education, Needs a High School Diploma, Needs a College Degree, or Needs a Masters Degree. Sims are not allowed to work in jobs for which they have not attained the proper level of education. As stated, high school students' grades depend on random decisions about attending class or doing homework, so whether or not they graduate depends on their grade at 8 days to Adult (I consider a D as failing since I never let them fall below that because the game won't let teens move to Uni with an F). If they don't pass high school, they can't go to college (though they still go just to drop out and become adults). In addition, students need to have the want to go to college. For students who need a degree for their desired career, I will lock the want to go to Uni if it rolls up; for student who don't need the degree, I don't lock it until they have graduated high school. Therefore, some students who need college don't get accepted or choose not to go and others who don't need it sometimes choose to go anyway. Luckily for those who don't attend college, but need to, I have an online degree program which allows adults to get their GED and/or their college degree in their spare time.
That's it for today. We still have two more dorms at Briarwood to get through. Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/6/20
Today we are catching up with the Lam Plaza Dorm which has two residents: Lucas Broke and Gabriella Hamilton.
Lucas is the son of Beau and Calista Broke (Calista was a former nanny). He has two much older siblings from his father's first marriage. Since he was adopted when his parents were already elders, they both died when he was still a child. His older brother AJ became his guardian, but they've never been particularly close. Lucas is, however, very close to AJ's daughter Savannah who is technically his niece, but since they're so close in age is more like a cousin. Lucas' parents were quite wealthy so he's been able to pay for Uni with no problem. This round Lucas is a first term senior, majoring in Art with the intention of becoming a Journalist. Next round he will complete his senior year and graduate.
Gabriella Hamilton is the daughter of Gabe Landry and Marylena Hamilton GilsCarbo, who were both former townies. She has three older sisters on her dad's side, two full brothers, and three younger brothers on her mom's side. Marylena was Gabe's third "wife"* and after his death Marylena married Goopy GilsCarbo. Gabi doesn't really know her older sisters very well, so most of her life has been spent dealing with her numerous brothers. Poor girl. This round Gabi is a first term freshman, majoring in Art and planning to be an Architect. Financially she's doing ok, she has a little money towards future semesters, but it will likely run out by sophomore or junior year, at which point she'll begin using student loans. Next round she'll finish her freshman year.
*I say "wife" because they were technically not married due to a glitch which caused Gabe's first marriage bond (to Dina Caliente Goth Landry) not to break when she died. So, while he should have been married to Kendal Greaves and then Marylena Hamilton, he actually wasn't, resulting in his older three adopted daughters showing Dina as their mother in the family tree instead of Kendal and his three kids with Marylena having the last name Hamilton instead of Landry.
Next up is Casteroff Dorm where there are two residents: Darius Goss and Dawn Grundstrom.
Darius Goss is the alien son of Jay Goss (a former townie I moved in with the purpose of getting more alien sims into my game). As the result of an alien abduction, Darius has many siblings, but the ones he knows best are the ones he grew up with, Zena and Xander. Darius is the youngest of the three and their father is deceased. This round he's a second term sophomore, majoring in Math and planning to become a Gamer. With no parent left to help out, he's relying entirely on student loans. Next round he'll begin his junior year.
Dawn Grundstrom is the daughter of Stephen Landgraab and Tess Grundstrom, as well as the twin sister of Ross Grundstrom who we met earlier (see the first Pleasantview entry on 6/30/20). She has many siblings, but her parents are still doing their best to contribute to their children's educations. Nevertheless, attending the most expensive school in Pleasantview is taking its toll on her finances and she's sinking into debt fairly quickly. This round Dawn is a first term sophomore, majoring in Biology with the intent to enter the Medical field. Next round she'll be finishing her sophomore year.
Finally we have Mille House Dorm, the final household in ALT, which has two residents: Savannah Broke and Blake Tellerman.
Savannah Broke is the adopted daughter of AJ Broke (AJ is the son of Beau and Jade Broke {Jade is a former townie}). She has four siblings and is Lucas' niece (see above). While she's close to her father and Lucas (who she grew up with), she doesn't have much of a relationship with her brothers and sisters because they are all quite a bit older than she is. This round Savannah is a first term sophomore, majoring in Economics for a future career in Intelligence. She's doing fine financially, as her father is still living in her Grandpa Beau's big house and spending her Uncle Lucas' inheritance. Next round she'll finish her sophomore year.
Blake Tellerman is the adopted son of Katie Tellerman (daughter of Komei and Jodie Tellerman). He has six siblings, most of whom are also adopted. Despite being single for most of her adult life and raising so many children on her own, Katie is fairly well off and Blake is not struggling financially. This round he is a second term freshman, majoring in Physics and planning on a career in Science. Next round he'll begin his sophomore year.
That completes all three Universities and we'll be moving on to Briarwood Preparatory Academy next. This is a private boarding school which I built for all my private school kids (private school is also not free) which is technically an apartment with four units, but I consider all the kids to be living in the same household with separate living quarters. More on Briarwood tomorrow when I have the first update. Until then, Happy Simming!
