Pleasantview 6/28/26

Sabastian Broke (see PV 8/26/25) reached the top of the Science career!  He celebrated by (once again) stargazing the night away, in the hopes of being abducted, but he was (once again) disappointed.  Geoffrey continued to plug away at his skills, but his pregnancy is really hampering his efforts.  His baby is due next round.

Weldon Smith (see PV 8/26/25) got promoted on his first day of work.  He was otherwise uneventful.

Mira Leong (see PV 8/26/25) talked things over with her friend (and technically sister) Sage Dreamer and decided to move in with her boyfriend Scott Landgraab.  I know Scott's apartment is pretty small, so I may have to move them somewhere larger.  Riley welcomed a new tenant, Ross Grundstrom, thinking he would fill the final room vacancy, but she didn't plan on Mira moving out, so now she needs another boarder.  Ross was unable to find a job in his desired career of Dance, so he took Entertainment for now.

The plant sim lot (see PV 8/26/25) was uneventful.

Stella Terrano and her boyfriend Erik Tomyoy moved into a small rental house and adopted a cat.  Erik was unable to find a job in Slacker; he'll keep searching.  They did get a job for the cat, so that will be helpful in the meantime.  Stella gave birth and as planned, the baby was relinquished to the orphanage, after which she worked on skills needed for her job.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/27/26

Calvin Dreamer (see PV 8/25/25) got a promotion at work and threw a roof raiser, which is very rare for my game, especially in apartments.  He got to bed just before the sun rose.

Dagmar Grundstrom (see PV 8/25/25) went out with friends, but still didn't find a suitable job.

Sooo...some things went down in the Sharpe/Indie household (see PV 8/26/25).  Everything was progressing smoothly at first - the guys went off to work, Mitch came home early with a promotion and invited a friend over to hang out, and Edwin returned from work and went back to skilling.  Then the babies were born - yes, BABIES - and I had to scramble to figure out a way to squeeze in two cribs. (They were girls, btw, Kendall and Kestrel.)  No sooner had I got everyone settled, than Edwin's thumbnail disappeared and, upon inspection, I discovered he was dying of the mysterious disease that's been going around for real life years in my game.  This was quite the turn of events, as I've been waiting for Delilah to choose one of these guys, but she's continued to string them along.  I guess Fate was tired of waiting and took matters into her own hands.  I suppose Mitch and Delilah are now an official couple, now that Edwin is out of the way, so maybe they'll get married and raise their girls together without further drama.  Time will tell.

DJ and Calista Verse (see PV 8/26/25) decided to adopt a baby!  It will likely be their only child as, per my rules, Romance sims are very unlikely to want children, but I'm okay with that.  They were able to cordon off a corner of the living room for the crib and changing table, but they won't be able to make this house work long-term.  They're definitely going to need a bigger place soon.

Max Flexor (see PV 8/26/25) had a somewhat better day.  He got demoted at work due to poor performance, but it gave him time to bring some of his needs up before heading out with friends.  The outing was a bust because two of his friends did nothing but fight the entire time, but at least his needs didn't take too great a hit.  Upon returning home, he rested up a bit, then did a quick job search, finding Politics and immediately gaining the career reward podium.  He did not get a chance to finish his degree, but he's in a much better mood at the end of the round than he was at the start, so I'm calling it a win.

Brandon GilsCarbo (see PV 8/26/25) got promoted and Goopy got fired when he was just one promotion away from the top.  At the end of the round, I moved them out to a bigger place.  Goopy will become an elder next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/14/26

Maura Wong (see PV 8/25/25) scored another promotion; now she'll have a couple days off to rest up a bit.  Matthew still hasn't been promoted.  The kids were largely on their own, as usual, but Maura did take a few minutes to help Bradley with his homework, which is the most parenting we've seen from either one of these two in quite some time.  She also got a cleaning point, which just leaves one cleaning point to go.  Next round, Constance and the twins will grow up.

Andrzej Landgraab (see PV 8/25/25) had the day off, which was spent mostly working on skills for his next promotion, though he and Stacy did take a little time out for themselves - they had a nice soak in the hot tub, which resulted in a lullaby.  They can probably continue to make their apartment work for a bit longer, even with three kids, but any more than that and they'll have to start thinking about getting a bigger place.

Sophie Young and Eric Parker (see PV 8/25/25) had a pretty quiet Sunday.  They worked on some things around the apartment and then Sophie went off to work and got promoted, while Eric did some stargazing.

Clarence and Tracy Ramirez (see PV 8/25/25) were able to get their relationship back on track by way of a bowling date.  After a long day of tag-teaming childcare, cleaning, and work, they hired a nanny and headed out for some much-needed R&R.  A steamy encounter in the photo booth resulted in a lullaby, which will no doubt make their lives happier, but more complicated.  In other news, Tracy got promoted and Clarence earned the necessary skills for a promotion.  They'll both have next round off though and can, hopefully, rest up a bit before the new baby arrives.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/13/26

AJ Broke (see PV 8/25/25) ran his business, as usual, and it gained stars but lost money, as usual.  Gloria had her first pop and started her maternity leave.  Xander failed to find a job in Journalism.

In a shocking turn of events, Jan Tellerman (see PV 8/25/25) decided to move one of her boy toys (Dale Bruty) in with her.  It's probably really going to cramp her style, but we'll see how things go, I guess.  May she's trying to reform?  Probably not lol.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/1/26

Joshua Ruben (see PV 8/24/25) continued not to find a job in Dance; he did, however, max his body skill, which will help him get promoted in Athletic (and be good for Dance at some point, if he ever finds it).

Ratna Platz has moved into the apartment that was recently vacated by Nick and Yvette Broke.  He had enough money for a few decent furnishings, but the place is still a little sparse.  Since he's already at the top of his job and his LTW is to earn $100K, he didn't have much to do except repeatedly clean the toilet that the neighbors were constantly running in and throwing up in (who does that?).  Next round he'll go to work and, hopefully, have something more interesting to report.

Rose and Nerissa Gregory (see PV 8/24/25) became parents to a toddler named Raven this round, which took up most of their non-working hours, so neither had time to work on their LTW's.  They're also both still sick, so the struggle is real, but they couldn't be happier about the new addition to their family.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 5/31/26

Calista Copur (see PV 8/21/25) got a promotion at work, and had the intention of inviting some people over, but her work schedule interfered with her plans, so she opted for a good night's sleep instead.

Frances Worthington (see PV 8/21/25) got a promotion and worked on skills; Marion went out with some friends.

Almeric Davis (see PV 8/21/25) got a promotion but, unfortunately, most of his bonus had to go towards buying a new bed for Hope, who grew up this round, so the rent remains unpaid.  The new baby will arrive next round.

The Ottomas twins, Eliza and Gideon, settled into their new apartment, had some friends over, and both found the jobs they wanted.

Checo Ramirez (see PV 8/21/25) has, at long last, passed away at the age of 70.  He didn't always have the easiest life - he had to work very hard to get his furniture business up and running, which caused his first marriage to suffer and end in divorce.  He did, however, remain close to his two children, Tessa and Clarence, as well as his stepson Rusty; sadly, he won't get the chance to meet his youngest, who won't be born till next round.  Farewell Checo.

Orlando Bertino (see PV 8/21/25) got promoted and then had some friends over.  Teri brought her grades up a bit and mourned the loss of their elderly dog Bailey.

The Philippines (see PV 8/22/25) welcomed twins this round, Damon and Fallon.  Their apartment is still okay for the time being, but once the kittens are born (or should Erin get pregnant again), they'll need to find something bigger.

Renaud Delarosa (see PV 8/22/25) had the day off; Brooke worked, then had her first pop.  Next round, Renaud should get promoted to the top of Science and roll his new LTW.

Heather Huffington (see PV 8/24/25) finally found a job in Music; she'll start next round.  Martin had the day off and didn't have much going on.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 5/30/26

Nick Broke and Yvette Kim moved into their new home and decided to finally tie the knot.  Nick got a promotion and two of the three girls grew up, eldest Kiara into a teen (with a LTW for Slacker) and youngest Veronica into a toddler.  They also adopted a kitten to keep Marie company.  The only fly in the ointment is that Yvette still has not found a job in Journalism.

Lois Tellerman (see PV 8/18/25) gave birth to a baby girl who she named Ashley (side note: Ashley's father Joshua Ruben now has two daughters named Ashley, neither of whom he'll be raising; this was an oversight on my part, but hey, at least they have different last names!)  Luckily for Lois, Cheryl also grew into a child this round, so she'll still just have one baby to deal with.  She made some (minimal) progress on cleaning up the house but still has a long way to go.  She'll have plenty of vacation time to work on it, but financially that's not ideal, especially since she had to shell out money to furnish Cheryl's bedroom.  She really needs to get back to work, though I don't know if that would really help her since she's always in a terrible mood and would be more likely to get fired than promoted.

It looks like Cole and Brittany Long have been played in their new home for a day already, but I didn't write about them for some reason?  Idk what happened, here's their update for this round:  the (somewhat) controlled chaos continued with both parents having the day off, but still barely keeping up with childcare, pet care, and household chores.  Cole did manage to earn one skill point he needs, teach Kane to study, and bathe the dog, while Brittany potty trained Justin, but was too tired to work on her master's.  Their fourth child is due next round.

Russell Broke (see PV 8/19/25) scored a promotion at work, while Logan and Trudi spent the day at home doing housework and, in Trudi's case, resting up for the impending birth of their baby daughter, Traci.  Russell completed the next part of his degree and worked a bit on skills; Trudi was unable to make any progress on either.  I decided on a career in Journalism for Gigi, primarily because she has a Knowledge secondary, but also because both her parents have been struggling for most of her life, trying to balance working in Athletic careers, trying to earn their degrees in order to pursue Journalism, and simultaneously raising a family.  I feel like they'd want her to take the "easier" path of going to Uni, obtaining her degree, and going straight into Journalism, rather than follow the circuitous route they've undertaken.

No sooner had Marie and Andrew Gergis moved into their new home, than they decided to expand their family, both with a new cat and a new baby.  Andrew went to work, got a skill point he needed, and finished his GED; he'll start working on his degree next round.

Laura Tellerman (see PV 8/19/25) got into SSU and, with a scholarship and a little (very little lol) help from her mom, was able to pay for the first semester.  Claire will continue saving up for her own degree while trying to add to Jesse's and, eventually, Nolan's college funds as well.

Zena Dreamer (see PV 8/19/25) spent her day off on household chores and skilling, while Nevada went shopping with some friends (she has three bolts for Lawson Shahan!)  Incidentally, she rolled the LTW to top Intelligence.

A lot was going on at the Rusewicz home (see PV 8/20/25).  Jace took another vacation day and tried making some medicine, but it doesn't seem to have helped his condition.  The twins had a birthday party, aging up to teens.  They both have the LTW to top Culinary, despite being quite different in personality - I guess they're like opposite sides of the same coin?  Anyway, in the middle of the party, Nancy gave birth to a baby girl, Wendy.  She was also able to get her Athletic job back, so she can get back on track now.  Next round, Marshall will finish high school and, perhaps, go off to college.

Happy Simming!
