Pleasantview 8/3/26

 Noah Latte (see PV 9/7/25) went out shopping with his mom after work and then had his third first date, which was just okay, but what more can you expect from random first dates?

Jessie Pilferson (see PV 9/7/25) adopted a cat since last time, so she spent the day getting all the necessary supplies and cleaning up a bit before work.  She got promoted again and looked for Music after midnight, but it still hasn't appeared.

In the Larson/Greaves/Goss household (see PV 9/8/25) there was quite a bit of good luck to go around.  Darius went out with some friends and one of them pulled strings and got him a promotion to the top of the Gamer career, completing his LTW; his new LTW is to top Law, for which he'll need a master's degree, so he signed up for classes right away.  While being a Game Designer is fun, he feels he needs a more serious job now that he and Alyssa are expecting their first child.  After midnight, both the ladies checked the computer and, much to my surprise, their desired jobs were the first and second picks!  It honestly could not have been a better round for this bunch..............or at least that's what would have happened if the game hadn't crashed on the save. 😢 *Sigh* Pride goeth before a fall.  I'll play again tomorrow and see if I can accomplish any of that again. 😞

Pleasantview 8/2/26

 Will Bruty and company (see PV 9/6/25) were kind of a nightmare to play.  They crashed the first time I played and I had to basically start over, then the second time it glitched and wouldn't allow me to save, so I lost half the day and had to replay, then it crashed to desktop when I was just wrapping up some finances and I had to reload, go back in, buy some junk for inventory and save again.  Each time I played, different things happened, but I think this is the gist of it.  Will, Quinn, and Ella all got promoted.  Ben grew into an adult with a LTW for 20 Lovers and took a job in Slacker.  Anna had a first date, as well as a date with Chad Whippler, who called unexpectedly.  Ella has still not found a Gamer job.  And Will and Elle decided to adopt a baby, who I hope arrives next round, as I decided that I would move their growing family out, rather that Quinn.  They'll be buying a house somewhere TBD.

Emily Lee (see PV 9/7/25) got a promotion and worked on skills.  She also decided to move her boyfriend, Tom Freshe, in with her, which we'll see next round.

Jasper Roseland (see PV 9/7/25) decided the time was right to move his girlfriend Allison in.  He's already thinking about marriage (despite being Romance), but she's not quite there yet (despite being Family), so that's weird lol.  We'll see what happens.

Gunnar and Jasmine (see PV 9/7/25) paid off their student loans finally, so that's a load off.  However, their relationship is not looking too healthy.  They had a huge fight, after which Gunnar went out to a club to blow off some steam, and didn't feel a bit guilty about woohooing Melanie Kim (not that he ever feels particularly guilty, lol).

Pleasantview 8/1/26

 Arianna Bruty (see PV 9/5/25) spent a quiet day at home with her daughter.

Guy Wrightley (see PV 9/5/25) got a promotion at work and then went off to his business, where he made a small amount of money and earned a few stars.  Upon returning home, he finally had enough cash to buy a few meager furnishings, though I didn't let him go too crazy, as he has loan payments coming up in a few days.

Ben Tellerman (see PV 9/6/25) had the day off and used it to get the body point he needs and have some friends over.  Tyler went to work and got a chance card bonus, but no promotion.

Roxie and Phineaus (see PV 9/6/25) had purchased a dog while I was away from them and, between the supplies needed for her and the rent payment, the couple was nearly broke.  Luckily, they both went to work and Phineaus earned a promotion, so they're all good now.

Pleasantview 7/31/26

 Chaz Whippler (see PV 9/4/25) did not get promoted, but Tom and Joel did.  Caryl is still on maternity leave.  In other news, Joel and Caryl decided to tie the knot before the baby comes.  I will likely move them into a place of their own next round.

Pleasantview 7/30/26

 Meredith Landgraab (see PV 9/3/25) retired from her job, Colton wanted to join his older sister at boarding school, and Jessie finished the first section of his online degree.  Next round, Whitney will graduate and Jessie and Meredith will officially become empty nesters (unless Jessie's continued obsession with the telescope leads to interesting consequences lol).

The Custer/Grundstrom/Broke/and now Wong household (see PV 9/4/25) was a huge pain in the butt to play.  Firstly, it crashed several times, to the point that I had to move them out and back in again.  Then, when I tried to move the puppies inside using move_objects, they (of course) got glitched and I had to delete them, necessitating another exiting and re-entering the household.  And finally, because Patrick Wong was set to move in with Delilah, I had to exit out again after dark, to make sure he didn't get burned to a crisp upon moving in.  It was all very headache-inducing, but hopefully from here on out they'll play more smoothly.  In terms of the actual round, apart from Mark getting fired from his job, nothing of note occurred.

Pleasantview 7/9/26

 Amy Shahan (see PV 8/28/25) retired from her job and bought a birthday cake for Jackson, who grew into a child.  He got a puppy for a present and his sister's old room got a refresh so he could move into it.

Klara Vonderstein (see PV 8/28/25) didn't have much going on.  She went to work and then went out with some friends.

Shanna Copur (see PV 8/29/25) made a small sum at the shop.  I've honestly never had a sim struggle so much to keep a business afloat.  She currently has no clothing stocked, but sells all her jewelry on a daily basis, as well as some perfume, so she's just barely keeping her head above water.  She's able to pay the rent, but there's no extra for college funds for the boys.  Phillip will be graduating next round and he's hoping to go to Uni, but no guarantees that'll happen.

The Novas (see PV 8/30/25) worked, adopted a third kitten, and Jane got her first pop.

The Williamsons and Matthew Hart (see PV 9/3/25) all had the day off, which was spent doing a whole lot of nothing.  I think Blossom and William's baby is due next round.

Eric Landgraab (see PV 9/3/25) adopted a cat, went shopping with his cousin Delia and friend James, and made some objects with his cauldron.

Meadow Shahan (see PV 9/3/25) went to work and did some skilling.

Kevin Beare invited some friends over to check out his new place, adopted an elderly cat, got a promotion at work, and worked on some skills before bed.  It was a pretty productive day.

Pleasantview 6/29/26

 The Seifert family (see PV 8/27/25) had a much better round this time.  Cooper got a promotion at work, while Elise stayed home with the twins.  The older kids invited some friends over to play.  The house was chaos as usual but in the midst of it all, Cooper and Elise grew closer, repairing their relationship damage.  Next round the twins will age up to toddler and the madness will continue.

Marie Bruty (see PV 8/27/25) got a promotion and then had her first pop.  She'll have plenty of time on maternity leave to work on her skills.  Goopy invited Michelle on yet another date, during which they tried for baby twice, but no lullaby.  Goopy seems determined to make Michelle his next baby mama (his fifth baby mama btw lol) and Michelle seems equally determined not to oblige him.

Patrick Wong (see PV 8/27/25) got a promotion and then decided to move in with his girlfriend Delilah Custer, leaving Devin to hold down the fort alone.

Pamela Broke (see PV 8/28/25) got a promotion at work - she just needs one more I think to reach the top of Education.  Kyra again rolled the want to go to private school at virtually the same time as her mother decided to adopt a baby.  So, the way I see it is Kyra hasn't bonded with her mother at all because she holds a grudge against her for giving her up as a baby, but she's happy to get whatever financial support she can from her, hence going off to boarding school (and later college) on her mom's dime, while refusing to have a relationship with her.  (She has bonded with her father Braden, however, which I suppose is because she doesn't blame him, as he didn't know about her.)  Pamela realizes that she can't undo the damage she's done and, instead, has decided to go for the do-over.  Though she's financially secure at this point, she did age up to elder this round, so it's going to be a challenge starting over with an infant.  It does make for an interesting family dynamic though, so I'm all for it.
