Pleasantview 9/6/26 Gouda Legacy

 Brie Gouda (see PV 9/21/25) continued painting for income and befriending sims, in order to teach them the ways of Goudentology.  Her first convert is likely to be AJ Broke; since he's playable, he won't be moving onto the compound, rather he'll practice his faith in other ways.  Of course, that could change, since Brie is played at the very end of the rotation and has plenty of time to show up on community lots to befriend sims before she's even played.  It's still early days for this legacy.

And that's it for Pleasantview!!  I have played three rounds (over the course of nearly a year and a half) and I'm ready to move on.  I think I'll be heading to the Royal Kingdom because I've added some new things to the rules there and I'm excited to try them out.  It'll be a bit before the first post though because I need to do some cleanup/recordkeeping for PV and then rewrite the RKC rules to make them more cohesive than all the notes/scribbles/edited printouts I currently have.

Pleasanview 9/5/26 Alpha and Latte Legacies

 The Alphas (see PV 9/20/25) got through the final day of the work week relatively unscathed.  They hired a butler, which helped immensely, as Betty was able to focus primarily on the business.  Everyone got their needs (if not their aspirations) up, Charity taught Dante to study, Danica leveled up her gardening badge and chatted with future husband Derek, Dallas got caught up on homework, and everyone began the process of getting the store restocked, in preparation for the next work week.

Joy Latte (see PV 9/20/25) gave birth to her second child, a boy named Nicholas and then got to work at the cafe while not pregnant for once.  She made pretty good money but had to spend some of it on groceries.  Upon her return home, she and Peter tried for their third and final child, which was successful.  The family is nearly halfway to their savings goal of $45,000, which is what they will need to purchase the cafe.

Pleasantview 8/5/26

 At the homeless shelter (see PV 9/9/25):

Everyone had the day off.

Andrzej Greaves will likely only have one more round, as his bar is nearly full.

Ricky Cormier will age up to elder next time.

Monica Bratford got arrested, convicted, and sentenced to 6 days in prison.  Since she only had a small amount left on her student loan debt, I went ahead and had her pay it off early, before being shipped off to jail.

Dale Futa did not find a job in Law Enforcement.

Maya Tellerman moved in and took a Slacker job.  Her LTW is for Intelligence, but she'll need to invest in some higher education for that.  For now, she has to work on getting out of the shelter.

End homeless shelter.

Sage Dreamer (see PV 9/10/25) was kind of a mess really.  She was sick all day, despite having the day off to get well.  In the evening, she was supposed to have a date, but I mistakenly sent her out with a guy I thought was still a townie, but actually became playable recently (hence my forgetfulness) and is definitely gay (my bad).  Anyway, I ended the date immediately, but then she still needed a real date, so I had to send her to another lot to buy a cell phone, so she could invite someone out, but then the game crashed and I had to reload, so she just invited the guy over for a home date, but her needs were so low that it didn't go that well and, honestly, I wasn't that invested in it anyway at that point, so I'm just chalking it all up to stupidity and we'll figure something out next round.  She was at least able to get her mood up enough to get the charisma point she needs, so at least the day wasn't completely wasted.  Her apartment is trashed though, so she'll likely spend the weekend trying to clean and rest before work on Monday.

Charles Grundstrom and girlfriend Chloe Despret (see PV 9/10/25) tied the knot this round.  They both had the day off; Charles worked on skills and taught Robert to study.  Chloe spent most of the day cleaning and sleeping.  The baby is due next round.

Alan Korman (see PV 9/10/25) did NOT get his promotion because four seconds before he got out of his car, he lost Delilah Sharpe as a friend. 😒 Anyway, he had friends over again and did some skilling.  (I feel like he's always got sims over, but somehow he barely has any friends.  What's that about?)  Maybe next round will be better.

Pleasantview (8/4/26)

 In Take Two of the Greaves/Larson/Goss household (see PV 9/8/25 & yesterday 😒) Darius still got promoted to the top of his career, but this time rolled the new LTW of topping Athletic, which is not as impressive as Law, but he won't need further education, so that's something, I guess.  He and Alyssa are still expecting, but no one found their desired jobs.  I really should have known better than to start typing the recap before it saved.  Ah well, could have been worse.

Isabelle Greaves (see PV 9/9/25) worked, went out with friends, adopted a dog, failed to find Athletic, and, in a surprising turn of events, moved in with David Ottomas.  I thought David was a confirmed bachelor for life!  It may turn out to be a disaster for a Family sim like Isabelle, but who knows?  We'll find out next round.

Upon entering Morgan Alpha's apartment (see PV 9/9/25), I discovered she did indeed have two vacation days available somehow, so I had her spend the day at home resting.  She was throwing up a lot due to the mysterious disease, and the pregnancy certainly wasn't making things any easier for her, but she made it through the day fairly well.  Next round, she'll give birth.

Martin Dreamer (see PV 9/9/25) earned a substantial amount at the gym, after he ranked up and got a money perk.  Greg had the day off, which he spent taking care of Helen until she grew into an adult, rolling the LTW to Earn $100k.  For various reasons, I decided she will pursue the Athletic career, but it was not available, so she'll have to keep looking.  Plant sim life phases are so strange, lol.  It's entirely possible that Martin could become a grandfather next round, if Helen decides to spawn a plant baby. 😲

And the surprises continue in the Pitts household (see PV 9/9/25).  Yet another confirmed bachelor, Ashley, decided not only to move in one of his girlfriends (Professor Pamela Zhang), but also to MARRY HER!!😮😲 What?!  I don't know if it was an impulsive, heat of the moment, kind of decision or if it was more calculated, given she brought in $16,000, but I'm floored either way lol.  Another interesting thing I noticed when checking Pam's relationship panel is that she's literally in love with every sim she's ever met.  I've never seen this happen before; I've moved professors in before and they've had a lot of acquaintances, but never been in love with everyone before, so idk what that's about.  In any event, given he's got a number of love interests as well, their marriage is likely to turn into a dumpster fire sooner, rather than later.  I'm totally okay with that lol.😄 With their financial windfall, I decided they should move to Pleasant Valley, where they'll be played next round.

Melissa Fancey (see PV 9/9/25) got a promotion and Dalton worked as well, so they are very slowly furnishing their meager apartment.  Cheyenne's grades went up enough to look for a job, but it wasn't there.  Next round the twins will graduate (maybe) and age up (definitely), so they'll be ready to start their adulthood, and Melissa will, at long last, be free of parenting responsibilities.

Jared Starchild (see PV 9/9/25) worked and went out with friends.  He was in a pretty bad mood most of the round, however, so didn't get much skilling done.

Zoe Bruty (see PV 9/9/25) got a promotion, worked on some skills, and spent some time socializing.

Jimmy Phoenix (see PV 9/9/25) got a big bonus at work, which will allow the family to move into a bigger place, where the kids can have their own room, rather than having to share with their father.

Bryce Futa (see PV 9/9/25) got a promotion, worked on skills, cleaned his apartment, and worked on his degree.

Pleasantview 8/3/26

 Noah Latte (see PV 9/7/25) went out shopping with his mom after work and then had his third first date, which was just okay, but what more can you expect from random first dates?

Jessie Pilferson (see PV 9/7/25) adopted a cat since last time, so she spent the day getting all the necessary supplies and cleaning up a bit before work.  She got promoted again and looked for Music after midnight, but it still hasn't appeared.

In the Larson/Greaves/Goss household (see PV 9/8/25) there was quite a bit of good luck to go around.  Darius went out with some friends and one of them pulled strings and got him a promotion to the top of the Gamer career, completing his LTW; his new LTW is to top Law, for which he'll need a master's degree, so he signed up for classes right away.  While being a Game Designer is fun, he feels he needs a more serious job now that he and Alyssa are expecting their first child.  After midnight, both the ladies checked the computer and, much to my surprise, their desired jobs were the first and second picks!  It honestly could not have been a better round for this bunch..............or at least that's what would have happened if the game hadn't crashed on the save. 😢 *Sigh* Pride goeth before a fall.  I'll play again tomorrow and see if I can accomplish any of that again. 😞

Pleasantview 8/2/26

 Will Bruty and company (see PV 9/6/25) were kind of a nightmare to play.  They crashed the first time I played and I had to basically start over, then the second time it glitched and wouldn't allow me to save, so I lost half the day and had to replay, then it crashed to desktop when I was just wrapping up some finances and I had to reload, go back in, buy some junk for inventory and save again.  Each time I played, different things happened, but I think this is the gist of it.  Will, Quinn, and Ella all got promoted.  Ben grew into an adult with a LTW for 20 Lovers and took a job in Slacker.  Anna had a first date, as well as a date with Chad Whippler, who called unexpectedly.  Ella has still not found a Gamer job.  And Will and Elle decided to adopt a baby, who I hope arrives next round, as I decided that I would move their growing family out, rather that Quinn.  They'll be buying a house somewhere TBD.

Emily Lee (see PV 9/7/25) got a promotion and worked on skills.  She also decided to move her boyfriend, Tom Freshe, in with her, which we'll see next round.

Jasper Roseland (see PV 9/7/25) decided the time was right to move his girlfriend Allison in.  He's already thinking about marriage (despite being Romance), but she's not quite there yet (despite being Family), so that's weird lol.  We'll see what happens.

Gunnar and Jasmine (see PV 9/7/25) paid off their student loans finally, so that's a load off.  However, their relationship is not looking too healthy.  They had a huge fight, after which Gunnar went out to a club to blow off some steam, and didn't feel a bit guilty about woohooing Melanie Kim (not that he ever feels particularly guilty, lol).

Pleasantview 8/1/26

 Arianna Bruty (see PV 9/5/25) spent a quiet day at home with her daughter.

Guy Wrightley (see PV 9/5/25) got a promotion at work and then went off to his business, where he made a small amount of money and earned a few stars.  Upon returning home, he finally had enough cash to buy a few meager furnishings, though I didn't let him go too crazy, as he has loan payments coming up in a few days.

Ben Tellerman (see PV 9/6/25) had the day off and used it to get the body point he needs and have some friends over.  Tyler went to work and got a chance card bonus, but no promotion.

Roxie and Phineaus (see PV 9/6/25) had purchased a dog while I was away from them and, between the supplies needed for her and the rent payment, the couple was nearly broke.  Luckily, they both went to work and Phineaus earned a promotion, so they're all good now.
