Pleasantview 12/21/25

At the Kim residence (see PV 7/12/25), businesses were run, dogs were trained, and many college funds were handed out.  Jeannette had a date with Marcel and wants to go steady now.  Alon and Charlene decided to have a baby, which makes sense since Charlene doesn't have any kids yet and is quite a bit younger than Alon.  This will be Alon's seventh child, however, so it's probably not as exciting for him.  Everyone keeps rolling wants for puppies, but that's impossible now that Charlene is pregnant (and I'm thankful for that because they've already got four dogs in the house lol).

Gladys Bruty (see PV 7/13/25) got another promotion and turned 60, which means no more adopting for this couple, thankfully.  Their new child is a toddler boy named Sawyer.  Dale also earned a promotion, and he and Jan Tellerman decided to move in together, which I'm sure will work out just fine lol. 😂 Next round Joshua will reach adulthood and perhaps head off to college; Kieran will become a teen.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/15/25

Alexis and Alvin Broke (see PV 7/11/25) must have been feeling old because they decided to try for another baby in the eleventh hour of their lives.  They were successful, so we'll be adding another member to the family in a few days, just in time for Alvin to become an elder (Alexis will follow a couple days later).  In addition to that, Andrew has moved back home and married his girlfriend (one of them anyway lol), Dawn Grundstrom.  Neither was able to find a job in their field just yet (there's no rush because the family has plenty of money), nor have they decided to get pregnant right away (though that would have been kind of interesting to have Andrew's sibling and child be the same age).  Andrew also rolled a want to buy a community lot, which could be something I let him do.  His LTW is for Culinary, so it would make sense for him to own a restaurant maybe?  He grew up watching his mother (and grandmother) run the salon, so I can see him wanting to be his own boss as well.  Plus, they can afford it.  I'll still have him go into Culinary, but no reason he couldn't run a restaurant as well, right?  Something to consider.

The Bruty household (see PV 7/11/25) grew by leaps and bounds this round.  First, Thomas decided to spawn another plant baby (Alice) and then Noel and Ivy chose to follow their dad's lead and spawn babies of their own (Liam and Oscar, respectively).  I neglected to remember that I already have a Liam Bruty, who is somehow related, so that'll be fun lol.  Camille pursued her LTW of Woohooing 20 Sims by woohooing Ashley Pitts.  Unfortunately, this caused some drama in the household, as Ivy had a crush on Ashley (which I also neglected to remember lol - really stellar simming today guys), so now everyone's mad at Camille.  At least she scored a promotion at work.  In any event, it's not causing an issue at the moment, but if Camille and Ivy start fighting too much, I'll move one of them out.  Someone will likely need to move out in the near future anyway, because the house is bursting at the seams with 8 sims and 2 pets now.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/14/25

Cara Broke (see PV 7/10/25) went to work and then had a date with her boyfriend Ben Tellerman.  During the date she rolled the want to get engaged, which Ben already had locked in, so I had her propose.  However, she still doesn't want to move in together and she didn't roll the want to get married (although Ben did), so for now they'll maintain the status quo.  If she also rolls the want for marriage at some point, it will override her Pleasure sim desire to remain footloose and fancy free.

Lucy Hanby (see PV 7/10/25) has had the want to get married locked for what seems like an eternity, but Aiden is still holding firm about not tying the knot.  He's getting up there in age though, so maybe once he's gone Lucy will finally move on to someone who is interested in marriage.  Incidentally, the ghost of her cat Tiger seems to be determined to help her out by scaring Aiden incessantly lol.

Since last round with Gavin Jacquet (see PV 7/10/25), he has moved his girlfriend, Michelle Kearney (formerly an orphanage caregiver), in with him.  He's pretty keen on getting married, but Michelle doesn't want that, though she did agree to try for a baby (which was successful).  Michelle's LTW is for Medicine but, given she's spent more than half of her adulthood at the orphanage, she hasn't had the opportunity to earn her degree.  So, she'll be working on that for the time being.  With the age/status difference between them, it certainly looks like Michelle may be taking advantage of Gavin to further her own goals in life, but it remains to be seen how things work out for them.

Armando Ottomas and Nadine Kim (see PV 7/11/25) decided to get married this round.  Apart from that, things are not looking great for them.  Armando got fired from his job but was able to find Intelligence again (not at the same level though). Nadine became an elder and both she and Armando wanted to adopt another child, but they were rejected by the agency for being too broke, which is fair because they're already supporting six kids between them and Armando didn't make any money this round.

Pleasantview 12/13/25

Pleasantview Prison (see PV 7/9/25) still has four inmates: Mason Tellerman, Rosemary Bruty, Alvin Broke, and Allegra Phoenix.  Both Mason and Alvin will be up for parole in two more days, though Mason is significantly more likely to be released.

Tess Landgraab (see PV 7/10/25) was not as lucky with the promotion this time; she'll have to wait until her next workday.  Her son Shane did get promoted, but it wasn't exactly a good time for it, as he later got arrested and sent to prison (with a longer sentence than he would have had if he hadn't been promoted).  Kate's grades are very low, but Stephen was able to help her with her homework, so they should come up once she gets back to class.  Apart from that, the family adopted another kitten, bringing them to four cats in total.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/30/25

 Continuing with Briarwood...

Boys' Dorm A (see PV 7/8/25) has six students: Ray Grundstrom, Hunter Cox, Marcel Dennis, Sean Tellerman, Wesley Grundstrom, and Edgar Gieke.  Ray graduated but opted not to attend Uni; he'll be moving into a place of his own somewhere.  The only boy who was able to get a date was Marcel (with Jeannette Korman); it went well, very sweet.  No one is set to graduate next round and Hunter, who is currently the oldest, doesn't look good to graduate at all, given his low grades.  That's unfortunate, as he's interested in going into Oceanography, which requires a master's degree; it's still doable of course, but will take a lot more time and effort with online classes.

Boys' Dorm B (see PV 7/8/25) has six students: Richard Ottomas, Teddy Korman, Parker Ottomas, Anton Kim, Shay Bruty, and Steven Ottomas.  Richard and Teddy graduated and left to attend LFT and ALT, respectively.  Parker earned a promotion at his job; he'll be graduating next round.

Girls' Dorm B (see PV 7/8/25) still had five students:  Madison Kim, Violet Grundstrom, Caryl Bruty, Elise Shahan, and Katrina Swain.  Madison and Violet both graduated and left for college (SSU and ALT).  All the teens worked (Caryl got promoted) and had dates (except for Caryl, whose date did not feel like hanging out).  No one is set to graduate next round, but we may see some new students move in, with only three girls left in this unit.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/29/25

Lam Plaza (see PV 7/3/25) still has two students: Gabriella Hamilton and Kimberli Cox.
This round was fairly uneventful for the girls; they both spent time with family/friends, they both made the Dean's List, and they both maintained their 4.0 GPAs.  Gabi will graduate next round and Kim will finish sophomore year.

At Casteroff (see PV 7/3/25), our final student, Dawn Grundstrom, finished her master's degree for Medicine, did a little painting, and moved out to live with her boyfriend Andrew Dreamer in his family home.  This dorm is now vacant and ready for some new freshmen to move in.

At Mille House (see PV 7/4/25) there are four students this round: Savannah Broke, Noelle Tellerman, Aaron GilsCarbo, and Max Deppiesse.
Savannah completed her master's degree for Intelligence, fell in love with Max, and moved out at the end of the term to live with her uncle (not cousin as previously stated) Lucas (she wanted to move in with David Ottomas, but he wasn't into it).
All three of the others rolled wants to join Greek houses, so the boys joined Nagard-Fruhm-Cham and Noelle joined Tri-Annya.  They all got in, scored perfect grades (and GPAs), became sophomores, and moved to their respective houses at the end of the round.
Mille House is now vacant until more students move in.

Moving on to Briarwood Prep...

Girls' Dorm A (see PV 7/8/25) was packed with six girls this round: Daphne Dreamer, Kylie Greaves, Emily Greaves, Mariah Landgraab, and newcomers Kaitlyn Ottomas and Joanne Ottomas.  It was date night for the teens, but only Daphne and Emily were successful in getting dates.  Daphne and Kylie graduated and headed off to LFT and ALT, respectively, freeing up some space for new students.  Mariah is set to graduate next time, but her grades are pretty low and I don't think she's going to make it.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/28/25

At Nagard-Fruhm-Cham (see PV 7/2/25) there were three members this term: Andrew Dreamer, Jess Creelman, and Jason Fancey.
Andrew spent the semester working, earning $1500, which he will take with him as he moves back into the family home with his mother and stepfather.
Jess and Jason both earned A+ grades, with Jess continuing senior year with a 3.8 GPA, and Jason becoming a senior with a 4.0 GPA.
If the guys don't get a new member soon, they'll need to get a placeholder.

Over at Romara, there is still just one student: Jason Broke.
Jason finished the term with an A+ and a 4.0.  He'll wrap up junior year next round, at which point he'll move to the special housing I've created for students pursuing master's degrees.  (This is something new I'm doing to make things a bit easier for these students, as well as more interesting for me.)

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/22/25

At Tri-Annya (see 7/1/25) there are now four members: Vicki McGaw, Lauren Greaves, Cybil Fancey, and Caryl Broke.
Vicki finished freshman year, Lauren will graduate next term, and Cybil and Caryl will be finishing sophomore year next round.  All four ladies continue to maintain perfect 4.0 GPAs.  Nothing else particularly exciting happened, but they did manage to get a competent gardener, so that was something.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/8/25

Desert Dorm (see PV 6/30/25) has just one resident, new student Glen Gray.
Glen is an incoming freshman, majoring in biology with the intent to go into Medicine.  He's starting off right with an A+ for the semester and a 4.0 GPA.  He is a little homesick though.

At ALT, Blake Tellerman graduated Summa Cum Laude, and will spend his final term on campus working on his master's degree in Science.  His girlfriend Amanda finished her freshman year with another A+; she'll begin sophomore year next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 10/18/25

Canyon Commons (see PV 6/29/25) has three students: Jake Alpha, Trinity Wong, and new student Teddy Fuchs.
Jake had an okay date, joined Oresha-Hoh-Var (where he moved at the end of the term), and earned a B+/3.7 GPA.  He'll begin sophomore year next round.
Trinity had a date with fiancé Garrett GilsCarbo, got accepted to Tri-Fruhm finally (she also moved), and scored a B-/2.3 GPA.  She'll also be a sophomore next time.
Teddy is majoring in philosophy with the intent of entering the Journalism career.  He had a dream date with Zaira Jeffress and also got a B- for the term.  His GPA is 2.9 and he'll finish freshman year next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 10/17/25

Moving on to LFT, we have the Tri-Fruhm Sorority (see PV 6/29/25), where there are now six members: Claire Carr, Claire Dreamer, Katy LeTourneau, Sydney Jacquet, and new members Clarissa Fancey and Ericka Tellerman.
Claire Carr scored a B+ for the term and is entering her final senior semester.
Clarissa scored B- and will finish sophomore year next round.
All the other girls made the Dean's List.  Claire Dreamer will also be graduating next round, Sydney finished junior year and will begin senior year, and Ericka and Katy will both be wrapping up junior year next time.

Oresha-Hoh-Var (see PV 6/29/25) got a new member, bringing the total to three: Brian Ryan, Ray Picaso, and Simon Korman.
All three boys were sick the entire round and, though Brian was able to rally enough to get the skill point he needed (Simon already had the skills needed), Ray was never able to get his logic point, which cost him academically.
Brian earned a B- and a 2.9 GPA; he'll be graduating next round.
Ray got a C+ and has a 3.1, which was good enough to finish junior year.
Simon did the best with a B+ and (I think) a 3.8, however he will not have the opportunity to complete sophomore year next round, as he died of disease immediately upon returning from his final exam. 😔  Ray did attempt to plead for his frat brother's life, but it fell on deaf ears.  Simon was the oldest child of Brittany and Alan Korman; he leaves behind his parents and two younger siblings.  RIP Simon.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 10/16/25

Pinenut Plaza (see PV 6/28/25) had two students this round: Garrett GilsCarbo and Joe Grundstrom (a former vacation townie, who was dating a playable sim, and therefore was grown up with her and sent to Uni).
Garrett continued to rack up admirers.  It seems as though he had three bolts for every woman he's ever met (except his mother, of course, lol).  Several more dormies began following him around and he met some more ladies on community lots as well.  However, during his date with Trinity Wong (in which they rekindled their teen romance), both he and Trinity rolled wants to get engaged.  Now, I have a system for deciding these things, but recently I made an exception for when both sims have the same want to get married or have a baby.  It stands to reason that engagement would be included there as well, but normally I do engagements as just part of the marriage process, once sims have moved in together, rather than as a formal step in the relationship.  In this case, with both of these sims being at Uni (and in different colleges), they are not able to move in together, so I decided to let them get engaged, since they both want it and, if they're still together by the time they graduate (they're both Romance so...), I will move them in together and get them married automatically.  I think that will still work with the way I play, so I'm happy with it.  In other news, Garrett joined Urele-Oresha-Cham and moved there at the end of the term.  He earned a B+ and a 3.2 GPA and will begin his sophomore year next round.
Joe doesn't know very many sims yet, but he's been dating Eliza Ottomas for a while.  They had a date this round which went very well.  Hopefully they'll stay together until he finishes college, as Eliza opted not to go to college and is currently sharing an apartment with her twin brother.  Joe is majoring in biology, with the intent to pursue Medicine.  He finished the term with a perfect 4.0 and will complete freshman year next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 10/15/25

Landgraab House has two new incoming freshmen: Julian Delarosa and Aaron Broke.
Julian is majoring in math, with the intent to enter the Science career.  He spent some time with his good friend Jay Broke (who happens to be Aaron's cousin) and worked on his term paper.  He earned an A+ for the term, thereby starting Uni off right with a perfect 4.0.
Aaron is majoring in philosophy; he'll be going into Journalism.  He was a lot less studious than Julian, preferring to spend time making toys on the toy bench and taking his baby sister out for a day at the community pool.  He earned a C+ and a 2.5 GPA.  He also rolled the want to join a Greek house, so he pledged Urele-Oresha-Cham and was accepted; he'll move there at the end of next term (when he finishes freshman year), which will be just in time, as Jordan Hanby will graduate next round.

At Sim State Dorm (see PV 6/28/25) there are still four students: Jay Broke, Anthony Tellerman, Leo Deppiesse, and Zaira Jeffress.
Anthony had a date with his girlfriend Cybil Fancey, and then decided to go Greek, joining Fruhm-Cham-Cham.  Since he's already a sophomore, he'll be moving there right away.  He finished the term with a B and a 3.2 GPA.
Jay and Zaira had a date, which had mixed results.  It went well in the beginning, but then she rejected him for a first kiss, and he went to bed feeling pretty down.  In the end, he's still crushing on her, but she's got him in the friend zone.  Jay finished the semester with a B+ and Zaira got an A+.
Leo asked out a dormie and was turned down flat, better luck next time!  At least he scored and A+ for the term.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 10/14/25

At Urele-Oresha-Cham there are still two members: Ross Grundstrom and Jordan Hanby.
Ross spent his time working to save up for an apartment.  He earned a total of $2442, which is not a huge amount for rent, but maybe he and his twin sister Dawn will share a place for a bit?  He also has an engagement want for his girlfriend, so that might happen pretty quickly once he gets settled.
Jordan earned an A+ for the term, bringing his GPA to 3.2.  He'll be finishing senior year next round.  I have a placeholder who is already a member of the frat, but Jordan hasn't met him, so if no one from the dorms joins, he'll have to track him down in preparation for moving him in when he leaves.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 10/13/25 Round 7

David Ottomas (see PV 6/28/25) spent his final semester at the campus gym doing personal training.  He wasn't terribly motivated, as he kept getting distracted by beautiful ladies, but he earned a few thousand bucks.  He's going to be moving back into the family home, since his father Andrew is very near the end of his life, and his mother Kaylynn just gave birth to his baby brother.  Since David is not likely to settle down anytime soon, it makes sense that he'd want to be there for his mom.

Tri-Var Sorority got played this round since it now has two members: Viola Mellon and Lysandra Harris.
Viola has been a placeholder for Tri-Var for a while, and now that there's a new member, she has officially become playable.  Viola is Romance/Pleasure, with a LTW for Athletic, and is majoring in Drama.  She made some new friends (and has high chemistry with a couple of guys) this round, as well as acing her classes/exams for a 4.0 GPA.  She'll finish freshman year next round.
Lysandra also scored an A+, maintaining her 4.0, but was a little less successful socially.  She had been dating Blaze Broke until she caught him cheating, but that's currently off the table, though she may forgive him in time.  She has a couple other prospects as well, so we'll see what happens with her.  She'll complete sophomore year next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 9/21/25 Gouda Legacy

My new legacy is a grilled cheese cult which is being founded by Brie Gouda.  I have built an apartment complex where the cult members will reside.  Brie has moved in and begun her life as the ultimate cheese enthusiast.  The rules are still a bit loose and there's not much to report just yet, but I'm planning to have lots of children and fill the compound up as quickly as possible.  Sims who don't live on the compound can also be Goudentologists, but they'll practice on a more relaxed level.  Brie's first day was spent mostly getting settled and painting for money to furnish her apartment.  More to come next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 9/20/25 Alpha and Latte Legacies

The Alphas (see PV 6/26/25 #2) struggled through another day.  Charity and Curtis were in the red most of the day, the kids weren't much better, and Betty ran amok.  The family continued to work on getting the new area of the shop stocked up.  Danica called Derek in an attempt to repair their negative relationship.  Dallas grew into a teen and rolled Family/Pleasure.  He'll be temporarily taking over toy making until he reaches adulthood and moves out.  There's not much else to report as neither of the other kids will grow up soon, nor will the puppies be aging up for a bit.  Charity and Curtis still have over a week before becoming elders.  It's just the grind at this point, prepping for the future when Danica takes over.

The Lattes (see PV 6/26/25 #2) had a calm day (so much different from the Alphas lol).  Jocelyn learned some toddler skills, Peter and the elders did some household chores, and Joy worked at the cafe, but didn't earn much money because pregnancy makes it difficult to be on her feet for very long.  Next round the baby will be born.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 9/10/25

Sage Dreamer (see PV 6/26/25) got a promotion and then hosted a girls' movie night.  Since the mysterious disease is really tanking her needs, she was unable to get the charisma point she needs, so I'm going to have her take a vacation day next round to (hopefully) recover and get her skills up to speed before she goes back to work.

Charles Grundstrom and Chloe Despret (see PV 6/26/25) celebrated their son Robert's child birthday.  With the new baby coming, they'll likely need to be thinking about moving to a bigger place in the near future.

Alan Korman (see PV 6/26/25) earned enough money at work to pay his overdue rent...just barely.  In the evening, he invited some sims over to have dinner and watch the game.  He finally made the friend he needs for a promotion, so hopefully that'll happen next round.

Happy Simming!

Tuesday, September 9, 2025

Pleasantview 9/9/25

Isabelle Greaves (see PV 6/20/25) went out with friends (one of whom brought her a pinball machine afterwards) and then headed out to work, where she scored a promotion.  Back at home, she searched for Athletic on the computer, but it didn't show up.

Morgan Alpha (see PV 6/20/25) had the day off from her new job.  She cleaned the apartment and had some of her sorority sisters over for dinner, during which she had her first pop.  She was only given one vacation day to use for maternity leave, so she may need to go to work next round and save the day off for the final day of her pregnancy.

The Dreamer brothers (see PV 6/20/25) had a fairly uneventful round.  Martin ran the gym (it's nearly up to rank 5) and later threw a building party.  Greg got a promotion at work.  Next round Helen will age up.

Ashley Pitts (see PV 6/21/25) had the day off.  He worked on body skill, invited his former professor over for a booty call, and went out with his buddies (former frat brothers) in the evening.

Melissa Fancey (see PV 6/21/25) had the day off again.  She slept all day and then went out again with friends; one of her friends, Allyn Shahan, was turned by Count Nery during the outing.  Cheyenne's grades are still not good enough to get a job, but Dalton got promoted to the top of his teen job.

Jared Starchild (see PV 6/26/25) got a promotion and had some friends over after work.

Zoe Bruty is back in the trailer park following her divorce.  She had enough money to get some basic furniture but will need to earn some money asap.  She took a job in Athletic - her first ever employment, as she has always been a stay-at-home mom.

With Allegra in prison, Jimmy Phoenix (see PV 6/26/25) is struggling to keep up with everything.  He had the day off but didn't have time to work on skills for his job, because he was tied up with toddler care all day.  Thankfully, the twins grew into children this round; they'll be in school during Jimmy's work hours, so not only will he have a little breathing room from round-the-clock care, but he can also avoid nanny fees for the most part.

Bryce Futa (see PV 6/26/25) went to work, threw a building party, worked on his degree, and earned the needed body points.

At the homeless shelter...(see PV 6/26/25)

Ricky Cormier got a promotion.

Monica Bratford also got promoted.

Andrzej Greaves went to work.

Moon Broke had the day off and popped.  She'll be moving in with her cousin Blaze for next round.

Dale Futa worked; he didn't find a Law Enforcement job.

End homeless shelter.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 9/8/25

Alyssa Larson and Sydney Greaves (see PV 6/19/25) were both off work.  Alyssa had a hard time getting through the day while suffering from the mysterious disease, but luckily both ladies got well by the end of the round.  Alyssa's boyfriend Darius Goss also moved in after recently graduating from college.  He found a job in Gamer (his LTW) right away, but Alyssa and Sydney were not so lucky on that front, so they'll continue working in their current jobs.

Kevin Beare (see PV 6/20/25) had an uneventful round, but at the end he moved out to a nicer place.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 9/7/25

Emily Lee (see PV 6/19/25) had another day off, which she used to get the body point she needs.  In the evening, she went out to a cafe with some friends.

Jasper Roseland (see PV 6/19/25) got a promotion at work, had a friend over, and looked for (but did not find) a job in Music.

Gunnar Roque and Jasmine Rai (see PV 6/19/25) both got promotions and then Gunnar went on an outing and added another notch to his bedpost.

Both the Latte brothers (see PV 6/19/25) got promotions and Noah scored his second first date.

Jessie Pilferson (see PV 6/19/25) got a promotion, went out with friends, and failed to find a job in Music.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 9/6/25

Ben Tellerman (see PV 6/18/25) went out with his mom to a toy store, where he bought a gift for his new baby sister.  Upon returning home, he got ready for work and came home with a promotion.  Tyler also got promoted and, later that night, was able to secure a job in the Criminal career.  He may soon be joining dear old dad in prison.

Roxie Sharpe (see PV 6/18/25) has been in such a terrible mood lately because of the mysterious disease that she got demoted for poor work performance.  Phineaus, however, is doing much better and got promoted.  They used to extra cash to buy some things for the apartment and get a kitten.

Will Bruty (see PV 6/18/25) got a promotion and, since I've amended my rules a bit recently, he was given the green light to marry Elle.  She moved in right away, got an elder job in Slacker, and began bonding with Will's children.  Ella (I know, a bit confusing lol) had the day off and her twin Anna finished her GED (but has not yet found a Gamer job) and had another first date.  Quinn didn't really have anything going on this round, and I think he'll probably be moving out next round, as Will doesn't really need a roommate anymore now that he's married (and his new bride brought in a significant amount of cash).

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 9/5/25

Arianna Bruty (see PV 6/17/25) took her daughter Jeannie out to the pool, where she was able to meet several new kids.  Back at home, Jeannie learned to study and got to bed early.  Ari spent the evening cleaning and caring for the cats.

Guy Wrightley (see PV 6/18/25) paid his rent and spent the rest of the day cleaning.  In the evening, he finished a painting which sold for a nominal amount, but at least he's not completely broke.

Happy Simming!

Thursday, September 4, 2025

Pleasantview 9/4/25

The Custer twins and Lexie Broke (see PV 6/16/25) all got promotions.  Mark had the day off.  The friends adopted yet another puppy - it's getting ridiculous lol.  Lexie had an outing but, since she's romantically involved with two of the friends she brought with her, slapping and fighting quickly ensued and the outing was over in record time.

Chaz Whippler (see PV 6/17/25) was the only member of the household to work this round and he FINALLY got promoted.  Tom worked on skills.  Joel's pregnant girlfriend Caryl Grundstrom moved in and had her first pop, while Joel spent his day doing financial consulting, from which he earned a substantial amount.

Happy Simming!

Wednesday, September 3, 2025

Pleasantview 9/3/25

Matthew Hart (see PV 6/15/25) got a promotion.  Both Blossom and William had the day off and they decided to get married.  Blossom also finally found her dream job in Natural Science (and she popped).

Eric Landgraab (see PV 6/15/25) hasn't been making progress in either his career or his love life, so he's focusing his energy on his magic.  Unfortunately, attempting to cast a spell on one of his neighbors backfired on him, draining his energy.  Honestly, I didn't even know that could happen; so excited to see something new after so many years of playing this game!!

Meadow Shahan moved into her new apartment.  She invited Elise over to check the place out and rolled a want to adopt another child, which is currently not an option for her, as she doesn't have enough money.

Meredith Landgraab and Jessie Carr (see PV 6/16/25) tied the knot this round.  The teens both had dates - Whitney with Alvin Lothario (dream date) and Colton with Emily Greaves (a blind date that did not go that well).  The family also adopted another puppy.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/30/25

Jane Nova (see PV 6/15/25) got a promotion and then discovered she's pregnant!  Though it was unplanned, the couple is overjoyed to be welcoming their first child.  They're not wealthy by any means, but they're doing fine and looking forward to the new arrival.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/29/25

This round was a mixed bag of luck for Shanna Copur (see PV 6/12/25).  First, she ran her shop; she ranked up, allowing for a randomly selected business perk, which turned out to be some desperately needed cash.  She was able to restock one clothing rack, the perfume display, and the jewelry when it ran out.  On top of that, she still had enough money to pay the rent when she got home.  However, things took a turn for the worse later in the evening, when (as expected) Sarah passed away at the age of 65.  Since she and Shanna were never married, the life insurance payment totaled less than $450 for all three family members.  They weren't really in the mood to celebrate, but it was Jeff's teen birthday, so they had some cake and went to bed.  Jeff rolled a LTW for Culinary btw.

It was business as usual for Chris and Xavier Sims (see PV 6/15/25).  Chris slept the day away, while Xavier went off to work.  Upon returning home, he took care of the baby, cleaned up the apartment, and invited some friends over.  During the nighttime hours, Chris taught Jada to talk.  At the end of the round, the family said goodbye to the apartment building that has been their home for quite some time; they'll be buying a house (likely in Pleasant Valley), where they'll be played next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/28/25

Pamela Broke (see PV 6/11/25) is trying to adjust to parenthood by buying things (like a florist bench) for her daughter Kyra, but she's not really bonding with her just yet.  Kyra is keeping in contact with her orphanage friends, and she briefly rolled a want to go to boarding school, but it's kind of nice having the things she's always wanted, so she's staying put for now.

Amy Shahan (see PV 6/12/25) did not expect to be preparing for retirement and being a single mother to a toddler at the same time...but here we are.  She took her last vacation day this round to try to teach Jackson some toddler skills and clean up the apartment a bit.  Next round she will work her final day in the Education career and then retire.

Erik Tomyoy (see PV 6/12/25) has still not found a job, but he took over all the cooking and cleaning for the household in the meantime.  He and Klara successfully avoided each other for the entire day (it's not really that hard, given she sleeps all day lol).  Stella attempted to make amends with Blossom with a phone chat, but it didn't go very well.  At the end of the round, Erik and Stella moved out to find a place of their own.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/27/25

On the alien lot (see PV 6/10/225) I moved in a Servo and one of Robi's townie friends in preparation for converting the lot to a school and to carry on the alien experiment, respectively.  Remington is too old for any more alien babies and Robi has maybe one day left, so it's time for new blood.  Quade is a few days from growing up but, since there's room for three more sims in the household, they'll start taking applications for the STEM school next round.

Cooper Seifert (see PV 6/10/25) got a promotion at work, Ivy inherited a small sum from her father Dylan, and Calvin grew into a child.  Elise gave birth to boy/girl twins Miles and Morgan.  I fear the financial stress is taking a toll on the couple's relationship; their numbers aren't looking very good at the moment.

Kevin and Marie Bruty (see PV 6/10/25) are having a baby!  Michelle had another date with Goopy and finished her GED, which allowed her to take a job in Music (her LTW).  Kevin needed a logic point for his job, so I had him stargaze for a bit.  I had the insane thought that it would be fun if Kevin got abducted and Michelle got "accidentally" pregnant on her date - they'd all be expecting at the same time lol!  But neither of those things happened, so it's just the one baby for now (or maybe two, who knows?)

Devin Wong (see PV 6/11/25) got a promotion, while Patrick had the day off.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/26/25

Edwin and Delilah Sharpe (see PV 6/5/25) have been fighting a lot lately and their relationship is suffering for it.  Meanwhile, Delilah and Mitch are still going strong, with Edwin none the wiser.  The baby will be born next round.

DJ Verse (see PV 6/5/25) did some financial consulting on her day off, while Calista got promoted at work.

Max Flexor (see PV 6/5/25) had a pretty bad day.  He's sick with the mysterious disease, so he was in a fairly bad mood all day.  I thought he'd perk up a bit when he went out with some friends, but only one of the group showed up and he came home tired and miserable.  He didn't get much done on his degree and wasn't able to look for a job in Politics.  He'll be starting off next round pretty deep in the red and needing to go to work.  Yikes.

Aaron Broke (see PV 6/5/25) graduated high school and got accepted to SSU, where he'll be played next round.  Brian is going to have a hard time making ends meet without Aaron's income, especially since he'll need to employ a nanny to watch Bridget in the afternoons.

Goopy GilsCarbo (see PV 6/6/25) got promoted, went back to work in the evening, and got promoted again.  Brandon had the day off.  I'm thinking about getting them a house, since they've got a pretty decent amount of savings.

Geoffrey Ottomas (see PV 6/6/25) had his first pop this round.  Sabastian went to work and then out with some friends.  Damon grew into a teen with a LTW to top Music.

Weldon Smith got settled into his new rental house and was lucky enough to find a job in Culinary right away.  He went out with some friends and met some walkbys as well.  All told, it was a pretty good start to his adulthood.

Braden Dreamer (see 6/6/25) invited his ex-girlfriend Pamela over, along with the daughter (Kyra) that she recently regained custody of...the daughter who is also his.  He felt it was only right that he should try to get to know the girl, as well as offer some financial support in the way of adding to her college fund.  Later that evening, he found a job in Gamer and switched over.  Mira's dog died and she went out with some friends to try to take her mind off her loss.  Back at home, she cleaned up a bit and went straight to bed.  Riley still has some time left, but she's been giving some thought to who will inherit her considerable fortune, as well as her house.  Since she doesn't have any children, she will likely split her money between her two brothers, Landon and Armando, who are the only family members she's close to, and as they both own homes of their own already, she'll leave the house to Landon's bigfoot, Amar.

On the plant sim lot (see PV 6/7/25) Dominic Picaso passed away at the age of 73.  The remaining sims on the lot are Sandy Bruty and her son Charles, who are both in their 70s, with Charles' bar closer to the end than his mother's.

Mia Landry (see PV 6/7/25) got a promotion at work and she and Liam threw a party.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/25/25

Moving on to Downtown...

Xander and Gloria Goss (see PV 6/3/25) decided, at long last, to start their family.  Unfortunately, Xander got a bad chance card at work and lost his job not long after the lullaby sounded.  Luckily, Gloria makes good money, even on maternity leave, so they should be ok.  Xander was unable to find Journalism again, but he'll keep searching.

Jan Tellerman's (see PV 6/4/25) day started off badly.  Her butler, for some reason, called the police when he arrived, and it ended up costing Jan a $500 fine, since there was no emergency.  After that, Jan went to work, where she got a bad chance card that cost her $20,000 and two logic points; consequently, she did not get her promotion.  Upon returning home, she fired the butler and hired a maid instead, had her daughter Teri over for a bit, and was invited out for drinks with some friends.  Since AJ Broke was hanging out in her apartment when she got the call to go out, she asked him to join her.  Things got pretty steamy between Jan and AJ during the outing and they sealed the deal upon returning to the apartment building.  After AJ left, Jan did manage to get one logic point back, but she's still short one, so she won't be getting promoted next round either.

At the House of Fallen Trees (see PV 6/4/25) Maura got promoted; she is now high enough in the Law career to defend any potential Criminals who move to the future crime base.  Matthew had the night off, which he used to get the last mechanical point he'll need for his career; all that is needed now is for Matthew to get promoted up to Criminal Mastermind, at which point other Criminals can start moving in, as space permits.

The recent death of Stacy Landgraab's (see PV 6/4/25) mother (Amelia Pearson) was sad news, but the inheritance certainly helped to furnish the apartment, especially in light of the birth of their second son Kyle (and the birthday of their first son).  Andrzej brought home a promotion bonus as well, so the family is in pretty good shape.

Sophie Young (see PV 6/4/25) got a promotion at work, and then she and Eric went on a date, which was mediocre at best.  Eric got all the points needed for his next promotion.

Clarence Ramirez (see PV 6/4/25) got a chance card that lost him the mechanical point he'd just earned, so no promotion.  Tracy had the day off, which was spent caring for the twins, who grew into toddlers this round.  Tracy is keen on having another baby, but their relationship is suffering under the stress of work/family life, so it's not happening at the moment.

Calvin Dreamer (see PV 6/5/25) had a date with Brooke Larson which went very well.  They're not ready to move in just yet, but we'll see how things develop with them.

Dagmar Grundstrom (see PV 6/5/25) went out with friends, did some stargazing which earned her $500, and checked the paper first thing in the morning for a night job, but was unsuccessful in her search.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/24/25

Martin Ruben (see PV 6/2/25) earned just enough money to pay the rent (they now have $0).  Heather had the day off, which she spent getting in and out of the coffin like it was her (second) job.  She survived but failed once again to find a job in Music.

Tiffany Ruben (see PV 6/2/25) got demoted, while her husband had the day off.  Nothing else of note occurred.

Yvette Kim (see PV 6/3/25) gave birth to a baby girl, Veronica.  Nick took the girls out for an afternoon at the rec center.  Next round, both the baby and Kiara will age up.  Also, since I've instituted mortgages, the family will be moving into a home of their own.

Rose and Nerissa Gregory (see PV 6/3/25) spent a quiet day together.  They went out for coffee in the morning, then spent the rest of the day with household chores before Nerissa went to work at night.  Their toddler will arrive next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/22/25

Clarence and Erin Philippine (see PV 6/2/25) are not out of the woods yet in terms of their relationship, but they're working on it.  Clarence had the day off, which was spent working on skills, teaching Crystal to study, and breeding their cats for a litter of kittens.  Erin had some friends over for an outing.  Baby Philippine is due next round.

Renaud Delarosa and Brooke Lawson (see PV 6/2/25) decided to have a baby; Renaud already has two sons, so we'll see if he scores a trifecta of boys or if he finally becomes a girl dad.  In other news, Renaud only needs one more promotion to top Science.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/21/25

Calista Copur (see PV 6/1/25) got all the body points needed and then invited some friends over for dinner, during which she acquired the friend she also needed for her promotion.  She will become an elder next round.

Frances and Marion Worthington (see PV 6/1/25) both got promoted, after which Marion had her first pop and Frances spent most of the night working out to gain body points.

Almeric Davis and Anna Lawson (see PV 6/1/25) both had the day off again.  It looks like they'll be late paying the rent - hopefully not too late though because they wouldn't want to be evicted.

Checo and Christy Ramirez (see PV 6/1/25) threw a building party to celebrate the impending birth of their child.  Christy made comfort soup, but no one ate any apart from her own family, who promptly got reinfected with the mysterious disease.  Checo did, however, finally manage to paint a masterpiece, which helped his aspiration a lot.  It looks like next round will be his last.

Orlando Bertino (see PV 6/2/25) brought home a promotion but, surprisingly, decided against moving in with girlfriend Elise Bruty.  Maybe he wants to wait until Teri goes off to college to avoid the drama between her and Elise?  Teri finally learned her hobby is nature, which makes her well-suited to a job in either Natural Science or Oceanography.  Since she has more interest in the environment than animals, I'm going with Natural Science (also her dad is already doing Oceanography and I don't get Nat Sci that often, so it'll be more fun for me lol).

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/20/25

I decided to move Cole Long (see PV 6/1/25) and his family to a new lot, as I didn't feel like dealing with the slow time glitch and, honestly, they needed a bigger house anyway.  The timing was good as well, since we're at the beginning of the season.  Anyway, they took out a mortgage to buy a house not too far from their old place in Pleasant Valley.  They got settled in, Cole went off to work and the kids to school, and Brittany stayed home with Justin.  She was able to find a job in Education right away, which is good for her LTW, but bad for the vacation days she'd racked up in Culinary.  They'll make it work.  She didn't have time to work on her master's, what with toddler skills to teach, pets to wrangle, and welcome wagons to welcome, but she did have her first pop, which (in the absence of the slow time glitch) means we'll see Baby Long in a couple rounds.

The Rusewicz family (see PV 6/1/25) was chaotic as usual.  You may recall that Nancy was turned into a vampire a couple households ago.  Being pregnant and broke did not help her situation.  Her needs kept tanking and they couldn't afford to buy a coffin until Jace's vacation pay came in at 2 p.m.; I barely managed to keep her alive until then, but she pulled through.  Consequently, I didn't have much time to worry about anyone else in the household, so it's good that they were able to take care of themselves for the most part.  Judith's grades came up enough to keep the Social Worker away, so that was good.  Marshall didn't know any girls to ask out on a date, so he went with a blind date from the matchmaker.  However, since there was very little money left after buying the coffin, it didn't go that well.  Jace spent most of his day cleaning in order to gain the last point he needs for promotion, but he's still not there yet.  So not a great round for everyone else, but we kept mother and child alive, so I'm calling it a win.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/19/25

Russell Broke (see PV 5/31/25) got promoted.  His father Logan earned a vacation day, which he'll be using next round in preparation for retirement the following round.  Trudi is still on maternity leave - the baby is due next time.  The kids had a play date and then Gigi grew into a teen with the LTW to Graduate 3 Kids from College.  Her hobby is sports, so she might pursue a career in either Athletics or Journalism.  Kaitlyn rolled the want to attend private school; there's still a little room for girls at Briarwood, so she headed off there at the end of the round.

Claire Tellerman (see PV 5/31/25) gave birth to a baby boy, Nolan.  Afterwards, she managed to get in some financial consulting, nearly saving up enough to start on her degree.  However, she'll probably want to start contributing to her kids' college funds next round, as Laura has nothing in hers and is ready to go to Uni next time, which means her own education may continue to be put on hold.

Zena Dreamer (see PV 5/31/25) got promoted and had some friends over to celebrate.  Nevada grew into a teen (LTW TBD).

Marie and Andrew Gergis (see PV 5/31/25) both had the day off.  Andrew potty trained Theo and went down to the toy store to buy him a birthday present; Theo subsequently grew into a child.  Marie spent her evening picking up the body point she needs for work.  The family will be moving to a new house next round, as they've outgrown this one.  Side note: while Marie was on a community lot, the Contessa showed up and bit Nancy Rusewicz, whose household is coming up soon.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/18/25

Lois Tellerman (see PV 5/31/25) managed to survive another round (at this point it's the best I can hope for) despite still being sick.  She hired a nanny to help out, even though she's on maternity leave from her job.  I'm hoping that once the baby is born next round, she'll be able to get her needs up enough to recover from her illness.  At least Gail got caught up on her homework; she really wants her mom to teach her to study, but that's just not in the cards at the moment.

Happy Simming!

Thursday, August 14, 2025

Pleasantview 8/14/25

Marla and Orlando Gothier (see PV 5/31/25) both wanted to have another baby, so I obliged them.  Their house is very small, however, so some remodeling was in order.  Eventually, a new house will be needed, but they can't swing a down payment (not to mention adding a mortgage payment to their already tight budget) right now, so I built a second bedroom and extended the porch a bit.  I also gave them a driveway and the restorable car, since they both have tinkering as their hobby.

Delia Ottomas (see PV 5/31/25) got another promotion, which puts her back on the night shift.  It won't be a problem though, as she and the kids are moving in with Luke starting next round.  Arthur went out with his dad and some friends, but he didn't have a very good time because one of his "friends" Phillip Copur decided to attack him during the outing.  Needless to say, they're no longer friends lol.  Upon returning home, he met Olivia Landgraab, who was walking by.  Unfortunately, they didn't get along at all; he sent her home once the poking started.  I'm starting to think Arthur is the problem lol.

Happy Simming!

Wednesday, August 13, 2025

Pleasantview 8/13/25

Aiyana Gray (see PV 5/30/25) got promoted finally; I think she's just one promo away from topping Dance at this point, but she needs quite a few skills to do so.  Michael found a Slacker job right away, so he's set.  Jeannie grew up with the want to attend college, but she didn't have the skills needed, so she'll be moving back home after I drop her out.  She's currently going steady with Aaron Broke, so we'll have to see if that develops into anything once he joins her in adulthood.

Allyn Shahan (see PV 5/30/25) got a big bonus at work, in addition to being promoted, which will really help her financial situation.  She was able to add to the kids' college funds for the first time in a while.  Lawson rolled a want for private school, but there's no room at the moment.

Jonah Powers (see PV 5/31/25) got a chance card promotion that allowed him to go back to work in the afternoon, which improved his finances enough that he was able to buy a car.  In the evening, when he returned home from his second shift, he had some friends over, but didn't enjoy it much as he was exhausted.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/8/25

When Tina Traveller's (see PV 5/29/25) toddler arrived, it was a boy named AMAR.  I don't know why my game is stuck on this name in the adoption pool, but I was not having it this time, especially since the bigfoot's name is also Amar.  So, I exited without saving, went to CAS to make a single parent of seven randomized children/toddlers, and killed off the adult sim.  The kids, of course, were taken by the Social Worker, so that the next few adoptions at least will not be boys named Amar (or girls named Caryl, for that matter).  Aaannywaaaaay.....this time around Tina got a boy named Reese and got straight to work teaching toddler skills.  After midnight she checked for her job again, but it still didn't appear.  However, her father Trent did make an appearance, scaring both Tina and Amar several times.  They survived though.  Next round the kittens will be born.

Darcy Broke (see PV 5/30/25) was lonely after her elderly dog died, so she decided to adopt a kitten.  She's also nearly maxed her body skill, which is a want she's had for quite a while.

Happy Simming!

Thursday, August 7, 2025

Pleasantview 8/7/25

Ryan Jacquet (see PV 5/28/25) had an uneventful round.  I did, however, give him a drink of elixir, since somehow he and his twin got out of sync in age.

Luc Young (see PV 5/29/25) aged up to elder this round and adopted a new puppy.

Joe and Marion Carr (see PV 5/29/25) had an uneventful round, with the exception of their elderly cat's death.

Elise Bruty (see PV 5/29/25) had a nice date with Orlando Bertino, but they have not yet made the decision to move in together.  Maybe that will change when he's played, but for now they will maintain the status quo.

Brandon Tellerman (see PV 5/29/25) scored another promotion; it's getting so easy for him.  Bruce had the day off and went out with some friends; he'll work next round and likely get promoted as well.

Annabeth Copur (see PV 5/29/25) welcomed her daughter Amy home from boarding school.  I was hopeful that Amy would have quite a few friends, thereby allowing her mother to get that promotion she's so desperate for, but no such luck; Annabeth is still short a good many friends, so it's unlikely that she'll get promoted before it's time for her to retire.  Oh well, can't win them all - at least Amy is back home and will soon enter the work force herself and, hopefully find someone to settle down with and give her mom some grandchildren.

Tomorrow we're on to Pleasant Valley.  Until then, Happy Simming!

Wednesday, August 6, 2025

Pleasantview 8/6/25

Christian and Chloe Cox (see PV 5/28/25) threw a party for Phoebe's child birthday, as well as welcoming a baby boy (Jackson) to the family.  To make room, they had to ask their roommate to move out, but she took it well and there were no hard feelings.

Ty Bubbler (see PV 5/28/25) continued to fail at life.  Since last round, he acquired a cat (from Luke Pearson) because another mouth to feed is exactly what he needs right now. 😒 He did, however, roll the want for a roommate, which I granted.  Lily Do moved right in and paid half his overdue rent, but who knows how long she'll stay, given the sparse conditions of his apartment.  I was hoping to at least make a love connection, but they have negative chemistry.  Ty is not in good shape lol.

At some point since I last played Andrew and Kaylynn Ottomas (see PV 5/28/25), Kaylynn caught Andrew cheating and became furious with him.  Normally, when this happens, I break the couple up immediately and move one of them out to be played in another household.  However, in this case, it doesn't make sense to do that for a number of reasons: 1) Andrew doesn't have much time left on his life bar, 2) he has lived in this house since he was born, and 3) from a somewhat storytelling position, if Kaylynn was going to marry a man old enough to be her father/grandfather, it wouldn't make sense for her to divorce him right before she collects all that life insurance money.  From a purely practical standpoint, with the twins moving out (they'll be sharing a place for now), David potentially moving back in, and the new baby (a boy, Myles) being born, it's just one more hassle I don't need, especially since Andrew is likely to die next round anyway.  So mostly laziness I guess lol.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/5/25

Jace Lothario (see PV 5/27/25) ran his gallery, getting it up to rank 1.  That may be the last time he runs it, as he's only got 3 or 4 days left on his bar, by my estimation.  I assume the business will be left to Charles, but their relationship has been a bit strained, so maybe not.

Rebecca Larson (see PV 5/27/25) threw a party involving several love interests.  She managed to infuriate three of them, so her harem is a bit diminished.  Her baby will be due next round.

Florence Delarosa (see PV 5/28/25) had an uneventful round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/1/25

Amar Bigfoot (see PV 5/27/25) still did not find a Dance job, but he did invite his friend Kirby over for a visit.  Unfortunately, both Landon and Tanya took an instant dislike to Kirby and spent most of the day harassing him.  Jonathan got promoted and began working on skills.

Cynthia Picaso (see PV 5/27/25) got promoted to the top of Military; she will use up her vacation days in preparation for retirement.  Unfortunately, her LTW is to Marry Off 6 Children, which is not likely to happen in her lifetime.  Stuart is getting pretty close to finishing his LTW, however.  He wants to Max All Skills.

Happy Simming!

Thursday, July 31, 2025

Pleasantview 7/31/25

Pregnancy is really kicking Alicia Larson's (see PV 5/21/25) butt.  She can barely keep up with her needs and Cody's during the day.  Luckily, they have a maid and a gardener to help out around the house.  Next round she'll give birth and get back to feeling more like herself, but she'll also have two kids to care for, so that might not be much relief.  At least she gets a break at night when Craig's awake.  Poor thing is really suffering.

Lucas Broke (see PV 5/21/25) took a sick day from work to welcome his new child (a boy named...you guessed it...Amar 😒) into the family.  He also adopted yet another kitten, and then immediately rolled the want for another.  It's getting ridiculous.  Needless to say, I did not lock it in; hopefully it'll roll away by next round.

Griff Schehl (see PV 5/21/25) worked on his logic point, while his son Tad decided to fix up an old junker and buy a toy bench.  Tammy spent the day cleaning and teaching toddler skills to Beth.

Adam Hamilton (see PV 5/22/25) had the day off again, which was spent getting a body point.  Marylena cleaned up the house a bit and worked on her current car.  She also adopted another kitten, for a total of four cats.  (At least she didn't adopt a boy named Amar, lol!!)

Margaret Dreamer (see PV 5/22/25) spent the day working in her garden.

Isabella Landgraab (see PV 5/22/25) had an uneventful round.

Julie Deppiesse (see PV 5/22/25) aged up to teen with the LTW of having six grandchildren.  Since her hobby is music and dance, I'll have her pursue a career in Music.  Evelyn (who I mistakenly called Isabella last update) went out with some friends and continued to fail at finding a job.  James worked on some skills for work and bought a robot bench.

Lynn Tinker (see PV 5/22/25) was able to hire a manager for the appliance store almost immediately.  (A servo came up in the list of hirable sims and, I don't usually allow that much interaction with servos in this neighborhood {they are primarily used as placeholders/servants}, but in this case I decided to allow it because Lynn has so much going on and needed the manager asap.)  In any event, she used up her last vacation day to run the shop and hire the manager.  From here on out, she'll mostly be checking in with the business and concentrating on her Science job.  In other news, the twins grew into children and Lynn had just enough money to buy them beds.  She's really broke now, but at least she'll save a bit on the nanny.  I also noticed that she has the secondary aspiration for Grilled Cheese, which means she's a Goudentologist.  More on that later.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/29/25

Dylan Broke (see PV 5/19/25) passed away at the age of 76.  He leaves behind three sons and a young daughter (one son predeceased him).  Dylan was the oldest of six children born to the iconic couple Dustin and Angela Broke.  He struggled to maintain romantic relationships throughout his life, which is why he never reached his LTW of having a Golden Anniversary, but family was very important to him.  He remained close with his siblings and his children no matter where life took them.  He will be missed.  RIP Dylan.

The Goths (see PV 5/20/25) were a little better to play this time, with my new "save every six hours" rule (only one crash).  Lauren turned 60, Nathaniel and Sarah welcomed a baby boy, Joshua, and Rebekah will go off to college next round.

The chaos continues for Grace Butler (see PV 5/20/25), as one child's grades come up and another child's go down.  Add to that, the cat dying, adopting a new kitten, trying to get the house cleaned, hiring a gardener, repairing all the broken stuff, and still trying to find time for her own needs, her job, and skilling.  Luckily, she's got Damion to help out, as well as Corbin, who is a teen now.  Corbin is also planning to help out financially with his new job, but who knows how long he'll keep it if he keeps neglecting his homework.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/28/25

Amelia Pearson (see PV 5/19/25) live a long, often tragic, life before finally passing on at the age of 79.  She was the daughter of Houston Landchild and Priya (Ramaswami) Landchild.  Her older brother Sayid was from her mother's first marriage to Sanjay Ramaswami, and she had a younger sister, Miley, as well.  She married townie Justin Pearson and they had three sets of twins together.  Sadly, two of their children died as teens.  The remaining four children have provided Amelia with 10 grandchildren to date.  Ultimately, she lost her husband, her siblings, and another of her children before meeting the Grim Reaper herself.

And that's it for today!  I spent a very long time reorganizing the graveyard, as it had become pretty muddled.  We'll visit Dylan and Carter Broke tomorrow.

Pleasantview 7/27/25

Melody and Marcus Hamilton (see PV 5/16/25) did indeed have twins, Seth and Viola.  Their son Lucas also grew into a child.  Toby will likely die next round, at which point I'll have to decide whether to move Roger in with his mother (he is close to her, but she doesn't have much room for him) or keep him here with his sister (it would be simpler, but the household is pretty crowded).

Ryker and Audrey Jones (see PV 5/16/25) have been wanting to take a Far East vacation for a while now, so I let them do it this round.  They met some sims, saw some sights, bought some souvenirs, and discovered the secret lot where they learned the Dragon Legend.  Back at home, Darlene and Phil spent most of their time studying and learning new skills.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/25/25

Tosha Go (see PV 5/14/25) has yet to turn a profit from her business, but she did earn a bronze flower badge, so she's getting her stock in order at least.  Claire taught her dog Zoey the skill needed for a promotion and collected her pension which, in addition to Zoey's pay, was more than enough to cover her expenses for now.

Little Ruby Smith (see PV 5/15/25) grew into a child this round.  Her father bought her a puppy to celebrate.  Amar will reach adulthood next round.

Katie Tellerman (see PV 5/15/25) spent a quiet Sunday at home by the phone, waiting for word on her beloved cat.

Belinda Alpha's (see PV 5/16/25) power to cheat death saved her; she lives to see another day.  Rebecka had the day off, as did Bryan, which he spent adding more notches to his bedpost.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/24/25

Jonathan Greaves (see PV 5/12/25) spent a quiet Sunday at home, while Demi worked and got promoted.

Evan Dreamer (see PV 5/14/25) worked on skills during his day off, while Hailey wrangled the kids.  Hunter got his grades up and rolled a want for private school, which the family could just barely afford, so he took the last available slot (for boys, that is) at Briarwood Prep.  The two younger boys both learned to study.  Next round the new baby is due.

Megan Broke (see PV 5/14/25) is still short three friends for her next promotion, but she's got plenty of time to boost her friend count, being a vampire and all.  Travis had another date with Bill LeTourneau but, alas, it was not a dream date.  He and Bill are best friends and crushing on each other, but not yet in love.

Daniel Larson (see PV 5/14/25) got his employee trained up and promoted to manager just in the nick of time.  Now he'll be able to focus on running the gallery over the weekend, while leaving the bookstore in Sullivan's capable hands.  Brianna had the day off again.  Brooke got promoted to the top of Entertainment, completing her LTW.  Her new LTW is for 6 Pets to Top Careers, which could be doable, I suppose.  She'll be using up the vacation time she's racked up before going back to work anyway, so she'll have time to teach the pets some skills.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/23/25

Orlando Centowski (see PV 5/11/25) worked on his GED, Donna had her first pop, and Quentin had the day off which was spent doing household chores.  Both girls grew up - April to child and Diana to toddler.

Tosha Futa (see PV 5/12/25) got a bad chance card which cost her three cleaning skill points.  She spent most of the night regaining the points before collapsing into bed.

The Andersens' (see PV 5/12/25) new child turned out to be a boy named Amar.  They moved Hope and Jill into a room together and put Amar in a room by himself for now.  Mallory earned another promotion at work and taught both girls to study.  The kittens will grow up (and be sold) next round.

Todd Custer's (see PV 5/12/25) adoptive son, Amar (are all the kids in the social services pool named Amar?), arrived, and Todd got straight to work teaching toddler skills.  His mother took over caring for the baby in the evening when Todd had to head off to work (he got promoted).  Solveig has reached retirement age, but since she still has a couple of vacation days to use up, I'll let her keep her job for the time being, but she won't be going back to work.  Sadly, it looks like she and Ratna are going to be splitting up.  It was quite late by the time the determination was made, so the actual break up will take place at the beginning of their next round.

Lakshmi Broke's (see PV 5/12/25) seventh child turned out to be a girl, who she named Kaitlyn.  Ricky brought home Steven Ottomas, and later met Steffi Kim (who he has two bolts for) walking by the house.  Both Ricky and Declan have been struggling in school, so they had to spend some time catching up on homework.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/19/25

Eugene Gieke (see PV 5/6/25) had the day off and worked on logic skill, Agnes got demoted, Myrtle made another conquest (she's up to 5 lovers now), Audrey grew into a child, and one of the dogs ran away, which Oliver reported immediately.

The Bruty household (see PV 5/7/25) was pretty uneventful.  Paige got another promotion and Lee had another day off to spend teaching the toddlers.  Next round, Jonah and Nicole will finish high school.

Marvin and Vyn Gieke (see PV 5/7/25) welcomed a baby boy, Lionel, this round.  It may not be enough to save their marriage though.  Unless something changes, this couple is headed for divorce.

Since the furniture store is closed on Sunday, Lisa and Tessa Ramirez (see PV 5/8/25) spent a quiet day at home, doing household chores and relaxing in preparation for getting back to work on Monday.

Brad Dreamer (see PV 5/8/25) spent the day at home, skilling and spending time with his son.

Noelle Dennis (see PV 5/9/25) got promoted to the top of Entertainment and rolled a new LTW for 5 Top Businesses.  I had her take out a business loan to buy Le Magnifique! in Bluewater Village.  It seemed appropriate, as she has high interest in food, her OTH is cuisine, and now that she's a celebrity, it makes sense to me.  She'll be using up her vacation time and running the restaurant into retirement.  Obviously, she won't have time to actually complete the LTW, but I like to have a goal to work towards.

Rhonda Dreamer (see PV 5/9/25) went to work, then earned the skill points needed for her next promotion.  She will join her father Drake in elderhood next round.

Heath Lothario (see PV 5/10/25) was better at staying in his coffin this round.  Maybe he heard me when I decided to only send him back in his coffin a maximum of three times before leaving him to his own care lol.  Randy went to the store, earning a nice profit and a few stars.  Alvin, unfortunately, was fired from his teen job, but he soon rebounded and found another one.

Teddy Fuchs (see PV 5/11/25) got accepted to LFT, where he'll be studying philosophy for a future career in Journalism.  He's probably relieved to leave chaos behind.  Zack and Tamara's relationship is hanging on by a thread; it's fairly likely we'll see a split soon.  Jenna struggled to make it through the day, as she got out of the coffin numerous times, but I managed to keep her alive somehow.

The commune (see PV 5/11/25) was uneventful.

Both Lisa and Shawn Wong (see PV 5/11/25) got promoted and, after the other dog grew up, decided to breed them for a litter of puppies.

This round was a little more productive for the Todd family (see PV 5/11/25).  Meadow gave birth to a baby girl, Autumn and, while she didn't get the logic point she needs, she did get a call from a friend promising to "pull strings" for her at work.  River finally found the job in Criminal that he's been wanting (not sure if that's really a good thing, but it's what he wants lol).  Stone made a friend and began building a few more relationships that could potentially become friendships in the future.

*Sorry for the super long post.  I forgot to post on Thursday and then my internet went down yesterday before I could post, so you're getting three days' worth of simming in one go.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/15/25

Chase and Alyssa Picaso (see PV 5/5/25) have been wanting to go on a beach vacation for quite some time; they even bought a beach house (or what I thought was a house, lol) in preparation, but I've been waiting for Troy to be old enough to go with them.  Since Troy grew into a child last round, I decided the time had come for them to go to Twikki Island.  I was quite surprised to learn that the "beach house" they bought was just a lot with trees and a couple of hammocks, which is perfect for two plantsims like Alyssa and Chase, but not so great for Troy, who needs to eat and stuff.  I considered building a small shelter, but since I usually have sims spend most of their vacation time at community lots, I decided to just wing it and see how it went with keeping Troy's needs up.  In the end, it wasn't too hard to do, apart from hygiene (he returned home very stinky, lol) and everyone had a good time; in fact, they had such a good time that a lullaby was heard.  Upon returning home, they spent a relaxing Sunday together.  Troy met a couple of kids who walked by and his parents got some chores done around the house.  With the new addition arriving in a few days, I've decided to move the family to a new house.  The trailer was fine for just the three of them, but Troy's room is quite small and sharing with a sibling is not really going to work.  I moved them to a house that's been vacant for a while, as the elderly couple who lived there did not have any children to leave the house to; a dog has been placeholding the house.  I'm excited to see how my new mortgage rules work out; Chase and Alyssa are the first sims to take one, so we'll see how it goes.

Demi Butler was in a terrible mood (I think the pregnancy is hitting her hard) so she took a vacation day from work and took care of the toddlers and herself.  I'm not sure if she'll still get the promised promotion when she returns to work, but she was in no shape to go in, so we'll roll with it.  In addition to Demi's vacation pay, Hayden also brought home a paycheck, so the couple was in good enough financial shape by the end of the round to buy a house of their own.  They'll be moving to Pleasant Valley.  Lauren had the night off, which she spent teaching Lily some toddler skills.  She also hired a maid to help out around the house, since the place is absolutely disgusting.

Zoe Picaso (see PV 5/6/25) had the day, which was spent caring for the dogs, teaching one of them a skill for work, and stargazing.  Sadly, one of the dogs (Dina, who is about one day away from dying of old age) ran away from home.  Zoe reported it immediately; hopefully she'll be returned without anything glitching up when she ages.

Taylor Dreamer (see PV 5/6/25) got fired from his Culinary job, but he took a job in Music instead.  He also finished his GED and began working on his degree for Architecture.  Caryl got promoted to the top of her teen career in Business and Ethan had the day off.

Russ Bear (see PV 5/6/25) spent a quiet day at home with his daughter Robin.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/14/25

Orphanage Unit One (see PV 5/5/25) had five kids this round (Kyra Broke's mother regained custody of her.)
Maya Tellerman is causing lots of drama by skipping school and fighting with the other girls.  She was forced to attend class this round, as she had a D-, and brought her grades up slightly as a result.  She will finish high school next round.
Mari Alpha went to school and had the day off from work.
Olivia Landgraab went to school but has shown no interest in getting a job.  Her future is still undecided.
Keegan Alpha and Asia Kim both grew into toddlers.
Michelle, in a surprising turn of events, decided to leave her position at the orphanage in order to move in with Gavin Jacquet, who she very recently got romantically involved with.  It makes sense in a way.  Gavin is very wealthy (or at least his mother is), so he's perhaps a better catch than Derek.  I can see her wanting to get on with her life and raise some children of her own maybe.  Gavin is Family, so he'll definitely be on board as well.  Poor Derek though.  Gavin is an elder now, so maybe Michelle and Derek will reunite after he's gone.  Who knows?  In any event, a new orphanage worker was needed and George McCarthy was moved in to take Michelle's place.  We'll learn more about him next time.

Orphanage Unit Two (see PV 5/5/25) had five kids this round.
The two older boys (Jeremy Landgraab and Beck Tellerman) attended school.
Rachel Landgraab remains a toddler.
Merlin received two new charges - twins Anthony and Ashley Ruben, who remain infants.

Ella Ottomas (see PV 5/5/25) went out with some of her elder lady friends to Hunter's Park before heading out to work.  She was still short a friend, so I didn't expect a promotion, but one of her friends (Tammy Ottomas, who, incidentally, is Ella's ex-husband's aunt) pulled some strings for her, scoring her the final promotion needed to reach her LTW of topping Dance.  She rolled the new LTW to make 20 Pet BFs and will now be running out her vacation time before retiring.

Buffy Summers (see PV 5/5/25) had an uneventful round.  Count Nery did not come by.  I may need to find someone in town who's friends with him to move him in so I can control him and send him into the sun.

Caryl Landgraab's (see PV 5/5/25) business is doing quite well; she ranked up to level 5 and earned a profit of nearly $3500.  Scott had another day off which he spent cleaning, teaching toddler skills to Dustin, and working on charisma skill.  In the evening, Billy grew into a teen with the LTW to top Architecture.  Side note: One of the elder cats died, and a litter of kittens is due next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/13/25

Gladys Bruty (see PV 5/2/25) got a promotion, Dale had a dream date with Jan Tellerman (his first of 50) and bought a car, and Joshua went out with friends.  The younger kids didn't have much going on, but Jeannie did meet the other Jeannie Bruty in the neighborhood, which I found quite funny.  Next round we should see the arrival of the new adopted family member.

Erik Swain (see PV 5/2/25) got promoted and he and Tina welcomed another baby girl, Dana.  I've been trying to restart Tina's mother's animal shelter, but no strays seem to ever come by, so I'm reimagining the shelter as more of a rescue home - the difference being that, instead of adopting strays to give away to other sims, they can adopt pets from the pet adoption service and give them a good home.  They have plenty of money and it would clear out some of the pets in the adoption pool, so that some new ones would generate.  Since they both have the want for a pet right now, it makes sense to me.

The Kims (see PV 5/2/25) had a quiet round.  Amar had the day off, while Melanie worked.  They added a bird to their pet menagerie.  Amar spent the day trying (but not quite managing) to teach one of the cats a skill for their job and making toy robots.  Melanie finally gained the missing skill point she needs.  On a side note, the couple's relationship is not looking too healthy at the moment, which is not very surprising, given that Melanie is carrying on multiple affairs; we'll see what develops for them in the future.

Joe and Sharlene Graham (see PV 5/5/25) welcomed a baby boy, who they named Joseph.  Sadly, Joe didn't have much time to bond with his namesake - he passed away at age 66.  Sharlene will have to carry on alone for now, but at least she has Claire to help out with the kids.  Speaking of Claire, her stepfather's life insurance money allowed her to finally enroll in online classes to get her GED.  The family also got a new puppy to celebrate Randall's child birthday.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/12/25

Justin Kim (see PV 5/1/25) ran the roller rink, Alon checked on the pet store and ran the toy store (which leveled up to rank 2), Brittany had the day off, Charlene got promoted, and Jeanette aged up to teen with a LTW for Education.  In addition, Alon rolled the want to make a wish on the genie lamp and, since he's Fortune, I had him wish for wealth.  The family really needed the cash infusion, what with so many college educations to fund.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/11/25

Armando Ottomas (see PV 4/29/25) finally got his promotion and is all set for another.  Nadine is still using up vacation days; she'll become an elder next round.  Between them, they were finally able to send both Anton and Joanne to boarding school.  Before they left, however, Anton went out to dinner with his former stepfather, Alon Kim, who raised him as his own for most of Anton's life.  I feel like he thinks of Alon as his father more than Armando, given he has no relationship with Armando at all.  Maybe that's his motivation for wanting to go away to school?

Alexis and Alvin Broke (see PV 4/30/25) didn't have too much going on this round.  Alvin is still using up his vacation time.  Alexis ran the salon for a bit before going out with friends, where she impulsively decided to get her nose pierced.

At the Bruty house (see PV 4/30/25), Thomas was the only one who worked, but he didn't get a promotion.  Noel went out with friends, Ivy attempted a dream date (no dice), and Camille finished her GED, took a job as a Gamer, and went out to a club to meet guys.  Eve grew into a teen, rolling the LTW for 50 Dream Dates, and making the decision to pursue a career in Journalism (her hobby is sports, which matches her with either Athletic or Journalism).

Happy Simming!

Thursday, July 10, 2025

Pleasantview 7/10/25

Tess Landgraab (see PV 4/29/25) scored another promotion, as did her son Shane.  The family adopted another kitten and, in the evening, when Stephen woke up, he and Tess worked on teaching the twins to study.  Stephen also invited his sisters and a few of the kids around for some berry pie that Tess whipped up.

Cara Broke (see PV 4/29/25) got a promotion, went out with friends, worked on body skill, and went to sleep.

Lucy Hanby and Aiden Broke (see PV 4/29/25) are now "living together" again; I use this phrase loosely as one of them is undead and they have opposite schedules, so there's not much togetherness.  In any event, I think Lucy is happy to have a cat in the house again (Aiden brought his cat Ariel with him).

Gavin Jacquet (see PV 4/29/25) aged up to elder and I realized that his twin aged up a round or so ago.  I'm not sure how that happened exactly, but I'll check Ryan's age when I get to him and see if I need to adjust one of them somehow so that they match again.  Lila invited some friends over and Gavin fell in love with Michelle Kearney (one of the orphanage workers).  I don't know if it'll go anywhere, but if I recall, Michelle is also in love with one of her fellow workers, so it might get awkward.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/9/25

At Pleasantview Prison (see PV 4/28/25) two new inmates have joined Mason Tellerman and Rosemary Bruty - Alvin Broke and Allegra Phoenix.  Alvin is serving a 6-day sentence, with the possibility of parole after 4 days, though it'll be a long shot for him to be granted parole, as this is his third stint in prison.  It's only Allegra's first time here, but she was given a 12-day sentence, with a minimum of 8 days to be served before parole is an option, so she'll be here a while.

Evan Broke (see PV 4/28/25) aged up to elder this round and, once again, his marriage is on the rocks.  He and Heather are just barely hanging on; we'll have to see how it plays out for these two.  Heather is still working on the last skill point she needs for a promotion.  Hobart wrote a restaurant guide and has taken an interest in stargazing, which could be really interesting in the future.  Charlotte worked on her master's and FINALLY found a job in Medicine.  Hooray!!  Warner met Madison Kim, who he has one bolt for, but they didn't get too close before she headed home.  Baby Harmon should be growing up to toddler next round.  And I've decided to move this family to a new home, as the constant saving to avoid constant crashing is really getting to me.  I'm only taking career rewards and cars with me, so hopefully whatever is causing the issue will be deleted upon moving them out.  They'll start fresh somewhere new and I intend to replace their current house with a copy since it's a bin house anyway.  It'll be a fresh clean lot for whoever ultimately moves in.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/8/25

 At Briarwood Prep...

Girls' Dorm A (see PV 4/27/25) has five students: Amy Broke, Daphne Dreamer, Kylie Greaves, Emily Greaves, and Mariah Landgraab.  Emily (Kylie's younger sister) and Mariah are newcomers.  Everyone focused on school and work this round.  At the end, Amy graduated but opted not to attend Uni; she'll be moving back home with her mother.  Next round, both Daphne and Kylie will graduate.

Boys' Dorm A (see PV 4/27/25) has six students: Julian Delarosa, Ray Grundstrom, Sean Tellerman, and new students Wesley Grundstrom (Ray's younger brother), Marcel Dennis, and Edgar Gieke.  Julian graduated and (just barely) got into SSU, where he'll be played next round.  Ray is set to graduate next round, and the other boys will be here for a while yet.

Boys' Dorm B (see PV 4/27/25) has six students: Glen Gray, Richard Ottomas, Teddy Korman, Steven Ottomas, Parker Ottomas, and new student Shay Bruty.  Incidentally, in case you were wondering, Steven and Parker are cousins, though they don't know each other that well.  Glen graduated and headed off to LFT; both Richard and Teddy will be graduating next round.

Girls' Dorm B (see PV 4/28/25) still has five students: Madison Kim, Violet Grundstrom, Caryl Bruty, Elise Shahan, and Katrina Swain.  Madison skipped school, bringing her grade down to a D, so she'll be forced to attend class next round.  Everyone else went to school, did homework, went to work, and skilled as usual.  No one graduated this round, but Madison and Violet will do so next time.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/4/25

The final dorm is of course Mille House (see PV 4/26/25), where we now have four students (three are incoming freshmen): Savannah Broke, Noelle Tellerman, Aaron GilsCarbo, and Max Deppiesse.
Savannah had dates with both Aaron and Max, though I don't think she's really serious about either of them.  Unfortunately, the guy she is serious about is David Ottomas, who isn't serious about anyone, so there's that.  Her love life aside, she did quite well this round, graduating Summa Cum Laude; she'll be working on her master's for Intelligence next round before leaving campus (likely to move in with her cousin Lucas, but we'll see what happens).
Noelle had a date with headmaster BJ Ryan, which went better than I expected.  She's not in love with him but definitely could be in the future if they continue.  She decided to buy a robot bench, which she spent a good bit of her time working on.  Academically, she scored an A+ for her first term.
Aaron's date with Savannah wasn't that exciting, but he's met a couple other girls who might be better matches for him in the future.  He rolled the want to buy a business and, since his LTW is to have 5 Top Businesses, I'm having him plan on buying Lucky Shack, which he'll make into a sports bar.  He will take out a loan next round and get started on that.  He scored an A+ for his first semester.
Max is pretty into Savannah, but I think he's going to end up getting his heart broken.  I guess we'll see how things go next round.  He also earned an A+ for his first term.

We'll be on to Briarwood next.  Until next time, Happy Simming!

Thursday, July 3, 2025

Pleasantview 7/3/25

At Romara Dorm (see PV 4/25/25) there is just one student remaining: Jason Broke.
Jason finished his sophomore year with an A+, maintaining his 4.0 GPA.

At Lam Plaza (see PV 4/25/25) we have the same two students: Gabriella Hamilton and Kimberli Cox.
Gabi had a date with Lucas Broke and finished junior year with an A+.
Kimberli had a date with Charlie Stallkamp (the aforementioned elderly townie) and also scored an A+ to wrap up her freshman year.

Casteroff still has three students: Darius Goss, Dawn Grundstrom, and Caryl Broke.
Darius spent his time working, then left campus to move in with his girlfriend Alyssa Larson.
Dawn graduated Summa Cum Laude and will spend her final term completing her master's degree in Medicine.
Caryl pledged Tri-Annya, finished freshman year with an A+, and moved to the Greek house, where she'll be played next round.
*Unless some new students move in, this dorm will become vacant after next round when Dawn leaves campus.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/2/25

At Nagard-Fruhm-Cham (see PV 4/24/25) there are still three members: Jess Creelman, Andrew Dreamer, and Jason Fancey.
Jess was invited out by a friend of a friend and I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet women, so I had him accept.  I had to laugh though because, apart from the woman who invited him, all the women in the outing were either pregnant, elderly, or gay.  In addition, more than half the women who showed up on the community lot during the outing were also pregnant - it was just a sea of maternity-wear lol.  Anyway, I digress.  Jess completed his junior year with another A+ and will begin senior year next round.
Andrew graduated Summa Cum Laude and will spend his final term working before (probably) moving back home.
Jason also earned an A+ and will finish his junior year next round.

At Boggs Hall (see PV 4/24/25) Cybil did get accepted to Tri-Annya so, after finishing her freshman year with an A+, she moved to the sorority house, which will leave this dorm empty unless some new students get assigned here.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/1/25

At ALT, we have Blake Tellerman and Amanda Carlson, who moved into a small house on campus last round.  Blake is a senior majoring in physics and Amanda is a freshman majoring in art.  They were pretty strapped for cash after moving in, so they went out to earn a little money by performing music for tips.  It was helpful, but they're still pretty broke.  Academically, they both made the Dean's List and maintained their perfect 4.0s.  Blake will graduate next round, then spend a round working on his master's degree for science, while Amanda will finish freshman year.

Moving on to Tri-Annya Sorority (which was vacant last round except for the placeholder), we have two members: Vicki McGaw and Lauren Greaves.
Vicki is a freshman (as former placeholder, she is an exception to the "no freshmen in Greek houses" rule) lit major.  She earned an A+ for her first semester.
Lauren is a new member, coming in as a junior (drama major).  (Fun fact: Lauren's older sister Sydney was one of the founding members of the sorority.)  She also scored an A+, maintaining her 4.0.  She will begin her senior year next round.
Note: The gardener showed up, pulled like two weeds and left immediately, so the girls spent a good part of their time gardening.  It's still a work in progress, but at least they got the flowers replaced and sprinklers installed so they won't keep dying from neglect.  I will have to try to catch the gardener next time she appears so I can fire/rehire her.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/30/25

Desert Dorm (see PV 4/23/25) had four students: the Tinker twins, Ericka Tellerman, and Clarissa Fancey.
Cord completed his master's degree for Oceanography, while Octavius worked various jobs on campus to earn money.  Since neither of the boys is interested in moving in with their respective love interests, they'll be pooling their money and moving in together.  I haven't decided where just yet, but they have enough cash to buy a house if they want, thanks to their mother's life insurance money.
Ericka and Clarissa both wanted to get into Tri-Fruhm, which they did.  Ericka finished sophomore year, and Clarissa finished freshman year.  They'll both be played at the Greek house next round.  (Side note: Ericka had been dating one of her professors, but she caught her flirting with someone else during their date, so that's over now.)
Since everyone has moved out, this dorm will also be going vacant (like Oasis) unless some new students get assigned here.  Time will tell.

Happy Simming!
