Pleasantview 6/28/25 Round 6
As we begin a new round, I want to mention that I had an idea for another legacy of sorts to add to my rotation. Since I've changed the way aspirations are assigned, I no longer have a way for sims to obtain the Grilled Cheese aspiration. Consequently, I've decided to create a "cheese cult", which will be played along with my other legacies in Bluewater. I have my founder and an apartment lot which will serve as a compound. I'll get into the rules I've set for myself more when I play the lot, but it'll be sort of a hybrid between a legacy and a baby challenge, with a pretty loose rule set. Anyway, let's get on with today's update....
David Ottomas (see PV 4/15/25) had a terrible round. First of all, he was sick the entire time, which made skilling for class much more difficult. Then, he had a date with townie (and Slob) Chris Jones and got rejected for a photo booth woohoo. As if that wasn't enough, the cow mascot (who David despises) crashed his party, causing problems for everyone, including David's parents (his mom is now furious with his dad). In the midst of all that chaos, however, he did manage to graduate with a meager 2.8 GPA. He'll spend his final semester on campus working to earn money for an apartment, as he doesn't need a master's degree for his career goals.

Pleasantview 6/26/25 #2 Alpha and Latte Legacies
It was another chaotic day with the Alpha Legacy (see PV 3/24/21). The family made some progress with getting the new items stocked, but they have a long way to go still. Coral gave birth to two puppies: Darwin and Dixie. I'm really hoping they grow up to be normal looking. As far as finding a husband for Danica goes, we had a setback because Damion Pearson (aka the Slob) was moved into base Pleasantview by one of his love interests, thereby rendering him ineligible for marriage into the legacy. I tried to have Betty put Daniel Landry into a group and invite him over, but he was always "unavailable", so I guess he doesn't like her enough to come over. Perhaps he'll be the cop who delivers the mate for the "D" generation pet heir, but that's kind of a long shot. So, my plan is to keep an eagle eye out for male townies with D names because at the moment no one in the family knows anyone. I may have to send Danica out at some point to actively look for someone, but she still has a few days of teenhood left, so the situation is not critical.
At the Latte house (see PV 3/24/21 #2), I spent a little money on some hobby activities for the elders (they've earned it) and Joy went to the café to earn some cash. They have about a third of what they need saved up, so still a ways to go. Back at home, Joy got her first pop, and I realized that Peter knows a dormie named Derek. He didn't, however, know any of the Alphas, but I had him get friendly with Derek just in case. And then (lucky day!!), Danica walked by! I had Peter greet her and then invite Derek over so they could meet. The only fly in the ointment is that Danica can't stand Derek; they had negative interaction after negative interaction. But no matter because they will like each other once I get done with them lol. Peter saved the day on that one. In other news, baby Jocelyn grew into a toddler.
And that concludes this round of Pleasantview! We'll begin again tomorrow. Happy Simming!
Pleasantview 6/26/25
Jared Starchild (see PV 3/21/21) went to work, then had an outing with friends. I'm hoping that his crush on Tosha Go turns into something more in the future.
Allegra Phoenix (see PV 3/21/21) went to work and promptly got arrested and convicted. I kept her in the household until after 6 p.m. to keep her aging in order, and then sent her off to prison, where she's been sentenced to 12 days (she might get paroled after 8 days). Jimmy took a vacation day to stay home with the twins. He did a little potty training and cleaned the trailer, then hired a nanny to watch the kids while he went out with friends and picked up some groceries. I was planning to move the family to the bigger trailer with two bedrooms, but now that Allegra is out of the picture (at least for the time being), I think they can make it work here. Cheaper rent is better, since they'll be living on one income now.
Bryce Futa (see PV 3/21/21) went to work, then had a date with Claire Ottomas. I thought they might decide to move in together, but Bryce is not ready, so they'll continue as they are for the moment. After returning from his date, Bryce finished working on his GED and will now begin earning his online degree for his eventual switch to Journalism. With everything going on, he didn't have time to earn the body points he need for his current Athletic job, so he'll try to get that done next round.
At the homeless shelter...(see PV 3/22/21)
Ricky Cormier inherited some money from Sasha Dreamer, but didn't work.
Monica Bratford also had the day off. She was arrested, but managed to get acquitted.
Andrzej Greaves worked his elder job and turned 70.
Moon Broke looked for a job in Dance (to no avail), did the crossword for logic, went to work, and then woohoo'd both Max Flexor and Andrzej in succession (she has the LTW to Woohoo 20 sims). She got pregnant by Max, so we'll have a baby to look forward to in the near future.
Alvin Broke was not as lucky as Monica; he was arrested, convicted, and sent to prison.
Dale Futa had the day off and Law Enforcement did not appear in the paper, so he'll continue with Military.
**Some of these sims could technically move out, but for various reasons it doesn't make sense for them to do so, so they'll all (except for Alvin, of course) be remaining here. Btw, Alvin's savings will be remaining in the care of the Servo who placeholds this unit, so they'll be available to him when he gets out of prison.
End homeless shelter
Sage Dreamer (see PV 3/22/21) got some much-needed rest upon returning home from work. Then she invited some friends over, cleaned up the apartment a bit, and got ready for work again - this time in a much better mood.
Charles Grundstrom (see PV 3/23/21) did indeed get promoted; he now needs quite a few skill points, but he'll have plenty of time to work on them, as he's off for the next three days. He and his girlfriend Chloe discussed having another baby but decided against it at this time. Unfortunately for them, Fate had other plans, and they are now expecting baby #2.
Alan Korman (see PV 3/23/21) has plenty of skills for his next promotion, but he struggles to maintain friendships, so his career is stalled until he brings his friend count up. Consequently, he was unable to come up with the rent. He should earn enough next round to catch up, but if he gets too far behind, he'll be evicted.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/21/25
Ashley Pitts (see PV 3/20/21) went to work, then went out for a while, before inviting over his next conquest to seal the deal. He now has five notches in his bedpost and has rolled the want for ten.
Upon moving into her new apartment, Melissa Fancey had just enough money to buy beds for the twins and a chair to go with the folding table she had in inventory. Unfortunately, she and Dalton had the day off, and Cheyenne is not able to get a job with her low grades, so no one was able to bring in any income. Melissa didn't let that stop her from going out with her friends though; it's been a long time since she was able to do so. While at the mall, she hooked up with Goopy (the twins' father), so I guess she's decided to let bygones be bygones. Luckily, she's too old to get pregnant, so no worries on that front.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/20/25
Kevin Beare (see PV 3/19/21) got a promotion and then threw a building party to celebrate. He's saved up enough money to move to a better place, so he'll likely do that in the near future.
A lot of changes have occurred for Caryl Grundstrom (see PV 3/19/21). The round started off bad but ended on a (somewhat) hopeful note. Caryl did not get a promotion at work and was, therefore, unable to make a full payment on her student loan, which resulted in a substantial amount of interest being added to her balance. However, upon returning home, she finally found her dream job in Business and then had a romantic dinner with Joel Hanby at Londoste, during which they decided to move in together. She will, of course, be moving to his place because, despite him having two roommates, his place is much preferable to the hole she currently lives in. They celebrated with a little woohoo that ended in a lullaby. I really hope it all works out for these two, but I have my doubts given that Joel is involved with (at least) two other women (which I know because he simultaneously rolled wants to marry all three during his date with Caryl). Even though the pregnancy complicates things, the couple has decided to keep the baby and make the best of it.
Isabelle Greaves has just moved into Las Casas Baratas and she's already struggling. She didn't find a job in Athletic but took one in Law Enforcement. Unfortunately, she was off on the first day, so no income. After purchasing a bed, she has $26 left to her name. She went out with some friends, but didn't have a very good time, as they were playing poker and she couldn't afford to play.
Life is not going to get back to normal for Morgan Alpha (see PV 3/20/21) just yet. She got a promotion at work and then found a job in Natural Science, which was great. However, what was not great was the fact that she hooked up with Ashley Pitts from across the hall and is pregnant once again. She's literally slept with two sims and got knocked up by them both lol. She will be giving up this baby also, as she's in no position to raise a child.
Since I last played Martin and Greg Dreamer (see PV 3/20/21) some drama unfolded. It seems both guys were involved with Alyssa Picaso (a married woman) and Greg caught her with Martin, which caused a rift between the brothers. I decided that if they didn't patch things up by the end of the round, I'd move one of them out. The day progressed and Martin ran his business and had a date with Calista Fuchs, who he is absolutely smitten with. Unfortunately, she's not the commitment type and has no interest in getting more serious at the moment. Since his only other love interest is Alyssa, who's unavailable to him, he decided to make his own family and spawn a plant baby, Helen. Greg had a date with (also married) Christy Ramirez, during which his other brother Brad showed up and, while Greg was in the bathroom bathing little Helen, he and Christy started making out in the living room. Evidently, Greg is involved with (yet another) married woman, who is involved with (yet another) one of his brothers. The guy can't catch a break lol. He didn't see them together, however, and Christy left shortly thereafter, so it's a problem for another day. These brothers not only have a predilection for married women - they keep falling for the SAME women!! 😲 (Note: Since Martin and Greg are on pretty good terms again, I kept them both living here for now.)
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/19/25
Emily Lee (see PV 3/19/21) spent a quiet day at home, catching up on some chores. She went out with friends in the evening and managed to bump up her friend count. She's still working on the body point she needs, however.
Jasper Roseland (see PV 3/19/21) spent the day trying (and failing) to recover from the mysterious disease. Later, he went out with friends and took a job in Show Business, as Music has yet to appear.
Gunnar Roque and Jasmine Rai (see PV 3/19/21) did not have much going on this round. Jasmine had the day off. Gunnar worked, but was short a cleaning point, so didn't get promoted. He invited some friends over before work and he and Jasmine had some steamy alone time after.
Calvin and Noah Latte (see PV 3/19/21) both worked (Noah got promoted), then they went out for dinner, where Noah attempted asking several ladies on dates, but was rejected each time. Upon returning home, Noah worked on skills for his next promotion.
Jessie Pilferson (see PV 3/19/21) went to work, then went out with Daniel Larson. They had a great outing which earned her a body point. At home she rolled the want to study physiology, which I thought would be useful, given that she needs another body point for work. She still has not found a job in Music, so she'll stick with Show Business for now.
Sydney Greaves and Alyssa Larson got settled into their new apartment at Village Condos. They didn't have a ton of money for furnishings, but they've got the essentials. Neither was able to find their desired job, so they took jobs in Culinary (Syd) and Dance (Alyssa).
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/18/25
Guy Wrightley (see PV 3/16/21) went to work, then immediately to his business, managing to earn just enough money between the two to be able to pay his rent next round. That's a good thing, since he'll be off both his jobs next time.
Ben Tellerman (see PV 3/16/21) went out and met some new people, then went off to work and went straight to bed upon his return home. He awoke later on to find his brother Tyler on his couch. Tyler recently graduated and, since there's no room at their mom's house (or their older sister's), and their dad is in prison, he ended up here. He took a job in the Athletic career while he waits for Criminal to come up. I wonder if Ben knows his brother is planning to follow in their father's footsteps?
Phineas and Roxie (see PV 3/16/21) both worked, then threw a party and did some skilling. Both are still fighting the mysterious disease, so they're not all that happy at the moment.
Will Bruty's household (see PV 3/17/25) was incredibly successful this round. Quinn Leong had the day off; he worked on his skills and invited his daughter Harper over. Will got promoted at work and gained the skills needed for his next promotion. With the money he earned from his promotion, he was able to pay the fee for Ella's GED, which she completed by the end of the round. She looked for a job right away and Music was the first on the list! Will subsequently got Anna started on her GED as well; she will work on it next round. While their dad was as work, the twins went out to a community lot and Anna scored her first "first date" with a townie who came by. It's only the first of many to come, but you gotta start somewhere, right? Will's crush (the landlord Elle Long) called and asked him on a date in the evening; they fell in love and had their first woohoo, but even though they both want to get engaged, it's unlikely to happen since Elle is a Romance sim.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/17/25
Chaz Whippler (see PV 3/15/21) did not get promoted (grrr) but he did earn enough to buy himself a proper bed, so that's something. Joel and Tom both had the day off, which they spent skilling. In the evening, they threw a party.
Arianna and Zoe Bruty (see PV 3/15/21) have been at odds for a while now, and this round they reached their breaking point. They ended their marriage and Zoe moved back to the trailer park where their relationship started, which is kind of bittersweet, as she was not the one who "wanted" (per my in-game rules) the divorce. Jeannie will be staying with Ari, and they also added a third cat to the household, which is maybe Ari's way of consoling her daughter?
Happy Simming!
Monday, June 16, 2025
Pleasantview 6/16/25
Meredith Landgraab (see PV 3/14/21) took another day off; Jessie also had the day off. Mariah and Colton both rolled the want to attend private school but, since the boys' dorms are currently full, only Mariah could attend. I think it'll be a good opportunity for her to make some friends, as she's been struggling with that. It will, however, be the first time she's ever been separated from her twin sister Whitney, so she might feel a little weird on her own.
I had to play the Custer/Grundstrom/Broke household (see PV 3/15/21) THREE TIMES!!! It just kept crashing every time I tried to save. Finally, on the third time, I saved every six hours and managed to get through it. Sheesh!!! I tried to keep things as close to the same as possible, but there were a few minor differences (mostly chance card/promotion related). In the end, Mark got promoted and will have the next few days off, the twins worked but did not get promoted, and Lexie had the day off. They also adopted another puppy for a total of three dogs now.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/15/25
Chris and Xavier Sims (see PV 3/13/21) both had the day off, which was spent sleeping and cleaning, respectively. Baby Jada grew into a toddler and Chris taught her to walk. The couple also decided that it was a good time to have another baby, so they are now expecting their third child together. They adopted a puppy as well, which means they are quickly outgrowing their apartment and will soon need to think about buying a house.
Jane Nova (see PV 3/13/21) unfortunately got demoted at work. Castor had the day off and worked on body skill (but didn't get any). He had some friends over and they all went for a jog, but he still did not earn a body point. He did, however, roll the want to study physiology, so I guess he knows about the glitch that allows sims to build body skills rapidly.
William Williamson (see PV 3/13/21) got promoted and got straight to work on skilling. Blossom worked, but no promotion. (She also didn't pop?) Matthew had the day off and decided to adopt a puppy; he also wants a kitten, but he's broke.
Eric Landgraab's round (see PV 3/14/21) was uneventful.
Happy Simming!
Thursday, June 12, 2025
Pleasantview 6/12/25
Amy and Meadow Shahan (see PV 3/11/21) decided to call it quits on their marriage this round. Things have been spiraling down for a while now, so the end was more or less inevitable. Jackson will remain with Amy and Meadow will be getting her own place.
Stella Terrano (see PV 3/12/21) got promoted, then had her first pop. Erik still hasn't found a job in Slacker. Klara had the day off and worked on her skills in the evening. (Blossom, of course, moved in with William Williamson, so is no longer living here.) Stella and Erik will likely need to find a new place soon, as he and Klara do not get along at all.
Shanna Copur (see PV 3/12/21) ran her shop this round, earning about $300 overall. She is still unable to restock the perfume or the clothing racks. Back at home Sarah made a whopping $750 from financial consulting, which gives the couple about half the rent money. (Sadly, I don't think their landlord is open to negotiation.) It looks like next round might be Sarah's last, which is a tough blow for Shanna, not only emotionally, but also financially. Phillip is not doing that well in school and may not end up getting into college after all. Jeff will become a teen next time.
Happy Simming!
Wednesday, June 11, 2025
Pleasantview 6/11/25
Patrick Wong (see PV 3/10/21) finally got the promotion and then went out with some friends; they stopped by a pet store where he bought a dog. Back at home he worked on skills until dawn. Devin worked but didn't get promoted.
Pamela Broke (see PV 3/10/21) decided to adopt this round and it made me think maybe she felt guilty about giving up her child years ago, so I thought - what if sims could get their kids back if they "change their minds" about parenthood (and the kid is still at the orphanage of course)? So, I amended the rules to allow that, and I moved Pamela's daughter Kyra (who is now a teen) back in with her. I think it will be interesting to see how their relationship progresses. I haven't yet decided what role (if any) Kyra's bio dad will have in her life, but I guess we'll navigate that as we go.
Happy Simming!
Tuesday, June 10, 2025
Pleasantview 6/10/25
The only event of note at the alien lot (see PV 3/8/21) was Zaira leaving for college. She'll be going to SSU to pursue a Gaming career.
Cooper Seifert (see PV 3/9/21) decided to take a job in Music given that his degree is on hold for the moment due to lack of funds, he and Elise have two kids (and two more on the way after Elise started craving cheesecake) to support, and Elise has a significant amount of maternity leave saved up. Next round Calvin will age up and the twins will be born.
Everyone in the Bruty household (see PV 3/9/21) went to work, but no promotions this round. Michelle got a call from Goopy for a second date, which ended in woohoo. Marie and Kevin worked on skills.
Happy Simming!
Saturday, June 7, 2025
Pleasantview 6/7/25
The plant sim lot was uneventful.
Mia Landry (see PV 3/8/21) got a demotion at work due to a bad chance card. Liam had the day off and went out to a club while Mia was at work. However, the game crashed when he was returning home and none of his community lot stuff was saved. I didn't feel like doing it over so it's whatever. I don't really feel like Liam is the cheating type anyway, so maybe now that he's a vampire who wants 20 woohoos, he'll just be a serial monogamist? He's literally only had two partners in his life - his ex-wife and Mia - so it makes sense really.
That's it for today. Next time will be the alien lot. Happy Simming!
Friday, June 6, 2025
Pleasantview 6/6/25
Goopy GilsCarbo (see PV 3/6/21) got a promotion, then he and Brandon went out to Red's for dinner. They met some ladies and had a good time before coming home to crash for the night.
Geoffrey Ottomas (see PV 3/7/21) made a big decision. Since his son Richard is a teen, and younger son Damon will soon be as well, Geoffrey wants to try his hand at fatherhood one more time. None of his relationships have been particularly successful, so he chose to appeal to the aliens once more, and they obliged him with another pregnancy.
Mira Leong (see PV 3/7/21) finished her master's degree and can now concentrate fully on skilling for her job in Oceanography. Braden Dreamer inherited a sizable amount from his father Nathan, and then looked for Gamer, but it still didn't come up, so he'll continue in Adventure for now.
Happy Simming!
Thursday, June 5, 2025
Pleasantview 6/5/25
Calvin Dreamer (see PV 3/4/21) had an uneventful round.
Dagmar Grundstrom (see PV 3/5/21) didn't find a job, but she did have some friends over and she started a painting.
The Sharpe/Indie household (see PV 3/5/21) was tame. Everyone had the day off and worked on skills. Delilah had her first pop; no drama occurred.
DJ and Calista Verse (see PV 3/5/21) had a few friends over for a barbeque before Calista worked her night shift (where she did not get promoted).
Max Flexor (see PV 3/5/21) got promoted at work, which gave him enough money to pay for the first part of his master's degree. He finished it almost immediately, however, which makes me think he must have started it when he was in Uni and just didn't finish it for some reason. I honestly don't remember. I contemplated just counting it as having been done in Uni, but ultimately, I decided to just count it as the first part and have him do the second part as well (which he paid for out of the income from the first part). Unfortunately, he didn't find a job in Politics, so he'll have to wait a bit longer to apply any of his newfound knowledge.
Brian Donnelly (see PV 3/6/21) spent a quiet Sunday at home with the kids. Bridget was supposed to have a play date but, sadly, she doesn't have any friends, so I just had her greet a couple of kids who walked by to play with. Aaron went to work and scored a promotion to the top of his teen job, which was not only useful in building household savings, but it will also qualify him for a college scholarship.
Happy Simming!
Wednesday, June 4, 2025
Pleasantview 6/4/25
Jan Tellerman (see PV 3/3/21) worked, then threw a building party, during which no one from the building ever entered her apartment (they just hung out downstairs by the stereo), yet it was still a good time lol. She did finally manage to get her skills done for the next promotion, so that should happen next round.
At the House of Fallen Trees (see PV 3/3/21) Matthew got promoted, while Maura had the day off. Maura still needs one more friend for a promotion. Trinity was turned by her father and then accepted to La Fiesta Tech. She is the first of her family to go to college - hope she survives. India also grew into a teen so we're moving slowly ahead with the plan for a crime base. Constance still has a few days before she'll be out of the house.
Andrzej Landgraab (see PV 3/3/21) was able to pay off his student loan this round, so that will be a huge load off his shoulders going forward. He didn't get promoted, but it looks good for next round. Also next round, Lane will grow up and the new baby will be born.
Eric Parker (see PV 3/4/21) got promoted to judge; he'll now have a couple of days off to work on skills. Sophie Young finally found her dream job in Criminal, so we'll see how that goes for her.
Clarence and Tracy Ramirez (see PV 3/4/21) welcomed twin boys this round (Edwin and Ernest). They're in pretty good shape financially so, for once, twins will not be a problem for them. However, should they have a third child in the near future, they'll probably want to start looking for a larger place.
Happy Simming!
Tuesday, June 3, 2025
Pleasantview 6/3/25
Nick Broke and Yvette Kim (see PV 2/28/21) still do not have the cash to move to a house (I'm thinking about instituting mortgages, but I have to think about it some more), so I'm keeping them here for now. I think I've worked out a way to squeeze all three kids into the one bedroom, but it'll be tight. With my luck, there'll be TWO new babies in the family.
Rose and Nerissa Gregory (see PV 3/1/21) decided (against all odds) this round to adopt a child. Since they didn't quite have enough money, I had to wait until after they went to work (Rose got promoted btw) to make the call to the adoption agency. Consequently, their new family member will not be arriving until Sunday morning. I did have them go ahead and get the room ready in preparation.
AJ Broke (see PV 3/2/21) ran his cafe, but didn't make any money. In fact, he lost money. At least he still has his pension from when he was mayor and can do financial consulting on the side. Gloria had the day off again and Xavier got his next promotion and sold a painting. They should be in good shape once the rent comes due, which is not for a while in any event.
Happy Simming!
Monday, June 2, 2025
Pleasantview 6/2/25
Orlando Bertino (see PV 2/27/21) got promoted and Teri dragged her grade up to a C+, for which Orlando rewarded her with a little dog she's been wanting. The dog is very elderly, however, so I don't think he'll be around very long. (I think he used to belong to Brandon Tellerman, but got taken away.) I'm looking forward to something possibly happening with Orlando and Elise Bruty next round. Stay tuned.
Clarence and Erin Philippine (see PV 2/27/21) have improved their relationship slightly, so they might just hang in there through this rough patch. Erin had her first pop and is now on maternity leave. Clarence got a promotion and will now have a couple days off. They also bought a telescope and a bird for Crystal and their kitten grew up.
Renaud Delarosa and Brooke Lawson (see PV 2/27/21) spent a quiet Sunday at home. They did a little cleaning and a little studying. Renaud invited his sons over to add to their college funds. Brooke had purchased a bird cage and a womrat cage at some point, so I let her place/stock them. Nothing earthshattering occurred.
Heather Huffington (see PV 2/28/21) got yet another bad chance card - this one got her fired! She nearly died (again), but I managed to save her (again). Later on, she looked for another job, but Music was not available, so she took Artist for the time being. Martin had the day off which he spent with friends. They did not have the money to pay the rent, so I'm hoping Martin will make enough next round to get them caught up.
The big news for Joshua and Tiffany Ruben (see PV 2/28/21) is that they had TWINS!! However, if you recall, they had decided not to keep them, so little Anthony and Ashley will be residing at Pleasantview Orphanage. Joshua still didn't find the job he wants, but he has a few days off to work on the skills for the job he has.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 6/1/25
The Long family (see PV 2/24/21) is still suffering from the slow time glitch, but everything else seems normal at the moment, so I didn't move them out. Cole went to work and earned a much-needed promotion. Brittany continued to take maternity leave and spent her day cleaning the house and caring for baby Justin, who grew into a toddler this round. The couple also decided to try for another baby, which will be due in a few days (or less maybe?)
Jace and Nancy Rusewicz (see PV 2/25/21) have improved on their relationship a bit but, in the meantime, the twins' grades have been suffering. They just managed to get caught up on their homework, so maybe the situation will improve next round. Money is getting really tight; Jace had the day off and Nancy got fired right before she had her first pop.
Calista Copur (see PV 2/25/21) got her body point and, subsequently, got promoted. After work, she went out with some friends, then got a good night's sleep. She needs body points for her next promotion, which she'll work on next round when she has the day off.
Frances and Marion Worthington (see PV 2/25/21) both got promoted, so they're in good shape when the rent comes due. They also had a date which ended in a lullaby. However, they've decided the time is not right for them to grow their family, so they'll be giving the little one up when it's born.
Almeric Davis and Anna Lawson (see PV 2/26/21) also found themselves expecting a new little bundle of joy which, unlike the Worthingtons, they will be keeping. They both had the day off, so no money came in and finances are tight right now. At least they had time to teach Hope some toddler skills.
Not only did Christy Ramirez (see PV 2/26/21) not get promoted - she actually got demoted! At least it gave her some extra time to work on her master's, which she finished. Checo went to his hobby lot to paint; he earned a couple hundred bucks, but did not paint a masterpiece. When he returned home, he and Christy decided that now would be the perfect time to have a baby. Never mind the fact that they barely have enough money to pay the rent, they can only come up with money for Rusty's college fund about half the time, they just got a new kitten, and Checo will likely not live long enough to even meet the new baby! It's going to be messy lol - just the way I like it!

Pleasantview 5/31/25
Jonah Powers (see PV 2/20/21) worked, had some friends over, and cleaned up the house a bit. He also inherited $1000 from Sasha Dreamer, which will allow him to afford a repairman for the computer.
The Gothiers (see PV 2/20/21) spent the day teaching Anton toddler skills and adopting a new kitten, then threw a party in the evening.
Delia Ottomas (see PV 2/20/21) had a much-needed day off. She did some gardening, cleaned the house, and went out with some friends while the kids were off at school. Later, she worked on teaching the twins to study, but neither of them quite got there, as everyone is sick and had to keep running to the bathroom. In other news, Delia inherited some money from her dad, Nathan, and was able to remodel the house a bit to give Lily her own room. They are still planning to move in with Luke asap, but they'll be here at least one more round, so why not?
Lois Tellerman (see PV 2/21/21) IS, in fact, pregnant with Joshua Ruben's baby. Consequently, she was in a terrible mood all round (not helped by the fact that she's also sick with the flu) and was unable to go to work (not that she would have been promoted anyway because of the poor mood). She took care of Cheryl (barely), got a repairperson in to fix the broken stuff, paid the bills, and tried to rest a little in between throwing up and passing out. To top it all off, Gail has been falling behind in homework and now has a D, and Lois's date with Joshua went so badly (due to the constant passing out) that it nearly killed her. The house is a mess, the kids will be taken away if Gail's grades don't come up, and Lois can barely manage to keep herself alive. (She's also still broke.) So, out of the frying pan, into the fire. Poor thing.
Russell and Trudi Broke (see PV 2/22/21) both worked, but neither was promoted. When they got home, the whole family went out to a cafe in Bluewater for the afternoon. Trudi had her first pop later on and then broke the computer, preventing anyone from working on their studies. Russell did, at least, get the skills he needs for his next promotion. I also decided to expand the backyard a bit, adding some play equipment and a pool for the family to enjoy. They've earned it after so many years in that trailer park.
Claire Tellerman (see PV 2/23/21) got her computers fixed and was thus able to finish her GED just before dawn. She doesn't have enough money to start on her degree yet, so she'll need to do some more financial consulting to save up. Jesse had a play date before aging up to teen and rolling the LTW for Architecture.
Zena Dreamer (see PV 2/23/21) did not get a promotion, but she and Nevada got a substantial inheritance from Nathan. Zena used some of the money to upgrade the kitchen. Nevada is still very sad about her father's passing; she spent most of the day crying. Next round she'll grow into a teen.
Marie Mazza and Andrew Gergis (see PV 2/24/21) decided to get married this round. They also both got promoted, so they've got a decent sum of cash on hand. Since Theo will be growing up next round, I think they'll need to look into moving to a bigger house.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 5/30/25
Darcy Broke (see PV 2/18/21) spent her Sunday cleaning the house, doing yoga, and working on her novel.
It was birthday time in the Gray family (see PV 2/19/21). Michael grew into an adult, opted not to attend Uni, and will continue to live at home while pursuing a Slacker career. Dante grew into a teen, rolling a LTW for Law Enforcement, and Harper became a child. Aiyana got promoted at work and the family adopted two new puppies (litter mates from Amar Bigfoot's colorful pet project) and spent a little money on household furnishings. Next round Jeannie will reach adulthood; she's still weighing her options with college, but she doesn't need it for Dance and, at the moment, she doesn't have enough skills to be accepted anyway, so probably she's not going.
Allyn Shahan (see PV 2/19/21) took a vacation day to care for Galen and work on her cleaning skill. The twins both went to school, then Lawson took his friend Nevada Dreamer to the park for a little R&R. He's a bit older than her, but it makes sense that he'd want to take her mind off the fact that her father recently passed away, and I don't think she's TOO much younger, so it may turn into something more once she joins him in teenhood.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 5/29/25
Luc Young (see PV 2/16/21) had an uneventful round. He spent his day off doing chores.
Joe Carr (see PV 2/17/21) reached the top of the Dance career this round, which is his second LTW complete (his first was topping Adventure). He subsequently rolled Gamer for his new LTW and, since he didn't have any vacation days banked, looked for (and found) the job immediately. On a side note, this family is incredibly wealthy, with $118,546 in household funds.
Elise Bruty (see PV 2/17/21) worked, had some friends over, and did some household chores. I also noticed that she's in love with Orlando Bertino, which I guess happened on his last round, and I really like them as a couple. We'll see how it goes.
Brandon Tellerman (see PV 2/17/21) got a promotion and Bruce had an outing with three ladies, two of whom he's romantically involved with, but managed to play it cool and avoid being slapped silly.
Annabeth Copur (see PV 2/17/21) earned a huge (chance card) bonus at work, but she's still short friends so no promotion. In the evening, she spent some time with her brother AJ and sister Brittany.
Moving on to Pleasant Valley...
Tina Traveller (see PV 2/18/21) had an outing with some of her friends from boarding school. While she was out, she met a couple of eligible men. She also decided to adopt a toddler, who will arrive next round. Back at home, Amar finally got the first litter of colorful kittens on the way. In the evening, Tina looked for, but did not find, a job in Adventure and her parents' ghosts had a rollicking good time trying to scare poor Amar to death. He only barely survived till morning.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 5/28/25
Florence Delarosa (see PV 2/15/21) spent a quiet day at home with her four-legged friends.
The Cox family (see PV 2/15/21) spent the day at home, taking care of Phoebe and teaching her toddler skills.
Ty Bubbler (see PV 2/15/21) did not find a job in Music, he did not get promoted in Culinary, and he still cannot pay his overdue rent. So...pretty much the usual.
This round was pretty quiet for Andrew Ottomas and family (see PV 2/16/21). The twins went to school and Gideon caught up on his homework. One of the cats died and a new kitten was adopted. Next round the twins will reach adulthood and determine if they are college-bound and the new baby will be born.
Ryan Jacquet (see PV 2/16/21) had an uneventful round.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 5/27/25
Miley Futa (see PV 2/13/21) did indeed die this round at the age of 74. As soon as Blaze finishes college, he'll inherit everything (including the cat) and move in.
The Ottomas family (see PV 2/13/21) was uneventful.
Everyone in the Picaso household (see PV 2/14/21) had the day off. Griffin taught Oliver to study. Stuart worked on skills for his LTW.
Jace Lothario (see PV 2/14/21) took boyfriend Charles with him to the gallery. They worked the event, made very little money, and went back home where Charles earned a charisma point for work.
Rebecca Larson (see PV 2/14/21) is enjoying the maternity leave part of her pregnancy at least. Money for nothing, right? In other news, both she and her mom had dates, but they were not particularly eventful.
Happy Simming!
Thursday, May 22, 2025
Pleasantview 5/22/25
The GilsCarbos (see PV 2/11/21) had a pretty chill round. Marylena worked on a new car, Adam worked on skills and got a promotion, and Garrett earned several skill points, which allowed him to get accepted to college. He's headed to SSU.
Margaret Dreamer (see PV 2/11/21) had an uneventful round. She appears to only have a few days left on her life bar.
Isabella Landgraab (see PV 2/12/21) worked but didn't get promoted as she's short friends. Luckily, she brought home a co-worker, who later called to say he's her boss's cousin and she'll be getting a promotion next time she goes into work.
James Radcliffe (see PV 2/12/21) got a promotion, Isabella went out with some "friends" (she's juggling a whopping NINE love interests) but still did not find a job in Adventure, and I mistakenly said that Julie would be aging up this round when, in fact, it will be next round (for sure this time, lol).
Lynn Tinker (see PV 2/12/21) took a vacation day to run the business and made a pretty decent profit. My original plan was to have her use up all her vacation days and then run the shop full-time, but I've changed my mind because it seems like a shame to waste the master's degree she worked so hard to earn. So, the new plan is to have her run the store as much as she can (on regular days off and by taking vacation days) and try to hire a manager so that she can check in on days she can't get over there. I feel like she'd want to keep the business going to pass on to one of her children, but that it's not really her passion, so she'd want to keep pursuing her career goals as well.
Happy Simming!
Wednesday, May 21, 2025
Pleasantview 5/21/25
The Larsons (see PV 2/9/21) spent a quiet round at home since they both had the day off. In the evening, Cody grew into a toddler and Alicia had her first pop. The pregnancy has been pretty draining, so she didn't have a chance to work on her GED.
Lucas Broke (see PV 2/9/21) got another kitten (that's three cats total now) and decided to adopt a child, which makes sense as he, himself, is adopted. I guess he wants to pay it forward. The child will arrive next round.
Tammy Ottomas (see PV 2/10/21) had the day off which she spent caring for the baby and cleaning the house. Griff went to work but, of course, did not get promoted because he was still short logic points. He managed to get one point later on but still needs another. He'll have plenty of time to work on it now that he's on paternity leave.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 5/20/25
Omg guys, the Goth family (see PV 2/8/21) was super annoying this round. I lost track of how many times I played them. Every time I tried to save the game would freeze and/or crash. I finally got through the day by saving every six hours, but even then, it crashed a couple of times. I don't know what's up with this lot, but the end results were Stephan turning 70, Sarah reaching second pop, and everyone remaining alive (Rebekah died during one unsuccessful save).
Grace Butler (see PV 2/8/21) decided to move in one of her love interests, Damion Pearson. Damion is a former Slob, with the LTW to top Culinary and a current job of Slacker. Luckily, neither his current job, nor his desired one, require any education, which is exactly how much he has. Grace worked, but didn't get promoted, as she is still several skills short. Corbin grew into a teen, with a LTW to own 5 top businesses, and Charity became a child. Corbin would like to attend private school, but even if there was room for him at Briarwood, they can't afford to send him.
Happy Simming!
Monday, May 19, 2025
Pleasantview 5/19/25
Amelia Pearson (see PV 2/7/21) had one last trick up her sleeve - she's hanging in for one more round, with just a tiny sliver left on her life bar. She will definitely be moving on next time though, after which Delia and the kids will move in. In other news, Lane and Lee grew into children and I noticed that Luke's sister Stacy also named her son Lane. Oops!
Carter Broke (see PV 2/7/21) got another promotion and began working on skills for the next. Dylan hung around the house with friends, children, and grandchildren. It looks like next round will be the end of the road for Dylan.
Happy Simming!
Friday, May 16, 2025
Pleasantview 5/16/25
The Alphas (see PV 2/5/21) spent a quiet Saturday at home. In the evening, they threw party, which resulted in some slaps for Bryan, but it's nothing he's not used to. I am a bit concerned about the fact that Bryan seems to have "forgotten" that Chris Sims is his sister. Belinda still recognizes her as family and the family tree is intact, showing Chris and Bryan as siblings, yet he now has chemistry for her which is just icky. As if I didn't have enough to worry about with keeping Christian Cox away from his biological sisters, who were taken by the social worker and adopted by other people, now I have to keep Bryan and Chris apart too? Yikes!
Toby Grundstrom (see PV 2/6/21) did not decide to move in with Claire, much to my disappointment. He did roll to move in with Lila Ottomas, but I felt it just wasn't feasible, given that he'd have to take Roger with him and, when he dies (in probably 2 days?), Roger would have to move again to live with his mom. Moving teens around is a pain and, since Toby would not have the benefit of completing his LTW with Lila, it didn't seem worth the trouble. In other news, one kitten was born and Marcus and Melody's baby (actually, I suspect BABIES) will be born next round.
At the Jones/McCullough house, the guys worked and both got promoted, Audrey and Darlene cleaned up the house and worked on skills, and in the evening, they threw a party. And that was pretty much it lol. They're not super exciting, despite being a family of werewolves.
Happy Simming!
Thursday, May 15, 2025
Pleasantview 5/15/25
Wanda Smith (see PV 2/4/21) did indeed meet her maker this round. She was 72 and the mother of six children. Life was always a struggle for Wanda, but she managed to persevere through it all. RIP Wanda. Weldon graduated high school, but did not get accepted to college. Wanda's life insurance money will allow him to move out on his own, however. Not sure where he'll be going just yet, but there are several rentals available, so I'll find something for him. Violet Grundstrom called and invited Amar on another date, which went very well - he's smitten. He immediately rolled the want to attend private school (Violet is at Briarwood), but there's no room for him at the moment and it wouldn't make sense to send him anyway since he's growing up in a couple of days. Ruby will grow into a child next round.
Katie Tellerman (see PV 2/5/21) had some of the kids over to hand out college funds and spent the rest of the day hanging out with them. Her cat ran away, which is sad; hopefully she'll be returned next round.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 5/14/25
Things are looking up for Hailey and Evan Dreamer (see PV 2/1/21). Evan did indeed return home with a promotion, giving them enough money for all the kids' college funds. He went out to celebrate with friends and, later that evening, Brendan grew into a child and Hailey had her first pop. Evan didn't have time to get the skills needed for his next promo, but he went back to work very early in the morning and got a chance card which promoted him again, bringing in a very nice bonus as well. Now he needs a ton of skills, but it's okay because he has a ton of money to tide him over. The only dark cloud was Hunter deciding to skip school yet again, which means he now has a D average (which is considered failing in this 'hood); he will be forced to go to school next round.
Megan and Travis Broke (see PV 2/1/21) both got promotions, Travis had some friends over, and Megan decided to build a sauna in the backyard.
Daniel Larson (see PV 2/2/21) ran the bookstore, where he continued training his employee to take over as manager. Now that Lisa has "retired", it's even more important to get a new manager in place so he can focus more on the gallery. Brooke and Bri both had days off again; Bri had some friends over. Sabrina grew into a teen with the LTW for 20 pet bfs. She may become a candidate for the commune in the future.
Tosha Go (see PV 2/4/21) decided it was time she figured out a way to earn a living and thus, she took out a business loan and bought a flower shop in Bluewater Village. She believes there's a demand for an after-hours flower vendor, which will cater to customers who, for whatever reason, can't shop during the day. Since Claire is a retiree, living on a pension with two sons in college, she'll be helping out at the shop in exchange for a cut of the profits.
Happy Simming!
Monday, May 12, 2025
Pleasantview 5/12/25
The Futa family (see PV 1/30/21) was fairly uneventful. Tosha worked, but did not get promoted because she was short a cleaning point. When she got home from work, she and Blake went out to the rec center in town for a bit, then she finished up studying for her point and went to bed.
Mallory Andersen (see PV 1/30/21) got promoted and worked on skills for her next promotion. She and Holly decided to adopt another child, who will arrive next round. Their relationship is getting a little shaky, but they did some work to improve it. Hope grew into a child. Naomi had the day off from the rec center and spent most of her time either sleeping or playing the drums.
Solveig Platz (see PV 1/31/21) took another vacation day and worked on skills. Next round she will reach retirement age. Ratna worked, then went out with some friends. Todd got a promotion and decided to adopt a toddler, which makes sense as he himself is adopted.
Lakshmi Broke (see PV 1/31/21) didn't see Calvin this round, so their relationship hasn't progressed to the marriage level. Consequently, she needed a way to make herself feel young, so she did the obvious thing and decided to adopt a baby on her own. I guess it's not the craziest idea, as she is quite wealthy, has a nice house, and already has six children, but still. The baby will arrive next round. Ricky tried to have an outing with some friends, but none of them but one liked him enough to show up, so he'll have to work on meeting and befriending some sims.
Jonathan Greaves (see PV 2/1/21) retired this round. He's certainly earned his pension. Demi got a promotion, and Emily grew into a teen with a LTW to earn $100,000. I'm planning on a Business career for her. She rolled the want to go to private school, so her parents sent her off to join her sister Kylie at Briarwood Prep. They'll be sharing a dorm there.
Happy Simming!
Sunday, May 11, 2025
Pleasantview 5/11/25
Zack Tellerman (see PV 1/28/21) retired this round. Now he can focus on enjoying himself and spending time with family. Jenna got in her outing from last round as well as a first date, which brings her up to 12 first dates (still a long way to go, but she's a vampire so...) Tamara worked, but got a bad chance card that cost her a couple of logic points, so now she has a long way to go for the next promo. She also got in a little "quality time" with Christian Cox, getting her closer to reaching her LTW. I realized I had neglected to celebrate Joy's birthday last round, so I grew her up first thing in the morning to keep aging on track. She's now a teen with a LTW for Intelligence. Teddy will soon head off for college, which will free up a little space in this chaotic household.
At the commune (see PV 1/28/21), Lynn Broke had bought a dog from Myra Dreamer, so I let her stay. Later on, Sam Thomas adopted a wolf, Baby, into the household as well. I think I'm going to limit them to just the two pets, however, because I don't want to cut into the sim limit for the household. Having a couple of pets on the lot will hopefully help Sam and Brittany Upsnott to complete their LTWs. Though a number of sims and pets were greeted and interacted with, no one made any new bfs or romantic conquests.
Life continues to be relatively uneventful for the Wongs (see PV 1/29/21). Lisa had the day off and invited some friends over. She also adopted a kitten. One of the dogs grew up. Shawn went to work and came home to sleep for a while before dark. Lisa wanted to become a werewolf and, since her friend Rhonda is a werewolf, I had Shawn influence her to fight with Lisa because I thought that was a thing. But apparently, it's not. Lisa did not become a werewolf and now she hates Rhonda. Oh well.
Meadow Todd (see PV 1/29/21) still did not get the logic point she needs, but she'll keep trying. River also did not find a job in Criminal, so he remains in Athletic. Stone didn't have any luck finding cute girls either, so the whole family pretty much struck out this round.
Sasha Dreamer (see PV 1/29/21) passed away at age 80. She lived a full life and died perma-plat. Quentin had the day off and spent it skilling for his next promotion. Donna and Orlando decided to get married and try for another baby.
Happy Simming!
Saturday, May 10, 2025
Pleasantview 5/10/25
The Lotharios (see PV 1/26/21) had an uneventful round. I thought there might be some excitement when Randy greeted Eric Landgraab, who Heath is having an affair with, but despite him hanging around most of the day/night, nothing went down. I also thought Heath might die, since he kept getting out of his coffin, no matter how many times I sent him back to it. Eventually, I got tired of his stubbornness, and left him to his own devices at 2:30 p.m. He went outside to look through the telescope, jumped rope, had a couple drinks at the outside bar - his needs tanked, but he didn't die. Once the sun had set, he replenished his needs and was perfectly fine. I swear, anytime I have a vamp I really like, if they so much as crack that coffin open before dark, they die instantly. But Heath, who I'm honestly so tired of and never wanted to live forever, can spend hours outside in direct sunlight without so much as a sunburn. 😒
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 5/9/25
Noelle Dennis and Wyatt Picaso (see PV 1/26/21) threw a birthday party for Lincoln who became a toddler this round. He's a very interesting looking child, with blonde hair, pointy ears, and angled eyebrows. I'm looking forward to seeing how his genetics manifest in the next generation.
Bethany Alpha (see PV 1/26/21) passed away at the age of 66. Her life began as part of a legacy, and it was a long, sometimes rocky, road she travelled, but in the end, she died platinum. She leaves behind her long-time partner Drake Dreamer and three children (plus three sort-of stepchildren that she helped raise). She will be missed. In other news, Rhonda got a promotion at work and began skilling for the next one.
Happy Simming!
Thursday, May 8, 2025
Pleasantview 5/8/25
Toby Bruenig (see PV 1/24/21) did not get promoted. He crashed for a while after returning home, had a few friends over to watch a movie, and worked on his masters. He went back to work at 3 a.m., only to get a chance card a couple hours later which led to him being fired. Once again, Toby is unemployed.
Lisa Ramirez (see PV 1/25/21) decided that, in light of her daughter's pregnancy, she should quit her job at the bookstore in order to help out at the furniture store. They worked together on Saturday, making a substantial profit, then returned home to rest up before dealing with the dogs and their constant messes.
Brad Dreamer (see PV 1/25/21) got a promotion, worked on skills, and spent some time with friends. He must miss Marvin's kids, however, because he decided to have one of his own, and spawned a plant baby, Cody. (This will make his mother Myra happy as well, as I think she has a new LTW for 6 grandchildren.) He'll be taking a vacation day to spend with his new little one and work on skills needed for his next (and I think final?) promotion.
Happy Simming!
Wednesday, May 7, 2025
Pleasantview 5/7/25
Paige and Lee Bruty (see PV 1/24/21) welcomed a new toddler to their family, a boy named Amin. For now, he's sharing the nursery with Bryn. Paige got a promotion at work, then came home to work on skills for the next one. Lee had the day off, which he spent teaching toddler skills to the little ones. The teens threw a party with all their friends, but it got broken up by the cops. Shay decided that he'd really like to attend private school, and with his grades, it was doable, so he left for Briarwood at the end of the round. Luckily, there was one spot left in Boys' Dorm B.
Marvin and Vyn Gieke (see PV 1/25/21) spent a lot of money furnishing the new house and getting a cat for the girls. Consequently, their finances are pretty tight at the moment. The stress of moving, money worries, and the impending birth of another baby has taken a toll on their relationship. If they don't turn things around soon, it might be the end of their marriage.
Happy Simming!
Tuesday, May 6, 2025
Pleasantview 5/6/25
Zoe Picaso (see PV 1/22/21) got a promotion at work, worked on some skills, had some friends over, and took care of the dogs. She's nearing elderhood and seems content with the life she's made for herself.
Myra Dreamer (see PV 1/22/21) finally, at long last, achieved her LTW to raise 20 puppies/kittens. This is, in fact, the very first time I've ever completed this LTW. In other news, Ethan, Taylor, and Caryl all earned promotions at work, Ethan finished teaching the pets their skills, and Taylor began working on his GED.
Russ Bear (see PV 1/23/21) took the night off from stargazing to throw a party. It was a very relaxed affair, but everyone had a good time.
Both Eugene and Agnes (see PV 1/23/21) got promoted at work; Agnes is nearing the top of Adventure. They also decided the time had come to tie the knot, which won't really change much in their day-to-day lives. Myrtle added another notch to her bedpost without Olive being any the wiser. One of the dogs reached the top of their career, getting Oliver to the halfway point on his LTW. Phyllis was rejected for a date. Edgar grew into a child, and I got a bedroom set up for him, only for Olive to decide Edgar should go to boarding school. Since the family has plenty of money, they shipped him off right away. (I guess the thought of having to care for his son through child- and teenhood was just too much for him lol.) Next round Audrey will become a child (and possibly be sent away too I suppose).
Happy Simming!
Monday, May 5, 2025
Pleasantview 5/5/25
Sharlene Graham (see PV 1/18/21) taught Randall to walk. Claire worked and then threw a party, which turned out to be dull. The new baby is due next round, but it doesn't look like Joe will have much time with his new son/daughter, as I believe next round will be his last.
Friday, May 2, 2025
Pleasantview 5/2/25
I got through the Bruty family (see PV 1/17/21) today. Gladys and Dale both had the day off. Kirby spent most of the day playing poker with whoever was around. Dale had a date with Jan Tellerman (his LTW is for 50 dream dates), but it was only okay, despite them having 3-bolt chemistry. Kirby and Gladys decided they wanted to adopt another child, but didn't have enough money to qualify until nearly the end of the round, so the new member of the family probably won't arrive until the day after next.
Tina and Erik Swain (see PV 1/18/21) had another uneventful round, just skilling, chilling, and waiting for the baby to be born.
Amar Kim (see PV 1/18/21) gave birth this round, and the baby was subsequently delivered to the orphanage as planned. Melanie got a promotion and adopted an elderly dog into their pet family (they also have 2 cats).
Happy Simming!
Thursday, May 1, 2025
Pleasantview 5/1/25
Justin Kim and company (see PV 1/16/21) had a good day all around. Justin ran his business, Alon ran the toy store (it's now rank 1) and checked in on the pet store. He and Charlene also decided to get married, so that was a nice surprise. Brittany took another vacation day and Charlene worked. Marcel wanted to get a job (which he did) and go to private school, so he moved to Briarwood Prep at the end of the round. Next time Brittany's daughter Jeannette will grow into a teen.
I started playing the Brutys, but the game crashed when taking them to a community lot, so I'll have to start over with them tomorrow. I will try to do the same things as much as possible.
Until tomorrow, Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 4/30/25
Nathan Dreamer (see PV 1/15/21) died at the age of 83. He lived a long life that was filled with ups and downs but ultimately ended in platinum. Nathan was the only son of Dirk and Lilith Dreamer. He had a younger sister named Summer. He met the love of his life, Christine Tellerman, as a teen. Christine was the daughter of Komei Tellerman and Jodie (Larson) Tellerman. They got married soon after reaching adulthood. Not long after their marriage, Nathan's mother Lilith died, leaving his father and sister on their own in the family home. Nathan didn't have much time to grieve, however, as he and Christine welcomed three sets of twins in a row: Alexis and Braedon, Calvin and Delia, and Erin and Faith. In addition, Nathan was working his way up the Adventure career track. After the youngest twins were born, Nathan and Christine's marriage hit a rough patch, and they ended up divorcing, which was a devastating blow for Nathan. He moved back to the family home, joining his father Dirk, his sister Summer (who had been married and divorced by that time), and his sister's two children, Lisa and Eric. This was a very difficult time in Nathan's life. He focused on work mostly, achieving success and reaching the top of the Adventure career before switching to Intelligence (which he eventually topped as well). Tragedy struck when the ghost of the family dog (Buffy) began viciously attacking members of the family, killing first Summer, then Dirk. Nathan was nearly killed himself several times. He survived though, luckily, and was able to reunite with his beloved Christine, moving back home with his family. (His sister's kids went to live with their father Stephen Landgraab.) Life took a turn for the better after that. He spent many happy years with Christine, watching their children grow and have children of their own. They did suffer one more devastating loss, however, when their daughter Faith died in college. Christine died not long after, and Nathan found himself on his own again for the first time in ages. His daughter Alexis had taken over the household by that point, as well as her mother's salon, so there wasn't much for Nathan to do other than spend time with the grandchildren. That's when Zena Goss came into his life. She was young and vibrant, and Nathan was instantly smitten. His kids weren't too happy about the relationship, as Zena was younger than all of them, but Nathan married her anyway. They had a baby girl together, Nevada. It was a short-lived relationship, however, and Nathan ended up back home with Alexis, her boyfriend (now husband) Alvin, and his two grandchildren. He continued to maintain a close bond with Nevada and he and Zena stayed on good terms as well. Just recently, he began dating Marylena GilsCarbo, but time was running out for Nathan, so it didn't get very far. Nathan was one of my favorite sims of all time. Descended from two of the most iconic families in Pleasantview, he leaves behind six children (he had seven in total) and seven grandchildren. He will be missed.
The Bruty family was relaxing, as usual. Thomas, Noel, and Ivy all worked. Noel and Ivy both got promoted; Thomas is still short quite a few friends. Camille grew into an adult and decided to work on getting her GED so she can pursue a job in Gaming. Eve wanted some pets, so they adopted a puppy and a kitten. She'll become a teen next round.

Pleasantview 4/29/25
The Landgraab family (see PV 1/13/21) had a slightly less chaotic round this time. Tess got a promotion at work (at long last!!!) and then invited all the older kids over to hand out college money. Stephen finished a novel. Shane got arrested but, luckily, his public defender was able to get the charges dropped. He spent some time with friends and did some stargazing. Wes decided he'd like to join his older siblings at boarding school and headed off to Briarwood at the end of the round, where he got assigned to Ray's dorm unit. The younger twins really wanted another kitten, as they lost one of their elder cats recently and will likely lose another in the near future, so Piper joined the family.
Cara Broke (see PV 1/14/21) had the day off again, which she spent doing nothing...again. She's been thinking about getting engaged to her boyfriend Ben Tellerman, but I guess she's still having some doubts about the relationship because she's just not ready to move in together yet. Aiden also opted not to move in with Lucy (Hanby), though in his case it's more of a "been there, done that" situation, so understandable. Aiden also had an outing with Count Nery Zhang, who spent most of the time they were hanging out fighting with (and getting his butt kicked by) Xavier Goth. Apparently, he likes that sort of thing though because the outing was "fun". To each his own lol.
Lucy Hanby (see PV 1/14/21) finally wore Aiden down and convinced him they should give their relationship another try (despite the fact that she's also involved with someone else) before it's too late. (Since he has some stuff I want him to bring with him, I waited until the end of the round to go back to his house, move him out, and drop him in. He'll be played her next round.) Apart from that, the only event of significance was her elder cat Tiger died, and she adopted a puppy, Tucker.
Lila Ottomas (see PV 1/14/21) wanted to move her boyfriend Toby Grundstrom in, but I nixed the idea because Toby only has a couple days left to live, he has a teenaged son who would have to move with him and he's working on the 20 puppies/kittens LTW, which he's close to finishing (I don't think he's going to make it, but I have to let him try, right?) I think Lila was annoyed because she kept getting out of her coffin and nearly killed herself a couple times. Gavin took care of his plants and the pets, invited his son over for a bit, had an outing with a friend, where he met a townie woman who he hit it off with, and early the next morning he ran the nursery, where his apples and lemons finally grew in. Not too shabby for Gavin.
Armando Ottomas (see PV 1/15/21) behaved like a good vampire this round and stayed in his coffin all day until work. He still didn't get promoted though. Nadine had the day off. They managed to get together college fund money for all the kids, but they still can't swing private boarding school for either Anton or Joanne. At least the cat got a promotion, and Anton got a teen job also, so maybe they'll be able to get ahead next time.

Pleasantview 4/28/25
Finishing up Briarwood, Girls' Dorm B (see PV 1/11/21) is home to five students: Madison Kim, Katrina Swain, Violet Grundstrom, and new students Caryl Bruty and Elise Shahan. No one graduated this round, but all the teens worked. Caryl and Elise both scored promotions. Everyone had a difficult time keeping up with their homework/skilling due to sickness, but they managed to scrape by.
Shifting over to base Pleasantview, we'll visit the prison (see PV 1/12/21) where there are still two inmates: Mason Tellerman and Rosemary Bruty. Mason served his 8th day and Rosemary her 5th. Since they are each serving 18-day sentences, they'll be up for parole once they've served 12 days, so they both have a while to go yet.
Heather Broke (see PV 1/13/21) nearly got all the skills needed for another promotion - she'll keep working next round. Hobart wrote a restaurant guide and Charlotte continued working on her master's degree, though she still didn't find a job in Medicine. The family threw a huge party for Warner's teen birthday, and he grew up with the LTW for Culinary. In the wee hours of the morning, Charlotte gave birth to a baby girl, Adele. The family's elder cat died, and they adopted another kitten (Jasper) to keep Kingston company. Next round Evan will become an elder......And that's what happened the first time I played this household. Unfortunately, the game crashed upon saving and all that was lost. The second time I played Heather got fired from her job, Warner's LTW was for Education, and Hobart and Charlotte had a boy, Harmon. That time also crashed, resulting in a third play. This time Heather kept her job, but they still had a boy, who I again named Harmon, and Warner rolled Golden Anniversary. Everything else remained the same - Hobart wrote a guide, Charlotte worked on her degree, but didn't find Medicine, and the cat died and was replaced with Jasper. I threw a smaller party this time and Hobart and Charlotte did not have time for a date, but those were fairly insignificant changes. I had to save every few hours to get through the round, but finally it's done. 😒

Pleasantview 4/15/25 Round 5
David Ottomas (see PV 1/4/21) was on his own this semester and pretty happy about it. He spent time with friends, did a little skilling, and went to class enough to hold onto his 2.9 GPA. He will finish his senior year and graduate next round.
Over at Urele-Oresha-Cham there are still two students: Ross Grundstrom and Jordan Hanby. Ross had a small get together with family and friends, but mostly focused on skilling for class. It didn't help him too much though, because he finished the term with a C+. He will finish his senior year next round. Jordan was sick and miserable the entire semester. He invited some family members over, but he didn't have any fun. He barely managed to get himself to class every day. And yet, he finished the term with the same C+ as Ross. Go figure. He's heading into his final semester as a junior.

Humble Beginnings 4/14/25
At the University, Zane Gordon finished his thesis, earned the skills needed to qualify for a job in Education, and switched from Athletic to Education. Since his wife Meadow gave birth to their daughter while in prison, Zane was given custody of little Skye. She grew into a toddler and then a child by the end of spring. Since Zane wasn't able to save much money, he and Skye will be moving back home with his parents. Austin Franklin also joined Zane at University. He had nearly finished his studies already, so just had to take one final class and do his thesis. After he finished, he also took a job in Education and spent the rest of the week working and saving money. He also met townie Lilly Do, who he has two bolts for. They haven't started dating yet, so we'll see where that goes when he gets played. He'll be moving to his own Working Class apartment, as his total savings (between what he earned and what his mother gave him when he left for Uni) is $11,323.
And that concludes Humble Beginnings for the time being. I thought I'd be finished much sooner, but some stuff came up and I didn't have as much time to play as I expected. In any event, I've been thinking of returning to Pleasantview next, but there are some other 'hoods I haven't played in a while as well, so I might change my mind. Until next time, Happy Simming!

Humble Beginnings 4/13/25
The Lewis family is comprised of elder Martin Lewis, his son Aaron, Aaron's husband Jay, Martin's deceased daughter's teen twins Cameron and Chloe, and Aaron and Jay's toddler son Nathan. They began as Lower Middle Class, which seems like a lucky break for them, but coming in with no skills and LTWs that require degrees is no picnic. Martin and the teens immediately got jobs, as they had no skill requirements to do so. They all started off in Slacker; Chloe reached the top by the end of the week and Cam got fired but took a job in Culinary instead. Aaron and Jay worked on skills initially, scoring jobs in Law Enforcement mid-week. Martin met a few women he liked, but no real chemistry until he met elder townie Jacqueline Olshfski (2 bolts) and immediately rolled the want to fall in love. They haven't had a date yet, but it looks promising for next round. Chloe had a couple dates with Jesse Franklin, but it remains to be seen if they'll end up together, as Jesse has interest in another girl as well. The twins reached adulthood at the end of spring, earning some decent scholarship money, and preparing to move out together and become Working Class, as the family could only afford to give them $5000. After expenses and necessary purchases for the home, the Lewis family has $430 and will remain Lower Middle Class.
