Pleasantview 10/16/25

Pinenut Plaza (see PV 6/28/25) had two students this round: Garrett GilsCarbo and Joe Grundstrom (a former vacation townie, who was dating a playable sim, and therefore was grown up with her and sent to Uni).
Garrett continued to rack up admirers.  It seems as though he had three bolts for every woman he's ever met (except his mother, of course, lol).  Several more dormies began following him around and he met some more ladies on community lots as well.  However, during his date with Trinity Wong (in which they rekindled their teen romance), both he and Trinity rolled wants to get engaged.  Now, I have a system for deciding these things, but recently I made an exception for when both sims have the same want to get married or have a baby.  It stands to reason that engagement would be included there as well, but normally I do engagements as just part of the marriage process, once sims have moved in together, rather than as a formal step in the relationship.  In this case, with both of these sims being at Uni (and in different colleges), they are not able to move in together, so I decided to let them get engaged, since they both want it and, if they're still together by the time they graduate (they're both Romance so...), I will move them in together and get them married automatically.  I think that will still work with the way I play, so I'm happy with it.  In other news, Garrett joined Urele-Oresha-Cham and moved there at the end of the term.  He earned a B+ and a 3.2 GPA and will begin his sophomore year next round.
Joe doesn't know very many sims yet, but he's been dating Eliza Ottomas for a while.  They had a date this round which went very well.  Hopefully they'll stay together until he finishes college, as Eliza opted not to go to college and is currently sharing an apartment with her twin brother.  Joe is majoring in biology, with the intent to pursue Medicine.  He finished the term with a perfect 4.0 and will complete freshman year next round.

Happy Simming!
