Pleasantview 12/15/25

Alexis and Alvin Broke (see PV 7/11/25) must have been feeling old because they decided to try for another baby in the eleventh hour of their lives.  They were successful, so we'll be adding another member to the family in a few days, just in time for Alvin to become an elder (Alexis will follow a couple days later).  In addition to that, Andrew has moved back home and married his girlfriend (one of them anyway lol), Dawn Grundstrom.  Neither was able to find a job in their field just yet (there's no rush because the family has plenty of money), nor have they decided to get pregnant right away (though that would have been kind of interesting to have Andrew's sibling and child be the same age).  Andrew also rolled a want to buy a community lot, which could be something I let him do.  His LTW is for Culinary, so it would make sense for him to own a restaurant maybe?  He grew up watching his mother (and grandmother) run the salon, so I can see him wanting to be his own boss as well.  Plus, they can afford it.  I'll still have him go into Culinary, but no reason he couldn't run a restaurant as well, right?  Something to consider.

The Bruty household (see PV 7/11/25) grew by leaps and bounds this round.  First, Thomas decided to spawn another plant baby (Alice) and then Noel and Ivy chose to follow their dad's lead and spawn babies of their own (Liam and Oscar, respectively).  I neglected to remember that I already have a Liam Bruty, who is somehow related, so that'll be fun lol.  Camille pursued her LTW of Woohooing 20 Sims by woohooing Ashley Pitts.  Unfortunately, this caused some drama in the household, as Ivy had a crush on Ashley (which I also neglected to remember lol - really stellar simming today guys), so now everyone's mad at Camille.  At least she scored a promotion at work.  In any event, it's not causing an issue at the moment, but if Camille and Ivy start fighting too much, I'll move one of them out.  Someone will likely need to move out in the near future anyway, because the house is bursting at the seams with 8 sims and 2 pets now.

Happy Simming!
