Dagmar Grundstrom settled into her new home Downtown. She invited her son Roger over for a visit and he ended up staying all night just hanging out and watching sports with her. I spent a lot of time thinking on what her source of income should be. Since her LTW is to have a Golden Anniversary, which she can never achieve due to being a vampire who will never become an elder (actually I may let her change her aspiration to reroll the LTW), her only career guidance is her hobby/interests. Her hobby is sports, which connects to Athletic or Journalism, and her interests line her up with Law, but I really don't feel any of those for her. I think what I might do for now (though it may change if I change her LTW) is just have her take whatever job she's qualified for that has nighttime hours and then switch jobs anytime she gets put on a day shift. Might be fun for a while. In between jobs she has a telescope and an easel that she can earn a little cash with as well. I think she can get by for now.
Delilah O'Feefe (see PV 12/18/20) finally made the decision to marry Edwin. However, she decided to sow some wild oats with Mitch first and one of those "oats" took root. That's right, Delilah is now pregnant with Mitch's baby and newly married to Edwin. It makes for interesting storytelling, does it not? Did Delilah find out she was pregnant and then decide to marry Edwin and pass the baby off as his? Or did she get married and then find herself expecting without knowing who the father is? I love the drama. I'm going to keep Mitch living here for now, since everyone is technically still getting along (Mitch was asleep when Delilah and Edwin got married and celebrated their wedding night, so he hasn't experienced any jealousy), but it remains to be seen how all this plays out. In other news, they all worked and all got promoted, but Delilah still did not find the job she wants.
DJ Verse (see PV 12/18/20) got a promotion at work, but unfortunately, Calista did not so they're still working opposite shifts. They were, however, able to make a sizable payment on DJ's student loan. They might even be able to pay it off next time it comes due. If they ever decide to expand their family, they'll need a bigger place, but for now their tiny one bedroom will do just fine.
Max Flexor moved into his new home this round. I'm sure he was glad to get out of the homeless shelter and into a place of his own. He went out with a couple friends in the morning and then worked in the evening, earning a promotion. He'll need to save up for a masters degree because he wants to work in Politics, though he is allowed to go ahead and start working in that career if it comes up. For now he's doing well in Law Enforcement though.
Happy Simming!
