Today we'll visit Cynthia Picaso, plant daughter of Jessica Picaso (one of the original plant sims from the plant sim lot); she has two siblings (one of them is Polly Picaso from the commune) and one plant son Stuart, who also lives here with his wife Diane (daughter of Amelia and Justin Pearson) and son Oliver. This round started off normal with the only event of note being that Oliver would grow into a child. The day started with Cynthia going off to work at her Military job, while Stuart studied mechanical (his LTW is to Max Skills), and Diane worked at her robot bench. After putting Oliver down for a nap, Stuart had an outing with his friend Evan Broke and came home just in time for Diane to head off to bed for a quick nap before Oliver's birthday. At 5 pm, Diane awoke and immediately collapsed to the floor. I had been informed that she was sick with a "mysterious disease" at the beginning of the day, but didn't think too much of it, as the "mysterious disease" has been going around Pleasantview for (real life) years and only a handful of sims have ever died from it. Well, Diane has been added to that list now. RIP Diane. Stuart is devastated and poor little Oliver grew up immediately following his mother's death. I know that Diane's mother will also be very sad, especially since Diane is the third of Amelia's six children to predecease her.
Up next we have Jace Lothario and Charles Bertino. Jace is one of the townie kids of Jon Smith Tricou. Most of his siblings have been moved in by now and some are still living. Jace used to be married to Heath Lothario and they have an adult daughter together, as well as four grandchildren. Jace is currently living with his vampire (Jace has a type lol) boyfriend Charles, a former townie who works in the Slacker career. Jace retired a while ago, but now runs an art gallery in Bluewater Village. Though I was sad to see Jace and Heath break up, I really do like this couple. They couldn't be more different, but somehow they make it work.
Andrea (Hogan) Larson is a former townie who was once briefly married to Matthew Larson. She's never been married since, though she has an adopted daughter, Rebecca, who lives with her. She's now a retired Dancer and, oh yeah, a vampire. Grrr. As I've mentioned elder vampires annoy me, and what's more Andrea became a vampire literally the day before she would've undoubtedly died. Anyway, Rebecca is a little more fun to play. She has a LTW of 50 Dream Dates, of which she's completed 15 I think. She's carrying on several romances at once, but I don't think she considers any of them to be serious. She's at the top of the Slacker career, so she doesn't need to work all that much, leaving her plenty of time for socializing, which is just the way she likes it.
Florence Delarosa is an elder who lives alone with her two cats. She has a son from her marriage, Julian, who is a teen and attends boarding school. Her former husband, Renaud, has moved on, but Florence remains alone, either by choice or lack of opportunity, I'm no sure which. She's certainly not a wealthy woman, but she manages to get by with what she earns selling produce from her garden. At this point, I'm just hoping she lives long enough for her son to finish school and return home to take over the household.
Christian and Chloe Cox are newly married and expecting their first child. They live in that house in Pleasantview that looks like a castle. I converted it to apartments a while back. Christian is the son of Marion and Kennedy Cox (both deceased); he has a sister Hailey (plus two more biological siblings Rhonda and Nadine). Chloe is the daughter of Landon Ottomas and Tanya Grundstrom, who we met yesterday, I think. She has two brothers and a twin sister, though she technically doesn't know about the younger brother. Christian works in Medicine and Chloe in Music. They also have a townie roommate, Kaylynn Spitzig, who stayed on even after Chloe married Christian, because at the moment there's still plenty of room and she helps out with the rent. This round they adopted a cat and next round we'll look forward to the arrival of their baby.
Happy Simming!
