Mia Landry is the daughter of Gabe Landry and Kendal Greaves; she has five siblings and no children. Mia is nearly an elder and has been bouncing from relationship to relationship her entire adult life. Currently she's living with Liam Bruty and his daughter Caryl. Liam is the plant son of Kirby Bruty (grandson of Charles, great-grandson of Sandy); he has four siblings. The family lives in a small house downtown, along with two dogs and a cat. The could afford a better place since they're both doing exceptionally well in their careers (Mia in Gaming, Liam in Culinary), but I think they want to save a little more to buy a house (and maybe to see if things work out between them?)
The alien lot is the only creature lot that still functions more or less as it was intended. I started with two former townies, Jay Goss and Ricky Leong. Their mission was to have alien babies. Since there was no "summon aliens" back then, that meant a LOT of stargazing for those two. They both ended up getting abducted on the same night and giving birth to a set of twins each on the same day. I call these four (Quinn, Mira, Xander, and Zena) "the quads" due to the nature of aliens in which they all have the same poli tech parent. Much later Jay did have another alien son, Darius. Once the boys got too old to have any more babies, I had them move in a couple more guys to carry on. They chose former maid Remington Harris and former townie (one of Jon Smith Tricou's kids) Robi Jeffress. Since I don't really need more aliens (I just really like them) I've relaxed the rules on these two a bit, allowing them to try for abduction only if they roll a related want, like "have a baby", "stargaze", or "meet aliens". In this fashion, Remington has fathered one daughter, Lysandra, and Robi has two children, Zaira and Quade. The girls are teens and Quade is a child. Robi did try for an abduction this round, but it didn't happen. In less than a week these two will be too old to have alien children, so it'll be time to decide whether I want to carry on with new guys or discontinue the alien lot as it is.
Former townie Elise Seifert and her new husband, former hobby lot director Cooper, live in one half of a duplex downtown, along with Elise's toddler daughter from a previous relationship with Dylan Broke and their infant son, who was just born this round. Elise works in Law Enforcement and Cooper is working on getting his online degree so he can start a job in Architecture. With only one income and money going out to pay for Cooper's school, money is tight right now. In fact, they've gotten a little behind on the rent. Hopefully Elise will earn a promotion when she heads back to work and they can get caught up.
Happy Simming!
