Jared Starchild is a premade Uni student who now lives in the Hyde Park trailer park (actually Main St. Mobile because reasons). His trailer is tiny, but cheap, so he can save most of his money. He has a good job in Natural Science, so I dare say he'll be moving on to bigger and better things in time. Unfortunately, his only love interest was Sam Thomas, who we learned was preparing to join the commune, so he'll likely need to look elsewhere for companionship.
Allegra and Jimmy Phoenix are premade Uni students who got married and moved to Hyde Park after graduation. Jimmy works in Athletic and Allegra is temporarily working in Adventure, but really wants to be a Criminal. They live in a small one bedroom trailer. I was worried I wouldn't be able to fit a crib in when their first child was born this round, but of course that wasn't the problem, because as usually happens in my game when sims are broke/live in small spaces, they had TWO new babies. I did manage to get the cribs in just barely, but they'll need a bigger place very soon. There is a two bedroom trailer available, so maybe they can move there.
Bryce Futa is the final Hyde Park resident. His parents are Alvin and Tosha Futa; he has one brother. Bryce was not a good student in high school and therefore did not earn a high school diploma. That really sucks for him, considering his LTW job of Journalism requires not only that, but also a college degree. Bryce will need to earn an online GED and a degree before taking a job in Journalism. He unfortunately does not have the money to pay for online classes just yet, so he has taken a job in Athletics. He'll save up and eventually work his way through his online courses.
Next up we have the homeless shelter, which is a place I built to help struggling sims get back on their feet. It's technically an apartment lot, but I consider all the sims to be living in the same household (much like the orphanage). I have Servo placeholders living in each unit, leaving space for seven other sims in each unit (times four that's 28 sims altogether). Each unit is a single room that contains little more than beds/cribs, a bookcase, and a phone. There's a cafeteria and communal bathrooms for everyone to share. While a sim is living in the homeless shelter they do not need to pay for rent, bills, or food. Anything beyond basic necessities is their own responsibility. The sims currently living here are as follows:
Melissa Fancey is a former townie, who has five children altogether, but only two live here with her. Her three oldest children (Jason and twins Clarissa and Cybil) remained with their father (Luc Young) when they broke up. (Jason is still living with his dad, while the twins are away at boarding school.) Melissa had her own apartment for a time, but a one night stand with Goopy GilsCarbo made her the mother of another set of twins: Cheyenne and Dalton. She was unable to keep up with the rent and bills, while also raising two kids on her own, and so ended up here. She was actually doing quite well for a while (she'd nearly saved enough money to move her family to a small apartment), however being turned into a vampire put a crimp in her plans. She had to spend a large amount of her savings on a coffin and now must begin the arduous process of saving up again. Luckily this round the twins aged up to teen and can therefore get jobs to help out.
Ricky Cormier is a former townie who was involved in a long term relationship with Sasha Dreamer. When they broke up, he fell on hard times (he was in and out of prison a few times) and ultimately wound up here. He'd like to work in Culinary, but since that hasn't come up, he's working Adventure. He doesn't have nearly enough cash to leave yet, but he's trying to make the best of things.
Monica Bratford is a premade Uni student, who found herself without a place to live after graduation. She had few friends at Uni and when they all paired up and moved on, Monica was left behind. She also has a student loan to pay, so the shelter is where she needs to be right now. Unfortunately for Monica, two very bad things have happened to her. First she was turned into a vampire, meaning she had to buy a coffin and struggle to stay alive while working a day job. Second, she found her LTW career of Criminal in the paper this round, which means she will likely spend time in jail at some point, which if you'll recall turned out to be a death sentence for fellow vampire Alon Broke. She has a few days before anything will happen, but with her student loan sucking up all her money, it's unlikely she'll have the money for a good lawyer when the time comes.
Once upon a time Andrzej Greaves was a successful Scientist, married to a lovely woman, and living in a nice house. Times have changed. After his marriage broke up, Andrzej turned to a life of crime and spent some time in prison. When he finally got out, he had no job, no family, and nowhere to go but here. As an elder he's working a part-time job in Architecture and very slowly trying to save up enough money to get out of his current situation, but there's a good chance he'll die here.
Jessie Pilferson (a premade Uni student) came here right after graduation. I'm not sure why, given she has three boyfriends she could have moved in with. I guess she'd rather be homeless than actually commit to one of them? I honestly don't recall. In any event, she's working in Show Biz while waiting for a job in Music. She also has chemistry with basically every guy who lives here, so she might pick up another boyfriend or two before she leaves.
Max Flexor (another Uni sim) also came here straight from college. The love of his life (probably not because sims are fickle) Roxie Sharpe had moved in with Jonah Powers and Max was devastated by it. (Now that Jonah and Roxie broke up maybe there's hope?) He works in Law Enforcement, though he wants to be a Politician. He can't get into Politics until he at least starts working on his masters, but there are no computers on the lot, even if he could afford it. I'm not sure why he didn't complete his masters while he was at Uni (most sims do), maybe he tried but didn't finish? Anyway, he got a promotion this round, which will really help him get going out of here.
Moon Broke is the daughter of Lynn Broke and Armando Ottomas. She was born on the commune and has never met her father or her three siblings. She's very close to her cousin Blaze, but since he managed to earn enough scholarship money to get him into Uni, he wasn't an option as a living situation when Moon left the commune. So here she is at the shelter, trying to earn some money in the Gaming career, and learning about life in the real world.
And that's it for the shelter residents. Up next, Parkview Condos.
Sage Dreamer is the alien daughter of Drake Dreamer. She has five known siblings and lives in a very nice apartment at Parkview Condos. She's working in her LTW job of Military and doing very well. She can't seem to find a love interest, though she does have two bolts with Martin Dreamer (technically no relation since he's a plant sim and therefore only the child of Myra and not the child of Sage's brother Evan), so that might turn into something. This is one of the reasons I'm making changes to relationship and family structure rules, to prevent these semi-incestuous relationships from happening. Although with plant sims it's bound to happen eventually anyway.
Also living at Parkview are Charles Grundstrom and Chloe Despret. Charles is the son of Stephen Landgraab and Tess Grundstrom; he has ten siblings, mostly younger. Chloe is a former dormie. Charles is an Athlete and Chloe a Dancer. This round they welcomed their first child, Robert. Charles' dad Stephen happened to be visiting at the time and therefore got to witness the birth of his first grandchild.
Alan Korman is a recently divorced vampire with three kids. His ex-wife retained custody and he moved to Parkview Condos, where he works in the Journalism career and paints in his spare time. He's nowhere near wealthy, but he gets by. No sign of a new lady love though. Time will tell.
And that wraps up Downtown! Next up will be Bluewater Village which is reserved for my legacy families, of which there are currently only two, so it should go quickly. After that, the round is over and we return to the beginning and Uni.
Until next time, Happy Simming!

Morgan Alpha is the daughter of Drake Dreamer and Bethany Alpha; she has five siblings, including a twin Melanie. Morgan hasn't been out of Uni that long and is currently living at City Center Lofts and working in the Politics career, though she'll be looking to switch to Natural Science as soon as it comes up. This round she had an outing with two of her good friends and her ex-boyfriend Shawn Wong. Her friends didn't show up and things turned romantic between her and Shawn, leaving Morgan pregnant. Since Shawn is married and quite unwilling to leave his wife, Morgan has decided that she will give the baby up once it's born.
Greg and Martin Dreamer are plant sons of Myra Dreamer. They have two other plant brothers and two non-plant sisters. They live at City Center Lofts because it's cheap and plant sims don't need much anyway. Greg is looking to get into Entertainment, but is working in Culinary for the time being. Martin owns a gym in Bluewater Village. They're doing okay financially, though Martin does have a substantial business loan to pay back. They date occasionally, but neither has found anyone special yet.
Ashley Pitts is a premade Uni student who now lives at City Center Lofts and works as an Athlete. He got a promotion this round, which really helped his finances. Romantically, he's juggling a few women and being a player. He has the LTW to Woohoo 20 Sims so he's just trying to hook up with every woman he sees. Maybe he'll settle down someday. Who knows?
Sam Thomas is another premade Uni student, who lives at City Center Lofts because it's all she can afford. She's been trying to find an Art job, but took a job in Culinary only to be fired immediately. This round she took a job in Law Enforcement, however since her LTW is to have 20 Pet BFs, she will be moving to the commune next round in accordance with some new rules I'm putting into place. It makes sense for her anyway, given how broke she is, the huge student loan she has, and the fact that she doesn't seem to be able to hold down a job.
Happy Simming!

Calvin Latte is a second generation spare of the Latte Legacy. His older sister is the heir and his younger brother is still a teen. Calvin lives in the Village Condos, which is an original build featuring single story, two bedroom homes/duplexes that are perfect for singles, roomies, or small families. Calvin lives in one side of a duplex. This round he found a job in Entertainment, so he's all set for that. He's had a little more trouble making friends, as he tends to spend most of his time studying or watching tv. Maybe he'll bring someone home from work?
Kevin Beare is a Uni premade who now lives in Las Casas Baratas, which is another original build. Las Casas is a very rundown building with tiny studio apartments; it's only amenities are some snack machines in the common area, a beat up chess board, and some rusty playground equipment. But the price is definitely right for sims who are strapped for cash. Kevin is working as an Artist and got a promotion this round, so he should have no trouble keeping up financially. Romantically, he has a huge crush on Heather Huffington, but she's living with someone already. Maybe he'll hit it off with someone in his building.
Caryl Grundstrom (who also lives in Las Casas) is the daughter of Renee and Toby Grundstrom; she has three siblings. She's hoping to only be here temporarily. She's looking for a Business job, but had to take Journalism instead. At least she's got one of the downstairs units, which are slightly larger than the upstairs ones, though still a studio. This round was her first day moving in, so she spent most of her time exploring and meeting people.
That's it for today. Up next, City Center Lofts. Happy Simming!

Today we'll visit Melrose Place. This is an apartment building I built to look as much like the building in the tv show as I can recollect. I'm pretty proud of it actually, it's one of my favorite builds. Apart from a few adjustments for Sims 2 building limitations and some creative license, I think it's fairly close. Anyway, on with the updates.
Guy Wrightley is a premade Uni student who graduated recently and moved into Melrose Place. If you're familiar with the show, he lives in what was Jake's apartment. He doesn't have much money and the place is pretty sparsely furnished at the moment. Guy has been running Doc Alan's Hangout since college and, though he does good business there, it's not nearly enough to cover both his student loan and his business loan, not to mention rent, bills, and food. Hopefully he'll get a cash perk when he levels up again (I choose these at random, so it's not a sure thing) or else he may have to consider getting a day job.
Ben Tellerman is the son of Mason Tellerman (who we met in prison) and Lakshmi Broke; he has five siblings. His paternal grandparents are also still alive; Jessie Larson is very elderly, but Brandon Tellerman is a vampire. Unlike his brother Tyler, Ben opted not to go to Uni and is now living at Melrose (in "Matt's" apartment) and working in the Adventure career. He's not rich, but he's doing quite well for himself. It helps that he doesn't have any loan debts. He has furniture at least.
Phineaus Furley is a premade Uni student who graduated and moved to Melrose Place (he's in "Jane's" unit). He's so broke that the only furniture he has is a card table/chair with the free computer on it. He can't even afford a bed and has to sleep on a bench in the courtyard. He wasn't able to find a job in Science (his LTW) initially, so took a job in Culinary. Unfortunately the job didn't start for several days, leaving him without income. This round Science came up, which is great, not only because it's what he wanted but also because he'll go to work a day sooner and earn some much needed cash.
The final resident at Melrose Place is Will Bruty, plant son of Charles Bruty (grandson of Sandy); he has two plant brothers. Will is moderately successful in his Culinary career (his LTW), but has never been lucky romantically. He's never been in love and has only had a few dates, despite being halfway through adulthood already. He was off work this round, so when a friend called and asked him on an outing, I let him go, hoping he'd meet someone. He did meet a couple of women, but barely spoke to them, preferring to play catch with his friend. There was some drama, however, when his friend flirted with someone right in front of his girlfriend. The rest of the outing was mostly slapping and fighting, so Will ended up going back to his lonely apartment by himself as usual.
Emily Lee is yet another premade Uni sim. After graduation she moved to Bella Park Condos, where she is the only (playable) resident. She's working in Adventure and doing ok financially, though she does have a big loan payment coming up. She's been dating two different guys for a while now, but no decision has been made about which one (if either) she wants to be with long term. We'll see.
Gunnar Roque and Jasmine Rai are premade Uni students, who now live together at Hillside Haven Apartments. Gunnar works in Intelligence and Jasmine in Journalism. I'm not sure how long this relationship will last given that neither of them is particularly faithful and they've broken up/got back together so many times throughout college that there's no telling what will happen next with these two.
Lexie Broke is the daughter of Heather Broke; she has three siblings. Currently Lexie is living at Hillside Haven Apartments and working in the Intelligence career. Lexie is very "friendly" and dates around quite a bit without ever settling down and that's just the way she likes it. She likes having her own space with few responsibilities outside of her job. I don't see this changing in the near future, but you never know with sims, they're unpredictable.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/27/20
Meredith Landgraab is the daughter of Lucy and Malcolm Landgraab; she has two siblings who are vampires, so even though she's the youngest, she's now the oldest. She also has four adopted children, who are now adults, and three biological children, who she gave birth to very late in adulthood - twin girls and a boy. The younger kids' father is Carter Broke. After their breakup, she and the kids moved here to Crossroads Apartments, where they have a fairly spacious 3-bedroom unit. Meredith is currently using up vacation days after topping Culinary, but because she's an elder, she will not be changing jobs once she does so. Instead she will continue to work, taking any vacation as it comes up, and then retiring at age 65.
Also living at Crossroads, we have twins Delilah and Dwayne Custer and their friend Mark Grundstrom. Dee and Dwayne are the children of Solveig Bachman and Justin Kim; they have four additional siblings. Dee is working in Military and dating around, though all her love interests seem to be married, so not sure what sort of future she's hoping for. Dwayne works in Law and is only dating one girl, but I'm pretty sure she's dating several, so perhaps no future there for him either. Mark is the son of Toby and Renee Grundstrom; he has three siblings. Mark works in the Slacker career and has been dating one of his professors since college. He's not sure, however, if he wants to make the relationship more permanent.
The third unit at Crossroads is occupied by roommates Joel Hanby, Chaz Whippler, and Tom Freshe. Chaz and Tom are, of course, premade Uni students. Joel is the son of Aiden Broke and Lucy Hanby; he has four siblings. These three guys became friends in college and decided to get a place together after graduation. Joel is the only one so far to find a job in his LTW career of Medicine. Chaz wants to be an Athlete, but is working in Gaming for now, while Tom is working in Paranormal until something comes up in Business. Financially they're pretty strapped for cash at the moment, not to mention they all have substantial student loans hanging over their heads, but hopefully they'll be able to earn enough to cover everything.
Arianna Bruty is the plant daughter of Sandy Bruty; she has four plant siblings. Arianna has been unlucky in love most of her adult life, but she finally met someone, Zoe, while on vacation in Three Lakes. They had a long distance relationship for quite a while, but Zoe finally agreed to marry Arianna. They were living in the trailer park, but decided they'd like children and so moved into a two bedroom apartment in Crossroads. They are awaiting their first child next round. Zoe will be staying at home with their child, since her LTW is to max her skills. Arianna will continue to work in Culinary which is her LTW.
Happy Simming!

Jane and Castor Nova are premade Uni students who are now married and living at High Life Condos. They work in Intelligence and Adventure, respectively. No children yet, but that's a relief as they're just keeping their heads above water paying rent, bills, and Castor's student loan. Castor got a promotion this round which was a huge help.
Matthew Hart and William Williamson are premade Uni students who graduated recently and decided to share an apartment at High Life Condos. They both wanted to work in Intelligence, but had to take other jobs for a while. However, this round Intel finally came up, which is great news for these guys since to say they're broke and in debt up to their eyeballs would be an understatement.
Eric Landgraab is the son of Stephen and Summer Landgraab. His mother died when he was very young and he was raised by his father and "stepmother"; altogether he has ten siblings, of which he is second in age. He currently lives alone in the Avalon Villas (really Bella's Belles, you know why), where he works in Entertainment, keeps searching for Mr. Right, and -oh yeah- practices dark magic. I don't have too many witches/warlocks in this 'hood, I guess because I haven't really figured out what their role is yet. I never know what to do with their want to "cast spell" because there are so many choices and nothing to really narrow it down. Eventually something will come to me, but until then I'm just winging it.
James Radcliffe has led a rather sad life. He was a "teacher" at my pre-Uni college. After the colleges were shut down, he moved to Avalon Villas, and subsequently fell in love with Faith Dreamer, who was a Uni student at the time. He saved and planned for the time they'd be together after she finished school, but that day never came because Faith died in college. Since then James has been pretty unlucky in love, just never really meeting anyone until recently when he started dating Evelyn Deppiesse, though that's not like to go anywhere since Evelyn "dates" everyone. He's financially stable, but he's not really moving up the ranks in the Culinary career as fast as he'd like. He's still only a host despite being nearly an elder at this point. Even his cat died a while back and he's been alone ever since. Poor guy.
Delilah O'Feefe is a premade Uni student who moved into Avalon Villas after graduation. I'm not sure how long she'll be able to stay here though, as she is very broke. Apart from the kitchen and bathroom fixtures that came with the apartment, the only furniture she owns are a cheap loveseat, a card table and chair, a phone, and Mr. Humble's free computer. She has $16 cash and didn't work this round, though she does have a job in Art (her LTW is Adventure, however, so she's looking for that still). She's dating a couple of guys, but hasn't decided on one over the other. Maybe she should pick quickly before she ends up in the homeless shelter.

Shanna Copur is the daughter of Alicia and Dominique Copur. She has three living siblings. She and her sisters were raised by their brother Andrew Ottomas when both their parents went to jail. Though her dad is out now, she has no relationship with him. Shanna has two adopted sons, who she has struggled to raise on her own while also running a boutique in Bluewater. The shop is not very successful, but Shanna keeps trying. A while back she started dating Sarah McCarthy, an elder townie who lived in her building, and they've now moved in together. Financially, Sarah is not much help since she doesn't have a job, though she does do some financial consulting for extra cash. By the way, Shanna and Sarah live in the High Life Condos, which are really the Sentinel Apartments; I had the same issue here as with Sunrise. I forget where, but I actually do have copies of the original lots in another 'hood, so at least they weren't lost completely.
Chris Sims is the daughter of Belinda Alpha; she has one brother, is married to Xavier Sims (a former townie), has a son Kurt, and is pregnant. Oh, and she was turned into a vampire against my will since the last time I played her. Oh, AND her entire family is sick with a mysterious disease. How's that for annoying? The only good thing in the whole situation is that Chris recently reached the top of the Athletic career and, as is the custom here, is currently using up all her vacation time before switching to a job in Music, which is her new LTW. Since she has quite a few days to burn through and only works three days a week, she can rest easy and just stay in her coffin all day without fear for the time being. Her husband Xavier is at the top of the Slacker career and is looking to shift into Business, but needs his degree first, which he's been working on for a while and is almost finished. (Note: they also live at High Life.)

Pleasantview 8/24/20
Kevin and Marie Bruty live in the other side of the duplex with their plant daughter Michelle (technically only Kevin's daughter). Kevin is the plant son of Sandy Bruty; he has four plant siblings. Marie is a former townie. Kevin has the LTW of having six grandchildren and is working in the Gamer career. Marie wants to earn $100,000 and is working in Music. Michelle will become an adult next round and probably just stay here for a while. Since plant sims don't need much, a lot of them can live in one small house without any trouble. And it's not as if she'll have the chance to meet people and form friendships during toddlerhood. Hopefully she'll roll a LTW that doesn't take too much education because her parents don't really have the money for that.
Patrick, Devin, and Lindsay Wong are vampire siblings. Their parents are Matthew Picaso and Maura Wong of the vampire lot. Besides each other, they have six other siblings (one of their sisters died of sunlight poisoning). Their only other adult sibling is married. They've been living together (ironically in the Sunrise Apartments) ever since leaving home and it works for them. Note: Sunrise Apartments are just Boomerang Apartments renamed. I had a custom apartment building that got corrupted and rather than rebuild, I just replaced it with a similar building. Patrick works in Gaming, Devin in Slacker, and Lindsay in Culinary. Luckily none of their LTWs required college degrees; college is miserable for vamps and online degrees are expensive and time consuming.
Pamela Broke is the adopted daughter of Jade Broke; she has five siblings. Pamela's boyfriend Calvin Dreamer is the vampire son of Christine and Nathan Dreamer; he has five living siblings (his sister, who was also a vampire, died in college) and is working his way up in the Entertainment career. Pamela is quite accomplished, having already completed one LTW and being well on her way to completing a second, as well as having earned an online masters degree for her new job in Education. She's pretty focused on career success, which may be why her relationships don't tend to last. This one is no exception, I'm afraid. Pamela and Calvin decided to call it quits this round, and he'll be moving out though I haven't yet decided where he'll go.
Amy and Meadow Shahan are both former townies who have been married and living at Sunrise Apartments for some time. They recently moved to a bigger unit after adopting their daughter Elise. Amy worked hard on her online degree to get into the Education career. Now that she's an elder, she'll have limited time to reach the top before retirement age, but she might just make it. Meadow works in Law Enforcement and wants to have a golden anniversary, which was unlikely before due to the substantial age difference between her and Amy, but has now been rendered impossible thanks to "Vamps Gone Wild". Meadow was turned since I last played her, which is especially annoying since I don't allow cures in this 'hood, so she'll be stuck with that LTW forever without ever being able to complete it. Grrr.
Blossom Moonbeam, Klara Vonderstein, and Stella Terrano are all premade Uni students who graduated recently and decided to share a tiny one bedroom apartment at Sunrise. While Klara and Stella have been able to find their LTW jobs (Entertainment and Gamer, respectively), Blossom has been unable to find a job in Natural Science and is therefore working in Business in the meantime. They're all pretty broke at the moment, but they are slowly acquiring furnishing for the apartment, so that's something. It seems unlikely that anyone will move out in the near future, given that Klara's boyfriend is already living with someone, and unbeknownst to them Blossom and Stella are both dating the same guy. Though you never know, he might choose one of them and ruin their friendship. We'll see what happens.

Mia Landry is the daughter of Gabe Landry and Kendal Greaves; she has five siblings and no children. Mia is nearly an elder and has been bouncing from relationship to relationship her entire adult life. Currently she's living with Liam Bruty and his daughter Caryl. Liam is the plant son of Kirby Bruty (grandson of Charles, great-grandson of Sandy); he has four siblings. The family lives in a small house downtown, along with two dogs and a cat. The could afford a better place since they're both doing exceptionally well in their careers (Mia in Gaming, Liam in Culinary), but I think they want to save a little more to buy a house (and maybe to see if things work out between them?)
The alien lot is the only creature lot that still functions more or less as it was intended. I started with two former townies, Jay Goss and Ricky Leong. Their mission was to have alien babies. Since there was no "summon aliens" back then, that meant a LOT of stargazing for those two. They both ended up getting abducted on the same night and giving birth to a set of twins each on the same day. I call these four (Quinn, Mira, Xander, and Zena) "the quads" due to the nature of aliens in which they all have the same poli tech parent. Much later Jay did have another alien son, Darius. Once the boys got too old to have any more babies, I had them move in a couple more guys to carry on. They chose former maid Remington Harris and former townie (one of Jon Smith Tricou's kids) Robi Jeffress. Since I don't really need more aliens (I just really like them) I've relaxed the rules on these two a bit, allowing them to try for abduction only if they roll a related want, like "have a baby", "stargaze", or "meet aliens". In this fashion, Remington has fathered one daughter, Lysandra, and Robi has two children, Zaira and Quade. The girls are teens and Quade is a child. Robi did try for an abduction this round, but it didn't happen. In less than a week these two will be too old to have alien children, so it'll be time to decide whether I want to carry on with new guys or discontinue the alien lot as it is.
Former townie Elise Seifert and her new husband, former hobby lot director Cooper, live in one half of a duplex downtown, along with Elise's toddler daughter from a previous relationship with Dylan Broke and their infant son, who was just born this round. Elise works in Law Enforcement and Cooper is working on getting his online degree so he can start a job in Architecture. With only one income and money going out to pay for Cooper's school, money is tight right now. In fact, they've gotten a little behind on the rent. Hopefully Elise will earn a promotion when she heads back to work and they can get caught up.

Sabastian Broke is the son of AJ and Darcy Broke; he has five siblings, including his brother Geoffrey, who recently moved in with him after his marriage broke up. Geoffrey has two sons, one with his ex-wife (he lives with her) and an alien son who he was pregnant with when he moved in. Damon is a child now, which makes things a lot easier on the guys. Sabastian works days in the Science career, while Geoffrey works nights as a Dancer, so there's always someone home with Damon. If Bas is jealous at all that he's been trying for ages to get alien pregnant, while his brother just lucked into it, he keeps it to himself.
Riley Ottomas is the adopted daughter of Sharla Ottomas; she has five siblings. Though she's been involved in numerous relationships/affairs over the years, she's never been married nor had children. Currently she lives in a large townhouse downtown where it is her custom to sublet the extra upstairs bedrooms to young professionals, not because she needs the help with the rent, but because being around younger sims keep her feeling young and vital. She currently has two roommates: Braden Dreamer and Mira Leong. Braden is the son of Nathan and Christine Dreamer; he has five living siblings. This round Braden reached the top of the Adventure career and, after taking his vacation time, will be looking to move into Gaming. Mira is the alien daughter of Ricky Leong; she has one known brother, but has become friendly with a couple of her "sisters from other misters". Mira works in Oceanography while also finishing her masters. In fact, she's quite the busy bee because when she's not at work or working on the computer, she's studying for skills, caring for her dog, or working in her garden.
Next up is the plant sims lot. Back when I was trying to get more creatures in my game, I created "creature lots" downtown. The werewolf lot no longer exists, the vampire lot is being phased into something different, and the plant sim lot is in limbo until I figure out what to do with it next. Currently Sandy Bruty (one of the original two plants sims) is living here with her son Charles and Dominic Picaso (the son of Jessica Picaso, the other original plant sim, now deceased). They're all elders, who are basically just living out the ends of their lives. They garden, hang out in the "tree house", fish sometimes. There's no need for them to produce any more plant sims, since my 'hood is overrun with them at this point. Sandy has five children, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Jessica was a little less prolific than Sandy; she had three children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. I'm not sure whether I have more plant sims or more vampires, but it's got to be close at this point.
Jessie Carr is a former townie who was moved in because he fathered a child with a playable sim. I don't like having townie fathers roaming around town in limbo while their children/grandchildren grow old and die, so if a townie becomes a father, he gets moved in and becomes playable. Jessie's baby mama didn't want to have a relationship with him, nor did she want to raise a baby, so she gave it up to the orphanage. In any event, Jessie is now playable. He lives in a small rental house and works in the Slacker career. His LTW is for Medicine, but without so much as a high school diploma, he's got a lot of online learning to do before that's even an option. I guess I should note here that when I move in townies I assume their education level is equal to the minimum requirements for the job they have. In Jessie's case this was a bad thing because the Slacker career does not require any education at all. However, thanks to a promotion at work and discovering a new star, Jessie had enough money to enroll himself in the GED program, so he's on his way.

DJ Verse is a premade Uni sim, who recently graduated and moved into a rental house downtown. She aspires to be in Law, but is working in Paranormal until something comes up. This round she moved in her college girlfriend, former professor Calista Lew, who found a Culinary job right away. I considered moving the couple to a nicer place, since Calista brought in $12,000, but decided against it because that money will go a long way towards paying off DJ's student loan. So they bought a few things to make the house more comfortable and settled in. Once they pay off the loan, they can start saving for a better place to live.
Clarence Ramirez is the son of Checo and Lisa Ramirez. After college he moved to a small rental house downtown. His father lived with him for a bit after his parents divorced, but then Checo got remarried and Clarence was on his own again. This round Clarence had a date with his college sweetheart and they decided to move in together. Tracy (a former dormie) brought in $18,000! That was enough to make Clarence's final payment on his student loan, as well as get this couple a new apartment, preferably one with room for a double bed. Ultimately I decided to move them to Tech Terrace, where they will be neighbors with Stacy and Andrzej Landgraab, as well as Sophie Young and Eric Parker.
Brian Donnelly is a former "teacher" at my pre-Uni colleges. He had a long-term relationship with Heather Broke, which resulted in two children: Aaron and Bridget. When he and Heather split up, Brian moved with the kids to this townhouse. It's fairly small, but has three bedrooms. The garage was converted into a second apartment, so Brian doesn't have access to that. Because he's now an elder and he never had a job when he was with Heather, Brian has had to take an elder job, which is not great for finances. Now that Aaron is a teen, he also has a teen job, but between the two of them it's unlikely they'll be able to keep up for long. It looks as though they might just squeak by on the next rent payment, but after that who knows?
Brandon GilsCarbo is the son of Marylena and Goopy GilsCarbo. Between his parents he has ten siblings. He lives in the studio garage apartment next door to Brian Donnelly. His LTW is for Music, but he's working in Athletic until a job in Music comes up. He doesn't have many friends outside of his family, but he hangs out with Brian's teenaged son Aaron sometimes. Hopefully he'll get a few promotions between now and rent day, or else he might be in trouble financially.

Stacy and Andrzej Landgraab have been married for a short while. They were living in the studio apartment attached to Andrzej's family home, but when they found out they were expecting a baby, they moved downtown to Tech Terrace, where they could just barely afford to rent a three bedroom apartment. Andrzej is the adopted son of Meredith Landgraab; he has six siblings. Stacy is the daughter of Justin and Amelia Pearson; she has just two living siblings (but she once had five siblings, so sad). Andrzej is working in the Medical field, while Stacy will be a stay-at-home mom to their son Lane, who was just born this round. Stacy's LTW is to max her skills, which is perfect for staying at home. Hopefully Andrzej will get promoted soon and often, as they need to finish furnishing their apartment, not to mention paying rent and starting Lane's college fund.
Sophie Young and Eric Parker are both former townies, who recently moved into Tech Terrace. Neither has any children, but they were both involved in previous relationships with partners who did. Maybe that's what drew them together - the stress of dealing with someone else's kids. In any event, Eric is working in Politics and Sophie is at the top of the Science career. She's currently taking vacation days before changing careers to Criminal. That will probably cause problems in their relationship, but not for a little while yet.
Edwin Sharpe and Mitch Indie are premade Uni sims. Edwin has a sister Roxie, who we met earlier. Edwin and Mitch are roomies in a tiny rental house. Furnishings are sparse and space is limited, but the rent is cheap and they both have good jobs (Edwin in Medicine and Mitch in Architecture), so it will get better in time. Unfortunately, they both have sizable student loans hanging over their heads which will cut into their paychecks substantially. Hopefully these two will keep their heads above water long enough to save up some money.

Jan Tellerman is nearly as infamous as Goopy GilsCarbo in Pleasantview. She's (obviously) a former townie with the LTW to top Culinary. She's also a Romance sim who seems to have three bolt chemistry for almost every man she's ever met. Because she's so "popular" with men, Jan actually gave birth for the fourth time this round. And for the third time, since she's just not the maternal type, she gave her baby up to the orphanage. She actually did try the mom thing out once when she was living with Orlando Bertino, but when they broke up she was relieved that he took Teri with him when he left. She still helps to support Teri by adding to her college fund, but is much happier living alone in her fancy condo at Cornerstone.
The House of Fallen Trees is the official vampire lot downtown. It was originally intended to provided the neighborhood with vampires and so I set up Matthew Picaso and his lady love Maura Wong there as the original vampires. They had ten children who would be turned into vampires upon becoming adults. The first five have already grown up and been turned, however the younger five are still in residence. Since Pleasantview has become overrun with vampires thanks to "Vamps Gone Wild" I no longer need a vampire lot, so I'm planning to morph this lot into something else. Before I can do that though I need to wait for some of the kids to grow up. I still plan to turn the remaining kids, but after that Matthew and Maura will embark on a new project. I plan to get Matthew into the Criminal career, work him up to the top, and then have him become a crime boss of sorts. I will open up the House of Fallen Trees to other sims in the Criminal career, so they'll have a place to live under the protection of a Criminal Mastermind. I don't have all the details worked out, but basically Matthew will protect them from prison in exchange for profiting from their criminal activities. I'm also toying with the idea of having Maura become a lawyer, so there will be in-house counsel for them, maybe at cheaper rates than hiring an outside lawyer? Yet another way for Matthew and Maura to profit from their "guests". This is a ways off still, as Matthew has not found a Criminal job, nor do we really have room in the household at the moment, but I'm really looking forward to it.

Pleasantview 8/18/20
We are now in Downtown, where a large number of residents reside. Nearly all the properties here are rentals, including the houses, though there are a few "special" residences that we'll get to in time. For now, we'll start with Cornerstone Condos and Nadine Kim. Nadine is the adopted daughter of Jace and Heath Lothario. Her parents are no longer together, but she has a younger brother from her father Heath's second marriage. She also technically has three biological siblings (Rhonda, Hailey, and Christian) since she was taken from her bio parents as a child. Now Nadine is the single mother of four children: Madison, Anton, Steffi, and Monika. Madison is away at boarding school, Anton and Steffi are children, and Monika is a toddler. Her ex-husband Alon moved back in with his father after the divorce, leaving Nadine to pay the rent on the penthouse alone. Luckily, she's at the top of the Law career and can just manage it, though she can't also afford to add to the kids' college funds. It's not too bad though, because Alon is on top of that at least. At the moment, Nadine is trying to use up her accumulated vacation time, so she also doesn't need to worry about nanny expenses. She's doing just fine I think.
Sorry for the short post. I usually like to get at least two households in, but time got away from me today. Tomorrow we'll meet Jan Tellerman. Happy Simming!

Joshua Ruben (Martin's twin) and Tiffany Sampson live next door to Martin and Heather in the Mt. Pleasant Apartments. They moved in together after graduation. They both have the LTW to top Dance, but Tiffany's the only one working in the career for some reason. Maybe they didn't move in together right away? Anyway, Joshua is working as an Athlete until Dance comes up, which it did not this round. He did, however, score a promotion, so that's nice for their bank account.
Nick Broke is the son of AJ and Darcy Broke. He has five siblings and two daughters from previous relationships. He lived with his dad for a while in the mansion that technically belongs to his uncle (his father's brother Lucas), but now he's moved into Mt. Pleasant Apartments with his new girlfriend Yvette Kim (adopted daughter of Justin Kim) and his two girls. Since he's already established in his Law Enforcement career and Yvette has just finished college, he's the only one working at the moment. However, he had a good sum saved up before the move and Yvette was given a fairly hefty amount from her father as well, so they're in good shape financially. Hopefully Yvette will find a job in Journalism soon, but there's no rush, and at least in the meantime they can avoid hiring a nanny.
Nerissa Gregory and Rose Dai are both former townies. Nerissa was the long-term girlfriend of Calista Copur, but left her to be with Rose. They recently moved into the final unit of Mt. Pleasant Apartments. Nerissa is at the top of the Slacker career and Rose is working as a Gamer. Nerissa has also taken an interest in witchcraft lately, so she has the extra bedroom set up with her cauldron and spell book.
And that wraps up Pleasant Valley. There are a number of empty houses here still, plus a lot of available land for more homes/apartments, so plenty of room to grow. Tomorrow we'll head to Downtown. Until then, Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/16/20
Orlando Bertino is, of course, a former townie. He was involved with Jan Tellerman and they had a daughter together, Teri, who Orlando took custody of when they broke up. Orlando and Teri now live at the Mountain View Apartments. He is working on his masters while also working in the Oceanography career. Money is definitely tight. So tight that he couldn't pay the nanny and now she won't come back, meaning Orlando has to depend on a neighbor to watch Teri before school, or he has to go in late, which does not help his performance. Luckily, Teri will grow into a teen in a few days, allowing Orlando to focus more on his work.
Erin and Clarence Phillippe also live in the Mountain View Apartments, along with their daughter Crystal. Clarence is a former townie and Erin is the daughter of Nathan and Christine Dreamer; she has five living siblings (her twin sister became a vampire and then died while still in college). Erin and Clarence were living in the trailer park downtown until they had Crystal and decided they needed a bigger place. This three bedroom apartment suits them just fine, leaving room for them to expand their family. They are financially stable, if not wealthy, and they take turns working/taking vacation days so that one of them will always be at home with their daughter.
Renaud Delarosa is a former townie who has two sons from previous relationships. He and his current girlfriend, Brooke Lawson (also a former townie), live together at the Mountain View Apartments. Renaud's younger son lives just across the courtyard with his mother, Renaud's ex - Christy Stratton Ramirez. Renaud has been working hard to reach the top of the Science career; he's nearly there, but had a setback this round when a bad chance card caused him to get demoted. Brooke is working as a Slacker, which should be a piece of cake for a Knowledge sim who loves skilling.
Martin Ruben and Heather Huffington are premade Uni students who moved in together after graduating. Martin, of course, has a twin brother Joshua who lives in the same building. They live in Mt. Pleasant Apartments, by the way. Martin is working in the Gamer career, while Heather is working in Music. Also, I was surprised to learn that Heather was a vampire upon entering the household, as she wasn't the last time I played her. Sigh. I was able to keep her alive until they both went to work to earn the money for her coffin thankfully.

Checo Ramirez and his new wife, former townie Christy (Stratton) Ramirez, live in the Mountain View Apartments along with Christy's toddler son from a previous relationship with Renaud Delarosa. You may recall that Checo has two adult children from his first marriage to Lisa. He's very close to both of them, but the situation is still awkward with their mother, so he only sees them when she's not around. Since he's an elder now, he's just working part-time in Science, while Christy is working in Education and trying to finish her masters. Hopefully she'll get promoted soon, because they're already behind in the rent and Rusty will grow up next round and need a new bed.
That's it for today. Happy Simming!

Jace Rusewicz is a former townie, who is an elder werewolf with three alien children. He works in the Science career, while his long-time girlfriend works in Athletic. His son Marshall grew into a teen this round and rolled the LTW to top Adventure. The twin girls are still just children. The family recently moved to this larger house in Pleasant Valley, though they still only have two bedrooms, so eventually they'll want to expand. Right now that's not in the budget though.
Calista Copur is the daughter of Alicia and Dominique Copur; she has three living siblings. Her parents went to prison when she was very young and she was raised by her older brother Andrew Ottomas. Though her father is still alive, they're not close. Calista lived in an apartment complex downtown for a long time with her girlfriend Nerissa, however shortly after moving to Pleasant Valley, they broke up and now Nerissa is with someone new. Calista's pretty lonely, to say the least, but she's focusing her energy on her job in the Entertainment career and it's paying off because she got a promotion this round.
Frances Worthington III lives in the Audrey Manor apartment building. We met his fiancé Marion Mendoza way back in Uni. While he waits for her to graduate, Frances is trying to find an Athletic job and get settled into the apartment. He hasn't had any luck on the job search, so took a job in Culinary in the meantime. He'll need it if he's going to have any chance of paying the very high rent come Monday.
Almeric Davis and his former dormie girlfriend Anna Lawson also live at Audrey Manor. Sadly, Almeric's twin Aldric died in college, leaving him with no other family. That will soon be remedied, however, as the couple is expecting their first child. Almeric is working in Military and Anna found a job in Intelligence this round, though she won't be going in until after the baby is born. It may not be the best time for them to add to their family, given their finances are pretty dire. They barely have any furniture, Almeric has a huge student loan debt hanging over his head, and they're living on one income for the time being. I guess he figures that life is short and he needs to jump right in.

Pleasantview 8/13/20
Claire Tellerman is the daughter of Katie Tellerman; she has six living siblings and two children. She's also a vampire. Life is pretty much a daily struggle for Claire. She didn't graduate high school, so getting a job in Business is out of the question. Working in general is difficult due to being a vampire and having two young children to care for and little money for a nanny. Luckily for Claire her kids, Laura and Jesse, grew into teen and child, respectively, last round so they don't need as much care from her. Her primary source of income is from financial consulting, which keeps the bills paid and food on the table, but it's not enough to pay for her GED, much less provide college funds for her children. Jesse's father, Alon Kim, contributes to his fund, but Laura is out of luck given that she's adopted and therefore has no other parent to depend on. This round Claire had the flu and I was afraid I might lose her because she kept getting out of her coffin all day until her needs were very low. She just barely survived. Honestly, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Her children would've gone to live with their grandmother if she'd died, which probably would've been great for them. Que sera, sera.
Zena Dreamer is the alien daughter of Jay Goss. She comes from the alien lot downtown and has two official brothers. Zena was married to Nathan Dreamer briefly, a man old enough to be her father at least, and their union produced a daughter, Nevada, who is currently a child. Zena is doing well in her career and Nathan helps out financially with Nevada's college fund, so while they're not wealthy, they're doing fine. Zena hasn't started dating again yet, but she had a group outing this round that included Evan Broke and I noticed they have three bolts. Evan is currently married, but his wife is Lakshmi, who has been married three times, and if I recall their relationship is not strong at the moment, so he could be a possibility at some point. We'll see how it goes.
Marie Mazza is a former townie who used to be involved with Armando Ottomas. After they broke up, Marie moved to a tiny one bedroom house in Pleasant Valley. Almost immediately following her move two things happened: first she got pregnant from a one night stand with Alon Kim, then she became a vampire. This round her son was born and she named him Theo. After buying a crib and changing table, Marie is nearly broke. She'll have a few more vacation days, but then she's going to have to hire a nanny and get back to her day job, which sucks for a vampire. Hopefully she'll survive.
Cole and Brittany Long recently moved to Pleasant Valley because they needed a larger home for their rapidly growing family. They haven't been married terribly long, but they already have a child, a toddler, and a baby on the way. Cole is a third generation spare of the Alpha Legacy; Brittany is a former townie. Cole's LTW is to have six grandchildren, so in the meantime he's working in the Athletic career. Brittany wants to work in Education, but she needs a masters for that, so she's working in Culinary and working on her degree online. They had to spend the bulk of their savings to buy and remodel the house, so they don't have a lot of money right now. I'm a little concerned that Brittany has not had her first pop yet, though they couldn't try for baby so I'm confident she is pregnant. I've had sims who never popped and still had their babies, so I'm hoping all will work out.

Bruce and Lois Tellerman have only been married a short time, but they already have a toddler daughter and another baby on the way. Bruce is the son of Brandon Tellerman; he has a couple of siblings, but I don't think he's ever met them. Lois is the daughter of Landon Ottomas and Tanya Grundstrom; we met her twin Chloe a few days ago. She also has a couple of brothers, but she only knows about the older one. Both Bruce and Lois are working in Culinary, though Bruce is a little higher up the ladder due to not missing days because of pregnancy. If they plan on having more than two children, however, they'll need to think about expanding their house, as it's pretty compact.
Logan Ottomas is the adopted son of Sharla Ottomas; he has five siblings and three children. His oldest child, Russell, was born when Logan was in a relationship with Kelly Broke. When Kelly decided to join the commune, Logan carried on raising Russell on his own. When Russell was a teen, Logan married former hobby lot director, Sharlene, and they had a daughter together, Claire. When Logan and Sharlene later divorced, Logan and Russell moved to a trailer park downtown, while Sharlene retained custody of Claire. That may not have been the best decision, however, because Claire has been in trouble ever since, getting kicked out of boarding school and serving two stints in juvie. A while later, Logan was abducted and gave birth to an alien daughter, Kaitlyn. Russell was an adult by this time and had just married his high school sweetheart, Trudi. Trudi is actually the daughter of the original werewolves on the now defunct werewolf lot downtown. Her parents died when she was a teen, leaving her to care for her younger sister. Consequently, neither of them were ever turned, bringing the werewolf experiment to a screeching halt. As soon as her sister grew into a teen, Trudi left to marry Russell. Unfortunately, a freak accident (I don't remember exactly what it was) took her sister's life as well, leaving Trudi as the only living member of her family. Trudi and Russell now have a family of their own, a daughter named Gigi who is only a few days younger than Kaitlyn, and a son named Chip who became a toddler this round. (Kaitlyn and Gigi are children, btw.) Logan is in his fifties now, but still working in Architecture. Trudi and Russell are both planning to go into Journalism one day, but since neither of them finished high school, they had to get their GEDs and now they're working on college degrees online and working as Athletes in the meantime.

You may know Roxie Sharpe and Jonah Powers from Uni. Jonah has no family and Roxie has a brother, Edwin. Since graduating from ALT, the couple has been living together in a sparsely furnished house in Pleasant Valley. Jonah found a job in Music, but Roxie has had no luck finding Culinary. Consequently, they don't have much money. Unfortunately they both have exactly half as much money now because they broke up at the end of the round. Despite having 3-bolt chemistry, they just couldn't make it work. I consulted all the possibilities they had for moving in with friends/relatives, but nothing worked out for either of them, so in the end I moved Roxie to Las Casas Baratas, an apartment complex Downtown that, as the name suggests, is very affordable. Next time she's played, she'll need to take whatever job is available until Culinary comes up, so as not to end up in the homeless shelter.
Marla Biggs is a premade Uni student who recently graduated and moved in with her (former dormie) boyfriend Orlando Gothier. They're pretty broke right now, but this round Orlando found a job in Education, which is his LTW, and Marla took an Artist job, since her LTW of Architecture has yet to appear. They need to make some immediate cash, not only because Marla has a sizable student loan to pay off, but also because they discovered they're expecting a baby in the near future.
Delia Ottomas is the daughter of Nathan and Christine Dreamer. She has five living siblings and three children with Luke Pearson. She and Luke have been on again/off again for a long time and they've both had other relationships in between. Delia was even married for a short time, but in the end she always seems to come back to Luke. Since he recently broke things off with his girlfriend, there may be some hope that Delia will finally get to move into his mansion and give her children the life they've never had. For now, she's being cautious and continuing to rely only on herself. She works in Law Enforcement, but takes as many vacation days as possible so she doesn't have to spend money on a nanny. She also has a nice little garden to supplement their food supply and income. She doesn't have a lot, but she's working as hard as she can. This round Delia's oldest son Arthur grew into a teen, which is a great relief for her because now he can watch the twins while she works nights.

Pleasantview 8/10/20
The first household in Pleasant Valley is the Traveller home. Currently there are no Travellers living here because the only living Traveller, Tina, is still at boarding school. I don't remember how much of this story I told when playing Tina so this is what happened. I've played the Travellers in other 'hoods and always found them to be so tedious apart from Tina. So here in Pleasantview I decided I'd take the Travellers to all the vacation destinations and have them get all the vacation memories, just to say I'd done it once (technically twice because they both got all the memories), then kill them off. I built them a grand house that's based on a house where I used to work as a nanny and filled it with all the things they brought back from their travels, including Amar Bigfoot, who resides there now. Amar takes care of the house while waiting for Tina to finish school. As a side project, I have Amar breeding pets with interesting color patterns and giving them up to the adoption pool, just for fun and to give my sims some unique pets. Amar is about half-way through adulthood, so he should be nearing elder by the time Tina returns home.
Next up is Darcy Broke, who is the adopted vampire daughter of Sharla Ottomas. She has five siblings, five children, and six grandchildren. She was turned the day before she would have become an elder, so all of her siblings (apart from Armando who is also a vampire) are now elders. Darcy's mother used to write novels to support the family and Darcy decided to follow in her footsteps, writing a long series of detective novels featuring "Inspector Hugh Ever". Most of the titles revolve around ways sims can die including, "Get a Flu", "A Shocking Discovery", "The Shaft", and "Freezer Burn", to name a few. Her upcoming novel will be "Hail to the Chief". It just gives me something fun to do with her. Single vampires can be dull.
Aiyana Gray is a former townie, who I believe was originally moved in as a roommate for Ella Ottomas and Demi Greaves. She's still very close with these two ladies. On her own, Aiyana adopted four children: Michael, Jeannie, Glen, and Dante. Glen is at Briarwood, while the other three remain here. Recently Aiyana started seeing Quinn Leong (alien son of Ricky Leong and part of the "Get More Aliens" project) and he moved in a couple rounds ago. This round the couple welcomed their daughter Harper into the family. Since Aiyana is nearly an elder, they won't be able to have any more children together, so I'm glad they got at least this one in, though I was a little disappointed she didn't get her father's green skin.
Goopy GilsCarbo is quite a character, to say the least. He's been through relationship after relationship, fathering children all over town. He currently has eight children (technically nine, but he doesn't know about the one Jan Tellerman gave up to the orphanage): three with ex-wife Marylena, twins with ex-girlfriend Melissa Fancey, and three with his current live-in girlfriend Allyn Shahan. By the way, there are three sets of twins in there and only one girl in the whole bunch (including the extra ninth child). Even though he's supposedly in a committed relationship now, he's still seeing three other women on the side. Though he's doing well in his career (Music), he doesn't make nearly enough money to supply all those kids with college funds, so it's a bit hit or miss. Apart from financial support, however, Goopy is actually a pretty good dad. As a romantic partner, he's complete trash, but oh so interesting, lol.

Pleasantview 8/9/20
Luc Young is a former townie. He has three kids with Melissa Fancey: Jason, and twins Clarissa and Cybil. Jason left for Uni this round, while the twins are still at boarding school for now. Luc works in the Athletic career and wants to max all his skills. After Melissa left him, Luc was married to another former townie, Sophie, for a pretty long time, but that didn't work out either. Now that Jason has left home, I suppose Luc will be on his own for the time being.
Joe and Marion Carr have been married for quite some time. They have one child together, Claire, who is currently at college. Joe is a former townie, who is working in the Dance career, and he's also a werewolf. Marion is a former Diva, who is at the top of the Slacker career, but has the LTW to have 6 pets reach the top of a career. She's doing fairly well with that, just needing one more, though her cat was being difficult this round and refused to go to work. Just like a real cat lol.
Brandon Tellerman is a bit infamous in Pleasantview. He was quite the ladies' man in his day and was known to have as many as 10 love interests at once. Just two days before he became an elder, he was turned into a vampire. Consequently, he's now younger than his remaining siblings (even though he is the firstborn son of Jodie and Komei), as well as his oldest son Mason, who became an elder in prison, if you'll recall. Altogether, Brandon has three children from various relationships, though he's only been married once (to Jessie Larson). He also has six grandchildren and one great-grandson. He's completed three LTWs (top Business, top Law, and have 6 grandchildren) and is now embarking on his fourth - to top Education. His romantic life has dwindled in recent years due mostly to the fact that all his girlfriends keep getting old and dying on him, but I have faith that he'll meet some new flames in time and be back in the saddle again.
Our last household in base Pleasantview is the Copur residence. Dominique and Annabeth Copur have both lived difficult lives. Dom is a former townie who married widowed Alicia Ottomas (Andrew's mother). They had two daughters together, then both were sent to prison. His stepson raised his daughters and consequently, he doesn't have a very close relationship with either of them, nor his two grandsons. His wife died in prison and he was nearly an elder by the time he got out. Annabeth is the daughter of Beau and Jade Broke. Her childhood was chaotic, with her parents splitting when she was very young, her mother adopting several children, and having various boyfriends in and out of the house all the time. Once she was grown, Annabeth spent many years trying to find "the one", only to be disappointed time and time again. Ultimately she settled for Abhijeet Deppiesse, who refused to marry her, but did give her a daughter, Amy (she's at Briarwood). Unfortunately, Abhijeet became a vampire unexpectedly, and ended up dying of sun poisoning. Annabeth raised her daughter alone and sent her off to Briarwood per her request when she became a teen. Shortly thereafter she met Dom and the two hit it off right away and got married. They are both elders by now, so I don't know how much time they'll have together, but I'm rooting for them.
Tomorrow we'll be moving to Pleasant Valley, which is a suburb of Pleasantview that I created when the base 'hood got full. There are no businesses here, just houses and apartments, and there are fewer residents here than in the base 'hood, but there is a lot of room for expansion.
Until tomorrow, Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/8/20
Ty Bubbler is a premade Uni student, who recently finished Uni. He's living in the same building with Christian and Chloe, though his apartment is smaller. He's looking to find a job in Music, but so far it hasn't come up, so he's settling for Culinary at the moment. His apartment is largely unfurnished and, while he just barely managed to scrape together the money to pay his bills, he was unable to make the required payment on his student loan, causing it to accrue 20% interest. Add to that the fact that he didn't even work this round and Ty's household funds are down to just $7. He tried to have a date with Sam Thomas, but she ended up leaving in the middle, so that didn't go as well as he'd hoped either. Poor Ty just can't catch a break.
Andrew Ottomas has led quite an interesting life. He's the son of David and Alicia Ottomas. He grew up the middle child of three, sandwiched between two sisters. When he was a teen his father died and his mother remarried. His mother and stepfather added two more sisters to the family, but shortly thereafter they were both sent to prison. Andrew was an adult by this time and his older sister had married and moved out, but his three younger sisters were left to Andrew to care for. Though he had a long-term relationship with Meredith Landgraab, they never married, as raising his sisters came first for him. Andrew's mother died in prison, and by the time his stepfather got out, all the girls were grown, so Andrew never saw either of them again. By the time the youngest sister moved out, he and Meredith had called things quits, so he spent some time alone before finally meeting and marrying Kaylynn Langerak when he was nearing elderhood. Kaylynn and Andrew have three children together: David (named for Andrew's father) and twins Eliza and Gideon. David's away at Uni and the twins are teens now. Kaylynn was turned into a vampire at some point, so while David is rocketing towards the end of his life, she is remaining young and beautiful while waiting for the six grandchildren she wants to have.
Ryan Jacquet is the son of Gilbert Jacquet and Lila Ottomas. We've met his vampire mother already, as well as his older sister Ella and his twin Gavin. Ryan lives alone in a tiny house, where he is pursuing a career in Music. He's nearly topped it, which is good because he's approaching elderhood. Though he dates quite a bit, he hasn't found anyone he wants to settle down with, and likely never will. He loves his bachelor status.

Pleasantview 8/7/20
Today we'll visit Cynthia Picaso, plant daughter of Jessica Picaso (one of the original plant sims from the plant sim lot); she has two siblings (one of them is Polly Picaso from the commune) and one plant son Stuart, who also lives here with his wife Diane (daughter of Amelia and Justin Pearson) and son Oliver. This round started off normal with the only event of note being that Oliver would grow into a child. The day started with Cynthia going off to work at her Military job, while Stuart studied mechanical (his LTW is to Max Skills), and Diane worked at her robot bench. After putting Oliver down for a nap, Stuart had an outing with his friend Evan Broke and came home just in time for Diane to head off to bed for a quick nap before Oliver's birthday. At 5 pm, Diane awoke and immediately collapsed to the floor. I had been informed that she was sick with a "mysterious disease" at the beginning of the day, but didn't think too much of it, as the "mysterious disease" has been going around Pleasantview for (real life) years and only a handful of sims have ever died from it. Well, Diane has been added to that list now. RIP Diane. Stuart is devastated and poor little Oliver grew up immediately following his mother's death. I know that Diane's mother will also be very sad, especially since Diane is the third of Amelia's six children to predecease her.
Up next we have Jace Lothario and Charles Bertino. Jace is one of the townie kids of Jon Smith Tricou. Most of his siblings have been moved in by now and some are still living. Jace used to be married to Heath Lothario and they have an adult daughter together, as well as four grandchildren. Jace is currently living with his vampire (Jace has a type lol) boyfriend Charles, a former townie who works in the Slacker career. Jace retired a while ago, but now runs an art gallery in Bluewater Village. Though I was sad to see Jace and Heath break up, I really do like this couple. They couldn't be more different, but somehow they make it work.
Andrea (Hogan) Larson is a former townie who was once briefly married to Matthew Larson. She's never been married since, though she has an adopted daughter, Rebecca, who lives with her. She's now a retired Dancer and, oh yeah, a vampire. Grrr. As I've mentioned elder vampires annoy me, and what's more Andrea became a vampire literally the day before she would've undoubtedly died. Anyway, Rebecca is a little more fun to play. She has a LTW of 50 Dream Dates, of which she's completed 15 I think. She's carrying on several romances at once, but I don't think she considers any of them to be serious. She's at the top of the Slacker career, so she doesn't need to work all that much, leaving her plenty of time for socializing, which is just the way she likes it.
Florence Delarosa is an elder who lives alone with her two cats. She has a son from her marriage, Julian, who is a teen and attends boarding school. Her former husband, Renaud, has moved on, but Florence remains alone, either by choice or lack of opportunity, I'm no sure which. She's certainly not a wealthy woman, but she manages to get by with what she earns selling produce from her garden. At this point, I'm just hoping she lives long enough for her son to finish school and return home to take over the household.
Christian and Chloe Cox are newly married and expecting their first child. They live in that house in Pleasantview that looks like a castle. I converted it to apartments a while back. Christian is the son of Marion and Kennedy Cox (both deceased); he has a sister Hailey (plus two more biological siblings Rhonda and Nadine). Chloe is the daughter of Landon Ottomas and Tanya Grundstrom, who we met yesterday, I think. She has two brothers and a twin sister, though she technically doesn't know about the younger brother. Christian works in Medicine and Chloe in Music. They also have a townie roommate, Kaylynn Spitzig, who stayed on even after Chloe married Christian, because at the moment there's still plenty of room and she helps out with the rent. This round they adopted a cat and next round we'll look forward to the arrival of their baby.

Pleasantview 8/6/20
Brittany Korman is the adopted daughter of Jade Broke; she has five siblings and three children. Since her recent breakup with husband Alan (a former "teacher"), it's just her and her youngest child, Jeannette, in the household. Both her teen sons are away at boarding school. Brittany is nearing elderhood and is working in Oceanography, which she is very close to topping. Money is pretty tight though, so she wasn't able to add to the kids' college funds this round.
Miley Futa is the daughter of Houston and Priya Landchild (we met her sister Amelia recently). She's led a pretty sad life. She was married to former townie Alvin Futa for a while and they had a daughter together who died as a teen. Afterwards, they divorced and Alvin remarried, but Miley never did. Her brother Sayid lived with her for a time, before joining the commune; the two were very close and Miley missed him terribly when he left. She did have an unexpected pregnancy at one point, but made the decision to give up the baby since the father would not be in the picture. She's been living on her own for a long time now (she turned 70 this round) and is nearing the end of her life. Since she doesn't have a child to leave her house and fortune to, I'm thinking she might leave everything to her nephew Blaze Broke, since he's the only one of Sayid's children who he actually raised. Plus, having been born on the commune, Blaze has next to nothing and would likely have to live in the homeless shelter after Uni.
Landon Ottomas and Tanya Grundstrom have been together for a very long time. Landon is the adopted son of Sharla Ottomas (he has five siblings); Tanya is the daughter of Sullivan and Sadie Grundstrom (we met her two siblings Toby and Tess earlier). The couple have twin daughters together, Chloe and Lois, who are both grown and married. In addition, Landon has an adult son, Jonathan, who lives with them and a teen son with Rosemary Bruty, who he doesn't acknowledge, as he was the result of an affair that Tanya doesn't know about. Both have the LTW to marry off six kids and both work in the Athletic career. Jonathan works in Culinary and their (pet?) bigfoot, Amar, is looking for a job in Dance. It's a little confusing at times, because I have another bigfoot whose name is also Amar. I've learned that I like playing a bigfoot only slightly more than I like playing a Servo. They can't really do anything other than work, so they end up just being basically pets/servants who bring in extra cash.
Happy Simming!

Margaret Dreamer is a former "teacher" at one of my pre-Uni colleges. She was married for a while, but never had any children. She's in her sixties now and lives alone. She makes a living off her gardening and dates from time to time.
Isabella Landgraab is the vampire daughter of Malcolm and Lucy Landgraab. We met her brother Stephen, who is also a vampire, earlier and she also has a sister Meredith. Isabella lives alone in the house she grew up in. She's finished several LTWs at this point; right now she's working in the Architecture career and, though skills are not an issue since she's maxed out, friends are holding her up on getting promoted. I took her out to a community lot this round so she'd hopefully meet and befriend some people, but she didn't talk to a single sim the entire time she was there. She may be working on this LTW for a while.
Claire Deppiesse is a former Diva with three children. Her adult vampire daughter Evelyn lives with her along with her daughter Julie, who is a child. Claire also has twin sons, Leo and Max, who live at boarding school. Claire is in her sixties and approaching retirement soon, which will mean a significant drop in income for the family since Evelyn hasn't yet found a job in her field. Evelyn and Claire don't really get along, so I can imagine Claire is irritated by her daughter's lack of gainful employment. Not to mention that Evelyn is not very good at being a vampire yet (she was turned since the last time I played her - thanks Vamps Gone Wild) and almost killed herself several times this round by getting out of her coffin constantly. If she doesn't get it together, Claire may be left to raise her granddaughter alone.

Pleasantview 8/4/20
Today we'll visit Tammy Ottomas and Griff Schehl. Tammy is the adopted daughter of Sharla Ottomas; she has five siblings. Griff is a former townie. Together they are raising their two boys, Parker and Tad (technically Tad is only Griff's son, as he is an abduction baby), and are expecting a third (also an alien). Tammy has reached the top of the Dance career and is now just using up her vacation time and preparing to retire. Griff is quite a bit younger than Tammy and is working in the Medical field. This round Parker became a teen, while Tad will remain a child a while longer, and the baby isn't due for a couple rounds. I'm kind of hoping for another boy because this family just feels like a boy family to me, but now that I've said that my game is bound to give them a girl (or twin girls!) because that's what it likes to do to me.
Marylena Hamilton is, of course, a former townie who was first "married" to Gabe Landry (he had that glitch that kept him married to dead Dina) and had three children with him: Marcus, Adam, and Gabriella. After they split, Marylena married Goopy GilsCarbo and had three more children: Brandon and twins Garrett and Aaron. Then she also split from Goopy. She had a boyfriend for a while, but he moved out a couple rounds ago. Currently her sons Adam and Garrett are still living at home, while Marcus and Brandon are adults living on their own, Gabriella is at Uni, and Aaron is at Briarwood Prep. Adam is currently working in the Entertainment career to support the family, as Marylena has always been supported by her significant others and is too old to work a decent job at this point anyway. She does bring in a little extra cash from fixing up junk cars and selling them, but it takes a while to finish one and she's not as young as she used to be. Note: in case you're interested, the Hamilton kids have three additional siblings on their father's side and the GilsCarbo kids have five more on Goopy's side.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/3/20
Grace Butler is the daughter of Lexie (daughter of John and Jennifer Burb) and Hayden Butler (former townie). She is an only child and a single mother to four adopted children: Corbin, Blake, Rebecca, and Charity. She inherited her house (the original Pleasant house) from her mother and is working in the Gamer career, while trying to achieve her LTW of 20 Simultaneous Lovers. Nothing particularly eventful happened this round (unless you count the dog dying), but I started thinking about just how many adopted kids I have in this 'hood and wondering if I should make some modifications to my rules regarding this. I haven't settled on any definitive changes yet, but I'm tossing ideas around in my head that may be implemented when I start a new round. In any event, I have plenty of time because there are A LOT more households yet to play.
Craig Larson is the son of Matthew Larson (son of Marisa and Jason Larson) and Cynthia (Kim) Larson (Cynthia remarried after splitting up with Robert). Sadly he never met his father because he was killed by a ghost dog before Craig was born. He does have one brother - Justin Kim. Craig recently got married to (former townie) Alicia and they are expecting their first child. Alicia aspires to work in the Science career, but has to finish her online education first. For now she's working as an employee at Alon Kim's pet store. Alon, coincidentally, is Craig's nephew. Craig is looking for a job in Military, but hasn't yet found it. The couple live in the house Craig grew up in, which he inherited from his mother after she died. It's not huge, but big enough for their little family.
AJ Broke is the son of Beau and Jade Broke. He has six siblings, five children, and four grandchildren. His youngest brother Lucas was very young when Beau and Lucas' mother Calista passed away, and so AJ took over raising him. They've never been particularly close though. In fact, Beau left the house to Lucas, not AJ, so when Lucas returns home from college I'm sure he's going to want his big brother to take a hike. For now though, AJ is living it up for as long as possible. He runs a café in town and dates around quite a bit, despite being 70 as of this round. During the time he's lived here, AJ has had several of his children living with him off and on. Right now his daughter Gloria and her boyfriend Xander Goss are living here. Gloria works in Entertainment and Xander in Journalism. Xander, by the way, is the alien son of Jay Goss. He has two (official) siblings. I assume they'll also be leaving when Lucas returns.
That's it for now. Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/2/20
Dylan Broke is the oldest child of Dustin and Angela. He is in his 70s and has four living siblings and four living children (it was his son Alon who died at the prison this round). He lives with his adult son Carter in the family home he grew up in. His twin sons (Leo and Max) are at Briarwood and his toddler daughter lives with her mother (who Dylan recently split from). Carter has three kids of his own (twin girls and a son - all children), who live with their mother Meredith Landgraab. Carter is at the top of the Law Enforcement career and will take his remaining vacation before switching to a job in his new LTW of Dance.
The Goths are different from other families. They don't follow the usual rules; they keep to themselves and rarely form bonds outside of the family. They only marry service sims or each other. No one works; they don't need to, since they are the richest family in the 'hood and their investments bring in more than enough income. Here's a quick recap of the family's history. Mortimer married Dina Caliente and they adopted a daughter named Elizabeth. Elizabeth married Stephan Gothier and had two sons, Gabriel and Nathaniel. Cassandra never married, but had a son, Victor, with the Grand Vampire. Alexander never married, but had an alien son, Xavier. (Alexander also has an illegitimate son, Quentin, with Chelsea Dreamer who we met earlier. Alexander never met him.) Cassandra's son Victor married Lauren and they had one daughter, Sarah, who we met at Uni. Alexander's son Xavier married Ericka and they had one daughter, Rebekah, who is a teen. Out of all these sims, the only ones still living are: Stephan, Xavier, Lauren, Ericka, Nathaniel, Sarah, and Rebekah. Most of the others died of old age, but a few (like Gabriel) were scared to death by the ghosts. I have plans to marry Nathaniel to Sarah and make him take her name, else we'll lose the Goth name, and Rebekah will likely marry the butler eventually, not sure who will take whose name there.
Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 8/1/20
Amelia Pearson is the daughter of Priya (Ramaswami) Landchild and her second husband Houston Landchild. Amelia has one living sibling and four living children (she had three sets of twins, but two of her six children have pre-deceased her). She also has eight grandchildren. Her husband Justin passed away a while ago, but her son Luke lives with her, along with three of her grandchildren. Up until this round, Luke's current girlfriend (the mother of the three kids) and her daughter from a previous relationship were also living here, however Luke and Brooke broke up at the end of the round and she moved with her daughter back to her mother's house (Jessie Larson is her mom). The three kids they share will remain here with Luke. Luke has three other children with Delia Ottomas (daughter of Nathan and Christine Dreamer), who he was involved with before Brooke (but also while he was with Brooke); they live with their mother. It's possible that Luke and Delia will finally make things official now that neither is attached, but Delia is pretty independent so we'll see.
