Pleasantview 1/31/21

Solveig Platz (see PV 11/27/20) took vacation time and worked on skilling for her new LTW, while Ratna and Todd worked.  Todd came home with a promotion and celebrated with some friends before locking down that logic point he needed.

Lakshmi Broke (see PV 11/27/20) got that outing done this round, while the kids were all at school.  Calvin Latte was one of the sims invited over for the outing and I think Lakshmi has her sights set on him.  They have two bolts and she spent most of her time hanging out with him.  He is A LOT younger than her, but that's the way she likes them, lol.  The kids didn't have much going on, but I did decide that Ricky will be going into the Slacker career, so that he can have more time for romance.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/30/21

Tosha Futa (see PV 11/27/20) got a promotion at work and then had a date with on again/off again boyfriend Victor Bruenig (a townie vampire).  I thought she might be ready to make some sort of commitment, but no dice.  I guess she's still hung up on River Todd.  Blake skipped school again, bringing his average down to D+.  He called up Clarissa Fancey for a date, but she wasn't interested, so they just chatted awkwardly for a while.

The Andersens (see PV 11/27/20) welcomed a new daughter into their family.  Her name is Jill and she's a child.  Mallory had to work, but Holly spent the day getting Jill settled and taking care of Hope.  Mallory came home with a promotion, went out with some friends, and finished her masters.  It was quite a productive day for her.  Naomi ran her business, where she met a few new people, but nothing major happened with her.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/29/21

The Wongs (see PV 11/26/20) had an uneventful round.  Shawn had the day off and Lisa took her final vacation day before switching to her new career of Architecture, which was the very first job to appear on the computer, so that was lucky.  Apart from that, it was mostly Lisa wandering around all day, while Shawn slept and vice versa.

River Todd (see PV 11/26/20) took his final vacation day this round, however he was unable to find a job in Criminal, so he'll keep working as an Athlete until that comes up.  Meadow had her first pop after work, so she'll have a couple days off during which she'll (hopefully) earn that logic point she needs.  Stone grew into a teen and rolled the LTW of "20 Simultaneous Lovers".  He matched with a few different career paths, but I ultimately chose Natural Science because it makes sense with his mother being a Scientist.

Sasha Dreamer (see PV 11/26/20) mourned the loss of her twin sister Chelsea, but she did not join her.  Looks like Sasha will be one of those rare sims to reach 80.  Quentin had the day off, which he spent hanging out with friends and skilling.  Orlando had a tough day at work and nearly died getting the mail upon his return home, but I pulled his bacon out of the fire and he recovered.  Later on he did some more work on his GED.  Donna also had the day off and, shortly before dawn, she gave birth to another baby girl named Diana.  I'm so happy that Sasha lived long enough to meet her second grandchild.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/28/21

Zack Tellerman's household (see PV 11/25/20) was chaotic as expected.  Zack was out of vacation time, so he worked one last shift.  He'll have next round off and then he'll be retiring.  Tamara also had work, but she still needs several skills before she can get a promotion.  She did bring a friend home from work, and I tried to have her romance him while Zack was sleeping, but she didn't manage to seal the deal before he woke up and then her "friend" left.  Jenna nearly killed herself by getting up during the day and hiking down several flights of stairs to eat some old cereal, when there's a perfectly good kitchen in her apartment.  I managed to save her, but had to spend a good bit of time in the evening getting her needs back up, so she didn't have time to go on the outing she was scheduled for.  I'll try to work it in next round.  All the kids except Teddy went to school (he dropped to a B-) and did their homework.  Parker went to his job.  They didn't have anything really going on.

Over at the commune (see PV 11/26/20), we did indeed have two deaths: Chelsea Dreamer and Julien Cooke.  Chelsea was 79 and Julien 69.  I decided to leave tombstones where they lie in the commune (provided they don't block anything) and it turned out that both Chelsea and Julien were standing right behind the bath house when they died.  Chelsea's tombstone, however, appeared inside the bath house and somehow glitched things up so that the game thinks there's something in the square just inside the room, making it impossible for anyone to get in.  I had to rebuild somewhat and use move_objects to fix the problem.  Thanks Chelsea.

Pleasantview 1/26/21

Noelle Dennis (see PV 11/24/20) gave birth to a baby boy named Lincoln this round.  Later she went to work and earned a promotion.  It was a good day for her.  Wyatt had the day off, which he spent mostly on the exercise bike because he wanted to max body.

Bethany Alpha (see PV 11/25/20) joined Drake in retirement this round, though it doesn't look like she has much time left to enjoy it.  Maybe a day or two...Drake will definitely outlive her despite being 10 days older.  Rhonda had some friends over after work and then did some stargazing for logic.  At this point, Rhonda's not that far away from elderhood herself.

I had Randy Lothario (see PV 11/25/20) run the boutique this round because, even though he makes more money by checking in, he doesn't earn any stars which is his ultimate goal - to get the business to level 10.  He let his manager have the day off, however, so that he could maximize his profits.  Later on he went out with some friends and had a blast.  Heath and Alvin didn't really have anything going on.  Heath slept all day, then taught Rita to roll over.  Alvin went to school and did some homework.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/25/21

Tessa Ramirez (see PV 11/24/20) had an uneventful day at the furniture store, but things really picked up when she got home.  She had a date with Joel Hanby that ended with a lullaby.  Tessa is a Romance sim and, not only does she have no desire to move in with Joel or make their relationship more permanent, she definitely does not want to raise a child either.  Consequently, she'll be giving the baby up to the orphanage.  Tessa's mom, Lisa, has reached retirement age, but since she works at a sim-owned business, she only has the option to quit.  I'm going to take some time to decide on what she should do, since she doesn't work for the next two days anyway.  Usually I have elders retire at age 65, after which they can take an elder job until age 75, unless there are extenuating circumstances which prompt them to keep working past that age.  However, since Lisa won't be able to collect a pension from this job, I feel like maybe I should let her keep it a while longer?  We'll see.

Brad Dreamer (see PV 11/24/20) got yet another promotion this round.  He's really moving up quickly.  Marvin was not as lucky because he's still short a friend.  In the evening, the twins grew into children, which meant it was time for the Giekes to move to a bigger place.  They ended up moving just a few doors down, into Tamara Fuchs' old place.  It's not the most attractive house, but it has three bedrooms and a large living area, so it'll do for now.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/24/21

The Brutys (see PV 11/22/20) were in for another chaotic round.  Both the twins decided to stay home from school this round.  Nicole could afford the grade hit, but Jonah is down to a D now.  Paige and Lee both came home with promotions and they decided to adopt another baby.  Shay and Bryn both grew up this round, though it took three cakes to get Bryn aged up.  Shay rolled the LTW to top Dance.  Jonah and Nicole also both had dates this round.  They both went really well, resulting in both getting their first kiss and ending their dates in crush.

Toby Bruenig (see PV 11/23/20) did not get promoted, but after a long nap he had a great outing with some friends, which boosted his spirits enough to finish part one of his masters degree.  He had just enough time for a quick breakfast and a shower before his carpool arrived at 3 am.  I think he might just get that promotion this time.  We'll find out next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/23/21

Russ Bear (see PV 11/21/20) spent the day doing household chores and gardening.  In the evening it was time for Robin's child birthday.  A quick redo of her room and a call to the nanny and Russ was off on a date with Chloe Cox, which ended with them waking up together the next morning.  Russ wants to marry her, but he apparently doesn't know (or doesn't care) she's already married.  Doesn't look like there's much future there.

Checking in with the Giekes (see PV 11/22/20), both Eugene and Agnes got promoted again, as did two of the three dogs.  Everyone got all the skills needed for their next promotion as well.  Myrtle had an outing with some friends and turned one of them (Chase Picaso) into a conquest.  Edgar got potty trained and Audrey learned to walk.  Next round Edgar will grow up and I'll need to do some remodeling upstairs so he'll have a place to sleep.  It should be interesting watching Edgar and Audrey grow up in this plant dominated household, where the adults rarely think about things like food or sleep.

Happy Simming!

Friday, January 22, 2021

Pleasantview 1/22/21

Lauren Todd (see PV 11/21/20) got promoted to the top of the Slacker career this round.  Since her LTW is to have six grandchildren and she only has one child, who is currently an infant, she'll be staying in this career for the foreseeable future.  Hayden and Demi both took vacation time and, right before 6 pm, Demi gave birth to their son, Tristan.  This will make Lily and Tristan the same age I think.

Zoe Picaso (see PV 11/21/20) have a more productive round this time.  She got promoted at work, as did one of the dogs, her dog Dina was returned home, and she had a group of friends over after work to celebrate her promotion.

The Dreamers (see PV 11/21/20) are hanging in there.  Ethan got a promotion at work, but Caryl got demoted by a bad chance card.  Later, after Taylor grew up and rolled the LTW for Architecture, both Ethan and Caryl had dates with townies.  Ethan's went well, ending in crush; Caryl's was just okay.  Taylor got a job in Culinary for the time being while he works on his educational goals.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/21/21

Caryl Landgraab (see PV 11/20/20) ran her shop as usual and brought in a nice profit.  Scott got promoted at work and will now have several days off to work on skills for the next one.  Baby Dustin will grow up next round.

Chase and Alyssa Picaso (see PV 11/20/20) had an uneventful round.  They both had the day off, which they spent potty training Troy, bathing the dog, and doing household chores.

The Todd/Landchild/Butler household will be up next tomorrow.  Happy Simming!

Wednesday, January 20, 2021

Pleasantview 1/20/21

Kenny Ottomas (see PV 11/20/20) slept the day away as usual, while Ella painted a masterpiece, harvested the fruit tree, spent some time with her kids, and cared for the dog.  If she can manage to gain two more friends somehow before she goes back to work, she might just get that final promotion before reaching retirement age.

Buffy Summers (see PV 11/20/20) and her son Bill had another quiet round, with the only notable event being that Bill grew into a teen.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/19/21

Orphanage Unit One (see PV 11/19/20) still had six kids at the beginning of the round.  It was Saturday, so no one had school.
Anthony Tellerman graduated with an A average.  He still had the want to attend Uni so, upon checking his eligibility and scholarships, he will be starting SSU next round.
Dale Futa graduated with a B average.  Though he met the requirements to attend Uni, he did not receive any scholarships and didn't have enough money saved from his job to pay the tuition, so he was unable to go.  He'll be moving into the homeless shelter, where he'll be played next round.
Since Maya Tellerman has a D-, she was instructed to complete her homework and will be compelled to attend school on Monday.  For today she earned $45 at work.
Mari Alpha found a job in Dance and earned $62 on her first day.
Olivia Landgraab had an uneventful Saturday.
Kyra Broke also had an uneventful Saturday.  She'll become a teen next round.
Caregiver Michelle has fallen in love with Derek.  Should their relationship continue, they will be eligible to move in together in the near future.

Orphanage Unit Two (see PV 11/19/20) has three kids.
Jeremey Landgraab attended his first day of school this round, raising his average to a B+.  He'll become a teen in four days.
Beck Tellerman will become a child next round.
Merlin's newest charge, Rachel Landgraab, will become a toddler next round.
Merlin continues to be focused on his work and is not interested in a relationship at this time.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/18/21

The Swains (see PV 11/18/20) had a fairly uneventful round.  Tina got promoted and then had her first pop, which means she'll have plenty of time to acquire the last two skill points she needs while on maternity leave.  Erik had the day off, which he spent hanging out with some friends and then trying to befriend a stray dog, which got him struck by lightning.  He survived though, no worries.

The Kims (see PV 11/18/20) both had the day off.  Amar invited some friends over for the day and the outing went exceptionally well.  He added a couple more friends to their household tally.

The Grahams (see PV 11/18/20) spent the day together catching up on household chores and taking care of Randall while Jessica was at school.  Claire also had the day off from work and took the opportunity to catch up with Bryce Futa, who she had her first date with in high school.  They rekindled their connection and things got pretty steamy by the end of the date.  We'll see where it goes.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/17/21

The Brutys (see PV 11/18/20) welcomed a new child into their family this round.  Her name is Jeannie, which seems to have become a popular name in the adoption pool lately.  In fact, I already have a Jeannie Bruty, which means now there are another pair of sims with the same name in Pleasantview.  Fun.  In other news, Gladys got promoted at work finally.  She's really not moving up the ladder very quickly.  Dale had the day off, which he spent at home playing poker with his dad.  Kirby grew into an elder this round, unfortunately with a red aspiration, so we'll see how long that gives him.

Happy Simming!

Saturday, January 16, 2021

Pleasantview 1/16/21

The Brutys (see PV 11/16/20) had a pretty calm Sunday.  Eve doesn't really know many kids, so she couldn't have a play date.  Thomas took the day off to stay home with the younger girls, while Noel and Ivy worked.  Ivy got promoted, but Noel lost a friend right before he arrived home, preventing him from doing the same.  Because of her promotion, Ivy went back to work in the evening and got yet another promotion.  She's really rocketing up the Slacker track.  Next round Camille will grow up.

I made it through another day with the Kims (see PV 11/17/20).  Justin's business is still running smoothly.  I decided to have Alon focus on the toy store for now and put the manager situation at the pet store on the back burner until Alicia does decide to quit.  For now he can just check in there and work on getting the toy store leveled up.  On his first day, he got the shop stocked and hired a toymaker.  Brittany took a vacation day, while Charlene worked and got promoted.  Marcel grew into a teen and rolled the LTW to top Entertainment.  So happy it wasn't about businesses, lol.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/15/21

Armando Ottomas (see PV 11/15/20) nearly killed himself this round.  While I was dealing with getting all the kids off to school and making sure Nadine didn't go to work (she's using up vacation days), I assumed Armando was safely sleeping in his coffin.  I was wrong.  Instead of sleeping safely in his coffin, he was up wandering around upstairs, doing who even knows what.  When I saw him coming down the stairs, I switched to him and found that all his needs were deeply orange or red and he was headed for the fridge because he was starving.  I managed to get him fed enough that he wouldn't die, despite his constant stopping to complain about being hungry or tired or stinky and then falling asleep in his food.  Although I saved his life, when it came time for work, his needs were still pretty low and ended up earning him a demotion.  At least the idiot is still alive...for now.  Next time I just might leave him to his stupidity.  While all this was going on, Nadine was doing her own thing and the kids all went off to school and brought home friends.  Anton has rolled the want to attend private school, but they still can't afford to send Joanne, much less Anton as well, so that might not probably happen.

Nathan Dreamer (see PV 11/16/20) still lives!  He's 82 now and has just the tiniest sliver left on his life bar, but he's still with us.  Alvin is still taking vacation in preparation for switching jobs.  Alexis opened the salon for a little while, but did not earn the gold hairstyling badge she's been wanting.  I spent some time going through Nathan's memories and what a life he's led!  When he does die, I'll have to devote an update to the life of Nathan Dreamer because this guy's really been through a lot.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/14/21

Aiden and Cara Broke (see PV 11/14/20) had an uneventful round.  Cara had the day off from work and didn't need any skills, so she just hung around the house all day.  Aiden will be turning 70 next round and still has a good bit left on his life bar, so it looks like he'll be around for a while longer.

Lucy Hanby (see PV 11/14/20) used up her last vacation day this round, meaning she could officially retire from her job.  Apart from that, her day was uneventful.

Gavin Jacquet (see PV 11/14/20) had a successful day of business at his market.  The fresh oranges are selling well, though nothing else has ripened yet.  His mother Lila did the same thing she does every night - work on a car.  Gavin invited some friends over, but the outing didn't go very well and he ended up falling out of crush with Jenna Tellerman, which is disappointing as he doesn't really have any other prospects and is not getting any younger.

Happy Simming!

Wednesday, January 13, 2021

Pleasantview 1/13/21

Heather and Evan Broke (see PV 11/13/20) got married this round.  Luckily for Heather she didn't even have to change her last name.  If you're wondering whether they're actually distantly related...they're not.  Evan's mother was once married to Heather's uncle, thus obtaining the Broke name, but Evan was born after their divorce - his father is Jonathan Greaves.  Heather also got a promotion this round, so she'll be skilling hard for the next day or so.  Charlotte finished her degree, but did not find a job in Medicine.  She'll keep looking and in the meantime, she'll work on her masters degree for Medicine.  Next round will be Warner's teen birthday as well as the birth of his new sibling.

The Landgraabs (see PV 11/13/20) had another busy round.  Tess had her hands full with inviting all the kids round for college money, getting Shane moved back home and settled, taking care of the youngest twins, and trying to spend time with friends.  Stephen was, of course, asleep for all of that, but he woke up in time to see Wes and the twins age up.  They may regret helping Shane out eventually, as it seems he's had a bad influence on Wesley, who rolled the LTW to be a Criminal just like his big brother.  At least one good thing will come of Shane moving home - he brought in enough friends that Tess can finally get a promotion at work.  She's been stuck at "high school teacher" for so very long.  So, pros and cons I guess?

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/12/21

At the Pleasantview Prison (see PV 11/12/20) there are still just two inmates: Mason Tellerman and Rosemary Bruty.  We may have some new residents soon, however, since there are quite a few Criminals in Pleasantview right now.  Mason and Rosemary completed their 7th and 4th days of their sentences, respectively.  Because it was technically Rosemary's day off, she still hasn't been fired from her job yet, but it won't be too many more days before that happens.

Sorry for the short update, but I spent a lot of time getting all those graduates from the boarding school moved into their dorms at Uni.  Happy Simming!

Monday, January 11, 2021

Pleasantview 1/11/21

Today we're visiting Briarwood Prep, where every unit is filled to capacity.

First up is girls' dorm A (see PV 11/10/20), where we have the following students: Clarissa and Cybil Fancey, Noelle Tellerman, Amy Broke, Daphne Dreamer, and (new student) Kylie Greaves.  Clarissa decided to skip her last day of class, which brought her grade down to a B+.  Consequently, she was not able to get into Academie Le Tour, like her sister Cybil did, and had to settle for La Fiesta Tech.  Honestly, I was surprised she decided to go to college at all, since she's shown very little interest in it before.  In any event, this will be the first time the twins have ever lived apart, so we'll get the chance to see how they do on their own.  As for the other girls, they had a fairly uneventful day.  Amy Broke got a promotion, everyone got their required skills, Noelle had to run the headmaster visit for Kylie because Servo was broken after running amok (and shocking many students, including Clarissa), and everyone is still sick.  Next round Noelle is set to graduate.

In boys' dorm A (see PV 11/11/20), we have the following students: Jay Broke, Aaron GilsCarbo, Leo and Max Deppiesse, Julian Delarosa, and (new student) Ray Grundstrom.  Jay again skipped class this round, resulting in him tanking his average right before graduation.  He still graduated with a C+, but his only option for college became SSU, the least prestigious of all the colleges.  Servo ran a headmaster visit to get Ray officially into private school and some of the boys worked (Aaron got promoted).  Next round we'll see Aaron and the twins graduate.

Boys' dorm B (see PV 11/11/20) still has the same six students: Simon and Teddy Korman, Jake Alpha, Glen Gray, Richard Ottomas, and Steven Ottomas.  Simon and Jake skipped class this round and got an early start on their skilling.  This meant Simon's grade dropped to a B+ right before graduation (what's with all the senioritis this round?), meaning he'll be attending LFT, as it's the best school he can get into.  The other boys were pretty lackadaisical about homework, but put an effort into their jobs; Teddy got promoted to the top of his job and Glen got a $500 bonus from a chance card.  Next round Jake will graduate and Steven will grow into a teen at long last.

Girls' dorm B (see PV 11/12/20) has the following students: Caryl Broke, Kimberli Cox, Tina Traveller, Madison Kim, (new student) Violet Grundstrom, and Katrina Swain.  This round Caryl, Kim, and Tina all graduated.  Caryl and Kimberli both finished with A+ averages and left to attend ALT.  Tina opted out of college and will return to her family home in Pleasant Valley later this round.  All the teens worked, padding their bank accounts just a little bit, but only Violet was promoted.  No one will be scheduled to graduate next round, so unless some new students enter, it should be pretty calm here.

That's it for Briarwood.  Tomorrow will be the prison.  Happy Simming!

Sunday, January 10, 2021

Pleasantview 1/10/21

At the Casteroff Dorm (see PV 11/10/20) we have Darius Goss and Dawn Grundstrom.  They spent another uneventful round studying and maintaining their 4.0s.  Dawn made friends with a dormie and Darius became enemies with one.  Not only have they not befriended each other, they actually have a slightly negative relationship score, so I don't think they'll be looking forward to seeing each other at the reunion.  Next round Darius begins his final senior semester and Dawn will be a first term senior.

Finally, we have Mille House (see PV 11/10/20) where there are still two students: Savannah Broke and Blake Tellerman.  Both continue to be good students, maintaining their perfect GPAs.  They both had dates this round as well.
Savannah is dating David Ottomas, but he's obviously not as serious as she is given he had the want to "woohoo 10 sims" as well as "fall in love" with some other girl the whole time they were on their date.
Blake had a first date with a dormie named Amanda and it went shockingly well for two Knowledge sims.  They are now in love and I really like her for him.  I hope she's not dating five other guys or something.

That's it for Uni!  Briarwood will be up tomorrow.  Until then, Happy Simming!

Saturday, January 9, 2021

Pleasantview 1/9/21

Today we'll visit Romara Dorm (see PV 11/9/20) where there are two students: Jason Broke and Lauren Greaves.  Nothing particularly eventful happened.  They both maintained their 4.0 GPAs; Lauren finished her sophomore year and Jason finished his freshman year.  I noticed that they each have a dormie nemesis, who they fight with constantly, so they definitely have a lot in common.

At Lam Plaza (see PV 11/9/20) there is just one student left: Gabriella Hamilton.  Gabi was torn between Lucas and Jason this round.  During his round, Jason made good on his conquest, enticing Gabi into a closet woohoo.  Now she wants to get engaged to both of them, though she had a date with Lucas which caused the engagement want for Jason to roll away temporarily.  I'm sure it'll be back though.  Hopefully she has the good sense to choose Lucas because Jason is just bad news.  In other news, Gabi maintained her 4.0 GPA and finished her sophomore year.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/8/21

First up in ALT is the Tri-Annya Sorority (see PV 11/7/20) where we have two members: Sydney Greaves and Alyssa Larson.
Sydney worked as a musician at the music hall on campus to earn money towards an apartment.  She also kept Vicki (the new pledge) working hard in the house to make sure she was able to move in as placeholder by the end of the round.
Alyssa inherited money from her mother Jessie's recent death, which was especially helpful since she didn't do well playing with the band at the lounge.  She was, however, pretty successful at using the skill sucker to absorb skills from the cow mascot, the llama mascot, and a professor before the term ended.
Since Sydney and Alyssa are best friends, they decided to get an apartment together in the Village Condos downtown.  They'll be played there next round.

At NFC (see PV 11/8/20), in addition to Jess Creelman and Andrew Dreamer, we have a new member: Jason Fancey.
All three guys scored A+ this term, which is great considering how much nonsense goes on here.  Jess and Jason are both trying to obtain 20 Lovers, so they've always got a girl over.  Andrew will begin his senior year next round, Jess will be a junior, and Jason will finish his sophomore year.

Happy Simming!

Thursday, January 7, 2021

Pleasantview 1/7/21

At Oasis Dorm (see PV 11/6/20) we have one student: Claire Carr.  This round Claire decided she wants to give Greek life a try and joined Tri-Fruhm.  She spent her last term in the dorm romancing her girlfriend Mackenzie (to soften the blow of moving out?) and doing the bare minimum academically.  She earned a C+ and a 2.8 GPA.

Desert Dorm (see PV 11/6/20) has three students: the Tinker twins and Ericka Tellerman.
Cord finished the semester with an A and a 3.3 GPA.  He'll begin his final semester of senior year next round.  After that he'll spend the ninth semester working on his masters for Oceanography.
Octavius earned a B+ and a 3.4 GPA.  He's also going into his final semester, though he won't need a masters for a career in Show Business, so he'll spend his final term working to earn money for an apartment.
Ericka finished her freshman year, maintaining her 4.0 GPA.  She also had a first date with one of her professors.  It went well, but I always find it to be kind of desperate when sims have no better date prospects than a professor.  I mean, those professors will go out with anyone (and they do, lol).

That's it for LFT.  Tomorrow we'll move to ALT.  Happy Simming!

Wednesday, January 6, 2021

Pleasantview 1/6/21

At Oresha-Hoh-Var (see PV 11/5/20) there are three members: Tyler Tellerman, Brian Ryan, and Ray Picaso, who joined since last round.
Tyler earned an A+ this term and subsequently graduated with a 3.6 GPA.  He'll spend one more term here in the frat house, working to earn some money for an apartment.
Brian completed his sophomore year with a 3.0 GPA, after scoring a B+ for this term.
Ray did not do quite as well as his frat brothers, only earning a C, though his GPA is still a 3.0.  He'll be finishing his sophomore year next round.

At Canyon Commons (see PV 11/6/20) we only have one student: Sydney Jacquet.
Sydney earned a B+ this term, dropping her GPA to 3.7.  Apart from academics, she decided to join a Greek house and pledged Tri-Fruhm.  She was easily accepted and, since she's already a sophomore, will be moving immediately into the sorority house where she'll be played next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/5/21

Pinenut Plaza (see PV 11/4/20) is still home to just one student: Blaze Broke.  Blaze finished his junior year this round with a B-.  He's taken a liking to one of the dormie girls, Jan, and they've become best friends.  No sign of romance yet, but it seems to be headed that way.

Moving on to LFT, we'll visit Tri-Fruhm (see PV 11/5/20), where we have two members: Claire Dreamer and Katy LeTourneau.
Claire finished her sophomore year, but she only earned a C- this term, bringing her GPA to 3.0.  She was in a terrible mood the entire round because she's sick.  She did have a date at one point which raised her spirits enough to attend class, but the rest of the time she was miserable and unhappy.
Katy did not fare much better.  She was also sick and disgruntled.  She ended up earning a C+, which brought her 4.0 down to a 3.2.  Katy will begin her sophomore year next round.  Maybe things will start looking up for her.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/4/21 Round 4

Round 4 begins with SSU.

Isabelle Greaves and David Ottomas (see PV 11/3/20) more or less ended their relationship this round.  On the first day of the round, a cow mascot showed up and flirted with Isabelle, making David furious (ironically).  Since she needed to work to earn money for a place to live, I had her stay anyway and do personal training at the campus gym.  David continued to rack up conquests, adding two more to his woohoo tally.  By the end of the round, though Isabelle still loves him, David had lost all interest in her.  Isabelle moved out (I'm thinking she'll go to Las Casas) and David moved on.  He finished his junior year, with a lackluster GPA, and will begin senior year next round.

At Urele-Oresha-Cham we still have two students: Ross Grundstrom and Jordan Hanby.
Ross and his girlfriend Laci took their relationship to the next level on their very steamy date.  They now both have the want to get engaged.  Academically, he skated by with a C+.  Next round he'll begin his senior year.
Jordan also had a date, but his didn't go as well.  The fact that his date had the want to get engaged to someone else may be a telling factor in the future of their relationship.  In any event, he finished his sophomore year with a B, which is not bad, and will start his junior year next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/3/21 Alpha Legacy & Latte Legacy

The Alphas (see PV 11/1/20) opened the business this round.  Mostly Betty runs the shop in between crafting items, but she was being particularly difficult this time.  She did not want to stay on the register (or anything else for that matter) and I had to constantly monitor her and keep cancelling "do chores" actions out of her queue.  It didn't help that the butler was being completely useless at taking care of Dante, so Betty kept wanting to do that as well.  Luckily it was Dante's birthday, so now he's a child who can (and will have to) take care of himself.  Despite all the chaos of running the business, everyone came through it okay, though I'm starting to wonder if having the butler is really helping them or not.  Next round, I plan to expand the business, converting the workroom into a salon/food section, and building a new workroom at the back.  I'll also need to create a pond at some point so the Alphas can sell fish.  I think I may need to start having heirs/spouses take on two crafts each though because Betty can't do everything.  She already does painting, toys, and sewing, plus she takes care of running the business.  Even for a Servo, that's a lot.

The Lattes (see PV 11/2/20) had a little more going on this round.  I added a computer area upstairs so that if anyone gets the benefit point for "financial consulting" there will be a way to add a little spare cash to the family funds.  Joy was pretty tired this round, so she didn't work a very long shift at the cafĂ©, and consequently didn't bring in much money.  However, in the early morning hours, she gave birth to the first baby of Gen 3 - a girl named Jocelyn.  Joy and Peter got right to work on baby #2, which will be due in a few days.

Tomorrow we begin Round 4.  Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 1/2/21

Sage Dreamer (see PV 11/1/20) had the day off and spent it relaxing and hanging out with her family.

Charles Grundstrom and Chloe Despret (see PV 11/1/20) both worked this round, so they brought in a nanny for baby Robert.  Nanny Karen actually didn't do too badly.  Charles ended up coming home early due to a chance card promotion, but he let the nanny stay on for her full shift so he could bone up on mechanical skills.  Later in the evening, they threw a birthday party for Robert and invited Charles' parents and his brother Shane.

Alan Korman (see PV 11/1/20) had the day off from work.  He had a bit of a rough morning because he'd forgotten to pay the bills and had to go out into the daylight to do it before the Repo Man showed up.  Then he invited his kids over to hand out college money, which he also had to do during daytime hours because his daughter is too young to come over after dark.  Finally he made it to bed and slept until dark, at which point he threw a party in the hopes of making some friends for his job.  He did make one, just barely, but he needed two.  Guess he'll have to try, try again.

Happy Simming!

Happy New Year!

Bryce Futa (see PV 10/30/20) got the body point he needed before work and then came home with a promotion.  He used his bonus to pay for his GED class and after hanging out with his friend for a while, spent most of the night working on it.

Over at the homeless shelter (see PV 10/31/20):

Melissa Fancey and her kids have nearly saved enough money to move out, though Melissa's work performance is not looking so great.  Hopefully she can hand onto her job for another round.

Ricky Cormier got a promotion at his Adventure job, but did not find Culinary.

Monica Bratford (like everyone else in town) was sick with a mysterious disease and kept climbing out of her coffin all day, which did not help her mood or her work performance.

Alvin Broke also got promoted.  He also doesn't particularly get along with Shane.  They spent a good bit of time arguing.

Shane Grundstrom is new here.  I wanted him to live with his parents, but they don't currently have the room, so he'll be here until they do or until he goes to jail.  No promotion for him this round either.

Jessie Pilferson still hasn't found her desired job in Music, but she did get a substantial bonus with her promotion, which allowed her to move to her own place at the end of the round.  She'll be living in the Village Condos next round.

Max Flexor did not get promoted, but he did have enough money to move out as well.  He'll be moving into one of the Mendoza rental houses.

Andrzej Greaves obtained his final promotion in his elder job.  Even so, he still has less than $1000, so he won't be ready to move out soon...if ever.

Moon Broke did not find Dance, but she did get promoted in Gamer.  She's still pretty broke though and now she needs a logic point which she can only get from the crossword in the paper, so I think she'll be here a while longer.

And that concludes the homeless shelter.  Happy Simming!
