Today we're visiting Heather Broke (see PV 7/10/20) and her family. Heather had the day off today and took the opportunity to have an outing with some friends. Back at home, she invited her younger children over to give them their college fund money and prepared a nice rainbow trout for dinner. Hobart and Charlotte had a date that ended in a lullaby. Afterwards, Charlotte was in such a good mood, she put in several hours work on her online degree. She's nearly finished with the regular degree, which will allow her to take a job in the Medical field while continuing to work on her masters. Warner really wanted a kitten, so Hobart adopted one for him, and Warner named him Kingston (because Sean Kingston was playing on Music Choice at the time, that's why).
It was a chaotic day at the Landgraab/Grundstrom house (see PV 7/10/20) as usual. It was Sunday, so Tess didn't have to work. She invited the older twins over to give them their college fund payments and Ross brought a friend along. Also, because it was Sunday, Wesley had a play date, which would normally consist of inviting over three friends, but unfortunately Wesley only has one. His friend brought a friend, however (teen Kimberli Cox, who Ray really hit it off with), and he greeted a boy who walked by with his cat. So in addition to the seven sims and three cats who live here, there were seven (if you count the maid) extra sims and one extra cat roaming around the house all day, though to be fair Stephen was asleep in his coffin all day so he wasn't roaming at all. In the evening when all the guests had left, Tess spent some time teaching the toddlers to walk, while Stephen finished a novel. After seeing how close this family is with all their children and siblings, and even with nieces/nephews, I decided that when Shane gets out of prison next round, I'll be moving him back here. I was going to send him to the homeless shelter, since he lost his rental when he went to jail, but I can't see Stephen and Tess letting that happen to their son, no matter what mistakes he's made. I feel they'd want to keep supporting him and trying to help him. Although that extra cat may be a problem household members-wise, so I may need a temporary solution for him until the cat dies (it's pretty old anyway). To be continued.
Happy Simming!
