RKC 6/29/20

The courtesans struck out this round.  Though they did meet a few men and Poppy even scored a date with former King James, he left in the middle and there was no date reward.  They're still ok on cash so it's not too terrible.  Daisy became an elder, which means she will join Lily in only greeting clients who happen to walk (which none did this round).  Tulip will not become an adult until the very end of next round, which leaves Poppy as the primary bread winner for the time being.

Over at the orphanage, Elias became a child.  Naomi will be an elder next round, so I'm on the lookout for a replacement director in the near future.  This will most likely be a Merchant girl.  Luckily Matthew Moore has three daughters, so I shouldn't have a problem.

And that is it for the Royal Kingdom.  I think I've decided to move to my original neighborhood of Pleasantview next.  This was my very first 'hood that I've been playing now since 2007.  It is massive: 80+ households in base Pleasantview, plus Downtown, a suburb I named Pleasant Valley, and all three Universities.  I do have a Bluewater there, but it's reserved for a couple of legacies I play.  I haven't checked my notes yet, but I think the population is upwards of 500 sims.  So even though I only play one day (or one semester) at a time for each household, it still takes a very long time to play through a single round.  Also, there are many rules that I've set for Pleasantview that I need to review before jumping back in, which is what I'm going to do right now.  I have some extra play time today so I may get to dive into the first household.  If so, I'll make another post to cover that.  Otherwise it'll be tomorrow most likely.

Until then, Happy Simming!
