RKC 4/13/20

The Peterson family is composed of David and Jozette, as well as their three children Philip, Mary, and Luke (who was born this round).  They are finally expecting their fourth, though they had a really tough time getting pregnant.  Financially they're just getting by, as David has a job in which he's not likely to be promoted without earning some skills, which he's not allowed to do because he's a Peasant.   The exception is mechanical that he gains from fixing things around the house.  Unfortunately he doesn't need mechanical skill; he needs charisma and logic I think.  In time, Philip will be old enough for a teen job.  I think they'll be ok until then.

Next up is the Pratt family: Frederick, Mary Ann, Emelina, Vernon, Agnes, and Walter (the new addition for this round).  They are also Peasants.  You've probably noticed by now that last names correspond to social class ("P" last names are Peasants, "M" names are Merchants, etc.)  Since women take their husbands' last names and their class, this should work well to remind me who is in which class once the 'hood gets large.  As far as the Pratts go, this round wasn't too eventful, apart from the birth of their fourth child which didn't happen until the very end.  Financially they're doing fine and their oldest being a girl has been really helpful to Mary Ann.  Next round they'll be going for baby #5.

Finally, we have the second Potter family which is Henry Potter's younger brother Earl and his wife Jenna, who were expecting their first child at the beginning of the round.  You can imagine their surprise when they got not one, but TWO new babies, boy/girl twins Herman and Thelma.  They immediately got to work on baby #3 who will be born early next round.  Jenna was keeping up fairly well for a while, but eventually caring for two babies while also being pregnant began taking its toll on her.  The house is quickly becoming a disaster zone.  Luckily the twins became toddlers this round and will grow into children next round, so she'll have some help.  I really hope she doesn't have twins again though.  Where will they put them all?

That's all for today.  Happy Simming!
