Welcome to Fromrac! This is a custom 'hood that is inspired by fantasy novels. In this world there are nine separate races (or there will be nine, currently there are only seven, as two have yet to "evolve"): Humans, Elves, Ogres, Lau Kanaka, Sanguara, Lunari, Mortosa, Felan, and Outkasts. Each group has its own characteristics and customs. Some races are allied with each other, and some are enemies. However, all races practice separation in terms of marriage or interbreeding (with the exception of the Outkasts). They each have their own communities (three groups in the main 'hood, three in a subhood called Sanction, and three in another subhood called The Outlands). I began with five families each of Humans, Elves, and Ogres and have played about 25-ish in game days. The setting is vaguely medieval, though there are some technologies present to facilitate playing. I should warn you that some races kill their enemies (though resurrection is also possible) so if that sort of thing bothers you, you might want to skip reading about Fromrac. And I think that's about it. I'll post a summary of each race prior to playing them for the first time, followed by each family's individual update. So let's jump right in!
Boggs Hall Dorm: Alexander fears he'll never find that special someone, as none of the girls in his dorm will give him the time of day. He's tried joining in with their activities, but it's as if he's invisible to them. Maybe he should just try to get through his final semester and move on.
Lam Plaza Dorm: Things have been pretty quiet at Lam Plaza. Lucia and Denise have taken up playing chess; the only problem is that they both cheat! Shane made the Dean's List, but the ladies' grades were more mediocre.
Casteroff Dorm: As soon as Simeon Curious moved into the dorm, he knew that Greek life was the way to go for him. But why settle for joining a house, when you can found your own? He found a great house on Greek Row and applied for a charter at the end of the semester. He's now the proud founder of Oresha-Fruhm-Nagard!
And that's all for the Megahood! It feels like I've been playing this round forever. Next up, I'll be moving to a custom 'hood of mine called Fromrac. It's a fantasy sort of 'hood that uses all the creatures as different races with different customs and practices. I'll put up an intro post when I get started. Until then, Happy Simming!
Canyon Commons Dorm: Miranda Pachis is beginning her first year of college. It hasn't been super exciting so far, and she's worried about her little brother, but at least she gets to talk to him on the phone daily. She decided to declare economics as her major, so that she'll have something to fall back on if the entertainment industry doesn't work out for her.
Tri-Var Sorority: Jaya misses her sorority sisters and thought she might recruit one of the cheerleaders to join, but she wasn't interested. At least she still has Chester, though they don't get to see each other as much as they'd like to since Strangetown is pretty far away.
Pinenut Plaza Dorm: Montgomery finally settled on psychology for his major. He thinks it'll be a good fit for going into the education field. He also pledged Urele-Oresha-Cham and got in. He'll be moving into the frat house next term. Since he hasn't had any luck meeting any girls he's interested in, he agreed to go on a blind date. The girl was nice enough, but there wasn't any real spark, so he's not sure he'll see her again.

Ramirez/Hurt: Checo was promoted to manager and to celebrate he brought home a little dog. Joel has been wanting one for a while. He name is Piper and she's their new baby.
Wan: Patricia has been working long hours at the hospital. She's barely had any time to spend with Knut, but when they are together the chemistry between them is intense - they can't keep their hands off each other.
Karana: Utter exhaustion? Check. Nausea? Check. Craving grilled cheese for breakfast? Check. Yep, Vivian's definitely pregnant again. Why oh why does she keep getting herself into this? She may have to give in and move in with Buzz. If he's going to keep knocking her up, he should at least take some of the responsibility off her shoulders, right?
Cordial: Kim caught Buzz cheating on her with her sorority sister Natasha! She's so done with both of them. At least things are looking up for her on the job front; she found a job as a receptionist at a law firm. Sam doesn't understand why Timothy hasn't proposed yet, or at least asked her to move in with him. She knows it's pretty hectic at his place right now. His mom's boyfriend recently moved in and her friend, who's been staying with them, just gave birth. But isn't that all the more reason to move out of there and in with her? Maybe when she tells him her good news, it'll be just the push he needs.

Curious/Patel: Priya and Pascal invited their families over to celebrate the twins' birthday. Unfortunately, none of Pascal's family members could attend. Priya's parents and youngest brother were there though, so it wasn't a complete washout.
Loste/Zarubin: Things have been so busy recently that Daisy hasn't had time to work on her art, which means Keith is supporting the family solely on his income, and finances are getting tight, especially since the twins are teens now and want all the latest gadgets. Hopefully, once Cam is in school, Daisy will be able to get some work done.
Broke/Caer/Aspir: Skip and Olivia's twin boys (Dustin and Beau 😉) were born, with Victor and Susie's baby soon to follow. Three babies in the house at once will be quite the challenge, but they're as prepared as they're going to be.

Augustine/Gossamer: Oberon was not thrilled with the idea of his mother moving in with them, but she really had nowhere else to go, so he's trying to make the best of a bad situation. She has been really helpful with baby Ariel since she moved in and Elena is particularly grateful for it, since she learned she's pregnant again.
Grove/Summerdream: Knut and Fae continue in their pursuit to "service" as many sims as possible, though they've yet to enter each other's orbit. It's probably only a matter of time.
Peterson: Jeff really wants to get into financial consulting, but opportunities seem limited at the moment. In the meantime, he's started working at a gas station.
