Pleasantview 2/22/21

 Logan Ottomas (see PV 12/11/20) got a huge bonus from a chance card this round, which will really help the family's finances going forward.  It was great timing as well, since both Kaitlyn and Chip grew up this round and Russell and Trudi decided to have another baby.  I wanted to keep the nursery as is for the new baby, so I built a new bedroom for Chip that is the same size as Kait and Gigi's room.  He went with a space theme; it turned out quite nice I think.  The extra cash will really help with those online classes as well.  Russell finished his first section and started the second; he also got promoted and now needs some skills.  Trudi took the day off and worked on her classes; she'll get to work one day before going on maternity leave, so hopefully she earns her next promo next round.

Pleasantview 2/21/21

 Lois Tellerman (see PV 12/11/20) had to work this round, so she called in the nanny to watch the kids.  I considered having her take vacation, but I thought she might get promoted so I sent her in.  Unfortunately, she did not get the promotion, but since she already had to pay the nanny, she kept her a little later and went out with her friends.  Things got a little wild and she ended up trying for baby with Joshua Ruben.  I had the music a little too loud at the time and didn't hear whether or not there was a lullaby, so that'll be a surprise next round.  Also this round, Cheryl grew into a toddler, Lois finally got some groceries, everything in the house is broken so she needs a repairman, Bruce kept stopping by incessantly, and Lois is nearly flat broke.  She really needs that promotion next round, especially if she's pregnant.

Pleasantview 2/20/21

 Jonah Powers (see PV 12/10/20) had another day off, which he spent recovering from the party last round.  He was sick all day and didn't clean up any of the mess left by his friends, plus he broke his computer.  He's too broke to afford a repairman, so he'll either have to fix it himself or save up.  Not really one of Jonah's best days, lol.

Orlando Gothier (see PV 12/10/20) got a promotion this round, which allowed Marla to make a payment on her student loan, though she couldn't pay the full amount require, so the loan earned a substantial amount of interest.  Marla took a vacation day to stay home with the baby, who grew into a toddler this round.  Later in the evening, one of Orlando's friends called and "gave him a sample of something", which turned out to be a flat screen tv that they immediately sold for the cash.  The money will help them get through a weekend in which neither of them works, as well as being used for either a remodel or a move to a larger house in the near future.

Delia Ottomas (see PV 12/11/20) spent a lovely Sunday with her kids before going off to her security job shift and FINALLY getting promoted to level two of Law Enforcement.  This means working during school hours instead of all night, which gives her more time to bond with her kids and relieves Arthur of his perpetual babysitting responsibilities.  I'm not sure what job (if any) I'll be looking to put Arthur into, since his LTW is to marry off six kids.  His hobby is gaming, so maybe Gamer or Slacker, but I seem to have so many of those right now, so I may go with a non-traditional job or no job at all.

Pleasantview 2/19/21

 It was date night at the Gray house (see PV 12/9/20).  Michael had been dating Tina Traveller, but she grew up, so he had to dig deep into his panel to find Steffi Kim.  I didn't even think she'd accept, but she did and they had a really nice time at Red's Diner.  Jeannie went out with Aaron Broke to the rec center in town; the date went well and they fell in love.  Aiyana continues to see Toby Bruenig, but he's not interested in moving in (can't say I really blame him, given the number of children she has), so she settled for a sleepover.  Next round three of the four kids living at home still will be growing up.

As I suspected this round was the last for Goopy and Allyn (see PV 12/10/20) as a couple.  It just wasn't working out, and so Goopy will be moving in with his adult son Brandon.  Luckily for Allyn, the twins grew into teens this round and Galen will be a child next round, so that'll make things easier for her in terms of child care.  Speaking of the twins growing up, Cregan rolled Slacker for his LTW and Lawson got Business.  Despite everything else that was going on, Galen managed to get potty trained, Allyn finished her mechanical points (she still needs a cleaning point though), and she had a successful outing with friends.  It was a busy round for sure.

Pleasantview 2/18/21

 Starting off Pleasant Valley, with have the Traveller household (see PV 12/9/20).  Amar's dogs had their puppies finally, a female and two males.  He gave them all up for the adoption pool and then I made two cats for him to breed.  After 6 pm, Tina moved back home to take over the household.  She looked for a job in Adventure, but it didn't come up.  It's not urgent that she find a job, since she has plenty of money, so she'll hold out until she finds the one she wants.

Darcy Broke (see PV 12/9/20) had a tough morning/afternoon because she was sick with the infamous not that mysterious disease that everyone has.  She kept jumping out of her coffin to throw up or cough or something, but managed to survive the daytime.  At night she threw a party, inviting mostly family, but a couple of friends as well.  After the partygoers left, she bathed her very elderly dog and then worked some more on her latest novel.

Pleasantview 2/17/21

 Both Joe and Marion Carr (see PV 12/8/20) worked this round, as well as both cats.  Joe and Kiara the cat both got promotions.  Unfortunately, I was wrong about this promotion being Kiara's last, so Marion's LTW has still not been fulfilled.  And Kiara has the next two days off, so it won't be for a while yet.  *Sigh*

Elise Bruty (see PV 12/8/20) had an outing with her stepson Noel after work.  They went to her hobby lot, where I'd hoped she'd make some new friends, but she did not.  Though she was able to secure the skills points she needed for her next promotion, she's still in need of a large number of friends, so unless a really good chance card comes up, she's going to be stuck at this level for a while.

Brandon Tellerman (see PV 12/8/20) got promoted and finished his masters degree for Education.  Bruce spent some time with his daughter Gail and hung around the house all day.

Annabeth Copur (see PV 12/9/20) had a busy day.  She invited Amy over for her college payment, went to work, then had an outing with her brother and some other friends before collapsing into bed.  Consequently, she was sound asleep when Dom returned from work and immediately passed away with only the pets as witnesses.  When she woke later in the night, she cried for hours, poor thing.  RIP Dom.  He was 68 and didn't have the greatest life before meeting Annabeth, but I think she brought some joy into his life, so at least he died happy.

Pleasantview 2/16/21

 The Ottomas family (see PV 12/7/20) had an uneventful round.  Eliza skipped school and invited some friends over instead.  Gideon went to school, but he's been neglecting his homework recently.  Andrew puttered around all day while Kaylynn slept.  In the evening Kaylynn had her first pop.

Ryan Jacquet (see PV 12/7/20) had a great day.  He went off to work still short a charisma point and several friends, but while he was there he got a chance card promotion which caused him to achieve his LTW.  Upon returning home, he became an elder, but he wasn't bummed about it because he's permaplat.  His new LTW is for Slacker, but he'll be using up those vacation days first.

Luc Young (see PV 12/8/20) had the day off.  He spent the time skilling, then had a date with Marie Mazza, which went exceptionally well, but she's living with someone so no real future in it.
