Pleasantview 7/31/25

Pregnancy is really kicking Alicia Larson's (see PV 5/21/25) butt.  She can barely keep up with her needs and Cody's during the day.  Luckily, they have a maid and a gardener to help out around the house.  Next round she'll give birth and get back to feeling more like herself, but she'll also have two kids to care for, so that might not be much relief.  At least she gets a break at night when Craig's awake.  Poor thing is really suffering.

Lucas Broke (see PV 5/21/25) took a sick day from work to welcome his new child (a boy named...you guessed it...Amar 😒) into the family.  He also adopted yet another kitten, and then immediately rolled the want for another.  It's getting ridiculous.  Needless to say, I did not lock it in; hopefully it'll roll away by next round.

Griff Schehl (see PV 5/21/25) worked on his logic point, while his son Tad decided to fix up an old junker and buy a toy bench.  Tammy spent the day cleaning and teaching toddler skills to Beth.

Adam Hamilton (see PV 5/22/25) had the day off again, which was spent getting a body point.  Marylena cleaned up the house a bit and worked on her current car.  She also adopted another kitten, for a total of four cats.  (At least she didn't adopt a boy named Amar, lol!!)

Margaret Dreamer (see PV 5/22/25) spent the day working in her garden.

Isabella Landgraab (see PV 5/22/25) had an uneventful round.

Julie Deppiesse (see PV 5/22/25) aged up to teen with the LTW of having six grandchildren.  Since her hobby is music and dance, I'll have her pursue a career in Music.  Evelyn (who I mistakenly called Isabella last update) went out with some friends and continued to fail at finding a job.  James worked on some skills for work and bought a robot bench.

Lynn Tinker (see PV 5/22/25) was able to hire a manager for the appliance store almost immediately.  (A servo came up in the list of hirable sims and, I don't usually allow that much interaction with servos in this neighborhood {they are primarily used as placeholders/servants}, but in this case I decided to allow it because Lynn has so much going on and needed the manager asap.)  In any event, she used up her last vacation day to run the shop and hire the manager.  From here on out, she'll mostly be checking in with the business and concentrating on her Science job.  In other news, the twins grew into children and Lynn had just enough money to buy them beds.  She's really broke now, but at least she'll save a bit on the nanny.  I also noticed that she has the secondary aspiration for Grilled Cheese, which means she's a Goudentologist.  More on that later.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/29/25

Dylan Broke (see PV 5/19/25) passed away at the age of 76.  He leaves behind three sons and a young daughter (one son predeceased him).  Dylan was the oldest of six children born to the iconic couple Dustin and Angela Broke.  He struggled to maintain romantic relationships throughout his life, which is why he never reached his LTW of having a Golden Anniversary, but family was very important to him.  He remained close with his siblings and his children no matter where life took them.  He will be missed.  RIP Dylan.

The Goths (see PV 5/20/25) were a little better to play this time, with my new "save every six hours" rule (only one crash).  Lauren turned 60, Nathaniel and Sarah welcomed a baby boy, Joshua, and Rebekah will go off to college next round.

The chaos continues for Grace Butler (see PV 5/20/25), as one child's grades come up and another child's go down.  Add to that, the cat dying, adopting a new kitten, trying to get the house cleaned, hiring a gardener, repairing all the broken stuff, and still trying to find time for her own needs, her job, and skilling.  Luckily, she's got Damion to help out, as well as Corbin, who is a teen now.  Corbin is also planning to help out financially with his new job, but who knows how long he'll keep it if he keeps neglecting his homework.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/28/25

Amelia Pearson (see PV 5/19/25) live a long, often tragic, life before finally passing on at the age of 79.  She was the daughter of Houston Landchild and Priya (Ramaswami) Landchild.  Her older brother Sayid was from her mother's first marriage to Sanjay Ramaswami, and she had a younger sister, Miley, as well.  She married townie Justin Pearson and they had three sets of twins together.  Sadly, two of their children died as teens.  The remaining four children have provided Amelia with 10 grandchildren to date.  Ultimately, she lost her husband, her siblings, and another of her children before meeting the Grim Reaper herself.

And that's it for today!  I spent a very long time reorganizing the graveyard, as it had become pretty muddled.  We'll visit Dylan and Carter Broke tomorrow.

Pleasantview 7/27/25

Melody and Marcus Hamilton (see PV 5/16/25) did indeed have twins, Seth and Viola.  Their son Lucas also grew into a child.  Toby will likely die next round, at which point I'll have to decide whether to move Roger in with his mother (he is close to her, but she doesn't have much room for him) or keep him here with his sister (it would be simpler, but the household is pretty crowded).

Ryker and Audrey Jones (see PV 5/16/25) have been wanting to take a Far East vacation for a while now, so I let them do it this round.  They met some sims, saw some sights, bought some souvenirs, and discovered the secret lot where they learned the Dragon Legend.  Back at home, Darlene and Phil spent most of their time studying and learning new skills.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/25/25

Tosha Go (see PV 5/14/25) has yet to turn a profit from her business, but she did earn a bronze flower badge, so she's getting her stock in order at least.  Claire taught her dog Zoey the skill needed for a promotion and collected her pension which, in addition to Zoey's pay, was more than enough to cover her expenses for now.

Little Ruby Smith (see PV 5/15/25) grew into a child this round.  Her father bought her a puppy to celebrate.  Amar will reach adulthood next round.

Katie Tellerman (see PV 5/15/25) spent a quiet Sunday at home by the phone, waiting for word on her beloved cat.

Belinda Alpha's (see PV 5/16/25) power to cheat death saved her; she lives to see another day.  Rebecka had the day off, as did Bryan, which he spent adding more notches to his bedpost.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/24/25

Jonathan Greaves (see PV 5/12/25) spent a quiet Sunday at home, while Demi worked and got promoted.

Evan Dreamer (see PV 5/14/25) worked on skills during his day off, while Hailey wrangled the kids.  Hunter got his grades up and rolled a want for private school, which the family could just barely afford, so he took the last available slot (for boys, that is) at Briarwood Prep.  The two younger boys both learned to study.  Next round the new baby is due.

Megan Broke (see PV 5/14/25) is still short three friends for her next promotion, but she's got plenty of time to boost her friend count, being a vampire and all.  Travis had another date with Bill LeTourneau but, alas, it was not a dream date.  He and Bill are best friends and crushing on each other, but not yet in love.

Daniel Larson (see PV 5/14/25) got his employee trained up and promoted to manager just in the nick of time.  Now he'll be able to focus on running the gallery over the weekend, while leaving the bookstore in Sullivan's capable hands.  Brianna had the day off again.  Brooke got promoted to the top of Entertainment, completing her LTW.  Her new LTW is for 6 Pets to Top Careers, which could be doable, I suppose.  She'll be using up the vacation time she's racked up before going back to work anyway, so she'll have time to teach the pets some skills.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/23/25

Orlando Centowski (see PV 5/11/25) worked on his GED, Donna had her first pop, and Quentin had the day off which was spent doing household chores.  Both girls grew up - April to child and Diana to toddler.

Tosha Futa (see PV 5/12/25) got a bad chance card which cost her three cleaning skill points.  She spent most of the night regaining the points before collapsing into bed.

The Andersens' (see PV 5/12/25) new child turned out to be a boy named Amar.  They moved Hope and Jill into a room together and put Amar in a room by himself for now.  Mallory earned another promotion at work and taught both girls to study.  The kittens will grow up (and be sold) next round.

Todd Custer's (see PV 5/12/25) adoptive son, Amar (are all the kids in the social services pool named Amar?), arrived, and Todd got straight to work teaching toddler skills.  His mother took over caring for the baby in the evening when Todd had to head off to work (he got promoted).  Solveig has reached retirement age, but since she still has a couple of vacation days to use up, I'll let her keep her job for the time being, but she won't be going back to work.  Sadly, it looks like she and Ratna are going to be splitting up.  It was quite late by the time the determination was made, so the actual break up will take place at the beginning of their next round.

Lakshmi Broke's (see PV 5/12/25) seventh child turned out to be a girl, who she named Kaitlyn.  Ricky brought home Steven Ottomas, and later met Steffi Kim (who he has two bolts for) walking by the house.  Both Ricky and Declan have been struggling in school, so they had to spend some time catching up on homework.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/19/25

Eugene Gieke (see PV 5/6/25) had the day off and worked on logic skill, Agnes got demoted, Myrtle made another conquest (she's up to 5 lovers now), Audrey grew into a child, and one of the dogs ran away, which Oliver reported immediately.

The Bruty household (see PV 5/7/25) was pretty uneventful.  Paige got another promotion and Lee had another day off to spend teaching the toddlers.  Next round, Jonah and Nicole will finish high school.

Marvin and Vyn Gieke (see PV 5/7/25) welcomed a baby boy, Lionel, this round.  It may not be enough to save their marriage though.  Unless something changes, this couple is headed for divorce.

Since the furniture store is closed on Sunday, Lisa and Tessa Ramirez (see PV 5/8/25) spent a quiet day at home, doing household chores and relaxing in preparation for getting back to work on Monday.

Brad Dreamer (see PV 5/8/25) spent the day at home, skilling and spending time with his son.

Noelle Dennis (see PV 5/9/25) got promoted to the top of Entertainment and rolled a new LTW for 5 Top Businesses.  I had her take out a business loan to buy Le Magnifique! in Bluewater Village.  It seemed appropriate, as she has high interest in food, her OTH is cuisine, and now that she's a celebrity, it makes sense to me.  She'll be using up her vacation time and running the restaurant into retirement.  Obviously, she won't have time to actually complete the LTW, but I like to have a goal to work towards.

Rhonda Dreamer (see PV 5/9/25) went to work, then earned the skill points needed for her next promotion.  She will join her father Drake in elderhood next round.

Heath Lothario (see PV 5/10/25) was better at staying in his coffin this round.  Maybe he heard me when I decided to only send him back in his coffin a maximum of three times before leaving him to his own care lol.  Randy went to the store, earning a nice profit and a few stars.  Alvin, unfortunately, was fired from his teen job, but he soon rebounded and found another one.

Teddy Fuchs (see PV 5/11/25) got accepted to LFT, where he'll be studying philosophy for a future career in Journalism.  He's probably relieved to leave chaos behind.  Zack and Tamara's relationship is hanging on by a thread; it's fairly likely we'll see a split soon.  Jenna struggled to make it through the day, as she got out of the coffin numerous times, but I managed to keep her alive somehow.

The commune (see PV 5/11/25) was uneventful.

Both Lisa and Shawn Wong (see PV 5/11/25) got promoted and, after the other dog grew up, decided to breed them for a litter of puppies.

This round was a little more productive for the Todd family (see PV 5/11/25).  Meadow gave birth to a baby girl, Autumn and, while she didn't get the logic point she needs, she did get a call from a friend promising to "pull strings" for her at work.  River finally found the job in Criminal that he's been wanting (not sure if that's really a good thing, but it's what he wants lol).  Stone made a friend and began building a few more relationships that could potentially become friendships in the future.

*Sorry for the super long post.  I forgot to post on Thursday and then my internet went down yesterday before I could post, so you're getting three days' worth of simming in one go.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/15/25

Chase and Alyssa Picaso (see PV 5/5/25) have been wanting to go on a beach vacation for quite some time; they even bought a beach house (or what I thought was a house, lol) in preparation, but I've been waiting for Troy to be old enough to go with them.  Since Troy grew into a child last round, I decided the time had come for them to go to Twikki Island.  I was quite surprised to learn that the "beach house" they bought was just a lot with trees and a couple of hammocks, which is perfect for two plantsims like Alyssa and Chase, but not so great for Troy, who needs to eat and stuff.  I considered building a small shelter, but since I usually have sims spend most of their vacation time at community lots, I decided to just wing it and see how it went with keeping Troy's needs up.  In the end, it wasn't too hard to do, apart from hygiene (he returned home very stinky, lol) and everyone had a good time; in fact, they had such a good time that a lullaby was heard.  Upon returning home, they spent a relaxing Sunday together.  Troy met a couple of kids who walked by and his parents got some chores done around the house.  With the new addition arriving in a few days, I've decided to move the family to a new house.  The trailer was fine for just the three of them, but Troy's room is quite small and sharing with a sibling is not really going to work.  I moved them to a house that's been vacant for a while, as the elderly couple who lived there did not have any children to leave the house to; a dog has been placeholding the house.  I'm excited to see how my new mortgage rules work out; Chase and Alyssa are the first sims to take one, so we'll see how it goes.

Demi Butler was in a terrible mood (I think the pregnancy is hitting her hard) so she took a vacation day from work and took care of the toddlers and herself.  I'm not sure if she'll still get the promised promotion when she returns to work, but she was in no shape to go in, so we'll roll with it.  In addition to Demi's vacation pay, Hayden also brought home a paycheck, so the couple was in good enough financial shape by the end of the round to buy a house of their own.  They'll be moving to Pleasant Valley.  Lauren had the night off, which she spent teaching Lily some toddler skills.  She also hired a maid to help out around the house, since the place is absolutely disgusting.

Zoe Picaso (see PV 5/6/25) had the day, which was spent caring for the dogs, teaching one of them a skill for work, and stargazing.  Sadly, one of the dogs (Dina, who is about one day away from dying of old age) ran away from home.  Zoe reported it immediately; hopefully she'll be returned without anything glitching up when she ages.

Taylor Dreamer (see PV 5/6/25) got fired from his Culinary job, but he took a job in Music instead.  He also finished his GED and began working on his degree for Architecture.  Caryl got promoted to the top of her teen career in Business and Ethan had the day off.

Russ Bear (see PV 5/6/25) spent a quiet day at home with his daughter Robin.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/14/25

Orphanage Unit One (see PV 5/5/25) had five kids this round (Kyra Broke's mother regained custody of her.)
Maya Tellerman is causing lots of drama by skipping school and fighting with the other girls.  She was forced to attend class this round, as she had a D-, and brought her grades up slightly as a result.  She will finish high school next round.
Mari Alpha went to school and had the day off from work.
Olivia Landgraab went to school but has shown no interest in getting a job.  Her future is still undecided.
Keegan Alpha and Asia Kim both grew into toddlers.
Michelle, in a surprising turn of events, decided to leave her position at the orphanage in order to move in with Gavin Jacquet, who she very recently got romantically involved with.  It makes sense in a way.  Gavin is very wealthy (or at least his mother is), so he's perhaps a better catch than Derek.  I can see her wanting to get on with her life and raise some children of her own maybe.  Gavin is Family, so he'll definitely be on board as well.  Poor Derek though.  Gavin is an elder now, so maybe Michelle and Derek will reunite after he's gone.  Who knows?  In any event, a new orphanage worker was needed and George McCarthy was moved in to take Michelle's place.  We'll learn more about him next time.

Orphanage Unit Two (see PV 5/5/25) had five kids this round.
The two older boys (Jeremy Landgraab and Beck Tellerman) attended school.
Rachel Landgraab remains a toddler.
Merlin received two new charges - twins Anthony and Ashley Ruben, who remain infants.

Ella Ottomas (see PV 5/5/25) went out with some of her elder lady friends to Hunter's Park before heading out to work.  She was still short a friend, so I didn't expect a promotion, but one of her friends (Tammy Ottomas, who, incidentally, is Ella's ex-husband's aunt) pulled some strings for her, scoring her the final promotion needed to reach her LTW of topping Dance.  She rolled the new LTW to make 20 Pet BFs and will now be running out her vacation time before retiring.

Buffy Summers (see PV 5/5/25) had an uneventful round.  Count Nery did not come by.  I may need to find someone in town who's friends with him to move him in so I can control him and send him into the sun.

Caryl Landgraab's (see PV 5/5/25) business is doing quite well; she ranked up to level 5 and earned a profit of nearly $3500.  Scott had another day off which he spent cleaning, teaching toddler skills to Dustin, and working on charisma skill.  In the evening, Billy grew into a teen with the LTW to top Architecture.  Side note: One of the elder cats died, and a litter of kittens is due next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/13/25

Gladys Bruty (see PV 5/2/25) got a promotion, Dale had a dream date with Jan Tellerman (his first of 50) and bought a car, and Joshua went out with friends.  The younger kids didn't have much going on, but Jeannie did meet the other Jeannie Bruty in the neighborhood, which I found quite funny.  Next round we should see the arrival of the new adopted family member.

Erik Swain (see PV 5/2/25) got promoted and he and Tina welcomed another baby girl, Dana.  I've been trying to restart Tina's mother's animal shelter, but no strays seem to ever come by, so I'm reimagining the shelter as more of a rescue home - the difference being that, instead of adopting strays to give away to other sims, they can adopt pets from the pet adoption service and give them a good home.  They have plenty of money and it would clear out some of the pets in the adoption pool, so that some new ones would generate.  Since they both have the want for a pet right now, it makes sense to me.

The Kims (see PV 5/2/25) had a quiet round.  Amar had the day off, while Melanie worked.  They added a bird to their pet menagerie.  Amar spent the day trying (but not quite managing) to teach one of the cats a skill for their job and making toy robots.  Melanie finally gained the missing skill point she needs.  On a side note, the couple's relationship is not looking too healthy at the moment, which is not very surprising, given that Melanie is carrying on multiple affairs; we'll see what develops for them in the future.

Joe and Sharlene Graham (see PV 5/5/25) welcomed a baby boy, who they named Joseph.  Sadly, Joe didn't have much time to bond with his namesake - he passed away at age 66.  Sharlene will have to carry on alone for now, but at least she has Claire to help out with the kids.  Speaking of Claire, her stepfather's life insurance money allowed her to finally enroll in online classes to get her GED.  The family also got a new puppy to celebrate Randall's child birthday.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/12/25

Justin Kim (see PV 5/1/25) ran the roller rink, Alon checked on the pet store and ran the toy store (which leveled up to rank 2), Brittany had the day off, Charlene got promoted, and Jeanette aged up to teen with a LTW for Education.  In addition, Alon rolled the want to make a wish on the genie lamp and, since he's Fortune, I had him wish for wealth.  The family really needed the cash infusion, what with so many college educations to fund.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/11/25

Armando Ottomas (see PV 4/29/25) finally got his promotion and is all set for another.  Nadine is still using up vacation days; she'll become an elder next round.  Between them, they were finally able to send both Anton and Joanne to boarding school.  Before they left, however, Anton went out to dinner with his former stepfather, Alon Kim, who raised him as his own for most of Anton's life.  I feel like he thinks of Alon as his father more than Armando, given he has no relationship with Armando at all.  Maybe that's his motivation for wanting to go away to school?

Alexis and Alvin Broke (see PV 4/30/25) didn't have too much going on this round.  Alvin is still using up his vacation time.  Alexis ran the salon for a bit before going out with friends, where she impulsively decided to get her nose pierced.

At the Bruty house (see PV 4/30/25), Thomas was the only one who worked, but he didn't get a promotion.  Noel went out with friends, Ivy attempted a dream date (no dice), and Camille finished her GED, took a job as a Gamer, and went out to a club to meet guys.  Eve grew into a teen, rolling the LTW for 50 Dream Dates, and making the decision to pursue a career in Journalism (her hobby is sports, which matches her with either Athletic or Journalism).

Happy Simming!

Thursday, July 10, 2025

Pleasantview 7/10/25

Tess Landgraab (see PV 4/29/25) scored another promotion, as did her son Shane.  The family adopted another kitten and, in the evening, when Stephen woke up, he and Tess worked on teaching the twins to study.  Stephen also invited his sisters and a few of the kids around for some berry pie that Tess whipped up.

Cara Broke (see PV 4/29/25) got a promotion, went out with friends, worked on body skill, and went to sleep.

Lucy Hanby and Aiden Broke (see PV 4/29/25) are now "living together" again; I use this phrase loosely as one of them is undead and they have opposite schedules, so there's not much togetherness.  In any event, I think Lucy is happy to have a cat in the house again (Aiden brought his cat Ariel with him).

Gavin Jacquet (see PV 4/29/25) aged up to elder and I realized that his twin aged up a round or so ago.  I'm not sure how that happened exactly, but I'll check Ryan's age when I get to him and see if I need to adjust one of them somehow so that they match again.  Lila invited some friends over and Gavin fell in love with Michelle Kearney (one of the orphanage workers).  I don't know if it'll go anywhere, but if I recall, Michelle is also in love with one of her fellow workers, so it might get awkward.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/9/25

At Pleasantview Prison (see PV 4/28/25) two new inmates have joined Mason Tellerman and Rosemary Bruty - Alvin Broke and Allegra Phoenix.  Alvin is serving a 6-day sentence, with the possibility of parole after 4 days, though it'll be a long shot for him to be granted parole, as this is his third stint in prison.  It's only Allegra's first time here, but she was given a 12-day sentence, with a minimum of 8 days to be served before parole is an option, so she'll be here a while.

Evan Broke (see PV 4/28/25) aged up to elder this round and, once again, his marriage is on the rocks.  He and Heather are just barely hanging on; we'll have to see how it plays out for these two.  Heather is still working on the last skill point she needs for a promotion.  Hobart wrote a restaurant guide and has taken an interest in stargazing, which could be really interesting in the future.  Charlotte worked on her master's and FINALLY found a job in Medicine.  Hooray!!  Warner met Madison Kim, who he has one bolt for, but they didn't get too close before she headed home.  Baby Harmon should be growing up to toddler next round.  And I've decided to move this family to a new home, as the constant saving to avoid constant crashing is really getting to me.  I'm only taking career rewards and cars with me, so hopefully whatever is causing the issue will be deleted upon moving them out.  They'll start fresh somewhere new and I intend to replace their current house with a copy since it's a bin house anyway.  It'll be a fresh clean lot for whoever ultimately moves in.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/8/25

 At Briarwood Prep...

Girls' Dorm A (see PV 4/27/25) has five students: Amy Broke, Daphne Dreamer, Kylie Greaves, Emily Greaves, and Mariah Landgraab.  Emily (Kylie's younger sister) and Mariah are newcomers.  Everyone focused on school and work this round.  At the end, Amy graduated but opted not to attend Uni; she'll be moving back home with her mother.  Next round, both Daphne and Kylie will graduate.

Boys' Dorm A (see PV 4/27/25) has six students: Julian Delarosa, Ray Grundstrom, Sean Tellerman, and new students Wesley Grundstrom (Ray's younger brother), Marcel Dennis, and Edgar Gieke.  Julian graduated and (just barely) got into SSU, where he'll be played next round.  Ray is set to graduate next round, and the other boys will be here for a while yet.

Boys' Dorm B (see PV 4/27/25) has six students: Glen Gray, Richard Ottomas, Teddy Korman, Steven Ottomas, Parker Ottomas, and new student Shay Bruty.  Incidentally, in case you were wondering, Steven and Parker are cousins, though they don't know each other that well.  Glen graduated and headed off to LFT; both Richard and Teddy will be graduating next round.

Girls' Dorm B (see PV 4/28/25) still has five students: Madison Kim, Violet Grundstrom, Caryl Bruty, Elise Shahan, and Katrina Swain.  Madison skipped school, bringing her grade down to a D, so she'll be forced to attend class next round.  Everyone else went to school, did homework, went to work, and skilled as usual.  No one graduated this round, but Madison and Violet will do so next time.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/4/25

The final dorm is of course Mille House (see PV 4/26/25), where we now have four students (three are incoming freshmen): Savannah Broke, Noelle Tellerman, Aaron GilsCarbo, and Max Deppiesse.
Savannah had dates with both Aaron and Max, though I don't think she's really serious about either of them.  Unfortunately, the guy she is serious about is David Ottomas, who isn't serious about anyone, so there's that.  Her love life aside, she did quite well this round, graduating Summa Cum Laude; she'll be working on her master's for Intelligence next round before leaving campus (likely to move in with her cousin Lucas, but we'll see what happens).
Noelle had a date with headmaster BJ Ryan, which went better than I expected.  She's not in love with him but definitely could be in the future if they continue.  She decided to buy a robot bench, which she spent a good bit of her time working on.  Academically, she scored an A+ for her first term.
Aaron's date with Savannah wasn't that exciting, but he's met a couple other girls who might be better matches for him in the future.  He rolled the want to buy a business and, since his LTW is to have 5 Top Businesses, I'm having him plan on buying Lucky Shack, which he'll make into a sports bar.  He will take out a loan next round and get started on that.  He scored an A+ for his first semester.
Max is pretty into Savannah, but I think he's going to end up getting his heart broken.  I guess we'll see how things go next round.  He also earned an A+ for his first term.

We'll be on to Briarwood next.  Until next time, Happy Simming!

Thursday, July 3, 2025

Pleasantview 7/3/25

At Romara Dorm (see PV 4/25/25) there is just one student remaining: Jason Broke.
Jason finished his sophomore year with an A+, maintaining his 4.0 GPA.

At Lam Plaza (see PV 4/25/25) we have the same two students: Gabriella Hamilton and Kimberli Cox.
Gabi had a date with Lucas Broke and finished junior year with an A+.
Kimberli had a date with Charlie Stallkamp (the aforementioned elderly townie) and also scored an A+ to wrap up her freshman year.

Casteroff still has three students: Darius Goss, Dawn Grundstrom, and Caryl Broke.
Darius spent his time working, then left campus to move in with his girlfriend Alyssa Larson.
Dawn graduated Summa Cum Laude and will spend her final term completing her master's degree in Medicine.
Caryl pledged Tri-Annya, finished freshman year with an A+, and moved to the Greek house, where she'll be played next round.
*Unless some new students move in, this dorm will become vacant after next round when Dawn leaves campus.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 7/2/25

At Nagard-Fruhm-Cham (see PV 4/24/25) there are still three members: Jess Creelman, Andrew Dreamer, and Jason Fancey.
Jess was invited out by a friend of a friend and I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet women, so I had him accept.  I had to laugh though because, apart from the woman who invited him, all the women in the outing were either pregnant, elderly, or gay.  In addition, more than half the women who showed up on the community lot during the outing were also pregnant - it was just a sea of maternity-wear lol.  Anyway, I digress.  Jess completed his junior year with another A+ and will begin senior year next round.
Andrew graduated Summa Cum Laude and will spend his final term working before (probably) moving back home.
Jason also earned an A+ and will finish his junior year next round.

At Boggs Hall (see PV 4/24/25) Cybil did get accepted to Tri-Annya so, after finishing her freshman year with an A+, she moved to the sorority house, which will leave this dorm empty unless some new students get assigned here.

Pleasantview 7/1/25

At ALT, we have Blake Tellerman and Amanda Carlson, who moved into a small house on campus last round.  Blake is a senior majoring in physics and Amanda is a freshman majoring in art.  They were pretty strapped for cash after moving in, so they went out to earn a little money by performing music for tips.  It was helpful, but they're still pretty broke.  Academically, they both made the Dean's List and maintained their perfect 4.0s.  Blake will graduate next round, then spend a round working on his master's degree for science, while Amanda will finish freshman year.

Moving on to Tri-Annya Sorority (which was vacant last round except for the placeholder), we have two members: Vicki McGaw and Lauren Greaves.
Vicki is a freshman (as former placeholder, she is an exception to the "no freshmen in Greek houses" rule) lit major.  She earned an A+ for her first semester.
Lauren is a new member, coming in as a junior (drama major).  (Fun fact: Lauren's older sister Sydney was one of the founding members of the sorority.)  She also scored an A+, maintaining her 4.0.  She will begin her senior year next round.
Note: The gardener showed up, pulled like two weeds and left immediately, so the girls spent a good part of their time gardening.  It's still a work in progress, but at least they got the flowers replaced and sprinklers installed so they won't keep dying from neglect.  I will have to try to catch the gardener next time she appears so I can fire/rehire her.

Happy Simming!
