Pleasantview 6/26/25 #2 Alpha and Latte Legacies

It was another chaotic day with the Alpha Legacy (see PV 3/24/21).  The family made some progress with getting the new items stocked, but they have a long way to go still.  Coral gave birth to two puppies: Darwin and Dixie.  I'm really hoping they grow up to be normal looking.  As far as finding a husband for Danica goes, we had a setback because Damion Pearson (aka the Slob) was moved into base Pleasantview by one of his love interests, thereby rendering him ineligible for marriage into the legacy.  I tried to have Betty put Daniel Landry into a group and invite him over, but he was always "unavailable", so I guess he doesn't like her enough to come over.  Perhaps he'll be the cop who delivers the mate for the "D" generation pet heir, but that's kind of a long shot.  So, my plan is to keep an eagle eye out for male townies with D names because at the moment no one in the family knows anyone.  I may have to send Danica out at some point to actively look for someone, but she still has a few days of teenhood left, so the situation is not critical.

At the Latte house (see PV 3/24/21 #2), I spent a little money on some hobby activities for the elders (they've earned it) and Joy went to the café to earn some cash.  They have about a third of what they need saved up, so still a ways to go.  Back at home, Joy got her first pop, and I realized that Peter knows a dormie named Derek.  He didn't, however, know any of the Alphas, but I had him get friendly with Derek just in case.  And then (lucky day!!), Danica walked by!  I had Peter greet her and then invite Derek over so they could meet.  The only fly in the ointment is that Danica can't stand Derek; they had negative interaction after negative interaction.  But no matter because they will like each other once I get done with them lol.  Peter saved the day on that one.  In other news, baby Jocelyn grew into a toddler.

And that concludes this round of Pleasantview!  We'll begin again tomorrow.  Happy Simming!
