Pleasantview 5/31/25

Jonah Powers (see PV 2/20/21) worked, had some friends over, and cleaned up the house a bit.  He also inherited $1000 from Sasha Dreamer, which will allow him to afford a repairman for the computer.

The Gothiers (see PV 2/20/21) spent the day teaching Anton toddler skills and adopting a new kitten, then threw a party in the evening.

Delia Ottomas (see PV 2/20/21) had a much-needed day off.  She did some gardening, cleaned the house, and went out with some friends while the kids were off at school.  Later, she worked on teaching the twins to study, but neither of them quite got there, as everyone is sick and had to keep running to the bathroom.  In other news, Delia inherited some money from her dad, Nathan, and was able to remodel the house a bit to give Lily her own room.  They are still planning to move in with Luke asap, but they'll be here at least one more round, so why not?

Lois Tellerman (see PV 2/21/21) IS, in fact, pregnant with Joshua Ruben's baby.  Consequently, she was in a terrible mood all round (not helped by the fact that she's also sick with the flu) and was unable to go to work (not that she would have been promoted anyway because of the poor mood).  She took care of Cheryl (barely), got a repairperson in to fix the broken stuff, paid the bills, and tried to rest a little in between throwing up and passing out.  To top it all off, Gail has been falling behind in homework and now has a D, and Lois's date with Joshua went so badly (due to the constant passing out) that it nearly killed her.  The house is a mess, the kids will be taken away if Gail's grades don't come up, and Lois can barely manage to keep herself alive.  (She's also still broke.)  So, out of the frying pan, into the fire.  Poor thing.

Russell and Trudi Broke (see PV 2/22/21) both worked, but neither was promoted.  When they got home, the whole family went out to a cafe in Bluewater for the afternoon.  Trudi had her first pop later on and then broke the computer, preventing anyone from working on their studies.  Russell did, at least, get the skills he needs for his next promotion.  I also decided to expand the backyard a bit, adding some play equipment and a pool for the family to enjoy.  They've earned it after so many years in that trailer park.

Claire Tellerman (see PV 2/23/21) got her computers fixed and was thus able to finish her GED just before dawn.  She doesn't have enough money to start on her degree yet, so she'll need to do some more financial consulting to save up.  Jesse had a play date before aging up to teen and rolling the LTW for Architecture.

Zena Dreamer (see PV 2/23/21) did not get a promotion, but she and Nevada got a substantial inheritance from Nathan.  Zena used some of the money to upgrade the kitchen.  Nevada is still very sad about her father's passing; she spent most of the day crying.  Next round she'll grow into a teen.

Marie Mazza and Andrew Gergis (see PV 2/24/21) decided to get married this round.  They also both got promoted, so they've got a decent sum of cash on hand.  Since Theo will be growing up next round, I think they'll need to look into moving to a bigger house.

Happy Simming!
