100 Chapel Hill: Mayor Curtis Johnson and his wife welcomed a son, Brandon, this winter. In addition, they attended the Winter Festival and took some time to mingle with the townsfolk. The mayor met with his council, as well as Gabriel Johnson, who found some very rare artifacts while mining. The artifacts were turned over to the town and Mayor Johnson paid Gabriel a handsome finder's fee. Property taxes will be going into effect the first of spring and Curtis has decided that this year the farmers will be getting a discount. Some of the townspeople believe that this decision is based on the fact that the mayor's brother, who is a member of the council, also happens to be a farmer.
Happy Simming!
