This round Marie Mazza (see PV 8/13/20) had a date with a townie, Andrew Gergis, and at the end of it they decided to move in together. Andrew brought in $10,000 which is great, but still not really enough for a bigger house. He works in the Slacker career, but wants to be in Law. The rule of thumb for townies is that they are assumed to have the proper education for whatever job they're in. Unfortunately for Andrew, Slacker does not require any education, therefore he has no education. That means he'll have to earn a GED, a degree, and a masters degree online. With that in mind, I decided to have them stay on here for a little while, even though Andrew has to sleep on a hammock outside due to space concerns. Once little Theo becomes a child they'll need to find something better.
Cole and Brittany Long (see PV 8/13/20) both had the day off today. They each took some time to have outings with their friends and then Brittany spent most of the day working on school, while Cole took care of Skye. Neither of them is keen on household chores, so their house is pretty trashed, but Cole did clean up the kitchen a bit. In the afternoon, Brittany finally popped! I think the baby is still not due for a couple days, but who knows at this point. Thanks to Brittany's maternity pay, they were able to scrape up enough money to buy a bathtub and finally bathe their stinky dog China. Money will continue to be tight for the foreseeable future since Cole has two more days off and Brittany will be on maternity leave until the baby's born.
Jace Rusewicz (see PV 8/14/20) decided to pop the question to his girlfriend Nancy this round. At long last Nancy became Mrs. Rusewicz. It was just what she needed after getting demoted at work and arriving home just in time to watch the cat die. At least Jace got promoted, so the family has a little cash now. I need to start thinking about the best ways to expand their house, since all three kids are still sharing a room.
Happy Simming!
