Pleasantview 12/31/20

Ashley Pitts (see PV 10/30/20) worked and then had a great outing with friend, during which he added another notch to his bedpost with townie Kitty Fuchs.  He also met a couple other women during the outing that he can keep in mind for future conquests.  A couple more promotions and he might even get out of this crappy apartment.

Jared Starchild (see PV 10/30/20) had the day off, so he spent some time skilling and then threw a party.  A good time was had by all.

The Phoenixes (see PV 10/30/20) threw a party this round to celebrate both the twins' birthday and Allegra's promotion.  Things are even more cramped in their tiny trailer now with all the toddler toys and such, but they need to save all the money they can to pay Allegra's eventual legal fees, so moving to a bigger place is out of the question.

Pleasantview 12/30/20

Kevin Beare (see PV 10/29/20) got promoted this round and hung out with Castor Nova for a while.  He had enough money to buy a little more furniture for his apartment, including a tv, so life is looking up for him.

Caryl Grundstrom (see PV 10/29/20) once again did not get promoted and once again did not find a job in Business.  She did have a nice outing with friends and family though, so it wasn't a total loss.

Morgan Alpha (see PV 10/30/20) had a dream date with Shawn Wong.  I guess she wanted to take advantage of the fact that she can't get any more pregnant than she already is.  The rest of her time was spent sleeping and dealing with the effects of the mysterious disease.  She still hasn't found the job she wants either.  Next round the baby will be born.

Martin Dreamer's (see PV 10/30/20) business was closed this round, so he didn't have much to do.  He went out with a couple of friends, but didn't meet anyone interesting.  Greg had to work, but got invited on an outing later by a friend of a friend.  The outing was underwhelming, but at least he finally found a job in Entertainment after midnight.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/29/20

Jasper Roseland graduated last round and moved to Bella Park.  He spent this round settling into his new place, meeting the neighbors, and trying to find a job in Music (to no avail).  Since he's okay financially, I'll give him a day or two to find the job he wants before making him take what's available.

Gunnar Roque and Jasmine Rai (see PV 10/29/20) both got promoted at their jobs.  Jasmine turned in early, but Gunnar partied with his friends all night.  Their finances are looking pretty good.  They might just be able to pay off their student loans in a few days, which would be a huge load off.

Since we last caught up with Calvin Latte (see PV 10/29/20), his younger brother Noah has moved in with him.  Luckily Noah was able to find a job as an Athlete right away, though he won't start work until next round.  He invited over some friends, most of whom are still teens, and then did some skilling while Calvin was at work.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/28/20

Roxie Sharpe moved in with Phineaus Furley (see PV 10/28/20) since last round.  She brought in enough money to buy a couch and a bookcase, with a little to spare.  She also worked this round and brought in a little more cash.  Phineaus had the day off and spent it with friends at the park.  At home he did manage to acquire the cleaning point needed for his promotion.  After midnight, Roxie was delighted to find job in Culinary she's been looking for.  She's starting out as Executive Chef!  That's got to be a lot better than working construction.  She'll need A LOT of skill points to advance, but she's making twice what Phineaus is, so it's not like she needs an immediate promotion.

Will Bruty and Quinn Leong (see PV 10/28/20) had a good round.  They both got promotions, Will had an outing with friends, and Quinn went out to his hobby lot to score a logic point.  Next round the twins will grow up, so that'll be exciting.

Emily Lee (see PV 10/28/20) had a tame round.  She worked, then threw a party.  I made her invite both her boyfriends in an effort to make her choose between them.  She thwarted my plans though by refusing to do anything romantic with either of them and then taking herself off to bed while everyone else enjoyed the hot tubs.  Sims!

Pleasantview 12/27/20

Guy Wrightley (see PV 10/27/20) had a busy day.  He worked his new job in the morning, earning a promotion on his first day, then he had a quick date with Jasmine Rai, ran his business, then was immediately invited on an outing.  I had him go because I was hoping he'd meet someone besides Jasmine, who is in a relationship with Gunnar Roque, but he wasn't overly impressed with any of the women he met.  Upon returning home, he was exhausted and went straight to bed.  Financially, he did okay; between his job earnings and his business earnings he was able to make a normal payment on his student loan (which is nearly paid off) and a reduced payment on his business loan, as well as pay the regular bills.  So, not too bad.  In other news, while he was at his business, Count Nery came by and turned a couple of sims (Liam Bruty and Mark Grundstrom) which I was definitely not happy about.

Ben Tellerman (see PV 10/28/20) had a date with Cara Broke, which went very well indeed.  They did not decide to move in together just yet, as their relationship is still very new, but I foresee that happening in the near future.  Afterwards, Ben went to work and earned a promotion easily with his platinum mood.  He was so wired, he didn't even sleep, choosing instead to practice the bass throughout the night.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/26/20

Delilah Custer (see PV 10/26/20) got hit with a bad chance card that resulted in her being fired.  She was not able to find her job again, so for now she's unemployed.  Mark was luckier; he got promoted.  Dwayne and Lexie both had the day off and worked on skilling.  In the evening they threw a building party, but it wasn't very successful because Delilah set the grill on fire while cooking burgers.

Joel Hanby (see PV 10/26/20 & 10/27/20) was the only member of his household to get promoted this round.  Chaz and Tom were both starting in their new jobs and didn't have time to skill beforehand.  Upon returning home, everyone worked on skilling, but no one actually achieved all the skills they need yet.

Arianna Bruty (see PV 10/27/20) had another day off, which she spent skilling and hanging out with friends.  She still doesn't have all the skills she needs, but she made some good progress.  Zoe spent most of her time caring for Jeannie, but did squeeze in some stargazing in the evening.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/25/20

You may recall that Jessie Carr moved in with Meredith Landgraab (see PV 10/26/20) earlier this round.  While this is financially a great move for them both, it's a powder keg waiting to explode as well.  You see, unbeknownst to Meredith, Jessie is also seeing her daughter Naomi.  He is, in fact, the father of the two children Naomi gave up to the orphanage.  I daresay it's only a matter of time before the whole thing blows up in their faces.  For this round, however, Jessie got settled in, got promoted to the top of the Slacker career, and finished his GED.  He'll start working on his degree next round.  Meredith was supposed to take vacation, but I accidentally let her go to work.  Oh well.  She'll be retiring soon.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/24/20

Castor Nova (see PV 10/25/20) got promoted this round, just in time to pay the rent next round.  Jane had the day off, so she worked more on her schooling.  The neighbors were particularly annoying because they kept running in to throw up and then just hanging out, watching tv and getting in the way.

Matthew Hart (see PV 10/25/20) finally got that promotion.  He's still way behind William though.  William did not get promoted, but after work he invited some friends over and then did some skilling.

Eric Landgraab (see PV 10/25/20) didn't have much going on this round.  He had the day off and decided to throw a building party, since he needs friends for his job.  It ended up being a "disaster", however, because no one really talked to him and then they all went inside their apartments at 10 pm.  Kinda sucked for Eric, lol.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/23/20

Shanna Copur (see PV 10/24/20) was back to business as usual this round.  After barely scraping by on the rent, she didn't have money to restock anything at her shop.  She sold the few remaining perfumes and jewelry and was only able to restock jewelry before closing up for the day.  Next round her business will be closed and the only income will be from Sarah's financial consulting.  They can't go on like this forever. They really need to catch a break...and soon.

The Sims family (see PV 10/24/20) spent the day at home.  Chris slept through the day, while Xavier worked on his schooling and watched over Kurt.  Since they knew the baby would be coming in the evening, Chris invited her family over for an impromptu party.  The baby was born just as the party was ending - a girl, Jada.  I had been a little concerned about the state of their relationship, but during the party they repaired a lot of the damage, so I think they'll be alright.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/22/20

The Shahans (see PV 10/23/20) welcomed their new bundle of joy this round.  I had hoped for a girl, so naturally the game produced a boy.  C'est la vie. His name is Jackson.  To celebrate Elise's birthday, Amy threw her a party, but it ended up being kind of a dud, since only one of Elise's friends showed up.  Elise rolled the LTW to top Oceanography, as well as immediate wants to go to private school, attend college, and earn some money.  Briarwood is currently at capacity, so that's not an option, but I did lock in the Uni want (I only do this for sims who need college) and let her get a teen job in Science so she can earn some cash.  Next round baby Jackson will grow up.

Blossom Moonbeam (see PV 10/23/20) had the day off.  She went shopping with some friends (window shopping, of course, since she's broke) and the outing went so well that one of them left a gift afterwards.  Since she didn't really need a bottle of champagne, I let her sell it.  She still didn't find her Natural Science job, though, so that was a bummer.  Stella Terrano had a good day.  She came home early after a chance card indicated she was being demoted, however when she returned home she got a pop-up that said Zoe Picaso had pulled strings for her and got her promoted instead!  Since she already had the skills needed for the next promotion, she spent the rest of the day goofing off.  Klara Vonderstein, however, did not fare as well.  She worked on her charisma before work, but didn't quite score the point she needed.  While at work, a chance card cost her another charisma point, meaning she had to spend most of her evening at the mirror to earn back the point she lost, as well as gain the extra one she needed.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/21/20

Elise Seifert (see PV 10/21/20) finally got promoted this round, making it possible to finally pay the rent.  They still don't have enough money for Cooper's next round of school, but they'll have bills due soon so that may have to stay on hold for a while.  Not to mention that they decided to have another baby in the midst of their financial crisis.  I'm sure that will help.  At least they still have the second crib that was recently vacated by Ivy.  In other news, Calvin grew into a toddler

No one worked in the Bruty household (see PV 10/22/20) this round, but Michelle did find a job as a Slacker while she saves up for her GED.  I also realized that they don't even have a computer, which will make online learning a problem, so they'll need to get one of those as well.  Kevin invited over some friends and also earned the skills needed for his next promotion.

The Wongs (see PV 10/22/20) slept all day (though Patrick got up multiple times, grrr) and then threw a party at night.  Devin had to go to work in the middle of the party, but everyone else had such a good time that the neighbors complained and the cops broke it up.

Pamela Broke (see PV 10/23/20) had the day off and decided to throw a sports party.  I don't really get what the difference is between sports party and house party, since watching/playing sports seems to have no effect whatsoever on the party score, but whatever.  She was throwing the party during the day, so it seemed like a sports thing.  Unfortunately, her cousin Alvin caught her in a romantic moment with Griff Schehl and proceeded to harass Griff for the rest of the party, tanking the score.  Alvin left about 3 seconds before the party ended in disaster, so there wasn't time to recover.  Oh well, I should've known parties weren't Pam's thing lol.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/20/20

Jessie Carr (see PV 10/21/20) made the decision to move in with Meredith Landgraab, so since I haven't played Meredith yet this rotation, I moved him in immediately without playing him first.  He'll get played with Meredith's family instead.

Mia Landry and Liam Bruty (see PV 10/21/20) both had the day off.  Mia invited some friends over, but most of them left early.  Liam's daughter Caryl celebrated her teen birthday and rolled the LTW to top Medicine.

The alien lot (see PV 10/21/20) was fairly uneventful apart from Quade growing into a teen.  Remington only has a couple more days of fertility, at which point I'll need to move in another man to take over if I want to continue the alien lot.  Problem is, Remington doesn't have any friends.  Robi has one male townie friend, so he'd be a good choice I suppose.  Maybe that guy has another friend who could eventually replace Robi?

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/19/20

Sabastian Broke (see PV 10/20/20) got promoted at work.  Now he just needs one more promotion to reach the top of Science and fulfill his LTW and he'll have a couple days off to earn the remaining skills needed.  To celebrate he threw a party, which looked pretty lame to me, but apparently sims are infinitely entertained by kicky bag, so they thought it was great.  Geoffrey was still short quite a few points so he didn't get promoted, nor did he get much work done on skilling because he's still sick.  Damon had the worst day, though, poor kid.  No one wanted to pay attention to him, so his social kept getting low.  He couldn't keep his fun up either because he thinks (like all sims) that the ballet bar is fun, when it's actually not.  Plus, he too is sick and spent a lot of time throwing up.  At least some of the partygoers talked to him.  He didn't make any headway on the homework he's behind on though, so hopefully next round (Sunday) will be a better day for him.

Riley, Braden, and Mira (see PV 10/20/20) threw a barbeque for all their friends this round.  It went really well, despite Riley inviting more than one of her lovers.  Afterwards, Riley had to work, while Braden took his last vacation day, and Mira had the day off.  Braden looked for a new job in Gaming, but it wasn't there.  Mira cleaned her bathroom, bathed her dog, and worked on her school a bit.  Next round will be Riley's last day of work, as she'll be reaching retirement age.

The plant sim lot (see PV 10/21/20) was uneventful as usual.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/18/20

It was another calm round in the Sharpe/Indie/O'Feefe house (see PV 10/19/20).  Everyone worked, but no one got promoted.  Delilah's job didn't come up, but she did buy an art easel so she can earn some extra cash painting.

Calista Verse (see PV 10/19/20) went out with some friends while DJ was working, then went to work herself as soon as DJ returned home.  Opposite work schedules are not ideal for newlyweds, but once Calista gets a few more promotions under her belt, they should be more in sync.  By the way, both women earned promotions this round.

Things were looking up in the Donnelly household (see PV 10/19/20) this round.  Aaron had the day off, so Brian was free to go to work and leave Bridget in her brother's care.  When he returned, Aaron had a chance to ask Jeannie Gray on a date.  It was their first date, and they only have one bolt, but it ended as a dream date with both of them in crush.  Later that evening, Aaron finally got the logic point he needs for work, and he did some homework, so he may be up for a promotion soon, which will definitely help the family finances.

Brandon GilsCarbo (see PV 10/19/20) had the day off and spent it hanging out with friends.  The outing went well and Brandon even managed to earn $100 freestyling.  He still didn't find a job in Music, but he'll work next round and hopefully get a promotion bonus because will be due in a few days.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/17/20

Andrzej Landgraab (see PV 10/17/20) got a much needed promotion this round, though since he has the next day off, I'm going to have him save the money for his final student loan payment that will be due on Friday.  After work, he invited some family/friends over to celebrate Lane's birthday, during which he and Stacy decided to give Lane the gift of a sibling.  To top it all off, when the outing ended Andrzej scored a cleaning point, which is exactly what he needed for his next promotion.  Consequently, instead of spending the night skilling, he spent it working on toddler skills with Lane, while Stacy got some rest.

Sophie Young and Eric Parker (see PV 10/17/20) maintained the status quo for the most part.  Eric worked during the day, while Sophie had lunch with a friend in Bluewater Village.  Unfortunately for Eric, however, a bad chance card cost the couple $10,000.  Sophie worked at night, while Eric was stargazing for the logic point he needs (he still didn't get it, grrr), and when she returned home she looked for Criminal, but it didn't come up.

Clarence Ramirez (see PV 10/18/20) invited his friend Jared over for a bit before work and also decided to get a cat.  The new cat is nearly an elder already; from his memories, he seems to have once been owned by Drake Dreamer.  I'm not sure what happened, but for whatever reason he ended up back in the adoption pool.  Anyway, Clarence got promoted at work and got right to work on the necessary skills for the next one.  Tracy finally found a job in Natural Science, but she won't be starting until after the baby is born.

Calvin Dreamer (see PV 10/18/20) had a fairly uneventful round.  He slept all day, then invited his sister over for dinner.  He did not find a job in Entertainment, but he won't be able to hold out much longer and will need to take another job if he doesn't find it soon.

Happy Simming!

Wednesday, December 16, 2020

Pleasantview 12/16/20

Nerissa Gregory and Rose Dai (see PV 10/16/20) got married this round.  I don't know if that was a stellar idea, given that they are both working on the "20 Lovers" LTW, but we'll see how it goes.  While Rose was at work, Nerissa invited over some friends for brunch (she hooked up with Rebecka Alpha, adding another conquest to her tally).  Rose didn't have the opportunity to go out on the prowl because she was too tired from work.

Moving Downtown, Jan Tellerman (see PV 10/16/20) spent her day off making candies on her chocolate machine; she earned two of the three cooking points she needs for her next promotion.  Later she went out with some friends and came home exhausted.  Next round she'll head back to work as well as become an elder.

At the House of Fallen Trees (see PV 10/17/20), Maura went off to her first day of work in the Law career and got promoted right away.  When night fell, she continued working on her skills.  Matthew FINALLY found a job in Criminal after midnight.  He'll be starting work next round as a bank robber.  He only needs one more skill point, but I think friends is going to be a problem because they don't get out much.  The kids went to school, did homework, and then had to fend for themselves for dinner since the butler didn't see fit to order any groceries and therefore could not prepare dinner.  Trinity ordered a grocery delivery and made mac and cheese for the bunch before they all went off to bed at 2:00 a.m.

Happy Simming!

Tuesday, December 15, 2020

Pleasantview 12/15/20

Heather Huffington and Martin Ruben (see PV 10/15/20) had an uneventful round.  They both worked, but no promotions.  I had intended for them to have a party, but Martin was exhausted by the time he got home, and then Heather had to leave for work and she was too tired upon returning home, so it just didn't work out.

The Rubens (see PV 10/15/20) both worked this round.  Tiffany got promoted, Joshua didn't.  Joshua also did not find a job in Dance, though at least he's gaining a lot of body points in Athletic which will translate well to Dance when he eventually switches.

Nick Broke and Yvette Kim (see PV 10/15/20) decided to grow their family this round by having a baby.  They may need to start shopping around for a new place though because the two-bedroom apartment they're renting is not nearly big enough.  I forgot to have Yvette look for her job after midnight, but will have her check first thing next round.

Happy Simming!

Monday, December 14, 2020

Pleasantview 12/14/20

The Ramirezes (see PV 10/13/20) struggled through another round.  Christy still didn't get promoted, but at least they were able to bring home two paychecks without having to pay a nanny since Rusty was in school.  However, helping Rusty with his school work cut into Christy's time for her own studies, so she didn't get much done on her degree.

It was a good day for Orlando Bertino (see PV 10/14/20).  He finished his degree and the corresponding income (from the novel) will allow him to pay the rent next round.  Teri had some friends over to play and then grew into a teen.  I don't know her LTW just yet, as she didn't sleep long enough to roll it (between being sick and the neighbors making noise, she kept waking up), but we'll see next round.

It was another great day for the Phillippines (see PV 10/14/20).  Erin took another vacation day, while Clarence went to work and got a promotion.  Since his new shift is at night, he ended up going back to work later on, bringing in a second paycheck in addition to his bonus.  Crystal grew into a child and her parents outfitted her room with the castle style.  Now that Crystal is starting school and Clarence is working opposite to her, Erin will finally be able to get back to work next round.

Renaud Delarosa and Brooke Lawson (see PV 10/15/20) both worked today, though only Brooke got promoted.  Renaud, despite having all the skills needed and always going to work in a good mood, seems to just have really bad luck in the career department because he rarely gets promoted and often gets demoted via chance cards.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/13/20

Jace and Nancy Rusewicz (see PV 10/12/20) both had the day off.  Jace spent time skilling for his job and had some friends over in the evening.  Nancy mostly cleaned up after everyone and had a long rest.  They don't have much money, but I was able to add on a small bedroom for Marshall.  Both girls wanted a kitten, so they adopted Seeley to keep Tempe company.

Calista Copur (see PV 10/13/20) had the day off and absolutely nothing to do.  She chatted with some people via phone and computer, played guitar and violin, and took a long nap.

Frances Worthington (see PV 10/13/20) was finally able to welcome his bride home.  He and Marion were wed immediately.  Though Frances still didn't find an Athletic job, he did get promoted in Culinary.  Marion found her Slacker job after midnight and is ready to get started.

Almeric Davis and Anna Lawson (see PV 10/13/20) welcomed their first child this round - Hope.  Luckily Almeric's boss's cousin came through with the promotion because they needed that money to outfit the nursery.  Anna will take vacation time to care for the baby, since Almeric hasn't earned any yet.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/12/20

Zena Dreamer (see PV 10/11/20) was due for a date this round.  Unfortunately she chose Evan Broke to be that date.  To refresh your memory, Evan Broke is recently divorced for the second time, living with the woman he was cheating on his wife with, has four kids, and is unemployed.  He's not exactly a good catch, but inspires massive amounts of chemistry with women, which is how he got where he is now.  As much as I hate to watch Zena go down yet another disastrous romantic path, I kind of want to see what happens as well.  And it's not as though she has very many other options anyway.  At least the platinum mood from their dream date got her a promotion at work.

It was Saturday in the Mazza/Gergis household (see 10/12/20), so Marie decided to throw a birthday party for baby Theo.  Andrew works nights, so he wasn't there for the party, which is probably a good thing considering most of Marie's "friends" are of the "with benefits" variety.  Everyone was on their best behavior, however, and the party was a success, with little Theo aging up to toddler.

Brittany Long (see PV 10/12/20) was laser focused on school this round.  She finished the second part, as well as the third part, and started on the fourth and final part of her degree.  Once she finishes the regular degree, she'll still need a masters for Education, but she'll be able to take a job in Education and start working her way up while doing her masters.  While she was doing that, Cole invited over some friends for an outing, took care of the kids and pets, and cleaned up a little.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/11/20

Delia Ottomas (see PV 10/9/20) threw a party to celebrate the twins' birthday.  She had to go to work as soon as they aged up, but they got to spend some time with their grandparents and some other relatives before they got too sleepy.  (Their father and sister left almost immediately for some reason.)  It'll be a much calmer household with no toddlers in the family.  Delia may actually be able to go to work in a good enough mood to finally get promoted to level 2 of her job!  Fingers crossed!

Lois Tellerman (see PV 10/10/20) is getting used to being a single mom.  She had the day off, which she spent taking care of her newborn and doing household chores.  Gail wanted a womrat, so Lois let her get one.  In the evening she invited some friends over for dinner, only to realize she had nothing in the fridge.  She remedied the situation by ordering pizza, but by the time it arrived, the outing was nearly over.  Her friends left hungry and annoyed.  Better luck next round, Lois.

At the Ottomas/Broke house (see PV 10/11/20) everyone had the day off.  Trudi finished the first part of her online degree and started on the second.  Russell worked on his a bit, but didn't finish.  Logan had an outing with his daughter Claire and a couple of other friends.  Gigi really wanted a puppy, since one of their dogs died last round.  They named the new little guy Churchill after the cat from Pet Semetary, mistake?  Next round both Kaitlyn and Chip will be aging up.

Claire Tellerman (see PV 10/11/20) slept peacefully while the kids were at school.  When Laura got home she asked Roger Grundstrom on a date at Games of Glory.  They had a very cute first date playing games together.  I hope these two keep going, they're adorable.  Less cute is Claire's decision to have a date with Nick Broke who, while not married, is very much attached to Yvette Kim.  Yvette happens to be the sister of Alon Kim (Claire's baby daddy), who she's still seeing as well, despite him also having a live-in girlfriend.  The end result of the date with Nick was a backseat  hook-up that landed her pregnant.  A baby is just what a single vampire mother of two, with no job and very little money, needs most.  Claire's life is a dumpster fire, lol.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/10/20

Goopy GilsCarbo (see PV 10/9/20) ran into some career trouble this round when a bad chance card got him demoted.  Because of the demotion, he ended up going back to work in the evening in a bad mood and consequently did not get promoted back to his original level.  Allyn had the day off and spent it taking care of the kids, while also trying to clean the house and work on her mechanical skill.  On top of that, she's also sick, which made everything that much harder.  Even so, she did manage to earn one mechanical point and most of a second, plus she got the bathroom clean, which wasn't bad actually.  The twins had a friend over and mostly took care of themselves, luckily for Allyn.  In other news, the relationship between Goopy and Allyn is getting shaky.  Maybe it's the pressure of balancing work/home life, or the fact they hardly see each other with their work schedules, or Goopy's complete lack of faithfulness.  Whatever the reason, next round will be crucial in determining their fate as a couple.

Jonah Powers (see PV 10/9/20) had the day off and decided to throw a party.  He invited several of his close friends, as well as Tamara and a couple of people he was close to being friends with.  He's not rich, so he got a keg and made grilled cheese.  Turns out his friends are easily entertained because the party was a hit.  He didn't manage to make any new friends out of it, but a good time was had by all.

The Gothiers (see PV 10/9/20) welcomed a baby boy this round.  His name is Anton.  Orlando got demoted at his job, unfortunately, but tried to make lemonade out of lemons by inviting over some friends.  Only two of them could make it, but it was better than nothing.  Marla worked on the logic points she needed for work, even though she won't likely be going to work anytime soon since she's the only one with any vacation days at the moment and they really can't afford a nanny.

Pleasantview 12/9/20

The Copurs (see PV 10/7/20) had a pretty normal day.  Annabeth worked and Dom had the day off.  They had a little scare during a thunderstorm in the afternoon where a tree caught fire and almost burned up the maid who was trying to sweep the still-flaming ashes, but it worked out.  Annabeth was the first sim to try out my newly revised outing system, and ended up going out with her six closest friends (two of whom were not yet quite friends).  It went well, but she didn't make friends with the two, which is unfortunate because she really needs to boost her friend count for work.

Moving over to Pleasant Valley, first up we have Amar Bigfoot (who is living in the Traveller house - see PV 10/8/20).  I got to see something I'd never seen before in game, which was exciting for me.  When a burglar showed up on the lot, Amar immediately woke up and went downstairs to "scare burglar".  I didn't even know that was a thing!  Anyway, it worked because the burglar ran off without stealing a thing.

Darcy Broke (see PV 10/8/20) had a date with her ex-husband AJ Broke, but decided against moving in together (really rare for a Family sim).  She must really not want to revisit her marriage.  Anyway, they had their date at the fitness hobby lot, which worked out well for Darcy, since she's been wanting to "get fit" recently.  She nearly got all the way to fit before sunset at the gym, but had plenty more time at home since it was still night, so finished it up there.  Now she wants 10 body points, so I guess she's committed to a healthy lifestyle now.

Aiyana Gray (see PV 10/8/20) got a promotion at work, aged up to elder, and had an outing with Toby Bruenig, who she's recently become romantic with.  We'll see how that goes.  Michael stayed home sick from school, but helped out a lot despite that.  He took care of Harper and fixed the kitchen sink.  Jeannie helped out as well when she got back from her job.  She cleaned up the kitchen, but refused to touch the disgusting bathroom.  Dante kind of just did his own thing; no one had much time for him unfortunately.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/8/20

Luc Young (see PV 10/6/20) took the day off to work on skilling (he has the max skills LTW).  His kids came over for their college payout and were kind enough to keep dirtying the toilet so he could clean it over and over for a cleaning point that he didn't quite get.  He did, however, get a cooking and a mechanical point during the day, so it wasn't a total bust.

The Carrs (see PV 10/6/20) didn't have too much going on.  Joe got a promotion at work; he's already got the skills for the next promotion as well.  Marion had the night off.  Kiara (the cat) also got promoted and I think she just needs one more to top the career, which should fulfill Marion's LTW.

Elise Bruty (see PV 10/7/20) had an uneventful day.  She went to work, worked on skills, and went to bed.

Since we last caught up with Brandon Tellerman (see PV 10/7/20) his son Bruce has moved back in with him after ending his marriage.  He's not bothered by it at all; they're two peas in a pod really.  Brandon had his first day of work in the Education career and he got promoted right away.  Bruce was short a creativity point so he did not get promoted, but he did get the point later on, so he'll be ready when he returns to work...eventually (he has the next three days off).

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/7/20

The round Chloe and Christian Cox (see PV 10/5/20) decided to give Phoebe a sibling.  Baby Cox is on the way.  Christian got his final promotion at work to Chief of Staff, completing his LTW.  His new want is to become a Journalist (it fits, I think, because maybe he'll write medical journals or something), but he'll be using up his vacation time before starting his new career.  That'll give Chloe a chance to work on her career, if she's ever not pregnant long enough to actually go to work, lol.  In other news, Phoebe grew into an adorable toddler, who looks exactly like her parents and probably her future sibling(s) as well, since Chloe and Christian both have the same coloring, the same eye color, and the same hair color.

Ty Bubbler (see PV 10/5/20) had a great round!  He didn't find a Music job, but he dutifully went off to his Culinary job, where he was promoted.  Upon returning home, he went right to bed.  A few hours later, I heard the burglar music.  Since the lot is so large, the burglar didn't even have time to get into Ty's apartment before the police arrived and apprehended him.  And Ty got a $500 reward for helping to catch the thief!  He has almost enough money to pay his rent now.  It probably won't get paid on time, but I think he just might avoid eviction.

If you are Andrew Ottomas (see PV 10/5/20), and you're 75, married to a vampire who can't be up during the day, have one son in college and twins in high school, what is the next logical step?  I'll tell you what it's not...have another baby!  Yet that is exactly what Andrew and Kaylynn have decided is a good idea.  Even though it's unlikely that Andrew will live to see this baby start school...and Kaylynn will not be able to take care of it during the daytime...and the twins will be out of the house basically by the time the baby is born.  It'll definitely be interesting though.  Maybe Kaylynn will remarry, or maybe David will return home after college and help out.  Who knows?  Stay tuned.

Ryan Jacquet (see PV 10/6/20) went out to his hobby lot in the morning and managed to made friends with the lot director.  Sadly, she dropped out of friendship range that afternoon while Ryan was at work, leaving him right where he started at 2 charisma points and 3 friends short of a promotion.  Maybe he should greet some walkbys?

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/6/20

Another quiet day at the Lothario/Bertino home (see PV 10/4/20).  Jace invited his friend Mia over for an outing, but she had to leave almost immediately.  She did come back a little later, so I don't know.  When Charles woke up, he also invited a friend, Eric Parker.  Jace and Charles had an argument, but they made up later after everyone had left.

Rebecca Larson (see PV 10/4/20) had an outing with three men, all of whom she has significant boltage for.  Two of them left early, so she had a dream date with the remaining guy.  Andrea had some of her vampire friends over, but mostly ignored them to play piano all night.

Florence Delarosa (see PV 10/5/20) did what she does every day: gardened, hung out with her son, played with her cats, and went to bed.

Pretty blah sims today, but tomorrow should be more interesting I hope.  Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/5/20

Miley Futa (see PV 10/4/20) invited her sister Amelia over this round.  I'm glad because it might be the last time they get to spend together since they're both nearing the end of their lives.  Apart from that, she did a little financial consulting and was obsessed with the ballet barre instead of the stationary bike.

Tanya Grundstrom (see PV 10/4/20) became Tanya Ottomas after all this time when she and Landon decided to get married.  I thought about having a big wedding, followed by the camping trip they've both wanted for a long while, but neither of them is feeling all that well, so I just did a quick ceremony.  I'll plan a larger trip later, maybe with all their kids/grandkids?  In other news, Jonathan went out with his good friend Carter Broke, presumably to scope out some ladies.  However, despite the teenaged cashier who was working, not a single female appeared on the lot the entire time they were there.  It was just one huge bro-fest, lol.  Better luck next time, guys.

Cynthia Picaso (see PV 10/4/20) had the day off and spent it skilling for her job.  Stuart took his son Oliver out to one of his hobby lots to spend some quality time together, then came home to skill for his LTW of "max all skills".  This is a fairly calm household, though with all the plant sims they sometimes forget about feeding Oliver and the pets.  Luckily Oliver is old enough to get snacks on his own and fill the pet bowls from time to time.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/4/20

Tammy Ottomas and Griff Schehl (see PV 10/2/20) both had the day off.  Tammy spent the day gardening and getting to know her new cat.  Griff was pretty tired, but managed to squeeze in some skilling.  Parker rolled the want to go to private school, but unfortunately there's no room there at the moment.  In the wee hours of the morning Griff gave birth to an alien baby girl named Beth.

Marylena GilsCarbo (see PV 10/2/20) had an uneventful round.  She spent the day working on her latest car, but didn't finish it.  Adam got a promotion at work and spent time working on charisma when he got home.  Garrett took a day off from school to veg on the couch and play video games.

Margaret Dreamer (see PV 10/3/20) had an outing with her good friend Lynn Tinker, then later in the evening she had a date with a townie who happened to walk by, but it wasn't a dream date so didn't help her LTW.

I had Isabella Landgraab (see PV 10/3/20) wake up a bit early so she could call in the garden club during daylight hours.  Tiffany Zarubin showed up and Isabella ran out to greet her and then went back inside.  I couldn't really remember how the process worked, so I waited a while to see what Tiffany would do.  She shot some hoops and then took a bath in the dog's outdoor bathtub.  As night was falling I noticed some weeds at the side of the house, so I had Isabella pull those.  Since Tiffany had not even looked at the garden, I clicked on her and saw an option to ask for a garden club membership, so I figured that must be how to start the process.  However, Isabella immediately dropped the interaction and was unable to further interact with Tiffany.  Eventually Tiffany disappeared.  I thought maybe the fact that it was night when Isabella tried to talk to her might have been the problem, so first thing in the morning I had Isabella invite her again.  This time she couldn't even greet her and Tiffany immediately left.  I guess this process is glitched somehow, at least in this neighborhood, so Isabella will have to make friends on her own.

The Deppiesse/Radcliffe household (see PV 10/3/20) was fairly quiet.  It was Saturday and James worked all day while Evelyn slept and Julie entertained herself.  James got a promotion and brought a friend home from work, who he hung out with for a while before going to sleep.  Julie worked on teaching the dog some skills he needs during the day and Evelyn picked up the training after Julie went to bed.  Evelyn still has not found an Adventure job.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/3/20

Grace Butler (see PV 10/1/20) struggled through another day without making much progress.  The three older kids went to school and she worked on potty training Charity and cleaning up some of the pet messes before she had to call in the nanny and go off to work.  I had hoped the nanny might clean up a bit, but that was too much to ask, I suppose.  She spent the last three hours before Grace returned home just putting the baby in and out of the high chair.  Grace invited her dad over, but didn't have much energy for him.  He spent some time with the kids though.  After sleeping for a couple hours, she got back up with Charity, had some coffee and managed to unclog both the downstairs toilets, mop up all the puddles left by the puppy, and get breakfast on the table.  She'll have next round off and no outings scheduled, so maybe she'll actually have time to work on skills or her LTW.

The Larsons (see PV 10/2/20) welcomed a baby boy named Cody this round.  While Alicia was giving birth Craig was on the computer looking for a job, and he finally found Military!  It was a pretty good day for them.  I was a little annoyed with Craig during the day, however, because he refused to stay in his coffin for more than an hour at a time.  He pulled through, but I hope he gets better at being a vampire soon.

AJ Broke (see PV 10/2/20) ranked his cafe up to level 5 this round.  In addition, Xander earned a promotion.  Sadly, AJ's old dog died.  At the end of the round, Lucas moved back in and gave his brother and company the boot.  They'll be moving downtown into the recently vacated penthouse at Cornerstone Condos.  After their departure Lucas adopted an adult cat and a kitten to keep him company in his mansion.  He was also lucky enough to find a job in Journalism which he will start next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/2/20

You may recall that since the last time Dylan Broke was played (see PV 10/1/20) he and Claire Deppiesse (the mother of his twin sons) reunited and moved in together.  They realized that was a mistake pretty quickly.  Both had other love interests who just happened to stop by, and I let them stay because I like to see if sims will blow up their own lives sometimes.  It was only a matter of time before they did just that.  Some kissing happened, some slapping occurred, and their relationship went down in flames.  Of course, then I had to figure out where to actually move Claire.  She wouldn't want to move back in with her daughter, who she doesn't get along with, and her beau's household is already full, so I decided she could move in with her very close friend Tosha Go.  Tosha has plenty of room for Claire and her dog Zoey who is expecting puppies.  Next round it'll be just Dylan and Carter on their own again.

And finally Sarah Goth returned home to Goth Manor (see PV 10/1/20) where I wasted no time in getting her married to her sort of cousin Nathaniel.  He took her name to keep the Goth name intact and they immediately tried for baby (successfully).  I thought it was endearing that both Sarah's father Victor and her grandmother Cassandra came out for the wedding.  Baby Goth will be due in a few days.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 12/1/20

The Jones/McCullough family (see PV 9/29/20) were all scheduled for outings this round.  I wasn't feeling like having them go out four times, so I invited their friends over all at once.  That didn't really work out that well, considering Darlene invited Charlene, who doesn't get along with Audrey.  They spent the whole time fighting, which left Audrey's friend (Tess) neglected.  Ryker's friend Victor seemed the most offended, however, calling Ryker "deranged".  Apart from all the disastrous outings though, things ran smoothly.  Audrey got a promotion, Darlene adopted a kitten (they now have 2 dogs and 2 cats), and Phil got his wish to become a werewolf.

This round the Pearsons (see PV 9/30/20) were stuck in a never ending cycle of feeding, potty training, bathing, and putting toddlers to bed.  The twins are on opposite sleep cycles, so as soon as one is put down, the other one is up.  They managed to squeeze in a little time teaching them to walk, but neither has yet finished that skill.  In addition to that, Luke had to invite Arthur over for his college money, sell the cat that grew up, and get a new puppy.  Juliet got no attention this round, I'm afraid.  Good thing she's a pretty independent child.  Amelia is a real trooper helping out with all the toddler care at her advanced age of 76.  I don't know how Luke would manage without her, yet she'll have to die in order for Delia and the rest of his kids to move in.  Catch 22.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/30/20

Tosha Go (see PV 9/27/20) slept all day, fed and played with her kitten, and spent the rest of night dancing to the stereo.  Next.

The Smiths (see PV 9/28/20) got their cat back this round, thanks to Wanda winning a cooking contest and Amar getting a promotion at his teen job.  Gabe was set for a promotion, but a bad chance card caused him to lose two logic points that he needed, so he had to spend his evening stargazing to try to regain them.  It was Ruby's birthday today as well.  She grew into an adorable toddler.

Katie Tellerman (see PV 9/28/20) didn't have a lot going on this round now that she's retired.  She has the new puppy her brother gave her and she spent some time teaching the other dog a skill for her job.  She invited some of the older kids over, which was nice for Sean because he's pretty lonely being the only child still at home.  He'll become a teen soon though, so hopefully his social life will pick up.

Patrick Davison (see PV 9/28/20) met his maker this round.  He had a nice last round, an outing with a friend followed by one last shift at work from which he brought a friend home.  He died immediately after returning home from work.  Grimm hung out chatting with Patrick's work friend for a while before heading out.  RIP Patrick.

All the Alphas (see PV 9/29/20) worked today; for Rebecka it was her first day as a Criminal.  Afterwards, they had several friends/relatives over and Bryan went out to a club searching for a hookup.  He chatted up Claire Ottomas for a while, but she left abruptly.  Erin Phillippine shut him down immediately, after which he managed to get to crush status with a townie woman, but then she left as well.  He ended up going home alone, but called up "the slob", who he'd met previously, and invited her over for the night.  That makes 6/20 woohoos for Bryan, so he still has a ways to go.

A lot was going on this round with the Grundstroms (see PV 9/29/20).  First Marcus and Melody decided to have another baby.  Their attempt was successful.  As soon as the kitten grew up, I had Toby try to breed them, but the option was not available, despite there being room in the household, which leads me to believe that Marcus and Melody are expecting twins.  Like I said, anytime there's no space/money for twins...  Anyway the problem was resolved later on when, as suspected, Toby and Dagmar broke up and she moved out, leaving Roger in Toby's custody.  Toby immediately bred the cats with no problem and they'll be expecting a litter of (probably only one, since that's all there's room for) kittens in a couple days.  Dagmar's departure left her small attic room empty, so I moved baby Lucas (who grew into a toddler this round) in there.  This house is literally bursting at the seams and, consequently, I don't think Toby will live long enough to realize his LTW of raising 20 kittens, since he's only at 15 right now and appears to have less than a week more to live.  Btw, Dagmar will be moving downtown to a small rental house; we'll hear from her again next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/29/20

Megan Broke and her son Travis (see PV 9/26/20) had an uneventful round.  Megan worked, but she's short a friend, so no promotion.  Travis failed to find a job in Slacker, but spent some time hanging out with his twin brother Jason.  Megan invited her sister over for a late night movie marathon.  Travis met a townie walkby, but they weren't that keen on one another.

I'm very sad to report that Jessie Larson (see PV 9/27/20), one of my most beloved sims, has finally passed on at the age of 83.  She spent her final day relaxing at home with her family.  She is survived by her three younger siblings, Drake, Celeste, and Sasha, her five children, Mason, Daniel, Brianna, Brooke, and Alyssa, as well as eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  She will be missed.  In the event of her passing, the gallery became Daniel's, which is what I wanted, given his LTW.  In preparation, he promoted Lisa to manager at the bookstore and hired a second employee to train up as the next manager once Lisa retires/dies.  He'll split his time between the two businesses and in his spare time (when will that be?) he'll have to take up pottery to keep the gallery stocked with those items.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/28/20

Jonathan and Demi Greaves (see PV 9/25/20) had another stress-free round.  They had enough money to pay everyone's college funds and between Jonathan's income, Demi's promotion, and Kylie's teen job income and scholarships, they were able to raise enough money to send Kylie to private school.  She will be filling the last available slot at Briarwood, which means no one else this round will be able to attend.  However, we will have some students graduating next round, so that's only temporary.

This round Hailey Cox and Evan Dreamer (see PV 9/26/20) joined the many other couples in Pleasantview and got married.  They're still fairly broke, however, which was not improved by Evan's failure to achieve the needed skills for a promotion.  Hunter invited over Cybil Fancey for an outing, which went well for a while, but then they started fighting and now they pretty much hate each other.  Boo.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/27/20

Tosha Futa (see PV 9/24/20) had the day off, so she spent the day trying (and failing) to recover from the mysterious disease.  Her son Blake also stayed home from school, dropping his average down to a C.  I guess he's decided to start his delinquency early.

Naomi Landgraab (see PV 9/25/20) ran her business and then later in the evening she gave birth to a daughter who, as previously mentioned, she had decided to give up.  Holly and Mallory made quite the opposite decision and adopted another child, who will arrive next round.  Both the pets grew up and Holly traded them in for new ones.  Mallory did not get promoted and didn't have time to work on her degree with everything that was going on.  Maybe next round will be a little calmer.

In a surprise twist, Solveig Bachman and Ratna Platz (see PV 9/25/20) got hitched.  I didn't think this would ever happen, but the new rule set seems to be encouraging more weddings.  In any event, it was a small affair, as Ratna has no family.  Solveig invited her other two children and a couple of people came home from work with them and stayed for the party.  In other news, Todd got promoted and had an outing with a friend.

Lakshmi Broke (see PV 9/25/20) had a lot going on this round, despite having the day off.  She spent most of the day carrying toddlers up and down the stairs to feed/change/put them to bed.  In between toddler care, she had to feed all the animals and bathe the dogs, plus invite Tyler over for college money.  In addition, everyone in this household grew up this round.  Ricky became a teen (LTW: 20 Lovers) and the twins became children.  Lakshmi herself became an elder.  She was so busy she never had time for the outing she was supposed to have, but luckily next round should be a lot calmer with no more toddlers and the fact that Lakshmi will be taking vacation time for the foreseeable future, so maybe we'll be able to squeeze it in.  With Austin's recent death, there's not husband #4 on the horizon, so she may be flying solo for a while.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/26/20

The commune (see PV 9/23/20) continued the trend from last round and the residents worked on some different activities.  Lynn was especially interested in pottery and sewing.  A few walkbys showed up and hung out for a bit.  Julien and Chelsea are not getting along after Chelsea saw Julien and Lynn kissing.  I thought it would be over at 6 pm, but much to my surprise, Chelsea made it through another day.  She's now 78 and it's looking like she and Julien might both die next round, even though he's 10 days younger.  But there will be another day of slaps and attacks to get through.

Lisa and Shawn Wong (see PV 9/23/20) both had the day off, so Lisa spent her time doing household chores and financial consulting.  Shawn had the want to adopt another puppy, so they did.  He immediately rolled the want for another, but I decided he could wait until these two grow up and breed them.

River Todd (see PV 9/23/20) had another day off.  He'll take his last vacation day next round and begin looking for a job in Criminal.  Meadow worked, but has still not got those logic points she needs, so no promotion.  In other news, the couple surprised me by deciding to have another baby (odds are stacked against River ever purposely choosing to have a baby).  Stone will be a teen by the time the baby's born, so hopefully he'll be a big help to his mom, especially if his dad gets that Criminal job.

Sasha Dreamer (see PV 9/24/20) actually had a lovely day.  The guys worked (both got promoted), while Donna slept and Sasha took care of April.  Orlando topped his career, which means he can now switch to his LTW career of Law Enforcement.  However, he doesn't have a high school diploma, so he'll need to earn his GED before he can take the new job.  In the evening, April grew into a toddler and Sasha is hanging in there at 78 days.  Next round may be her last.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/25/20

There wasn't much happening at the Dreamer/Alpha residence (see PV 9/22/20).  Drake is retired and spent his day hanging out with his youngest son Jake and his nephew AJ, doing a little gardening, and taking care of the dogs.  Bethany had the day off (she'll be retiring next round) and spent most of her time napping and eating.  Rhonda went to work in the evening and scored a promotion.  She was supposed to have an outing with her friend Chris, but since Chris is a vampire and Rhonda had to work at night, she settled for a phone call when she got home.

The Lotharios (see PV 9/22/20) had another uneventful round.  I decided to have Randy call and check in on the business, since it seems to earn more money that way than when he runs it himself.  Alvin stayed home from school and had a subpar outing with a friend.  Just before the round ended, their dog Rita gave birth to a single puppy called Rosie.

You may recall that Zack Tellerman's (see PV 9/22/20) son died since we last visited.  Maybe that's the reason that he decided to move in one of his lady loves, Tamara Fuchs.  Perhaps he's thinking about all the time he missed out on with Austin when he and Ella split and hoping not to make the same mistake with Joy (his daughter with Tamara), who will be a teen next round.  In any event, moving Tamara and Joy in also means moving in Tamara's other three children and her dog.  There wasn't quite enough room, so I had Zack give his new puppy to his sister Katie.  He hadn't really had time to bond with her yet and Katie has plenty of room, so it seemed like a good plan.  I don't know how well this arrangement will work out.  I mean, Zack has never been the faithful type and Tamara is trying to Woohoo 20 Sims, so it's kind of a recipe for disaster, but I kind of love the drama so we're going with it.  Jenna went date hunting but struck out and had to hurry home before sunrise.  This lot just became a lot more chaotic and probably a lot more fun to play.

Until tomorrow, Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/24/20

Lisa and Tessa Ramirez (see PV 9/21/20) had a routine day.  Lisa went to work at the bookstore and Tessa ran the furniture store.  She got a bad review for some reason; the store was fully stocked and clean at the time, so I don't get it.  Other than that, it was a pretty tame round for these ladies.

Brad Dreamer (see PV 9/21/20) got a promotion at work, finished his masters degree, and earned the skill point needed for his next promotion.  Marvin Gieke is still one friend short of getting promoted and his wife Vyn had the day off.  The couple also discovered, much to their surprise, that they're expecting another baby (or two?), which means they definitely will be moving out at the end of next round.

Wyatt Picaso (see PV 9/21/20) had the day off and spent most of it skilling, though he did take some time to invite over his friend Kirby.  Noelle is still on maternity leave (their child is due next round), so she spent the day with her son and the evening with her friend Lucy before heading off to be early.

That's it for today.  Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/23/20

Tamara Fuchs (see PV 9/20/20) took the day off to stay with Tabitha, while all the other kids went to school.  When the teens returned home, she immediately took off to have an outing with a friend.  While she was there she set her sights on Damion Pearson, though she wasn't able to seal the deal before he had to leave.  Back at home, she went to bed while the kids took care of everything else.  You know, the usual.  Teddy invited a friend, Zaira Jeffress, over which went pretty well.  Parker isn't close enough to anyone to invite them over, so he settled for a phone chat with a girl he knows from school.  In the early morning hours, they finally got around to celebrating Tabitha's child birthday.

Lynn Tinker (see PV 9/20/20) took the day off from her job to run the appliance store she inherited from Stephen.  She had a pretty tough day keeping up with the number of customers for a level 6 business without the benefit of any badges.  She came home exhausted and was happy the nanny was there to care for the children.  Later on the twins grew into toddlers.  I was initially thinking Lynn would hire someone to manage the store so she could continue working her job, but I think, since she's still at the first level and she'll be an elder next round, that I'll just have her spend all her vacation days and then quit to focus solely on the business.  At the end of the round I moved Lynn and her kids out of their tiny apartment and into the house recently vacated by Brittany Korman.  It has four bedrooms and two baths, so it should be more than enough room for three sims and two cats.  She may have to scrimp a little on the other furnishings since the house is completely empty, but in time it'll be quite nice I think.

Toby Bruenig moved into his new place at Pleasant Vista Apartments this round.  He furnished the apartment sparingly so he could afford the tuition for his masters degree.  Since he didn't have to work, he spent his day getting started on his coursework.  He also took some time for skilling; he doesn't need anything for his job, but his LTW is to max all skills.  He got to bed pretty late and had to get up very early for work, so I doubt he'll be bringing home a promotion.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/22/20

The Giekes (see PV 9/19/20) had a lot going on this round.  Eugene and Agnes both got promotions at work.  All three dogs also got promoted; Chica reached the top, bringing Oliver's total to two, and he switched her to a different job.  Phyllis had lame outing with friends (I'd been hoping she'd meet a guy, but no luck).  I sent Myrtle out to snag a new lover, but she got stuck in the photo booth while out and I had to exit without saving, so that was a total bust.  Edgar got all his toddler skills except potty training and Audrey became a toddler.  No one decided to get married or have any more children.

The Brutys (see PV 9/19/20) were fairly chaotic.  Jonah skipped school, bringing his grade down to a C.  Lee went to work, but Paige was home to greet the social worker and welcome their baby girl home.  They named her Bryn.  Lee got a bad chance card which resulted in a demotion, but at least he brought a friend home from work, so that was something.  Nicole wanted the dog to get a job in Showbiz and spent time working on skills with him.  Shay didn't have anything going on apart from school and homework; he'll be growing up next round along with baby Bryn.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/21/20

Everyone in the Todd/Landchild/Butler household (see PV 9/18/20) had the day off again.  Hayden spent the day doing financial consulting and some yard work, while Demi alternated between eating and sleeping.  When Lauren woke up, she invited her witch friend Lakshmi over, but she left almost immediately after being struck by lightning.  In the early morning hours Lauren gave birth to a baby girl who she named Lily.  Demi should deliver next round.

Another uneventful round for Zoe Picaso (see PV 9/18/20).  She was off again and didn't have much on the agenda.  At one point she got a phone call, which I suspect was someone calling about returning her dog, but then Lucy Hanby showed up to shove her for looking at her through the telescope, causing Zoe to hang up the phone prematurely.  Seems unwise on Lucy's part to run across town in the burning sunlight to complain about Zoe looking at what?  The outside of Lucy's coffin?

The Dreamer clan (see PV 9/18/20) made significantly more progress this round.  The cat, Pansy, worked and brought in a little cash, as did Caryl and Ethan, who both got promotions.  Myra sold the cat that grew up, interestingly to her ex-husband Evan.  All that added up to enough money to get Fir back for use in Ethan's LTW of getting pets to top their careers.  They're pretty broke again after that, but hopefully they'll keep moving forward.  Next round Taylor will grow up and the one after Myra's final two puppies will reach adulthood, making her the first sim in Pleasantview to ever complete the LTW to raise 20 puppies/kittens.

Russ Bear (see PV 9/18/20) slept in.  Luckily Robin did too.  When they finally rolled out of bed, they spent the day working on toddler skills until nightfall.  Russ put Robin to bed then called in the nanny before stargazing.  He got abducted almost immediately, but he's too old to get pregnant, so was returned home with nothing to show for his trouble.  He didn't even earn any money from discovering stars or planets.  Better luck next round Russ.

Pleasantview 11/20/20

Kenny Ottomas (see PV 9/16/20) and long-time love interest Ella Ottomas decided to move in together.  They've been avoiding it for a long time, but I guess now that Ella's son died she's thinking about how short life really is (for her at least, Kenny's got eternity) and she doesn't want to waste the time she has left.  I'm just hoping she makes this household a little more fun to play.

Buffy Summers (see PV 9/17/20) was grounded this round after losing a fight last time.  She spent the day gardening and recuperating.  The night was quiet as well; no vamps showed up.

Caryl Tellerman and Scott Landgraab (see PV 9/17/20) got married this round, right before Scott gave birth to an alien son, who they named Dustin.  They converted the closet of Billy's room into a small nursery for the baby; when he gets older they can share.  If they decide to have too many more children, however, they may have to move to a bigger place.  It might work out ok though, because I could move Scott's sister Naomi here.  It'd be a nice little starter house for her.

Alyssa Picaso (see PV 9/17/20) did indeed get her final promotion this round.  Her new LTW is to have 50 dream dates, which means she'll continue working in Culinary until retirement age.  I'm not sure how hard I'll really work on the date thing - it's just so annoying.  Chase spent the day teaching toddler skills to Troy; he now knows how to walk and talk and is not far off on potty training.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/19/20

Orphanage Unit One (see PV 9/16/20) still has six kids.
Anthony Tellerman maintained his A average.  He will graduate next round at which point I will determine where he goes from here.  If he has enough scholarship money to go to college and still wants to go (he doesn't need a degree to be an Athlete), then I'll let him go.  Otherwise, he'll be off to the homeless shelter.
Dale Futa's average climbed to a B and he earned $45 at his job.  He'll also be graduating next round.  His LTW is Law Enforcement, which doesn't require a degree, so he'll be in the same boat as Anthony.
Maya Tellerman decided to skip school and her average dropped to a D- because of it.
Mari Alpha maintained her A- and grew into a teen.  She rolled the LTW for Athletic and also wants a job, which she'll look for next round.
Olivia Landgraab maintained her A- and grew into a teen.  She rolled the 20 Pet Best Friends LTW, so her future is a bit up in the air at the moment.  She may get matched with a career or she may end up in the commune.  We'll just have to wait and see how she develops.
Kyra Broke maintained her B-.  She will become a teen in two days.
Caregiver Michelle is still crushing on Derek, but has not taken the next step yet.

Orphanage Unit Two (see PV 9/16/20) still has two kids.
Jeremy Landgraab has still not attended school yet, so he maintains a C average.  He'll become a teen in five days.
Beck Tellerman will be a child in two days.
Caregiver Merlin continues to follow the path of professionalism.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/18/20

Kirby Bruty and Gladys Yates (see PV 9/15/20) got married this round on the eve of Kirby joining Gladys in elderhood.  Professionally, this round was less successful for Gladys; she got demoted because of a chance card, then had to go back to work where she got promoted.  So she worked two shifts in order to wind up where she started.  Dale got promoted though, so it wasn't a total bust for everyone.  In addition to marriage, Kirby and Gladys made the decision to adopt a child as well.  He/she will arrive next round.  I remodeled the master bedroom so I could squeeze in a tiny new bedroom.  This will be for the new child or Joshua, depending upon gender.

Erik and Tina Swain (see PV 9/15/20) got straight to work on their second child this round.  I guess the house is feeling a bit empty without Katrina.  Erik unfortunately got demoted at work.  Tina got the points needed for her next promotion, so hopefully that'll happen next round.

Amar and Melanie Kim (see PV 9/16/20) had an uneventful round.  Melanie got promoted; Amar did not, but he finally got that creativity point, so he might get promoted next round.

Joe and Sharlene Graham (see PV 9/16/20) welcomed Claire back into their home after her release from prison.  Claire seems to be determined to turn over a new leaf.  She can't take a job in Journalism without a degree and she doesn't even have a high school diploma.  Unfortunately there isn't enough money right now to pay for online classes, so Claire took a job in Culinary.  Both of the younger children grew up, Jessica into a child and Randall into a toddler.  Joe and Sharlene went straight to bed after the birthday celebration, while Claire stayed up all night cleaning up the house and taking care of Randall.  It looks like she really wants to make amends for her past mistakes.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/17/20

Only one update today because it was a long day in the Kim household (see PV 9/15/20).  It was Monday so both Justin's and Alon's businesses had to be run.  The roller rink went smoothly for Justin, but Alon had some problems at the pet store.  The store is actually at level 10, which is great for Alon's LTW, however the current manager has become playable recently and will want to switch jobs in the near future.  Consequently, Alon will need a new manager so that he doesn't have to run the store every day.  He had hired someone a few rounds ago and was training him up to become the new manager, only this round the guy decided to quit, so Alon will either have to try to get him back next round or hire someone else.  Alon will have another business to run next round as well, because he purchased a toy store in Bluewater.  On the personal front, after much deliberation, Justin decided to move one of his lovers in.  Brittany Korman and her daughter Jeannette moved in immediately and Justin converted the unused nursery into a bedroom for the little girl.  Brittany reached the top of Oceanography and then grew into an elder.  Her new LTW is to have 20 best friends, so she'll be taking vacation days until retirement age.  Charlene worked, but was short a logic point, so no promotion.  Several of the dogs got promotions though, thanks to Marcel's tireless training.  Speaking of Marcel, he was thrilled to have a new child living in the household, and they became friends very quickly.  If Justin and Brittany decide to get married, they'll be stepsiblings.  Cool!

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/16/20

Nathan Dreamer (see PV 9/14/20) survived another round!  I love the guy and will be sad to see him go, but I don't have to say goodbye just yet.  Nathan's daughter Alexis and her long-term boyfriend Alvin decided to tie the knot this round.  They invited as many relatives as they could to witness the event.  Nathan was thrilled to spend time with his kids and grandkids.  Sadly the family dog died not long after the ceremony, which kind of put a damper on things.  At least Nathan didn't die as well.

There was much less activity in the Bruty household (see PV 9/14/20) this round.  Thomas had the day off from work and spent it with Eve, Ivy, and Camille.  Noel worked, but didn't get promotion due to lack of friends.  Camille did find a job in Slacker after midnight, so she'll be set to start next round.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/15/20

I only have one update today because it took so long to figure out how to make things work and then to actually play them.  Armando Ottomas (see PV 9/14/20), as you may recall, is a vampire with four children, but only one lives with him (one he doesn't know about, one lives with his mother, and one is at boarding school).  That changed this round when Armando and Nadine Kim decided to move in together.  I spent quite a while weighing the pros and cons involved with either him moving into her penthouse apartment or her moving here to his house.  Ultimately the decision was made that Nadine and her children would move here, which necessitated remodeling to the house.  Nadine has four children herself, three with her ex-husband and one with Armando, though only three live with her (her oldest daughter is at boarding school).  If you kept up with all that, you'll find there are now four children living here with Armando and Nadine - their son Anton, two of Nadine's daughters (Steffi and Monika), and Armando's daughter (Joanne).  You may recall that Armando wanted to send Joanne to boarding school, but couldn't afford to do so last round.  He still does and still can't due to the amount of money spent to remodel the house.  Maybe at some point in the future.  Anton and Steffi both grew into teens this round as well, rolling LTWs of Journalism and 50 First Dates, respectively.  (If you're wondering how Nadine has two children the same age who are not twins, it's because Steffi is adopted.)  This relationship has been on again/off again for so long, I wasn't sure if they'd ever actually decide to make any sort of commitment, but at long last these two are ready to settle down.

Pleasantview 11/14/20

Today we'll visit Aiden Broke (see PV 9/13/20).  Aiden hung out with his brother Dylan and their cousin AJ's cafe for a while, before returning home to invite his kids over.  He also decided to adopt a kitten to keep Ariel company.  He met a walkby that he really hit it off with and the guy gave his number to a friend, so he may be hearing from her soon.  Even though he's rekindled his relationship with Lucy, he decided not to try living together again.  Cara didn't have much going on.  She worked and then hung out with her sister Caryl for a while before going off to bed.

Lucy Hanby (see PV 9/13/20) had an impromptu outing at the music hobby lot with a group of friends, followed by a visit from her best friend, Cynthia Picaso.  It might seem odd that a vampire and a plant sim are best friends, considering they can only get together at night, but they make it work somehow.  Lucy's almost done using up her vacation days, after which she'll be officially retiring.

Lila Ottomas (see PV 9/13/20) spent her day as usual.  She slept all day, had an outing with a friend, and worked on her latest car.  Gavin spent time with his son, had lunch with his friend Geoffrey Ottomas, did some things around the house and in the early morning hours headed out to his farmer's market.  I was so happy when his oranges trees finally produced oranges.  Gavin has had this greenhouse/market for a very long time, yet this is the first time he's had any fresh produce to sell.  Apparently it takes a loooonnnng time for plants/trees to mature when on a community lot, but finally he's able to really stock what I've been wanting since the beginning.  I had him keep the regular grocery bins as well, but added new shelving to display the harvestable items.  Exciting!

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/13/20

Heather Broke (see PV 9/12/20) had yet another day off this round.  She'll get back to work next round thankfully.  You may recall that her boyfriend Evan split from his wife and moved in with her, so this was their first round together as an actual couple.  No talk of marriage yet, but it's early days.  I'm a little concerned that when Heather's daughter, Lexie, was over I learned that Evan has three bolts for her.  That could get awkward in the future.  Hobart and Charlotte did their usual routine, he wrote a restaurant guide while she was sleeping, they had a date after dinner, then she worked on her degree while he slept.

Up next, the Landgraab/Grundstrom household (see PV 9/12/20), where there was a lot going on as usual.  First off, I should note that Shane was unable to move in as planned because there wasn't room in the household, so I moved him to the shelter temporarily.  That will get resolved next round, since Ray and Violet both rolled wants to attend private school, and they could actually afford to send them.  It makes sense for Violet, who is planning a career in Science, but I think Ray's motivation is more about being near Kimberli Cox, who he's crushing on, than preparing for his demanding job in the Entertainment field.  So that means Shane will only need to spend one round at the shelter and then he'll be back home with his family.  In other news, Stephen and Tess made the decision to get married after all these years.  Maybe it's because Stephen is finally realizing that their love is not forever now that Tess is a elder or maybe Tess wants to make sure Stephen gets that life insurance payment after she dies so she'll know her family is taken care of.  Whatever the reason, Tess has at long last officially become Mrs. Landgraab.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/12/20

In Briarwood girls' dorm B (see PV 9/11/20) we have five girls: Caryl Broke, Kimberli Cox, Tina Traveller, Madison Kim, and new student Katrina Swain.  The girls were all pretty studious this round, gaining several skill points each.  Kim and Tina both worked as well.  Katrina is much younger than the other girls, so she's having some of the same issues as Steven.  Next round three of the girls here (Caryl, Kim, and Tina) will be graduating, freeing up a lot of space for new students.

Next we move to the prison (see PV 9/11/20), where we have three inmates: Mason Tellerman, Rosemary Bruty, and Claire Ottomas.  (Shane Grundstrom was paroled last round and will be played in the regular 'hood this round.)  Mason has now served 6 days of his 18 day sentence; he'll be up for parole after 12 days.  Rosemary has the same sentence, but has only served 3 days so far.  Claire finished her sentence this round and was released.  I'll be sending her to college to drop out and grow up, then she'll be moving back home with her mom and stepfather.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/11/20

Today we're continuing with Briarwood and visiting boys' dorm A (see PV 9/10/20), where we have five boys: Jay Broke, Aaron GilsCarbo, Leo and Max Deppiesse, and Julian Delarosa.  Some of the boys (Aaron, Jay, and Max) decided to take the day off from class, resulting in them losing a grade, but they did get a jump on skilling for the day.  The twins were the only ones scheduled for work and since they've both reached the top of their teen job, they could not get promoted.  Next round Jay will be graduating.

In boys' dorm B (see PV 9/11/20) we are still maxed out with: Simon and Teddy Korman, Jake Alpha, Glen Gray, Richard Ottomas, and Steven Ottomas.  Glen was the only one to skip class this round, but he did go to work later and earn a promotion.  Richard also got promoted.  No one else worked.  All the boys spent time skilling, both required and autonomous.  Simon will graduate next round.

Tomorrow we'll visit the final dorm at Briarwood and then we're off to the base 'hood.  Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/10/20

Today we'll visit Casteroff Dorm (see PV 9/9/20), where Dawn Grundstrom and Darius Goss continue to lead separate lives.  They both maintained their 4.0.  Darius finished his junior year.  They both had dates with their significant others, though Darius' went a little more smoothly.  Dawn spent a lot of time going upstairs while her date was coming downstairs, etc.  Neither spent much time talking to anyone else in the dorm, though Dawn must have shared a meal or something with one of the dormie girls, because I noticed she's about a third of the way to friendship with her.  Otherwise it was all skilling and term papers for these two Knowledge sims.

The final dorm in ALT is Mille House (see PV 9/9/20).  There are still just two students here: Savannah Broke and Blake Tellerman.  They both continued to maintain 4.0 GPAs, though it's a bit easier for Blake because he has more skills than Savannah and can jump right into term papers and such.  Like Dawn and Darius, they really don't spend much time socializing with each other or their other dormmates.  They're studious and keep to themselves and their own circle of friends.

Moving on to Briarwood Prep girls' dorm A (see PV 9/10/20), where we still have five girls: Clarissa and Cybil Fancey, Noelle Tellerman, Amy Broke, and Daphne Dreamer.  Everyone went to class except Daphne, who stayed home sick (in fact, they're all sick).  She did some skilling while they were away and then went to her job, where a bad chance card got her fired.  She was able to get a new job later on.  No one else had to work today, so they spent their time skilling, socializing, and resting up from their illnesses.  The Fancey twins are set to graduate next round.  Neither needs a college degree and so far Clarissa hasn't expressed any interest in higher education, though Cybil consistently rolls the want to attend Uni, so she may decide to go.

More Briarwood tomorrow.  Happy Simming!

Monday, November 9, 2020

Pleasantview 11/9/20

Moving on to the Romara Dorm (see PV 9/8/20), we have two students: Lauren Greaves and Jason Broke.  Lauren is a first term sophomore this round and she continued her academic excellence by earning an A+ and maintaining her 4.0 GPA.  She also had a date with her boyfriend Andrew Dreamer, but it didn't go especially well given that she spent most of the date fighting with Lauren Goth.  Andrew was mad and lectured her on her behavior which led to them no longer showing a friend relationship, though she is still in love with him.  Jason is a brand new freshman this term and while he also earned a 4.0, he couldn't even get a date because all the girls he knows are still teens.  He tried asking a dormie out, but she turned him down flat.  Better luck next round guys.

Up next we have Lam Plaza Dorm (see PV 9/8/20), where there are three students residing: Lucas Broke, Gabriella Hamilton, and Jason Fancey.  Lucas had already graduated and was just running out his 9th semester before moving back home.  He earned a few skills and continued to pursue a relationship with Gabi.  He'll be moving back into his mansion and kicking his brother and company out.  Gabi kept her GPA at 4.0, and wants to get engaged to Lucas, however a random interaction with Jason has her crushing on him as well.  Not sure if she's just nervous about Lucas moving back home or what, but it's not likely that any relationship that develops between her and Jason will actually last given the circumstances.  Jason also maintained a 4.0 and decided to go Greek.  He joined NFC and moved to the frat house at the end of the semester when he became a sophomore.  He has the want to fall in love with Gabi, but she'd just be 2 out of 20 for him, so he's definitely not serious about her.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/8/20

Today we're catching up with NFC Frat (see PV 9/7/20), where we still have Andrew Dreamer and Jess Creelman in residence.  Andrew scored an A+, maintaining his 4.0 GPA.  Apart from that, nothing too exciting.  He'll be finishing his junior year next round.  Jess also scored an A+, bringing his GPA up to 3.7. He'll finish his sophomore year next round.  Both are racking up a large amount of student loan debt, though Jess' is much higher due to not having any parents to help out.

Short one today.  Happy Simming!

Saturday, November 7, 2020

Pleasantview 11/7/20

Moving on to ALT, the first household is the Chancellor's Hacienda (see PV 9/7/20), where Sarah Goth graduated last round.  She spent this round painting to earn money for upgrades to the house.  She made a few structural changes before leaving, but didn't add any significant furnishings.  She'll be moving back into the main Goth house after 6 pm since she's already been played this round, and we'll finally be ready to get the next generation of Goths going.

Next up are the Tri-Annyas (see PV 9/7/20), where Sydney Greaves and Alyssa Larson both graduated Summa Cum Laude with perfect 4.0 GPAs.  They both struggled with sickness this round (Alyssa moreso because of her daytime class), but they both made it through.  Sydney managed to convince a dormie to pledge, so hopefully she'll finish her pledge period next round and be ready to move in as Sydney and Alyssa prepare to leave campus.

Happy Simming!

Friday, November 6, 2020

Pleasantview 11/6/20

At Canyon Commons (see PV 9/6/20), we only have two students remaining: Sydney Jacquet and Ray Picaso.  Sydney still managed to maintain her 4.0 GPA despite losing her brother Austin, who she was very close to.  She spent a lot of time crying over her brother's death, but somehow managed to soldier on.  Ray continued on his B student path, earning a B+ this term and bringing his GPA to 3.5.  Now that he's officially a sophomore, he'll be moving to the OHV frat house.

Over at Oasis Dorm (see PV 9/6/20), Claire Carr and her girlfriend Mackenzie made things official, but decided against moving in together just yet.  Claire spent the entire round being very sick with the mysterious disease, yet still earned a B and bumped her GPA up just slightly to 3.0.

Finally we have Desert Dorm (see PV 9/7/20), where there are currently three students: Cord Tinker, his twin Octavius Tinker, and new student Ericka Tellerman.  As you may recall, the twins' father, Stephen, died last round, leaving $10,000 in insurance money for each of them.  That, in addition to their college fund money, and grant money, put them firmly in the black going into their senior years next round.  New student, Ericka, is just starting her college experience.  She's doing very well, snagging a 4.0 GPA right off the bat.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/5/20

Today we'll visit Tri-Fruhm Sorority for the first time.  There are two members here: Claire Dreamer and Katy LeTourneau.  Claire just joined the sorority recently, allowing it to be played now.  This term Claire is a first term sophomore.  She didn't spend much time on her studies, ending up with a C for the semester and bringing her 4.0 GPA down to 3.4.  I guess she's too busy juggling two boyfriends to worry about school.  Next term she'll be finishing her sophomore year.  Katy, as the former placeholder, is a first term freshman this round.  As you may recall, I don't normally allow freshman to live in Greek houses, but I make exceptions for the placeholders.  Katy is a bio major, with the intent to pursue a career in Law Enforcement.  She earned an A+ this term and therefore has a 4.0.  She's dating Tyler Tellerman from Oresha-Hoh-Var.

Speaking of Oresha-Hoh-Var (see PV 9/5/20), they're next.  The frat welcomed a new member, so now they're up to three: Austin Jacquet, Tyler Tellerman, and Brian Ryan.  Austin and Tyler are both first term seniors, while Brian is a first term sophomore.  There wasn't much terribly exciting going on until a few hours before final exams.  All three guys had class at the same time, so as I was fast forwarding I noticed that Brian went to class, but the other two did not.  I slowed down to check why Tyler wasn't going; he was in a good mood, so I assumed it was a routing issue, however by that time it had flipped over to "5 hours until final exam".  I saw that Austin was in a bad mood and decided to check what was going on with him, however just as I was clicking on him, his portrait disappeared.  I found him just in time to witness his death from some type of sickness (it could have been either mysterious disease or food poisoning).  So I guess that's the end of Austin's story.  I'm pretty sad about it because he was a very interesting sim.  I was looking forward to seeing if he'd become Tyler's stepfather.  RIP Austin, you will be missed.  As for the other guys, Tyler earned a B and Brian a C+, bringing their GPAs to 3.5 and 3.0, respectively.  Tyler will graduate next round and Brian will finish his sophomore year.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/4/20

Over at Pinenut Plaza (see 9/4/20) there is only one student now: Blaze Broke.  Blaze is not a stellar student, only earning a C+ this semester, but he's hanging in there.  Next round, he'll be finishing his junior year.  Apart from school, Blaze had a date with Evelyn Deppiesse which went well, but I don't see the relationship going anywhere, given that she's living with someone already.

Moving on to LFT and 134 Aridestra Dr. (see PV 9/5/20), Marion Mendoza spent her final semester working as a bartender, earning just over $1500 which she will take with her as she moves in with fiance Frances Worthington.  She'll also be bringing over $10,000 in student loan debt, but with a LTW for Slacker, she should be able to get promoted through the ranks very quickly so that'll help.  I'm just happy for these two to finally start their lives.  It feels like they've been doing the long distance thing forever.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/3/20

Today we're visiting Landgraab House (see PV 9/4/20) just briefly because the two residents there (Isabelle Greaves and David Ottomas) unexpectedly decided to move in together this round.  Normally I would go ahead and play them where they are and then move them in the following round, but since Isabelle was set to graduate this round and would be unable to move after graduating, I decided to go ahead and move them right away.  They moved to 80 Crumplebottom Drive, which is a pretty big house for two people, but it feels like what David would want, given his penchant for romance.  Speaking of David's LTW, he did manage to add another notch to his bedpost with Jenna Tellerman, who was in his group outing.  Isabelle is still blissfully unaware of David's activities, or maybe she's not given she's still circling her ex as well.  In any event, Isabelle graduated this round with a 3.4 GPA; she'll spend next round working to save money for an apartment.  She doesn't need a masters degree for Athletics.  David was a first term junior this round, so he'll finish junior year next round and then still have several more terms to go before he leaves SSU.  Whether he and Isabelle remain together once she leaves is very much up in the air at the moment.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/2/20 Latte Legacy (+ Round 3)

I don't have a huge update for the Lattes (see PV 9/2/20) because they didn't have anything terribly exciting going on.  Crystal became an elder and Noah graduated from high school and moved out to live with older brother Calvin.  Joy worked a short shift at the cafe and I painted the living room.  Joy and Peter's baby will arrive next round I think.

And now, on to Round 3!

First up, we're visiting SSU and Urele-Oresha-Cham (see PV 9/3/20).  Current residents are Ross Grundstrom and Jordan Hanby.

Ross had a pretty good round.  He had some good outings with friends/family, did his term paper which earned him an A+ for the semester, and completed the first half of his junior year.  I am a little disappointed that he doesn't seem particularly interested in befriending Jordan.  He's very selective I suppose.

Jordan is new to fraternity life, but so far the only difference between living in the frat house and living in the dorms, is that it's messier here and there are fewer sims to talk to.  To be fair, he didn't try to talk to Ross either, so I don't know if they'll ever become friends.  Jordan was less studious, finishing the first semester of his sophomore year with a B+, which is still perfectly respectable.

That's it for today.  Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 11/1/20 (+Alpha Legacy)

Sage Dreamer (see PV 8/31/20) didn't have a lot going on this round.  She got a promotion at work and did some subsequent skilling, but didn't have any outings.

Charles Grundstrom (see PV 8/31/20) got promoted at work, while his girlfriend Chloe took a vacation day to care for the baby.  Next round, they'll both have to work and will have to call in the dreaded nanny.  She's so annoying with babies, just feeding them constantly and leaving bottles everywhere, but what else can they do?

Alan Korman (see PV 8/31/20) had a great round.  He got a promotion at work and then went on a date with townie Edith Gast.  The date ended as a dream date, which put Alan in a great mood for skilling and finishing that masterpiece he's been working on.

For the Alphas (see PV 9/1/20) it was Sunday, so they continued crafting and restocking in preparation for the business opening next round.  It was also oldest child (and heir) Danica's teen birthday.  She rolled Pleasure/Family and will be assigned to flower making.  She'll need to be on the lookout for a townie with a "D" name to marry.  In other news, the puppy Coral grew into an adult dog and was able to try for puppies with Chance.  The puppies will arrive Wednesday morning by my calculations.  I really hope they look like their mother and not their freakishly ugly father.  I'm so sick of looking at these hideous dogs.

Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 10/31/20

Happy Halloween!  Today we're playing the homeless shelter (see PV 8/31/20).

Melissa Fancey and her kids had a great round.  It started with the kids inheriting some money from Stephen Tinker, who they befriended when he lived at the shelter.  Melissa had an early morning shift and came home with a promotion.  After school, Dalton went off to his first shift, bringing in a little more money.  Cheyenne is unable to get a job because her grades are too low.  However, because of the promotion, Melissa had another shift at night and she got promoted again!  Altogether they brought in over $1300.  I'd like them to save a little bit more before moving out, but I think they'll be ready in the next few days.

Ricky Cormier did not find a job in Culinary, but worked his Adventure job, bringing home a paycheck which is better than nothing.  He won't be leaving anytime soon.

Alvin Broke is new here, having just been released from prison recently.  Since Criminal is his LTW, he went straight after a job in Criminal again, getting it and working his first shift.  He's unlikely to save up much money before being arrested, so he'll probably be headed right back there in the near future.

Monica Bratford also worked her first shift in Criminal this round.  She has a slightly better chance of earning enough money for legal fees (especially if she gets promoted), but it doesn't look good for her either.

Andrzej Greaves had the day off from work, which did not help his situation at all.  He's also sick with a mysterious disease and his life bar is creeping steadily closer to the end.  Sunshine and roses, really.

Jessie Pilferson did not find the Music job she wants, but she did get promoted in her Show Business job, so that's something positive.

Max Flexor unfortunately got demoted due to a bad chance card.  Better luck next round, Max.

Moon Broke had the day off from her Gamer job and wasn't able to find Dance in the paper.  She just hung out with Andrzej all day.

That's all for the homeless shelter.  Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 10/30/20

Morgan Alpha (see PV 8/30/20) had an uneventful day.  She worked, looked for the job of her choice (didn't find it), and had her first pop.

Greg and Martin Dreamer (see PV 8/30/20) had an equally uneventful round.  Greg had the day off and didn't find a job in Entertainment.  They both spent most of the their time hanging out on the rooftop or playing games on the computer.

Ashley Pitts (see PV 8/30/20) worked all day then headed out to the club.  He chatted up a couple of ladies, but ultimately struck out.  Better luck next round, Ash.

Jared Starchild (see PV 8/31/20) scored a promotion at work and then had a first date with Tosha Go.  They ended up with a "great" rating and both in crush.  I think this might end up being a good match, as they're both Family sims.  Apart from work and his date, Jared also decided to adopt a dog.

Jimmy Phoenix (see PV 8/31/20) went to work and earned a much needed promotion this round, while Allegra took a vacation day to stay home with the twins.  That night while Jimmy slept, Allegra found the job she's been waiting for...as a Criminal.  I'm sure she thinks this will help her little family, but in all likelihood it will destroy it.  Since they don't have enough money to pay good attorneys, Allegra will likely be locked up before long, leaving Jimmy on his own with the kids.

Bryce Futa (see PV 8/31/20) spent most of the day sick in bed, but rallied enough to go off to work in the afternoon.  It paid off because he earned a promotion.  Upon returning home, he rolled the want to study physiology, which is pretty smart for someone working in Athletic, so I let him do it.  As a result, he didn't have time to actually earn the body point he needs, but it'll only take a few seconds to do that before work next round, so I think he's covered.  He still hasn't saved enough to start his GED, but one more promotion will likely do it.

Happy Simming!
