Moving on to Downtown...
Xander and Gloria Goss (see PV 6/3/25) decided, at long last, to start their family. Unfortunately, Xander got a bad chance card at work and lost his job not long after the lullaby sounded. Luckily, Gloria makes good money, even on maternity leave, so they should be ok. Xander was unable to find Journalism again, but he'll keep searching.
Jan Tellerman's (see PV 6/4/25) day started off badly. Her butler, for some reason, called the police when he arrived, and it ended up costing Jan a $500 fine, since there was no emergency. After that, Jan went to work, where she got a bad chance card that cost her $20,000 and two logic points; consequently, she did not get her promotion. Upon returning home, she fired the butler and hired a maid instead, had her daughter Teri over for a bit, and was invited out for drinks with some friends. Since AJ Broke was hanging out in her apartment when she got the call to go out, she asked him to join her. Things got pretty steamy between Jan and AJ during the outing and they sealed the deal upon returning to the apartment building. After AJ left, Jan did manage to get one logic point back, but she's still short one, so she won't be getting promoted next round either.
At the House of Fallen Trees (see PV 6/4/25) Maura got promoted; she is now high enough in the Law career to defend any potential Criminals who move to the future crime base. Matthew had the night off, which he used to get the last mechanical point he'll need for his career; all that is needed now is for Matthew to get promoted up to Criminal Mastermind, at which point other Criminals can start moving in, as space permits.
The recent death of Stacy Landgraab's (see PV 6/4/25) mother (Amelia Pearson) was sad news, but the inheritance certainly helped to furnish the apartment, especially in light of the birth of their second son Kyle (and the birthday of their first son). Andrzej brought home a promotion bonus as well, so the family is in pretty good shape.
Sophie Young (see PV 6/4/25) got a promotion at work, and then she and Eric went on a date, which was mediocre at best. Eric got all the points needed for his next promotion.
Clarence Ramirez (see PV 6/4/25) got a chance card that lost him the mechanical point he'd just earned, so no promotion. Tracy had the day off, which was spent caring for the twins, who grew into toddlers this round. Tracy is keen on having another baby, but their relationship is suffering under the stress of work/family life, so it's not happening at the moment.
Calvin Dreamer (see PV 6/5/25) had a date with Brooke Larson which went very well. They're not ready to move in just yet, but we'll see how things develop with them.
Dagmar Grundstrom (see PV 6/5/25) went out with friends, did some stargazing which earned her $500, and checked the paper first thing in the morning for a night job, but was unsuccessful in her search.
Happy Simming!
