Pleasantview 2/28/21

 Heather Huffington (see PV 12/15/20) got a chance card promotion this round and it nearly killed her.  She wasn't supposed to come home until after dark, but the promotion brought her home early and hungry.  I barely got her to the fridge for a juice before she died of starvation.  It was close.  Martin had the day off, which he spent skilling for his next promotion.

Joshua Ruben (see PV 12/15/20) earned yet another promotion in the job that he doesn't really want.  And he didn't find the job he does want either.  At this rate, he might actually top Athletic before ever starting Dance lol.  Tiffany had the day off, which she spent cleaning the apartment.

Yvette Kim (see PV 12/15/20) still did not find a job in Journalism this round, but she did have her first pop.  I'd really like them to buy one of the houses in Pleasant Valley, but they're all too expensive at the moment.  It didn't help that Nick was unable to get the skills he needed before work, so no promotion for him.  I can keep them here one more round, but they definitely have to move before the baby's born because there is nowhere to put a crib.

Pleasantview 2/27/21

 Orlando Bertino (see PV 12/14/20) had a less good day this round.  He got a bad chance card at work that said he was fired.  He came home early, got the memory of being fired, and cried about being fired all day, but actually he was only demoted to the first level of Oceanography, so it really wasn't as bad as all that.  Teri finally rolled her LTW to reach her Golden Anniversary.  Maybe that's why she decided to skip school - because she figures she doesn't need an education to get married?  In any event, she's down to a D+ now, so she'll be forced to go to school next round.

Both Clarence and Erin Philippine (see PV 12/14/20) got promotions at work, which is great because they also decided it was time to add to their family and have another baby.  I'm a bit concerned, however, that their relationship is not stronger.  I worry that they may break up before the new little one even arrives.  Hopefully that doesn't happen though because I really like their little family.

Renaud Delarosa and his girlfriend Brooke (see PV 12/14/20) both got promotions this round.  They celebrated with a party that didn't impress their neighbors much, but everyone had a great time so they didn't care.  I think they both have next round off, so we'll see what they get up to when they have nothing to do.

Pleasantview 2/26/21

 Almeric Davis (see PV 12/13/20) got a much needed promotion this round.  It allowed the couple to make a partial payment on his student loan, though with the hefty interest earned it went back up to more than they originally owed.  On top of that, neither of them will work all weekend and their rent will be due Monday.  They certainly will not have enough to swing that, but they might just manage to pay it before it goes to collection.  We'll see how that works out for them.  In other news, their daughter Hope celebrated her toddler birthday.  She is going to be very beautiful I think.

Christy Ramirez (see PV 12/14/20) got promoted, which gave the family enough money to pay their back rent, though it'll be due again in a few days.  After work, Christy went out with some friends for a girls' night, then came home to work on her masters until the wee hours of the morning.  I neglected to notice that she needed a charisma point, so she won't be getting a promotion next round unless it's by chance card.  Checo didn't have much going on.  He really wants to paint a masterpiece, but they don't have an easel or any extra money to buy one, so I'm thinking I might send him to his hobby lot next round to paint.  The money would be helpful for sure.

Pleasantview 2/25/21

 Nancy Rusewicz (see PV 12/13/20) had the day off, which she spent with friends down at the community pool.  Later, she and Jace decided to try for another baby.  Jace is pretty old, but Nancy is only about halfway through adulthood so I can see her wanting a baby that actually shares her DNA, since all the other kids are alien births.  I was a little worried about their relationship prior to their decision to have a baby, and honestly I still have concerns.  Jace's score for Nancy went way up, but Nancy's for Jace is still only in the 70's, which may mean that having a baby will not save their relationship.  Does that ever work?

Calista Copur (see PV 12/13/20) spent some time with her older brother Andrew in the morning before work.  She should have been set for a promotion, but a bad chance card cost her a body point she needed.  Back at home, she had a long rest and then got to work restoring that body point.

Marion Worthington (see PV 12/13/20) got promoted on her first day of work.  Frances was not so lucky, but he did find his Athletic job after midnight, so that was good for him.  Since it was Friday, they had to make a payment on Marion's student loan, which they were able to handle in addition to their regular bills.  I'll think they'll still be in good shape to make the rent come Monday as well, so financially they're doing well.

Pleasantview 2/24/21

 Marie Mazza (see PV 12/12/20) had a pretty ordinary day.  She went to work during the day and slept the rest of the afternoon, while Andrew took care of Theo and worked on his GED.  In the evening she took care of Theo and tried to earn some body points while Andrew was at work.  She finished teaching Theo to walk just as the sun rose.

The Longs (see PV 12/12/20) had another productive day.  Brittany finished her degree and started on her masters.  She also took a little time out to give birth to their third child, a son named Justin.  Cole had the day off and went bowling with some friends before coming home to child care, pet care, and household chores.  He'll get back to work next round.  It also happened to be Skye's birthday and she aged into a child.  I've determined this lot is a little glitchy.  Not only did we have that issue with Brittany not popping, but I'm pretty sure she did not get paid for her vacation day and the time seems to run very slowly on this lot as well.  Not sure if the time thing has anything to do with the other two, but I'm going to keep an eye on things to see if it gets any worse.  They might have to move, which would be a shame considering how much money they've put into this house.  We'll see.

Pleasantview 2/23/21

 Claire Tellerman (see PV 12/11/20) decided to have a party this round.  She invited several family members and both her love interests (maybe she wanted them to fight over her?)  They did spend the entire time shoving each other, but it wasn't because of Claire.  I don't think she spoke to anyone the whole time because she suddenly became obsessed with cleaning everything.  Laura had a good time with the friends she invited to the party; she fell in love with Roger!  After everyone left, I'd intended for Claire to work on financial consulting or her GED, but discovered that the partygoers had broken not one, but BOTH computers, rendering Claire's night useless.  Now she'll have to spend the majority of her $320 to pay a repairman and she got absolutely nothing accomplished, apart from a semi-clean house.

Zena Dreamer (see PV 12/12/20) got a promotion at work and then took Nevada out to her gym for the afternoon.  While she was there, she met Peter Macarevich, who she really likes, but unfortunately he's off-limits to her because he's a Latte legacy spouse.  Too bad.  Back home, Zena bathed the dog and got the mechanical point she needs for her next promotion, while Nevada went straight off to bed.  The poor girl was exhausted from fighting the mysterious disease all day.

Pleasantview 2/22/21

 Logan Ottomas (see PV 12/11/20) got a huge bonus from a chance card this round, which will really help the family's finances going forward.  It was great timing as well, since both Kaitlyn and Chip grew up this round and Russell and Trudi decided to have another baby.  I wanted to keep the nursery as is for the new baby, so I built a new bedroom for Chip that is the same size as Kait and Gigi's room.  He went with a space theme; it turned out quite nice I think.  The extra cash will really help with those online classes as well.  Russell finished his first section and started the second; he also got promoted and now needs some skills.  Trudi took the day off and worked on her classes; she'll get to work one day before going on maternity leave, so hopefully she earns her next promo next round.
