Elise Bruty (see PV 9/14/20) settled into her new place where she discovered leftover tomato plants from the last residents. After work she spent a good deal of time working in the garden and ultimately harvested all the tomatoes. I'm not sure if she'll want to continue with gardening as a hobby, but she's got some fresh produce for now. She didn't have time to work on skills for her job, but since she's short on friends now as well, so she wouldn't have been promoted anyway.
Brandon Tellerman (see PV 8/9/20) had an uneventful round, sleeping through the day and working on his masters degree for Education at night. Next round he'll have his first day of work.
Annabeth and Dominique Copur (see PV 8/9/20) spent a quiet Sunday at home together. Dom taught one of the cats a skill she needed for her job. Annabeth invited Amy by to give her college money. Next round Annabeth will head back to work, but I doubt she'll ever get that last promotion she's been looking for because she needs too many friends and only has 5 days left before retirement.
That's it for today. Happy Simming!

Pleasantview 10/6/20
Ryan Jacquet (see PV 8/8/20) got a promotion at work and then had a date with one of his married girlfriends. He prefers them to be attached to someone else, so they don't get too attached to him. The date went fine, but I noticed he's somehow short on friends for his next promotion. He may need to take advantage of the "family outing" scheduled for next round just to meet (and hopefully befriend) some new people.
Luc Young (see PV 8/9/20) had a pretty uneventful round. He went to work and then had a group outing scheduled, but only one of his friends could make it, so it ended up being boring. His ex, Sophie, showed up while he was out and they were able to be civil, though there were no signs of them getting back together.
Joe and Marion Carr (see PV 8/9/20) both had the day off today. The cat did decide to go to work, but since she'd missed a day, her performance was too low for a promotion. In the middle of the night, Marion got the munchies and nearly ended her own life by catching fire while trying to serve crepes suzette. She's been fighting the "mysterious disease" for a while and I was worried this would be it for her, but luckily the firefighters arrived in the nick of time.

Pleasantview 10/5/20
Florence Delarosa (see PV 8/7/20) spent her day gardening, had a lame date in the evening, and came home exhausted, dropping straight into bed. Does life get any better for a sim?
The Cox family (see PV 8/7/20) welcomed their first child this round, a girl named Phoebe. She was born immediately after Chloe's "outing" (an at home brunch) with her mother, twin, and close friend Savannah. Christian was at work while all of this went down and by the time he returned, everyone was asleep, so he headed out to a community lot for an outing with his sister Hailey and couple other friends. Everything was going swimmingly until they paired off to play darts. I've never seen this happen before, but it seems like Christian got mad at his friend Lisa while they were playing and their relationship score dropped from the 80s to the 40s. This, of course, tanked the outing score, causing it to end early and Christian took a hit to his needs. Luckily he'd been in a great mood to start with, so he wasn't too adversely affected. Upon returning home, he studied up on the cleaning point he needed for work and went to bed ready to be promoted next round.
Ty Bubbler (see PV 8/8/20) had a slightly more productive round this time. He didn't find a Music job in the paper, but he did go to work at his Culinary job and earned some money. No promotion of course. The chances of Ty being able to come up with rent money in two days are somewhere between "very unlikely" and "absolutely impossible". The rule for sims not paying rent is that if it goes on long enough for it to be "sent to collection" (it gets added to their bills) I consider that to be an eviction notice and they must move out. If that happens to Ty, his finances will not leave him many choices for places to live. He does have a lot of friends, though, so maybe one of them will take him in.
Andrew and Kaylynn Ottomas (see PV 8/8/20) spent a quiet Sunday at home with their kids this round. They invited David over to make it a true family affair. He brought a friend and everyone spent time playing poker off and on. In the evening, Kaylynn was fiend on the exercise bike, though I'm pretty sure she's already maxed body. Gideon did a little stargazing, but was interrupted by ghost cat Cymmi. All in all, it was a pretty nice day for everyone.

Pleasantview 10/4/20
Brittany Korman (see PV 8/6/20) had the day off today and spent it getting that last body point she needed for work. She got the point just minutes before she'd have to leave for work the next morning, so I'm hopeful she'll get her final promotion next round right before she ages up to elder. It'd be a nice way to celebrate. Jeannette called a couple of friends and met a new girl who walked by. They watched cartoons all afternoon while Brittany was doing yoga.
Miley Futa (see PV 8/6/20) had an uneventful round. She spent some time on the exercise bike (she's one very fit old lady), had a bath and a nap, cooked dinner for one, trimmed her fruit tree, chatted online, and did some financial consulting.
Landon and Tanya's household (see PV 8/6/20) was all about skilling/jobs this round. Landon needed a body point, which he got upon returning from work. Both Tanya and Jonathan got promoted and started skilling as soon as they got home. Amar still did not find a job in Dance, so spent his day doing household chores and taking care of the pets.
After the tragedy of last round Cynthia Picaso (see PV 8/7/20) decided this time (per the new rules) that she wanted another baby and promptly produced a plant son who she named Griffin. Having two children will increase her odds of marrying off six children, but I still doubt it will happen. She immediately went off to work and got promoted. Upon returning home she had a date with Jessie Carr, who she'd brought home from work. It went fine and they are now in crush. Stuart babysat while his mom was working and then had a date with Tessa Ramirez. The date went well, though I'm not sure they're a very good fit for one another. We'll see what happens there.
Jace Lothario and Charles Bertino (see PV 8/7/20) both had the day off this round. While Charles slept, Jace honed his guitar skills. After dark, Charles went for a swim in the brand new pool I decided to build them.
Rebecca Larson (see PV 8/7/20) scored another dream date this round and spent the rest of her time lounging around the house. Andrea did absolutely nothing and continued to be useless.

Pleasantview 10/3/20
Margaret Dreamer (see PV 8/5/20) spent a quiet day at home, tending her plants. In the evening she was invited out by a friend of a friend and had a pretty good time at a club.
Isabella Landgraab (see PV 8/5/20) went to work and then did some household chores at night. I had the idea to get her garden in shape and then call the Garden Club out, so that she could maybe get the wishing well (I haven't done this in ages), but apparently you can't call them at night, which is kind of a problem for vampires. If I can manage it somehow next time, it could be a good way for her to make the friends she needs.
When we last visited Claire Deppiesse (see PV 8/5/20) she was annoyed with her daughter Evelyn. That didn't improve this round, but they did find a solution. Evelyn decided to move her boyfriend James Radcliffe in (one of her boyfriends anyway). Claire took the opportunity to move out and live with Dylan Broke, the father of her twin sons who she recently rekindled things with. She took one of the dogs with her (the pregnant one). Consequently, I was able to rearrange the sleeping arrangements, so that Julie finally has her own room, as opposed to sharing with first her mom and then her grandma. I don't know yet whether Evelyn and James will decide to get married or have any children together, but at least there will be one source of income (James works in Culinary) since Evelyn again did not find her job.

Pleasantview 10/2/20
I had to do a slight remodel on the Larson house (see PV 8/3/20) this round, since Craig became a vampire in the interim. Since I was already expanding the master bedroom a little, I decided to go ahead and give them a master bathroom as well. Apart from that, they pretty much maintained the status quo. Craig did not find a job in Military, Alicia did not finish her GED, and she did not give birth.
AJ Broke (see PV 8/3/20) had a successful day at the cafe, nearly ranking up to level 5. Obviously, he'll never achieve five level 10 businesses, given his age, but I am interested to see who he leaves it to when he eventually passes on. That won't be for a while yet; he still has plenty of time left on his bar. Xander had the day off, but Gloria had to work. She had greeted a walkby earlier in the day and I'd hoped someone in the household would befriend her, so that Gloria could finally get promoted, but no one quite got there.
Tammy Ottomas and Griff Schehl (see PV 8/4/20) spent a relaxing Sunday at home. Tad should've had a play date, but sadly he has no friends. I watched for children to walk by, but none did. Griff tried to work on skills for his job, but between being pregnant and sick with a mysterious disease, he didn't get much done.
Marylena GilsCarbo (see PV 8/4/20), whose name I messed up on last update, has become a grandmother since her last update. I think she's pretty excited about that. Now if only the rest of her five children would get married she'd be ecstatic (her LTW is to marry off six children). Everyone in the household needed to have a group outing this round and since they all wanted some combination of Marcus, Brandon, and Aaron (apparently no one cares about Gabi), I had them do one big outing. They never actually got around to the "going out" part of the outing, however, because first Garrett had school and then Adam had work, but a good time was had by all. Garrett developed a crush on his friend Trinity Wong; we'll see what happens there. Adam did not get promoted, but Marylena finished a car, which brought in a nice sum.

Pleasantview 10/1/20
Dylan and Carter Broke (see PV 8/2/20) spent a quiet Sunday round, inviting their kids around for college payments, bathing the dog, and just taking it easy. After using up his last vacation day, Carter went looking for Dance and it was the first job to pop up. It seems like a weird segue to me, but who am I to judge what sims want?
The Goths (see PV 8/2/20) spent their day as they always do, doing whatever the heck they want all day. I was reminded of a fun story, however, when the ghosts of Gunther and Cornelia Goth came out to play. Their ghosts are red, indicating they died in a fire. Interestingly enough, that's how they died in my Sims 1 game. For some reason, I really hated the elder Goths in TS1, so I moved them out of their mansion and into a trailer and made Cornelia become a witch. At some point, she got hold of a dragon egg and when it hatched it literally burned everything, including them, to the ground. Maybe that's not a fun story? It is to me, lol.
Grace Butler (see PV 8/3/20) took the day off to try to deal with the kids and the house. I don't know how successful she was, lol. It was Sunday, so the older boys had play dates. Since Blake didn't have any friends to invite, but Corbin had a lot, I let Corbin invite a few extras. There ended up being six additional kids underfoot as Grace tried to care for the girls and the pets, while also cleaning up a little and trying to socialize with a townie walkby for her LTW (20 Lovers). Add to that both girls having birthdays and you've really got a PAR-TAY. At the end of the day, she'd made friends with the townie guy, no toddlers learned any skills, the house was still a wreck, and she'd neglected to earn any of the skills needed for her next promotion. But everyone (except Grace) was clean, fed, and rested by the end of the round, so Grace counts that as a win.
