Tinker: Ron and Lauren welcomed their sixth (and final) child into the family, a baby boy named Michael. Lauren is very glad to be done with pregnancy; the last few have been pretty tough on her. On top of that, she and Ron are going to be so old raising this last one that she's worried they won't be able to keep up. They'll make it through somehow. They have a lot of help with the girls still at home, but that won't be the case for long, as Emily will be off to college soon.

Delarosa: Even though William and Mary dodged a bullet with the tax man, they still haven't saved up enough cash for a kitten and all the supplies that go with it. If either of them had any ambition, they might get promoted at work, but they're content to stay in their current roles.

Ramirez: The tax bill took a toll on their finances, but they're hanging in there and trying to prepare for the new baby. All those years ago, when they just had Checo, they never imagined that one day they'd have five children. At least they know they can't have any more kids at this point, so it's really just about working out their space issues.

Mendoza: Carmen is finally ready to settle down (maybe?) and she's going to ask Makoto to move in with her just in time for their baby to be born. It's crazy to be starting over with a newborn at their ages, but that's life sometimes. She's not sure where exactly she's going to put the baby in this tiny house, but they'll have to make it work somehow.

Picaso: Jessica wants to be supportive of Matt's business, but she's getting a little tired of being the only one bringing in any significant income. She works full time at the restaurant, helps out at the bar, and still manages to find time to bring in extra cash with cooking competitions and candy-making. Meanwhile, Matt hangs around the house all day, then heads out to the bar in the afternoons, where he spends all her hard-earned money on "stuff he needs for the business". It's getting old.

Zarubin: Greg did indeed find a girl to date...Sharon Martin's sister Pamela! That wasn't exactly what Darryl had in mind, but if his brother wants to date his girlfriend's sister, who is he to object. They're twins, after all, they've always done everything together. Well, almost everything. Late one night when Darryl was stargazing, he had a very weird experience that he hasn't told anyone about. Thankfully, since he's still young, there won't be any lasting repercussions.
