Gavigan: Nathan's life is in a rut. He goes to work, pays his bills, and dates women who are unavailable. He really needs to find a new direction before he gets stuck in this cycle forever.
Dreamer: As it turns out, the desk job was only a steppingstone to being promoted to vice. Davis's captain does have confidence in his abilities after all.

Pleasant: Jeff and Diane were lucky enough to have a really small tax bill this year, which allowed them to keep a nice sum in their bank account. Diane is loving her job these days and has her eye on becoming a real chef someday - better late than never.
Matlapin/King: Darleen is floating on air in wedded bliss these days. The only thing that could make her life more perfect is to add a baby to the family. Though they aren't exactly trying yet, they aren't really being that careful either, so hopefully baby King will be on the way soon.

Oldie: The work is never done for Mary Sue. After a hard day at her job, she has to come home and clean up after the dogs. It's amazing to her how much they get into while she's away.

Broke: Buck and Mary Lu's tax bill wasn't too bad, but it did cut into their vacation savings. Mary Lu is getting very excited about the birth of her first grandchild. She's been calling Susie on a daily basis to check in with her and see how the pregnancy is progressing.
Tinker/Taylor: Aiyana is still looking for her dream job as an oceanographer. She's beginning to get discouraged though because there just isn't anything available in that field.

Hick: Not only are Elden's dogs eating him out of house and home, but his tax bill was larger than expected and now he's just about broke. He really needs to figure out a better way to make ends meet.
Broke: Flat and Flo got hit with a huge tax bill. It wiped out almost all of their savings. Flo got straight to work on a new painting to try and rebuild their financial cushion.

Oldie: Herb finally got his wish when Jessica agreed to go out with him. They met up at a nightclub and were having a great time when Melissa showed up. She was not thrilled to see Herb out with someone else, though Herb thought she was overreacting considering she has a boyfriend herself. She had a complete meltdown, and he was afraid it would ruin his date with Jessica, but evidently this kind of thing has happened to her before, so she wasn't overly concerned about it. She was even willing to spend a little "quality time" with him in the photo booth. Life is good for Herb right now, even if he is broke and facing weeks of vindictiveness from Melissa.
