Megahood 11/30/22 (Pleasantview)

 Burb:  Brad and Tiffany got hit with a hefty tax bill this year, but it worked out okay since Tiffany also got a big bonus at work.  In addition to Tiffany's income, Brad's cookbooks and John's contributions to the household funds keep their finances relatively stable.

I've realized that I'm jumping the gun a bit on taxes.  Technically, I should be paying them on the first day of the season, but the Burbs only shifted into the next season at the end of the day, so I really should be paying next round.  However, since I've already started and I really don't want to have to play two more rounds, I'm going with it and having everyone pay a day early.

Megahood 11/27/22 (Academie)

 Lam Plaza Dorm:  Gina Caliente was worried about starting college because she wouldn't know anyone, but she found herself immediately welcomed into a friend group at Lam Plaza.  Denise and Lucia are very friendly and, although Shane is quieter, he's a nice guy as well.  Lucia and Shane finally finished up their sophomore year and are heading into junior year.  Their relationship remains rather casual; neither of them is even thinking about anything more serious.

And that is it for the round!  I know it took me FOREVER to get through this round and I think I should do one more round because we're heading into the next season, which means getting everyone whose seasons are off squared away and having everyone pay their taxes, which is something I like to do before leaving the 'hood because there's enough to remind myself of whenever I start this 'hood that I don't need the extra burden of making sure their taxes get paid on top of it.  Anyway, it'll probably just be one more round because I'm looking forward to moving on to something new.  Until next time, Happy Simming!

 Boggs Hall Dorm:  Alexander's crush has been avoiding him ever since he tried to make a move on her, so he's been devoting all his time to his studies instead.  He talks to his brother Montgomery on a regular basis now that he's also in college, but mostly keeps to himself.

 Pinenut Plaza Dorm:  Montgomery Goth is just beginning Uni and, though his classes are fine, he is not impressed by the dorm situation.  He thinks it would be a good idea to pledge a fraternity as soon as possible.  As for his major, he hasn't decided yet what it is he wants to focus on.  He'll remain undeclared for a bit longer while he makes his decision.

 Tri-Var Sorority:  Jodie started dating a guy named Vince Welsh this term and she thinks it looks promising for a future with the two of them.  She hasn't had much dating experience in the past, so she may be jumping the gun, but she's hopeful it'll all work out.  Now that she's graduating and moving back home, she should have more time to invest in the relationship.  Jaya has finished her sophomore year and is looking forward to her next term.  She's still very much in love with Chester Gieke, but she's not ready to get engaged yet, even though he's mentioned it a couple of times.

 Urele-Oresha-Cham Fraternity:  Jason finally graduated, but not before moving in one of his fellow frat brothers to hold down the fort until some new pledges come in.  He's more than ready to start his life with Chastity.  He'll be moving in with her and her parents for the time being until they decide where they want to live.

Megahood 11/14/22 (Downtown)

 Karana:  Vivian is not at all happy with her new apartment.  It's much smaller than the old one and not nearly as nice.  Why did her building have to get condemned?  If she's honest though, she really couldn't afford the old one, so at least there's some good news.  Immediately after they moved in all the girls celebrated birthdays.  Buzz came over to join in on the festivities and he and Vivian ended up in the photo booth at the convenience store downstairs.  Vivian is hoping and praying that she's not pregnant again.  Not only is there no room in the apartment for another baby, but she only just got rid of the nanny expenses and, after getting demoted at work (again), she can't afford to take those on again.

Cordial:  The Cordial sisters have just moved into Greaves Place as well and so far, they're liking the place and their neighbors.  Kim even met a guy, Buzz Grunt, when he was visiting his daughters next door.  He's a bit older than she is - his daughters are teens - but she really likes him, so why worry about a silly thing like age?  They went out to The Hub and danced all night.  She can't wait to see him again.

 Ramirez/Hurt:  After settling into their new apartment at Greaves Place, the first thing Checo and Joel did was throw a housewarming party.  Checo invited his family, and a number of their friends came by as well, including Pascal and Priya.  The festivities lasted well into the night and a good time was had by all.

Wan:  Patricia is excited to finally be starting her adult life.  She's got a new apartment, a new job as an EMT, and a new boyfriend - Knut Grove.  She couldn't be happier; everything is going her way.  She doesn't know why her sister is always so down on Knut.  Just because things didn't work out for the two of them doesn't mean they won't work out for her.  Cynthia's just being uptight and overprotective as usual.

 Broke/Caer/Aspir:  Upon moving into their new home at 35 Greaves Ave. (their apartment building was condemned), everyone got started right away on getting things sorted out and organized.  They don't have too long before becoming parents and they weren't expecting to have to move on top of everything else.  Hopefully they'll be able to get everything done in time.

 Loste/Zarubin:  Daisy and Keith have their little family all settled into their new apartment.  Keith immediately turned his attention to the girls' schooling.  Since there's a very good private school nearby, he wanted to see if he could get the girls in, so he invited the headmaster over for dinner.  The headmaster was thrilled to accept Sage and Wendy into his school.  Meanwhile, Daisy has been working on potty training Cam; she's ready to be done with diapers.

 Peterson:  Jeff decided to ask out Fae Summerdream.  Now that she lives just down the street, he can see her more often.  They had a great time, but he's still not convinced she's "The One".

Curious/Patel:  Pascal and Priya are beginning to settle into a routine.  They're learning to juggle work, childcare, and personal time.  It's a lot to handle, but they're starting to feel more comfortable as parents.

 Augustine/Gossamer:  As they await the birth of their baby, Oberon and Elena are no closer to being on the same page about marriage.  Elena doesn't see why having a baby together means they should be married; Oberon feels it's the right thing to do.  It remains to be seen what their ultimate decision will be.

Loste/Grove/Summerdream:  It was only a matter of time before Fae and Arty hooked up, but afterwards Arty began to think about where his life is heading and came to the conclusion that it might be time for him to settle down with someone and try to live a "normal" life.  Lyla has been asking him to move in for a while, so he figured that might be his best bet.  Fae and Knut will hold down the fort here and no doubt others will join them.

 Gale/Ejess:  Ana had no sooner moved in than Caliban surprised her with an engagement ring.  She couldn't be happier about it because she's been secretly hoping for a proposal for some time.  Now if only she could find a job, life would be perfect.

Arlecchino/Gray:  Hero and Grayson have settled into their little house and are awaiting the arrival of their baby.  In the meantime, Grayson decided to adopt a dog.  He feels it'll be good practice for them before the baby comes.

 Zarubin:  Wanda finally felt safe dipping her toes back into the water of the criminal underground and started working as a bookie.  At least she put her time off to good use with her extra money-making opportunities and she even helped the boys with their schoolwork.
