Gossamer: Desdemona's new job is working out great - she even got a promotion! She used some of her spending money to buy a handheld game console. It's a great way to kill time and avoid family interaction. Her parents are always wrapped up in writing or baby care, so they haven't noticed how solitary Desdemona has become.

Kim/Teatherton: Alexandra and Jerome have been dating for a while now, and she's almost sure he's about to propose to her. Absolutely nothing would make her happier, as she's been sure he was the one since almost the very beginning of their relationship. She's a little nervous about becoming a stepmother to his son, but she plans to do her very best to bond with him and be there for him as his own mother clearly has not.

Pachis/Charming: Miranda was disappointed to learn that Claire is not any better a parent than her father is. She was hoping she'd take care of Lucas once Miranda leaves for college, but that doesn't seem likely, as she doesn't even really take care of her own daughter, Celeste. Her only hope is that Celeste and Lucas will bond and at least have each other. At least, now that Lucas is in school, he'll get a meal every day and can help himself to snacks, so he won't starve to death while she's gone.

Smith/Zarubin: Rodney and Melissa have one more child out of diapers, as Kendra will soon be starting school. Just one more to go and they'll be out of the diapers and bottles phase for good (hopefully). Rodney finally found a job in the field he's passionate about. It's only manager at a fast-food restaurant, but it's a start.
Mendoza: Lisa invited Fricorith over in the hopes they could figure out where they're going with their relationship, but he ended up leaving early because he wasn't feeling well. She fell into bed exhausted and not any closer to the answers she needs, only to be awakened by a sound downstairs which turned out to be a burglar. He'd mostly stolen items from the unit next door, but he did manage to get away with her tv. When the police arrived, they said they'd be on the lookout for the criminal, but she doesn't have much hope they'll catch the guy.

Monty/Goth: Now that Antonio's back at the ranch, he's not as motivated as he once was for writing his cookbooks. He's dabbled a bit, but he kind of feels overshadowed by his sister Bianca, who also writes cookbooks. Why couldn't he come up with something unique like his brother Claudio?
Monty/Weir: Connor and Bianca invited the whole family over for a big birthday celebration for the twins. Some of their family members hadn't met yet, so it was a good way for everyone to get to know each other. Bianca was hoping that getting the girls off to school would give her more time to work on her cookbooks again, but all the excitement from the party sent her into labor earlier than expected and she delivered another baby girl, Hannah. At least it's just the one this time. Maybe she can handle diapers, feedings, and her job at the same time?

Lothario/Loste: Kristen is settling in nicely with her future in-laws. She hasn't found a job yet, but she's taken some style points from Adriana and make her look more sophisticated. She certainly doesn't want to be an embarrassment to her new family. Don was lucky enough to get hired on as a teacher right away, so he's jumping right into the work force.
Pleasant: The Pleasant family had two reasons to celebrate with Jocelyn's birthday and the birth of their son Kyle. All the grandparents were invited round again to meet the new baby and spend time with Jocelyn. Having two small children so close together, however, has really been a challenge for Daniel and Cassandra. Luckily, they have plenty of staff to help out.

Ottomas: Life is back to normal for Dora and Peter, though Peter's finding himself restless with no crops to tend. He decided to throw an impromptu get together for a few of his friends. Everyone had a good time, and it was a nice change of pace for a typically solitary man.
Teatherton: Johnathan and Sarah are gearing up for Rachel's teen years which are just around the corner. She's been a pretty docile and good-natured child so far, but you never know what you'll get when puberty strikes.

Augustine: Frida is still having no luck in the job market, so Miguel took a job as a security guard to keep some money coming in until Frida finds a job. His dream is to be a financial consultant, but who would ever take advice from someone who is perpetually broke?
Martin/Caliente: Sharon's grades have been slipping since she started dating Darryl and consequently, her parents have grounded her until she brings them back up. They wouldn't even let her invite him to Pam's birthday party, even though they invited her stupid older brother Andrew and his wife, who she and Pamela barely even know, as well as their cousin Nina, who is their father's favorite niece, but who they've never really spent any time with.

O'Mackey: A spot on the police force finally opened up for Elizabeth and she couldn't be more thrilled. Thanks to her qualifications and her mother-in-law's recommendation, she is starting on the vice squad immediately. She's a little nervous about her first day but knows she's up to the task.
Chesterson: Sally has made peace with the fact that she won't be having any more children. She'll have to be content with her grandchildren, her pets, and her art. She really does have a lot to be thankful for.

McGreggor: Now that the twins are mobile, Donald and Fiona are having a terrible time keeping up with them. They don't know how the elderly nanny manages. When they're together they do fairly well, but whenever one of them is alone with the twins, chaos ensues.
Goldstein/Viejo: So far, the living arrangements are working out fantastically. Betty is happy having her small space back and the Viejos are thrilled to have so much space after living in such cramped quarters for so long. Now that Margarita is mobile, she'll have plenty of room to explore her surroundings and Catherine can't wait to get in that greenhouse come Spring.

Though Stormy has enjoyed having her husband home with her, she knows he'll only get grumpy if he doesn't have something to do with his time, so she's happy he's employed again.
Contrary: While he's waiting to attain witch status, Talbot has been reading technical manuals that will hopefully be useful in improving his work performance. Meanwhile, Emma is gaining abilities as a neutral witch, which she feels is the most practical discipline. Her friend Marian Wirth is very much in agreement ever since Emma cast a spell on her that caused her to shed 40 pounds overnight!

Jocque: Some of the pressure has been taken off Amie now that Nikole is able to help out with the younger kids after school. Plus, they get to save on nanny expenses. Emilie has really been struggling at school, so Amie and Henri spend as much time as possible working with her. Nikole is happy to help out, but also wants to spend time with Lukas. She's hoping he'll ask her to go steady.

Wan/Jocque: Marcel and Cynthia have been talking about getting married for some time now, but it never seemed like the right time. Finally, they realized they'd waited long enough and there would never be a perfect time, so they decided to just do it. They threw together a spontaneous wedding and tied the knot right then and there. Since it was all so sudden, their families weren't able to attend, but they made up for that by throwing a reception later on and inviting all their family and friends to celebrate with them.

Aspir: Luis and Noriko were thrilled when their son Victor stopped by for a visit. He said he had to see his father's pregnancy to believe it. His new sibling will be very close in age to his child-to-be, which is a little odd, but at least they'll always have a playmate.
Nejem: The Nejems adopted yet another kitten, which brings their total to five cats. If they keep this up, they'll get a reputation for being the "cat people".

Grunt: Since Vivian isn't budging on the marriage issue, Buzz has decided to try another tactic. He's going to play hard to get for a while and see if that makes her more interested in him. He was invited out to a club with several ladies and when he got home there was a message from Viv asking if he wanted to go out. He shot her a text saying he was too tired from clubbing, but maybe another time.
Capp: Cordelia got settled into her new home and took a job as a field researcher. It's not what she was hoping for, but it'll do until she finds something better. Her sisters, Goneril and Regan, invited her out for a night on the town, where she'd hoped to meet a man, but no such luck.

Caer: Money is getting pretty tight for Sullivan and Tazanna as they await the birth of their next litter of puppies. If only Tazanna could gain some traction in the restaurant reviewing industry, they could at least have a fairly steady source of income.

Curious/Almassizadeh: Jenny just couldn't get Renee out of her head, so she did something she'd told herself she'd never do again - she asked her to move in with her. Renee accepted, much to Jenny's delight. Maybe in time Jenny will even broach the subject of marriage.

Riley/Pachis: So much has changed for Timothy Riley. He was surprised to learn of Alyssa's sudden passing, but he was even more surprised to find her on his doorstep, newly resurrected as a zombie and also pregnant with his child. He wasn't exactly keen on the prospect of her moving in, but she had nowhere else to go. Her husband moved on immediately following her death, and she's not close to either of her adult daughters, so for now she's living here with Tim. As if that weren't enough, Samantha's been hinting about marriage, which he's definitely not ready for. He's not sure how he'll keep juggling everything, but maybe his new job as a private eye will provide him with some good excuses.
Mashuga/Matlapin: Omar and Sylvia Marie are adjusting to their new living situation. Omar helps out with Joyce and Sylvia really likes the cat. Sylvia has been thinking lately about marriage, though she's pretty sure Omar is nowhere near ready. They're not getting any younger though, so she hopes he'll get on board sooner rather than later.

Gere: Inigo thought he'd been vindicated when Chastity moved back home. Those thoughts were quickly dispelled, however, when she informed her parents that she'd be moving in with Jason as soon as he graduates. He knows Gwen is going to jump right back on the baby train once Chastity's gone.
Green: Gabriel and Nina settled into his old room and Gabe was lucky enough to find a job right away. Nina hasn't found anything yet, but that's understandable because Belladonna Cove is not known for being a scientific community. She may have to consider commuting to Strangetown.
