American History Challenge 2/17/19
So I've been working hard getting all my tribes created, lots built for them, moving them all in, etc. I still need to build ceremonial grounds for each tribe to be used for marriages and burials, but since we won't have either of those for a while, there's no rush on that. I've played through a few days with each tribe, working on getting a rule set written as I go through. Each tribe is expecting its first child, so that's exciting. I'm starting in the year 1400. There won't be any settlers coming in until at least 1550-1600, so I should have a large group by then. Haven't worried to much about rules for settlers yet, as that's a ways away. So yeah, that's pretty much where I am right now. Next round all those babies will be born and we'll officially be off and running. Stay tuned!

American History Challenge 2/5/19
Ok, so I've been working hard on getting this challenge off the ground. The basic premise will be to play from Native Americans to the future of the U.S. I have divided my 'hood into five regions (sub-hoods): Northwest, Southwest, Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. Each region has various tribes that lived in that area. Not all tribes are represented, of course, just 5 or 6 tribes per region. Each tribe starts out with just a married couple using the tribe name as their last name. When their children grow up, they'll only be allowed to marry members of the tribes in their region. Even though I know there must have been wars and such between tribes, I can't find any info about that online, so I guess my tribes will live peacefully for 150-200 years before white settlers come into the picture. Right now I'm just trying to get everyone settled in, their homes built, some basic rules started, etc. I've got NW and SW pretty much done, but still need to work on the other three areas. That's all for now. Happy Simming!
